We told you last year how Pope Pius XII worked to enable Adolf Hitler to carry out his demonic plan to kill the entire race of Jews in Europe. Not only that, Pope Pius XII also allowed Hitler to get rid of Germany’s Roman Catholic population as well. Hey Roman Catholics, how about them apples? Still think the pope, any pope, is the ‘vicar of Christ’?

The big con that the Vatican is currently trying to pull off is admitting yes, there have been abuses in the past but that’s not happening today. They are willing to admit to a little bit of ‘ecclesiastical transgression’ but that’s all in the past, so it doesn’t really matter. Flash-forward to 2020 where you have Pope Francis lying and covering up for pedophile priests while blessing the pagan Catholics in the Amazon and rubber stamping his approval on Gaia worship. Not only that, he changed the name of the Holy See Vatican Secret Archive to make its connection with the Nazis harder to spot.

That Pope Francis is a busy little bee, and when the Vatican releases the Pope Pius XII documents on March 2, I expect he’s only going to get busier.

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: For his critics, Pope Pius XII is a figure who repeatedly failed to take a strong stance against Hitler or in favor of the Jews. For his defenders, he was a spiritual leader who did his best to work silently to protect the Roman Catholic and to allow its representatives to operate in secret to help those in need.

The pope’s role vis-à-vis the Nazi and fascist regimes, and the extermination of Jews, have been at the center of many disputes over the years. These disputes have often transcended the borders of historical research.

Considering that some of the documents were previously made accessible, it remains to be seen whether the Vatican’s decision will help solve the controversy.

“I believe that the opening of the archive is a symbolic gesture, I doubt that it will bring significant changes to what is known,” Prof. Manuela Consonni, chair of Holocaust Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Department of Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry, told The Jerusalem Post. “I’m not saying that nothing interesting will come out of it,” she said. “I think we will find documents that will support better what we know about him.”

Consonni said part of the reason the church did not take a stronger stance against Nazism and fascism was that it felt more affinity with those regimes than with communism, which it considered a greater danger.

“I do not believe that Pius XII wanted the Jews to be annihilated,” she said. “He was silent because he was indifferent, because he was not so interested. Even if scholars were to discover that he secretly did more than what we know so far, this doesn’t change the situation: As pope, he should have raised his voice publicly. It was his moral duty.”

Iael Nidam-Orvieto, director of the International Institute for Holocaust Research at Yad Vashem, expressed satisfaction regarding the possibilities offered to researchers by the opening of the archives.

“All the research that has been carried out on Pius XII so far has been based on very limited documents, while historians did not have access to the main bulk of material,” she told the Post. “Therefore, we can say that our insight on such a controversial topic has been only partial. For this reason, I believe that this is a very important step.”

Nidam-Orvieto said it is going to take many years to reach a fuller picture. “Research is a long process,” she said. “We will have to wait and see. I also believe, like many others, that we are not going to find any revolutionary document,” she said. “I don’t think that history is made through such things, but instead through vast bulks of material that enable better understandings.”

The archives will allow historians to shed new light on issues such as the pope’s policies and strategies, Nidam-Orvieto said, and also his relationship with religious orders and emissaries in different countries and the situation in those countries.

“All of these topics are crucial, and new questions will be opened as well,” she said. “Pius XII is a controversial figure, and this is not going to disappear. But we are going to be much more knowledgeable.”

The question of how the pope acted during the Holocaust is not only important to scholars.

On October 16, 1943, the Nazis raided the Jewish neighborhood in Rome and arrested more than 1,000 people. Many hoped Pius XII might intervene in favor of the local Jews to prevent their deportation. He did not. That is why for Rome’s Jews, who still live and thrive around the same square where their parents and grandparents were rounded up, this is not only a matter of historical research, Rome Chief Rabbi Riccardo Di Segni told the Post.

“The Jews of Rome lived under the rule of the pope for centuries,” he said. “They got rid of it in 1870. But there was always a very peculiar relationship, which reached its dramatic culmination under the Nazi occupation.” Another 1,000 Jews were arrested in the months following the October 16 raid, he added.

“Over 2,000 people were deported from Rome, and, as it is well-known, the Vatican never protested,” Di Segni said. “At the same time, monasteries and convents opened their doors to Jews. The church’s behavior was ambiguous. This has caused very strong reactions among Roman Jews, leaving aside the question of what the pope did or failed to do during the Holocaust in general.”  Di Segni portrayed Pius XII as a “gray” figure.

“There are those who want to make him a saint and those who consider him a completely negative figure,” he said. “I think that his personality and story are very controversial, and gray is therefore the most suited color to describe him.”

However, Di Segni said a less discussed aspect of the pontificate of Pius XII has proven to be far more clear-cut: the pope’s attitude toward the Jewish people after the war and until his death in 1958, a period from which documents are also going to be made public by the Vatican.

“The problems around Pius XII did not end with the war,” he told the Post. “Afterwards, he acted in a way that revealed very little sympathy, if not hostility, towards the Jewish people in many circumstances. He did not allow the restitution of baptized Jewish children who had been hidden in convents, did not show any support for the foundation of the State of Israel, was not receptive to those in the church who were reconsidering the teaching of contempt against the Jews, nor to the idea of abolishing the expression ‘evil Jews’ from the liturgy.” READ MORE

On his Truth Social page, President Trump said “A big day for World Peace! Iran wants it to happen, they’ve had enough!… Likewise, so has everyone else! Just like we are experiencing in the U.S., this could be the Golden Age of the Middle East!!!” TACO Trump strikes again, leaving America noticeably weakened in the eyes of our enemies like Russia And China who now know Trump will back down at the critical moment.

America is talking like it won, but Iran is still ruling Iran, still controlling the Strait of Hormuz, still forcing the world to deal with it, and now possibly collecting massive transit money on top of it. That is not the profile of a regime on its back foot. That is the profile of a regime that took the punch, stayed on its feet, and is already looking for a way to profit from the next round. So yes, from a “fight another day” perspective, Iran won big. It survived. It kept the regime intact. It retained leverage over the world’s energy artery. And if these toll reports are even close to true, then Tehran is now making money off a ceasefire America needed after telling the world the war was already won. It was a black eye for Trump and a bad day for America.

TACO Trump Blinks On Iran, Backs Away From War Deadline And Hides Behind Two-Week Ceasefire Brokered At The Last Minute

Donald Trump spent the day talking like a wartime Caesar, threatening Iran with civilizational destruction if Tehran did not submit by his deadline. Then, just one hour before the clock ran out, he did what he so often does when the pressure gets real, he blinked. Multiple outlets reported Tuesday, April 7, 2026, that Trump accepted a two-week ceasefire arrangement tied to diplomacy and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, with Pakistan playing the central mediating role. Don’t get me wrong, I am glad there won’t be nuclear war tonight, I truly am. But I am saddened and embarrassed watching the pusillanimous flip-flopper Trump running his mouth only to make another meaningless deadline.

That is not iron resolve, that’s not Churchillian nerve. That is not the conduct of a man who means what he says. That is the now-familiar Trump cycle in full view: issue a threat big enough to shake markets and dominate headlines, pound the table, demand surrender, and then retreat into a “temporary pause” the moment the consequences of his own rhetoric begin to close in. AP reported Trump warning that a “whole civilization will die tonight,” while also noting the administration was pulled toward a two-week diplomatic off-ramp.

And that is exactly why the “TACO Trump” label keeps sticking to him like tar. “TACO” stands for “Trump Always Chickens Out,” a phrase that was coined by Financial Times columnist Robert Armstrong in the tariff context before spreading into the broader political culture. CBS and ABC both traced the acronym to Armstrong and explained its meaning the same way: Trump talks maximum toughness and then backs off before the final collision. What just happened illustrates that beautifully.

Now that same label fits this Iran episode like a glove. Trump wanted the political theater of a final ultimatum. He wanted the optics of a strongman standing on the brink of decisive action. He wanted the world to believe that midnight would bring fire. Instead, midnight brought another extension, another pause, another exit ramp, another reminder that Trump loves the language of confrontation more than the reality of it. The ceasefire was reached only hours before Trump’s own deadline for major military strikes.

Let’s say it plainly: you do not get to spend the afternoon threatening to wipe out a civilization and then spend the evening hiding behind a “double-sided ceasefire” without being called exactly what that looks like. It looks weak. It looks theatrical. It looks like a man addicted to brinkmanship but terrified of the bill coming due. Even AP’s more cautious live coverage still described the moment as Trump pulling back on his threats for two weeks, subject to Iran agreeing to terms.

To be fair on the facts, the surrounding details were still moving fast Tuesday night. Axios framed the ceasefire as agreed; AP emphasized Pakistan’s push for the delay; The Guardian described Trump as suspending the deadline rather than pressing forward immediately. But across those reports, the core point holds steady: Trump did not follow through on the thunder he had just unleashed. He backed away into a two-week pause. This latest Iran ceasefire does not make Trump look like a master strategist. It makes him look like what his critics have been saying all along: loud on the front end, slippery on the back end, and forever trying to pass off retreat as genius. He wanted to look like a lion, but he ended the day looking like TACO Trump once again.

Donald Trump’s latest Truth Social post is not the language of peace, prudence, or strength. It is the language of a man standing on the edge of a regional firestorm and talking like he is prepared to push the whole thing over the cliff. When a sitting president says, “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” after U.S. strikes had already hit more than 50 military targets on Kharg Island earlier in the day, that is not measured leadership. That is apocalyptic brinkmanship dressed up as strategy. That is World War Trump.

“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:” Daniel 2:21 (KJB)

We understand that according to Daniel 2:21, that is is God that sets up kings and removes kings, all to accomplish His will in an given dispensation. If we believe that, and we do, then we rightly understand that Donald Trump is God’s man “on the throne” for this time we find ourselves in right now. A period of time the Bible calls the last days. So everything we are watching now are events and situations that have prophecy stamped all over them, because it is time for the prophets to be fulfilled.

I have been saying for 10 years now that the whole reason why I voted for Donald Trump, all three times, was because I want very much for the end times timeline to be advanced. Trump is not doing it, God is doing it through Trump, and I agree with Isaiah that all this is a “strange act” and absolutely a “strange work” to behold. God has given America the president we deserve, amen? Amen.
