Help us to send 150 King James Bibles to the Obion County Jail in Tennessee, the latest facility to reach out to Bibles Behind Bars

A counsellor at the Obion County Jail reached out to us, wondering if we could supply her with some Bibles for use in their facility, and I wrote back to her right away to tell her that we certainly could. But she was only looking for maybe a case of Bibles, so I looked up the info on their facility and saw it holds 149 inmates. I would love to be able to send them a Bible for every inmate.

“Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;” Psalm 79:11 (KJB)

Jesus sure does have a heart for the prisoner in the Bible, so much so that He started His earthly ministry on verses that talk about “setting the captives free” in Isaiah 61:1. Many of the first century Christian wound up in jail, as did most of the apostles as well. So a Bible-sending ministry that goes to the jails, prisons and detention centers is really hitting the “sweet spot” as far as the Lord is concerned. DL Moody had his Colportage Association, and we have Bibles Behind Bars. The work continues!

You are invited to come celebrate the Grand Opening of the NTEB Bible Believers Bookstore in beautiful downtown Palatka

We are so excited to be right now planning and preparing our first-ever mini Camp Meeting to be held at Bethany Baptist Church here in Saint Augustine, Florida. The dates are September 13th through the 15th, and we have some very exciting things planned for this event. The first and last nights of the meeting are bookended around the grand opening of the NTEB Bible Believers Bookstore in Palatka.

Here are the events and special guests you need to know about:

• FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 13TH: David Daniels from Chick Publications is coming down to join us, and on Friday night starting at 7:00 PM EST, he will present a message on the supremacy of the King James Bible at Bethany Baptist Church in Saint Augustine.
• SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 14TH: Pastor Joel Tillis and his entire Soul Trap team from Suncoast Baptist Church will be on hand to help us launch the grand opening of the NTEB Bible Believers Bookstore at its new home at 209N 4TH Street in Palatka. Bro. Tillis will also be on hand to sign copies of his book ‘The Little Big Church’, and Bro. Daniels will be there as well to sign any of his books we sell that you might wish to purchase. We look forward to welcoming the wonderful people of our new Palatka downtown community there also. They have been very supportive of the Bookstore since our “soft opening”, and you’ll very much enjoy spending time with them.
  JUST ADDED: End times author Dr. Bill Grady will be at the Bookstore all day Saturday as well to join in the book signing!
• SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 15TH: Join us for “all-day church” at Bethany Baptist starting with Sunday School at 10AM , the Sunday Service at 11AM, followed by a southern-style old-fashioned dinner on the grounds under our pavilion and a closing praise and testimony service back inside the church.
