President Donald Trump’s name has been added to the sign on the United States Institute of Peace headquarters in downtown D.C., above the existing building name.

When a sitting president takes a taxpayer-funded, congressionally-chartered institution and renames it after himself, you are not witnessing humility — you are witnessing prophecy-level delusion. Yesterday, America watched as the United States Institute of Peace was rebranded the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace, a move that tells you far more about the times we’re living in than it does about Donald Trump.

The man who once threatened to “obliterate” nations at the press podium now calls himself the peace president, and the world applauds as if this were a normal development. But your King James Bible has something to say about men who come in their own name, and it’s not a compliment. Trump plastering his name on the Institute of Peace is not just branding — it’s conditioning. It is preparing a lost world to accept political messiahs who promise peace while consolidating power. The Bible tells us plainly that in the last days, before the coming time of Jacob’s trouble, peace will be the marketing tool of deceivers. America is not witnessing peace; we are witnessing the illusion of peace, manufactured for public consumption while geopolitical tensions simmer and prophetic currents pull the world toward its appointed end. Is Trump the Antichrist? I really don’t know the answer to that question anymore. Do you?

U.S. Institute of Peace renamed for Trump after his administration dismantled the agency

FROM NBC NEWS: The State Department’s X account shared a photo of the new facade on Wednesday in a post that called Trump “the greatest dealmaker in our nation’s history,“ an apparent reference to his work to end multiple conflicts around the world.

“President Trump will be remembered by history as the President of Peace. It’s time our State Department display that,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on X about the name change.

Trump participated in a signing ceremony at the newly renamed building Thursday to mark a peace agreement between the presidents of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo after meeting with them at the White House. Trump had also hosted them for a peace deal signing in June.

“Thank you for putting a certain name on that building,” Trump said at the Thursday event, noting the name-change. “I said, ‘Boy, that is beautiful.’ That blew up last night … that’s a great honor, it really is, on this building. It’s a great honor.”

The agency, which has been known as the U.S. Institute of Peace since Congress established it in 1984, has been embroiled in a legal battle over whether the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency had the power to dismantle it earlier this year. Most of the independent nonpartisan institution’s staff was let go in March. The institute’s mission has been to promote peace internationally and resolve violent conflicts. The research arm of Congress notes the agency has served “as an intermediary among foreign governments, civil society, and U.S. government officials” and “worked in conflict zones with national, regional, and community level stakeholders to connect top-down and bottom-up initiatives.”

An attorney for former leaders and staff of the institute denounced the Trump administration’s move to name the agency after the president in a statement Wednesday.

“Renaming the USIP building adds insult to injury,” said the lawyer, George Foote. “A federal judge has already ruled that the government’s armed takeover was illegal. That judgment is stayed while the government appeals, which is the only reason the government continues to control the building. The rightful owners will ultimately prevail and will restore the U.S. Institute of Peace and the building to their statutory purposes.” READ MORE

Abu Mohammad al-Jolani receives a hero’s welcome at White House as the red carpet is rolled out for the former Al-Qaeda commander as sanctions on Syria lifted

In one of the most prophetically charged moments in modern geopolitics, Donald Trump has opened the doors of the White House to Syrian strongman Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, the onetime head of Al-Qaeda’s Syrian branch. The same man who once had a $10 million bounty on his head has now been greeted as a world leader by America’s Commander-in-Chief. Sanctions totaling over $120 billion have been rescinded, and Syria finds itself back in the money again. What will they do with it? That’s the memo.

What the world calls diplomacy, Heaven calls delusion. President Trump, a man who has long styled himself as a deal-maker, is now attempting to make peace with one who has the blood of Christians and innocents on his hands — and yet the global elites hail it as progress. That, Christian, is how the end times begin to look in real time.

Just a few short years ago, the name Abu Mohammad al-Jolani was synonymous with terror, jihad, and Al-Qaeda’s campaign to establish a caliphate in Syria. Washington listed him among the most wanted terrorists on earth. Now, he’s walking the marbled halls of the White House, shaking hands with an American president.

How did we get here? The Department of State quietly lobbied the United Nations to lift sanctions against him. The Department of War has reportedly been exploring “security cooperation.” And the media, ever eager to rewrite the narrative, now calls him a “stabilizing influence.”

The last time Donald Trump was in office, he shocked the world by moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and brokering the Abraham Accords — deals that aligned Israel with Muslim nations like the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco. In trying to “make peace” with a man whose past is drenched in blood, he’s venturing into dangerous spiritual territory. Remember what the Lord said about the last-days confederation of nations:

The 42 million Americans who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will go without their benefits come Nov. 1 because of the government shutdown, according to a new message from the USDA

The Democrats are blaming the Republicans, and the Republicans are blaming the Democrats, and as usual, it’s the people in the middle who really need the help that are getting it in the neck. 42 million Americans is not a small number of people, that’s 12 percent of our entire country. I have always said, and still believe, that it is the job of the president in any administration to broker deals when both sides cannot agree, especially when it comes to food and health care needs.

“How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.” Revelation 18:7 (KJB)

Of course, the current optics of building a grand ballroom at the same time food stamp benefits are running dry is such a bad look. You would expect to see something like that in Russia or Cuba, certainly not in the United States. Yet, here we are. President Trump needs to stop using this shutdown as a political weapon, Schumer and the Democrats, too, and start acting like they really do have the best interests of the people at heart. Because it sure doesn’t look that way. History shows us that the people get very restless when threatened with food insecurity, and maybe that’s what the government is trying to do. This isn’t what a ‘Golden Age’ is supposed to look like. Is it?

SNAP benefits won’t go out Nov. 1. ‘The well has run dry,’ USDA says.

FROM USA TODAY: In recent weeks, the USDA – which oversees the program – warned that SNAP money for November could be in jeopardy if the shutdown continues. But in a prominent new message on its website as of Oct. 27, the USDA said no benefits will be issued on Nov. 1. SNAP, also known as food stamps, is a federal program that provides low-income families monthly benefits to afford healthy food.

Parts of the government effectively stopped operating Oct. 1 after lawmakers in Congress failed to agree on funding allocations for the 2026 fiscal year.

Health care policy remains a key sticking point in the shutdown for Democrats, who are pushing to reverse Republican cuts to the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid. Republicans have argued that heath care can be debated after the shutdown is over.

The USDA confirmed in a new message on its website that no SNAP benefits will be issued come Nov. 1.

“Bottom line, the well has run dry. At this time, there will be no benefits issued November 1,” the message reads, in part.

Echoing similar comments from Republicans and officials from President Donald Trump’s administration, the message pointed blame at Democratic lawmakers for the shutdown. The USDA is led by Trump appointee Brooke Rollins.

“We are approaching an inflection point for Senate Democrats,” the message said. “They can continue to hold out for healthcare for illegal aliens and gender mutilation procedures or reopen the government so mothers, babies, and the most vulnerable among us can receive critical nutrition assistance.” READ MORE
