The World Health Organization, whose largest private donor is Bill Gates, has activated its highest alert level for the growing monkeypox outbreak, declaring the virus a public health emergency of international concern.

Go ahead and mark it down that here, on Day 859 of 15 Days To Flatten The Curve, we have a new curve to flatten, namely monkeypox, so says the World Health Organization. I’m sure it’s just a random coincidence that vaccine and digital identification king Bill Gates is the largest private donor to the WHO. I mean, come on, does anyone really think that giving them over $4,100,000,000.00 in ‘donations’ gives him any influence in their decision making process? 🤣🤣🤣

Do you know what the original pandemic was? A table-setting dress rehearsal, that’s what. Having proved they can forcibly vaccinate the majority of the global population, having proved that the majority of people will accept masking, distancing and lockdowns, there is little to no reason to stop doing that. When will it all end? It ends with a microchip in the back of your right hand, that’s where it ends. Enjoy the ride, but I won’t be taking that ride with you, I have a plane to catch.

WHO declares rapidly spreading monkeypox outbreak a global health emergency, did they consult Bill Gates first?

FROM CNBC: The rare designation means the WHO now views the outbreak as a significant enough threat to global health that a coordinated international response is needed to prevent the virus from spreading further and potentially escalating into a pandemic. Although the declaration does not impose requirements on national governments, it serves as an urgent call for action. The WHO can only issue guidance and recommendations to its member states, not mandates. Member states are required to report events that pose a threat to global health.

The U.N. agency declined last month to declare a global emergency in response to monkeypox. But infections have increased substantially over the past several weeks, pushing WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to issue the highest alert.

Before a global health emergency is declared, the WHO’s emergency committee meets to weigh the evidence and make a recommendation to the director general. The committee was unable to reach a consensus on whether monkeypox constitutes an emergency. Tedros, as the WHO’s chief, made the decision to issue the highest alert based on the rapid spread of the outbreak around the world.

“We have an outbreak that has spread around the world rapidly, through new modes of transmission, about which we understand too little,” Tedros said. “For all of these reasons, I have decided that the global monkeypox outbreak represents a public health emergency of international concern.”

More than 16,000 cases of monkeypox have been reported across more than 70 countries so far this year, and the number of confirmed infections rose 77% from late June through early July, according to WHO data. Men who have sex with men are currently at highest risk of infection.

Five deaths from the virus have been reported in Africa this year. No deaths have been reported outside Africa so far. Most people are recovering from monkeypox in two to four weeks, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The virus causes a rash that can spread over the body. People who have caught the virus said the rash, which looks like pimples or blisters, can be very painful.

The current monkeypox outbreak is highly unusual because it is spreading widely in North American and European nations where the virus is not usually found. Historically, monkeypox has spread at low levels in remote parts of West and Central Africa where rodents and other animals carried the virus. Europe is currently the global epicenter of the outbreak, reporting more than 80% of confirmed infections worldwide in 2022. The U.S. has reported more than 2,500 monkeypox cases so far across 44 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. READ MORE

 Trump declares Venezuela’s airspace ‘completely CLOSED’ after warning land strikes on drug gangs will start ‘very soon’

FROM THE SUN US: The US president’s warning comes amid escalating tensions between Washington and Caracas with fear ramping up over an all-out war over Venezuela’s drug gangs. The airspace closure comes as US and Venezuela continue to clash over Trump’s war on drugs – and the US ramps up its military presence in the Caribbean.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump announced: “To all Airlines, Pilots, Drug Dealers, and Human Traffickers, please consider THE AIRSPACE ABOVE AND SURROUNDING VENEZUELA TO BE CLOSED IN ITS ENTIRETY.”

US military aircraft are already said to be “almost constantly” conducting patrols in the international airspace near Venezuela, a US official told the Washington Post. On Thursday, Trump vowed to escalate military action against alleged drug smugglers, saying the US military would start land operations in Venezuela “very soon”.

He said: “You probably noticed that people aren’t wanting to be delivering by sea, and we’ll be starting to stop them by land also. The land is easier, but that’s going to start very soon.”

Last week, the US aviation regulator warned major airlines of a “potentially hazardous situation” when flying over Venezuela due to a “worsening security situation and heightened military activity in or around” the country. Venezuela has since revoked operating rights for six major international airlines that have suspended flights into the country following the warning from the US Federal Aviation Administration.
