Newspaper Says John Hagee Sides With The Gay Rights Movement In Texas On City Ordinance
Hagee said he changed course the next day, after meeting with Bernal and reviewing the changes with his attorney and the Justice Foundation, a conservative legal defense firm.

First Dual Covenant Theology, Now This
Pastor John Hagee holds to some curious doctrines. For example, he believes that Jews don’t need Jesus because they have the Abrahamic Covenant mentioned in Genesis 12. But he does believe that all non-Jews need Jesus to get saved. This heresy is known as “Dual Covenant Theology” which he lamely attempts to deny he teaches, but this video of his own handmade commercial shows otherwise. Now we read that he has changed his stance on a pro-LGBT ordinance being proposed by the San Antonio city council.
Interesting item: after Hagee got slammed on the front page for supporting this Pro-Gay ordinance, Hagee-supporter and Mormon Glenn Beck published a Hagee-crafted denial. So did he or didn’t he? Call the San Antonio paper and ask them! We only report the news, we don’t create it.
From MySanAntonio: Television evangelist and pastor John Hagee on Sunday told congregants — and a national and international audience watching live — that he no longer opposes a proposed ordinance that seeks to protect the rights of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people in San Antonio.

John Hagee teaches that “Jesus did not come to earth to be the Messiah”, and because of that Jews are not obligated to believe on Him to be saved.
He read a statement during his Cornerstone Church‘s two morning worship services Sunday, reflecting confidence in the latest version of the ordinance, which is expected to go before the City Council on Sept. 5. And he claimed credit for a key wording change that ended his opposition to the measure.
At issue was a clause that would have allowed the council to consider whether candidates for city boards and commissions had discriminated against gay and transgender people in “word or deed” — which opponents saw as an invitation to consider their socially conservative views on homosexuality.
The proposal’s author, Councilman Diego Bernal, removed that language July 25.
“All of the previous language that infringed upon the freedom of speech, the freedom of exercise of religion and the ability for people of faith to serve on City Council has been expunged,” Hagee told the Cornerstone audience, prompting a standing ovation at the first Sunday service.
Many of the other socially conservative local pastors and Christian business owners who raised objections to the original proposal remain opposed to the revised version.
The ordinance’s advocates contend it is an overdue update to protect a vulnerable class of people without negating the rights of others. It would add “gender identity” and “sexual orientation” to the city’s current anti-discrimination policy.
Hagee said he got the city attorney and Bernal to agree to the revisions in writing when they met Tuesday.
Though Bernal said he had made the revisions almost two weeks before that meeting, he said Sunday that the agreement and meeting with Hagee underscored the benefits of respectful dialogue.
“I was happy to share the changes with the pastor and his son,” Bernal said Sunday, referring to Mathew Hagee, the executive pastor at Cornerstone, who was also present.
“The ability to speak face to face about what the ordinance does and doesn’t do has proven to me time and time again to be the most effective method,” Bernal said.
Hagee said he had denounced the earlier draft through his church’s email network “weeks ago” and sent a letter to the council and mayor asking to discuss it. He spoke against it from the pulpit Aug. 4 and again on the nationally syndicated Glenn Beck talk show Aug. 5.
Hagee said he changed course the next day, after meeting with Bernal and reviewing the changes with his attorney and the Justice Foundation, a conservative legal defense firm.
Another lawyer working with a local network of pastors and business people to defeat the proposal said Sunday the revisions aren’t enough because the ordinance could still penalize firms and individuals for acting in accordance with their religion.
“No protection for people in how they speak and express their religious beliefs,” said Robert P. Wilson, an attorney for Alliance Defending Freedom. “On one hand, (the proposal) is promoting equality. On the other hand, it criminalizes religious convictions if a business does not operate according to the way the city says is” right.
Other megachurch leaders have responded in different ways to the draft ordinance.
Robert Emmitt, who heads the city’s largest congregation, Community Bible Church, contacted his council representative to object before the revisions were made but has not joined more vociferous opponents.
Oak Hills Church pastors didn’t campaign against it but its well-known staff minister, Max Lucado, met with Bernal last week and left with conclusions similar to Hagee’s.
The Archdiocese of San Antonio continues to study the wording and has not concluded its response, Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller said last week.
Bernal has met with a number of religious leaders, including Phil Sevila of the Texas Leadership Coalition, a Catholic lay organization.
While glad the “word or deed” phrasing is gone, Sevila said he will continue to oppose it.
“This type of ordinance is widely known around the country as resulting in reverse discrimination and so under no circumstances are we going to support it,” he said. “Will they look at Pastor Hagee‘s comments today? I don’t know. But this kind of incremental change does not make it acceptable.” source – MySanAntonio.com

CHRISLAM UPDATE: Pope Francis To Visit Egypt In Bid To ‘Pave The Way To Tolerance And Inter-Faith Relations’
Pope Francis hopes to mend ties with Muslims on his Chrislam trip to Egypt on Friday but faces criticism from church conservatives for meeting Islamic religious leaders.

Pope Francis hopes to mend ties with Muslims on his trip to Egypt on Friday but faces criticism from church conservatives for meeting Islamic religious leaders after a spate of deadly attacks against Christians.
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Amos 3:3 (KJV)
EDITOR’S NOTE: In an official video released by the Catholic EWTN channel, the Pope’s visit to Egypt is being billed as a “message of reconciliation from an ambassador of peace”. EWTN goes on to say that Pope Francis “goes to Egypt to pave the way to tolerance and inter-faith relations” in this Muslim majority nation. In a word, it’s Chrislam. In another word, it’s the One World Religion of Antichrist.
In a video message to the people of Egypt on Tuesday, Francis said the world had been “torn by blind violence, which has also afflicted the heart of the your dear land” and said he hoped his trip could help peace and inter-religious dialogue.
Security is a primary concern less than three weeks after 45 people were killed in attacks on Coptic Christian churches in Alexandria and Tanta, claimed by Islamic State, on Palm Sunday. But Francis has insisted on using an ordinary car during his 27 hours in Cairo, continuing his practice of shunning armored limousines in order to be closer to people.
Chrislam is brought to you via a joint effort between Rick Warren and Pope Francis:
The sheer unmitigated gall and audacity of Emergent Church heretic Rick Warren to claim to be speaking for Christians while he calls Pope Francis “our pope”. Christians don’t have a Pope, Catholics do. But when your mission is to merge the Laodicean Church with Islam, you need a “pope” somewhere there in the witches brew end times mix.
Francis will meet President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi; Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, the world’s most influential center of Sunni Islamic theology and learning; and Pope Tawadros II, head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, who barely escaped the Alexandria bombing. Sisi declared a three-month state of emergency after the attacks.
A main reason for the trip is to try to strengthen relations with the 1,000-year-old Azhar center that were cut by the Muslim side in 2011 over what it said were repeated insults of Islam by Francis’s predecessor, Pope Benedict.
Ties with the center were restored last year after Tayeb visited the Vatican. Tayeb, widely seen as one of the most moderate senior clerics in Egypt, has repeatedly condemned Islamic State and its practice of declaring others as apostates and infidels as a pretext for waging violent jihad.
Pope Francis Video Message to Egypt April 25th – 2017
The Vatican says that Francis, who denounces the idea of violence in God’s name, is convinced that Christian-Muslim dialogue is more important now than ever.
Papal aides say a moderate like Tayeb would be an important ally in condemning radical Islam.
In Tuesday’s message, Francis said he hoped the trip could bring “fraternity and reconciliation to all children of Abraham, particularly in the Islamic world, in which Egypt occupies a primary position” and “offer a valid contribution to inter-religious dialogue with the Islamic world”.
The pope’s views are not shared by all Catholics, however. Some conservatives say there should be no dialogue with Islam and that a “war of religion” is in progress.
Italian historian Roberto de Mattei said the Palm Sunday attacks should be “a brusque reality check for Pope Francis”.
Pope Francis in Egypt
The perpetrators were “not unbalanced or crazy but bearers of a religious vision that has been combating Christianity since the seventh century,” De Mattei, editor of the conservative monthly magazine Christian Roots, wrote in an editorial.
Novus Ordo Watch, an ultra-conservative Catholic blog, blasted the Vatican over the logo of the trip, which displays the Muslim crescent and the cross together, and derided the pope as “Mr. Coexist”.
A leading Catholic scholar of Islam, Egyptian-born Father Samir Khalil Samir, said that Francis meant well but was naive.
“I think his ignorance of Islam does not help dialogue. He has said often that we know that Islam is a religion of peace but this is simply a mistake,” Samir, who is based in Beirut, told reporters in Rome.
“We know there are certainly times of peace and a willingness for peace on the part of many Muslims but I can’t read the Koran and pretend that it is a book that is oriented towards peace,” he said.
The region has witnessed a massive exodus of Christians fleeing war and persecution in the past few decades, accelerated recently by the rise of Islamic State. Francis said in his message he hoped his visit could be a “consolation and … encouragement to all Christians in the Middle East”.
He will visit Cairo’s largest Coptic cathedral to pray for the 28 people killed in a Christmas season blast last year and lay flowers in their memory.
Rights activists are concerned about the pope’s meeting with President Sisi.
Sisi has sought to present himself as an indispensable bulwark against terrorism in the region, deflecting Western criticism that he has suppressed political opposition and human rights activists since he was elected in 2014.
Asked if the pope would raise human rights concerns, Vatican spokesman Greg Burke said Francis had made “trips more delicate than this one,” adding “let’s see what the pope has to say.” source

Hillsong Church Leader Christine Caine Proudly Admits To New Age Practice Of ‘Impartation’
Christine Caine, a Hillsong bible teacher and evangelist, was recently speaking at the same event as bible perverter Joyce “ye are little gods” Meyer. Caine laid hands on Joyce Meyer’s bible and speaking notes, and asked the universe to magically transfer the same (demonic) anointing that’s on Meyer to herself.

“Oh yes, I did lay my own hands on Joyce Meyer’s bible & teaching notes & prayed for an impartation of that teaching anointing & revelation.”
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” 2 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV)
One reason for the rapid growth of the Hillsong “church” corporation has been it’s willingness to make their church services indistinguishable from your average rock concert and laser light show. Start with 45 minutes of Christian rock “worship”, sprinkle a few minutes of heart-felt “easy believism” and “come get your blessings” emotional manipulation, close with using the Old Testament tithing command to the Jews only to drain their wallets, and viola! Thanks for coming to Hillsong, see you next week. But it doesn’t end there.
This is not Biblical Christianity, this is New Age spiritualism. Her exact words were:
““Oh yes, I did lay my own hands on @joycemeyer bible & teaching notes & prayed for an impartation of that teaching anointing & revelation. It was a privilege & honor to shadow her this past week. Far more is “caught” than is ever “taught” in life!” source Instagram
Now, in case you are not aware, this is more in line with witchcraft and spell casting then it is with old-fashioned Bible teaching. In fact, the idea that you can impart this sort of thing was tried in the book of Acts, and roundly rebuked.
“Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.” Acts 8:17-20 (KJV)
When Christine Caine Met Joyce Meyer:
Contrary to the Charismatic teaching that faith is more “caught than taught”, a real and abiding faith in God’s word comes from daily study of His word, as commanded in 2 Timothy 2:15, and then a prayerful application of what you have read and believed. If any Bible teacher that you listen to or follow is engaging in this type of New Age “christianity”, then you need to stop following that false teacher and get back to someone who will give you Bible doctrine.
The fact that Hillsong allows this type of quackery to go on within it’s church tells you everything you need to know about what and how they believe. I will close with this now-prophetic quote from the great 19th century preacher Charles Haddon Spurgeon, who saw this day coming:
“A time will come when instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, the church will have clowns entertaining the goats.” – C.H. Spurgeon
Amen, brother, though thou be dead you yet speaketh. Even so, come Lord Jesus.

Apostate Pastor Rob Bell Slams The Bible Says Gay Marriage In Churches ‘Moments Away’
“We’re moments away,” Rob Bell said. “I think culture is already there and the church will continue to be even more irrelevant when it quotes letters from 2,000 years ago as their best defense”

“The church will continue to be even more irrelevant when it quotes letters from 2,000 years ago as their best defense”
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV)
Former Mars Hill pastor and author Rob Bell, who skyrocketed to fame within the Laodicean Church with the Universalist, Anti-Hell best-seller called “Love Wins“, has now dropped the other shoe and come out (pun intended) firmly against the church and against the holy bible. He is unable to conceal his disdain for scripture with a blistering series of remarks against the authority of the bible, calling the pages of Holy Spirit-written scripture “irrelevant letters from 2,000 years ago.”
The prophesied end times attack on the Church from within the Church, as quoted in the scripture at the top of this article, is in full swing. Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, Rob Bell and all the other hundreds of Laodicean minions are hammering away at the foundations of the Church that Jesus Christ shed His Blood to create.
Rob Bell and his wife, Kristen, appeared on Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday, and reiterated their support for gay marriage across the church while promoting their new book, The Zimzum of Love: A New Way of Understanding Marriage.

“The zimzum of love is for anyone—gay or straight—who believes the world needs more love and sacrifice and commitment and marriage.” says Rob Bell.
“Loneliness is not good for the world. Whoever you are, gay or straight, it is totally normal, natural and healthy to want someone to go through life with,” Rob Bell tells Oprah. It’s central to our humanity. We want someone to go on the journey with.”
He adds that the church is built on community and adhering to Scriptures is “irrelevant.”
“We’re moments away,” Rob Bell said. “I think culture is already there and the church will continue to be even more irrelevant when it quotes letters from 2,000 years ago as their best defense, when you have in front of you flesh-and-blood people who are your brothers and sisters and aunts and uncles and co-workers and neighbors and they love each other and just want to go through life with someone.”
“There are churches who are moving forward and there are churches who are almost regressing and making it more of a battle,” Kristen Bell said.
The Bells explain their stance on same-sex marriage in Zimzum.
“The zimzum of love is for anyone—gay or straight—who believes the world needs more love and sacrifice and commitment and marriage. There’s a lot that’s broken and fractured in our world, and when two people love each [other] well, it creates space that isn’t broken but one, united, whole,” Rob Bell tells Religion News Service‘s Jonathan Merrit.
