Now The End Begins To Partner With Good Child Missions In Uganda For A Second Year, Feeding Hungry Children In The Cup Of Porridge Program

Last year, Ugandan national Irad Biryomumesho reached out to us and asked if we might consider supporting an amazing outreach that the Lord put on his heart, a ministry called Good Child Missions. You see, food is scarce for many people in Uganda, and there are many children being brought to church on a Sunday with no food in their bellies. The Lord gave Irad a vision called the ‘Cup Of Porridge’ program, and we were thrilled to be a sponsor of it. This year we’re doing it again and invite you to help us!
“He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.” John 21:17 (KJB)
By his own testimony, Irad was a ‘lukewarm Laodicean’, that is until the Lord led him to Now The End Begins and our weekly King James Bible studies where he got wonderfully on fire for the cause of Christ. In fact, Irad is our first foreign national to go through the NTEB Bible program and then go into ministry. Last year, NTEB fully sponsored all 1,100 children from 6 local churches to be fed every Sunday before Church, and this year, Irad has on his heart to raise that number to 1,700 souls in 11 churches.

Cup Of Porridge
The Cup Of Porridge Program Has Begun Feeding Ugandan Children In Three Churches With Many Others Now Requesting To Have Their Kids Fed
God is using NTEB to enable foreign missionaries like Irad Birsch to minister to the children in Uganda with a cup of porridge and the gospel!
Our missionary in Uganda, Irad Birsch, wrote me the other day, with a praise report that has him, and me, smiling from ear to ear. He said “According to my today’s experience, children will increase and I will find the cup of porridge program feeding thousands and thousands of children. Some of the neighboring churches that heard about this, have already began sending in their requests, they want this in their churches as well. So pray for this program to have more support because the thing is gonna be so big.” Praise the Lord!

You’ve heard a lot about the Cup Of Porridge Program and Good Child Missions over the past few weeks, and so far it is exceeding our initial expectations. Feeding all these children every Sunday morning, filling their bellies so they will be open and attentive when the gospel is preached that day at church. DL Moody once said that it was like God had given him a lifeboat and said, “Moody, save all you can!” and that’s exactly how I feel as the Lord continues to put more and more on our plate. Our lifeboat is NTEB, and the Lord is using it mightily. There may be no national or international revival happening in our day, but there absolutely is at NTEB as thousands of people pray and support our various outreaches. I’ve waited a lifetime to be used of God at this level, and I am “all in” and pray that it not only continues but expands. I know that’s your prayer as well.

Free Bible Program
Today We Take A Massive Step Of Faith In Funding The ‘Cup Of Porridge Program’ In Uganda For A Year As Well As Sending Them Cases Of Bibles, Come Help Us!
Today we have partnered with Good Child Missions in Uganda, providing a daily cup of porridge for 1,100 precious children for a full year while Irad and Elizabeth Birsch teach them the gospel of the grace of God.
The global reach of Now The End Begins is massive, and at times it surprises even me, God has so very much enlarged our coasts as He did also for Jabez. A number of years ago, a young Christian in Uganda by the name of Irad Biryomumesho, or Irad Birsch as we know him in the chat room, started listening to our ‘Rightly Dividing’ King James Bible Broadcasts, and he got on fire for the Lord Jesus to get something done in Uganda. Irad is the handsome young man in the bottom right of the photo. A few moments ago, NTEB by faith sent funding for Irad’s ‘Cup Of Porridge’ Program, to feed 1,100 young Ugandan children, for a whole year, a much needed breakfast so they can have a full belly to be able to focus in church. I am wiping away tears as I write this, such is the goodness of God. Look at the young child in the photo holding the cup of porridge, add another 1,099 children to that, and this is what NTEB is doing for the next 12 months in Uganda. But the story doesn’t stop there.
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10 (KJB)
After joining the NTEB family, and spending quite a few years studying the Bible with us, God called Irad to start Good Child Missions in Uganda. Irad explained to me how great the poverty is there, and many children are prevented from attending church because their hunger simply overwhelms them. He asked me if NTEB could help support ‘Cup Of Porridge’, and after praying about it, the Lord told me to fund it for a whole year. So I did. Not only that, we are sending them Bibles, lots of Bibles, and working out the details right now. If you think it’s a worthy thing to help feed and minister the word to 1,100 precious souls in Uganda, then I invite you to help us do this.

We have taught Irad the King James Bible, and now he is stepping up onto the front lines of the end times himself, and getting something done for the Lord Jesus. (NTEB incredibly has an outpost in Uganda, led by a man trained up by this ministry, read Acts 13:1-3 and think about that). Funding the ‘Cup Of Porridge’ Program for one year is $3,362.00, and while I don’t have a final number on what it will cost to ship the Bibles all the way to Uganda, it won’t be cheap. All told, there won’t be much change back from right around $10,000 or so for the Bibles and ‘Cup Of Porridge’. Please pray for our efforts here, like I said I am commiting the funds before we have them because I believe with all my heart it’s what God would have us to do. Not only to support our brother Irad and his work for the Lord, but to directly impact the lives of all those kids who need the gospel as well as a cup of porridge.
