All returnees from abroad can be required to wear an electronic bracelet to ensure that they isolate at home or to quarantine in a hotel, a bill approved by the Knesset on Wednesday stated, while the number of serious patients and the COVID-19 reproduction rate dropped to their lowest level in months.

I know that I am going to get huge pushback to this article where I compare the yellow star of Nazi Germany, that all Jews were required to wear, with the COVID Green Pass, and now, legislation passed today in Israel allowing returning Jews to be compelled to wear an electronic monitor. But hey, if the ankle bracelet fits, wear it.

When I was a kid growing up in North Jersey, we had some pretty heavy snowfalls, and my WWII vet father would make me and my 4 brothers go out and shovel our very long driveway. I was only around 7 or 8-years old, and just looking down that long, snow-covered driveway would make me want to go back to bed with exhaustion. But my very wise father would look at me and say “take little bites, and before you know it, you will be finished”. The Jews right now are working their way towards the time of Jacob’s trouble in ‘little bites’, but oh how those bites are accumulating. What is the Green Pass? It is excellent training for the upcoming, and mandatory, Mark of the Beast. Achtung Juden, achtung, those ‘little bites’ are adding up.

Coronavirus: Knesset okays electronic bracelet for returning Jews from abroad

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: The legislation passed authorized the government to decide that those who enter the country from abroad or from specific countries will need to choose between the two options, except for children under the age of 14 and other special humanitarian cases.

At the moment, all people entering the country are required to isolate, unless they present a vaccination or a recovery certificate issued by the Health Ministry. Those who got inoculated or recovered abroad can be released from the quarantine if they undergo a serological test to prove their level of antibodies. Electronic devices have already been used for the purpose of ensuring that people do not break the quarantine for several weeks on a voluntary basis.

According to the bill, the operation is carried out by private companies on behalf of the ministry. The information collected is stored in servers owned by the government but maintained by the companies and will be deleted at the end of the period if there is no report of infraction, or in no more than in 30 days.

The company will inform the authorities if the person appears to leave their house.

The bracelet cannot monitor any details about the person wearing it, except whether they are complying with their quarantine, SuperCom president and CEO Ordan Trabelsi told The Jerusalem Post ahead of the pilot program’s launch. Should the quarantine be violated, the devices won’t track any location, but will only alert authorities that the person has left the confined area they were supposed to remain through the duration of the quarantine. Also on Wednesday, serious cases in Israel dropped below 600 for the first time since December, according to the Health Ministry’s report.

Some 578 active patients are in severe condition, of whom 269 are in critical condition and 202 are intubated. The death toll stands at 6,051.

Meanwhile, some 1,472 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in Israel since Tuesday night, bringing the total number of active patients to just under 26,000. A total of 72,600 tests were taken and only 2.1% were positive, the lowest rate in Israel since December.

In the morning, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein announced that over four million Israeli citizens are eligible to receive the coronavirus green passport that grants entry to restaurants, gyms and theaters, and exempts holders from quarantine.

More than 5.4 million Israelis have received at least their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, while another million are eligible to be vaccinated, Edelstein said. READ MORE

The controversial California City ICE Immigration Detention Facility needs King James Bibles in Spanish due to ‘overwhelming’ requests from inmates

The California City Detention Facility in Kern County is set to become the largest immigration detention center in the state, with a capacity of 2,560 beds. It’s part of the Trump administration’s push for a massive expansion of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention nationally. Now we hear they need God’s preserved word in Spanish, and are overwhelmed with requests for it. Chaplain Ron wrote to say “since the time i started here in September requests for Spanish bibles have been overwhelmingly great. I am requesting as many as we can obtain, thank you!” That’s our cue.

“And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.” Zechariah 7:10 (KJB)

One of the most controversial government agencies is ICE, Immigrant Customs Enforcement, and rightly so when you consider the careless manner in which the now-deposed former DHS head Kristi Noem ran that agency. As an American, I agree that illegal immigration is a serious problem, and people here illegally need to either get legal or go. But as a Christian who very much wants to see lost people get saved, the opportunity to get Bibles into a high-level ICE detention center is a rare and exciting opportunity. We’ve done it before in Texas, and now the opportunity to do the same in California stands before us.
