We told you last year how Pope Pius XII worked to enable Adolf Hitler to carry out his demonic plan to kill the entire race of Jews in Europe. Not only that, Pope Pius XII also allowed Hitler to get rid of Germany’s Roman Catholic population as well. Hey Roman Catholics, how about them apples? Still think the pope, any pope, is the ‘vicar of Christ’?

The big con that the Vatican is currently trying to pull off is admitting yes, there have been abuses in the past but that’s not happening today. They are willing to admit to a little bit of ‘ecclesiastical transgression’ but that’s all in the past, so it doesn’t really matter. Flash-forward to 2020 where you have Pope Francis lying and covering up for pedophile priests while blessing the pagan Catholics in the Amazon and rubber stamping his approval on Gaia worship. Not only that, he changed the name of the Holy See Vatican Secret Archive to make its connection with the Nazis harder to spot.

That Pope Francis is a busy little bee, and when the Vatican releases the Pope Pius XII documents on March 2, I expect he’s only going to get busier.

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: For his critics, Pope Pius XII is a figure who repeatedly failed to take a strong stance against Hitler or in favor of the Jews. For his defenders, he was a spiritual leader who did his best to work silently to protect the Roman Catholic and to allow its representatives to operate in secret to help those in need.

The pope’s role vis-à-vis the Nazi and fascist regimes, and the extermination of Jews, have been at the center of many disputes over the years. These disputes have often transcended the borders of historical research.

Considering that some of the documents were previously made accessible, it remains to be seen whether the Vatican’s decision will help solve the controversy.

“I believe that the opening of the archive is a symbolic gesture, I doubt that it will bring significant changes to what is known,” Prof. Manuela Consonni, chair of Holocaust Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Department of Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry, told The Jerusalem Post. “I’m not saying that nothing interesting will come out of it,” she said. “I think we will find documents that will support better what we know about him.”

Consonni said part of the reason the church did not take a stronger stance against Nazism and fascism was that it felt more affinity with those regimes than with communism, which it considered a greater danger.

“I do not believe that Pius XII wanted the Jews to be annihilated,” she said. “He was silent because he was indifferent, because he was not so interested. Even if scholars were to discover that he secretly did more than what we know so far, this doesn’t change the situation: As pope, he should have raised his voice publicly. It was his moral duty.”

Iael Nidam-Orvieto, director of the International Institute for Holocaust Research at Yad Vashem, expressed satisfaction regarding the possibilities offered to researchers by the opening of the archives.

“All the research that has been carried out on Pius XII so far has been based on very limited documents, while historians did not have access to the main bulk of material,” she told the Post. “Therefore, we can say that our insight on such a controversial topic has been only partial. For this reason, I believe that this is a very important step.”

Nidam-Orvieto said it is going to take many years to reach a fuller picture. “Research is a long process,” she said. “We will have to wait and see. I also believe, like many others, that we are not going to find any revolutionary document,” she said. “I don’t think that history is made through such things, but instead through vast bulks of material that enable better understandings.”

The archives will allow historians to shed new light on issues such as the pope’s policies and strategies, Nidam-Orvieto said, and also his relationship with religious orders and emissaries in different countries and the situation in those countries.

“All of these topics are crucial, and new questions will be opened as well,” she said. “Pius XII is a controversial figure, and this is not going to disappear. But we are going to be much more knowledgeable.”

The question of how the pope acted during the Holocaust is not only important to scholars.

On October 16, 1943, the Nazis raided the Jewish neighborhood in Rome and arrested more than 1,000 people. Many hoped Pius XII might intervene in favor of the local Jews to prevent their deportation. He did not. That is why for Rome’s Jews, who still live and thrive around the same square where their parents and grandparents were rounded up, this is not only a matter of historical research, Rome Chief Rabbi Riccardo Di Segni told the Post.

“The Jews of Rome lived under the rule of the pope for centuries,” he said. “They got rid of it in 1870. But there was always a very peculiar relationship, which reached its dramatic culmination under the Nazi occupation.” Another 1,000 Jews were arrested in the months following the October 16 raid, he added.

“Over 2,000 people were deported from Rome, and, as it is well-known, the Vatican never protested,” Di Segni said. “At the same time, monasteries and convents opened their doors to Jews. The church’s behavior was ambiguous. This has caused very strong reactions among Roman Jews, leaving aside the question of what the pope did or failed to do during the Holocaust in general.”  Di Segni portrayed Pius XII as a “gray” figure.

“There are those who want to make him a saint and those who consider him a completely negative figure,” he said. “I think that his personality and story are very controversial, and gray is therefore the most suited color to describe him.”

However, Di Segni said a less discussed aspect of the pontificate of Pius XII has proven to be far more clear-cut: the pope’s attitude toward the Jewish people after the war and until his death in 1958, a period from which documents are also going to be made public by the Vatican.

“The problems around Pius XII did not end with the war,” he told the Post. “Afterwards, he acted in a way that revealed very little sympathy, if not hostility, towards the Jewish people in many circumstances. He did not allow the restitution of baptized Jewish children who had been hidden in convents, did not show any support for the foundation of the State of Israel, was not receptive to those in the church who were reconsidering the teaching of contempt against the Jews, nor to the idea of abolishing the expression ‘evil Jews’ from the liturgy.” READ MORE

MAGA Christian Nationalists Are Cheering As President Donald Trump Floats Absorbing Canada And Greenland Into A ‘Greater America’ dystopia

On social media this week, self-described MAGA Christian nationalists erupted in applause after Donald Trump once again floated the idea of bringing Greenland—and now even Canada—under the control of the United States. What once sounded like typical Trump negotiating bravado has begun to harden into something more ideological, and we dare say, more sinister: the vision of a ‘Greater America’. You’re hearing it here for the first time, but I promise you, it will soon be coming from official White House messaging. It was a bad idea when Hitler tried it, and it’s an even worse idea now.

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” Psalm 146:3 (KJB)

History is littered with grand national visions that promised security, restoration, and destiny through expansion. In the 20th century, Europe watched a similar dream unfold under the banner of a ‘Greater Germany’, complete with mythic language, strongman leadership, and the promise of national revival with global results. It did not end well. Yet online today, Trump’s rhetoric is not being met with caution, but celebration. How can this be, have we learned nothing from the past 100 years of human history? Evidentially not.

To his most ardent supporters, Trump is not merely a former president pushing boundaries. He is portrayed as a providential strongman—a Cyrus-like figure—who will restore American dominance, redraw borders, and impose order on a crumbling world. But Scripture issues a direct warning against placing hope in political saviors. Nevertheless, the louder the rhetoric becomes, the louder the applause grows. Canada is dismissed as ‘weak and unserious’. Greenland is spoken of as a ‘strategic prize’ waiting to be claimed. Critics are brushed aside as globalists, traitors, or faithless cowards. What is absent from the discussion is any appreciable amount of biblical discernment.

The Bible does not teach that America is a covenant nation. Nor does it authorize Christians in the Church Age to pursue national expansion as though it were God’s work. That calling belonged exclusively to Old Testament Israel under a theocratic covenant—not to the body of Christ. The 7 Mountains Mandate has nothing common with Pauline doctrine. Zero. In fact, we warned you back in 2024 before Trump’s re-election that the majority of his MAGA followers were Charismatic Christian Nationalists, but sadly, very few listened.

“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:” Philippians 3:20 (KJB)

The language surrounding this moment is becoming increasingly messianic, with political ambition framed as destiny. Territorial growth is spoken of as righteousness. Power itself is treated as proof of divine favor—despite the explicit rejection of that very mindset in scripture.

“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” John 18:36 (KJB)

The danger is not merely political enthusiasm—it is political idolatry. Scripture warns that as the end of the Church Age approaches, men will prefer fables over truth and charisma over doctrine.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3–4 (KJB)

A ‘Greater America’ may sound bold, reassuring, even patriotic. But the Bible reminds believers that our battle is not fought with borders, ballots, or brute force.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 (KJB)

Supporting a political candidate is one thing. Recasting him as a divinely appointed architect of national expansion is something else entirely. When Christians cheer the absorption of nations as though it were God’s redemptive plan, they have confused nationalism with Christianity—and power with providence.

America does not need to become greater in size. The Church does not need a strongman. And Jesus Christ does not need a human geopolitical empire to reign.

“No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” 2 Timothy 2:4 (KJB)

Even at this late hour, history whispers warnings for those willing to listen. Grand visions of national destiny have a way of demanding unquestioned loyalty, silencing dissent, and baptizing ambition in religious language. If you support Trump’s ‘Greater America’ just remember that history is against you every bit as much as the Bible is against you. The Bible calls believers to something a lot higher, something eternal. The answer has never been a Greater America. It has always been the gospel of Jesus Christ—rightly divided, faithfully preached, and boldly believed until He comes, and He’ll be here sooner than you think.
