U.S. President Donald Trump has made it clear what he wants: Greenland. But the Greenlanders who live there refuse to be subjugated by America and Manifest Destiny

Donald Trump is all over the news lately, talking about how he, one way or the other, will ‘get Greenland’. The people who live there said “The United States will not get Greenland. We do not belong to others. We decide our own future. We must not react with fear. We must react with calm, dignity and unity.” It would appear that the only way Trump will ‘get Greenland’ is by the use of military force, is that really where we are right now? It would appear to be so.

As of the date I am writing this, it is fairly unfathomable that Donald Trump will use military force to take control of Greenland, but after taking control of Venezuela and seizing their oil, it would seem that all bets are off and everything is on the table. Let’s see, when’s the last time the world watched an authoritarian leader going about and taking control of other sovereign nations while talking about peace and safety? It’s right on the tip of my tongue, if only I could remember.

What Greenland Wants And Why Trump Can’t Afford To Buy It

FROM FORBES: “We can give the people of Greenland way more money” than “the $60,000 per year per person” they get from the Danish government, Vice President JD Vance said in an interview on Newsmax on Thursday. But judging by a January poll of public opinion in Greenland, money is not the answer to what Greenland wants. And the more Trump and his team insist that the question of Greenland is about money, the harder they make it for themselves to win the Greenlanders over.

The same day JD Vance offered the Greenlanders ‘way more money’ than the Danish government, Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen held a press conference aboard the Danish Navy inspection ship Vaedderen in Nuuk, Greenland. Flanked by Greenland’s acting elected head of government Múte Borup Egede on the one side and the newly elected head of government Jens-Frederik Nielsen on the other, Frederiksen spoke directly to the American government in English, saying: “You cannot annex another country, not even with an argument about international security.”

For the U.S. government and media, the question of Greenland is about control, specifically whether Denmark or the United States should have control of the island. But for Greenlandic and Danish leaders, it is about Greenland’s past, present, and future, specifically what it takes for Greenland to succeed as an independent country.

“We don’t want to be Americans. No, we don’t want to be Danes. We want to be Greenlanders. And we want our own independence in the future. And we want to build our own country by ourselves,” said Jens-Frederik Nielsen, just before he was elected as Greenland’s new head of government in March.

In a joint statement, the Greenlandic leaders said, “We – all party leaders – cannot accept the repeated comments about annexation and control of Greenland.” And when Trump earlier this week said, “We’ll Get Greenland. Yeah, 100%,” Nielsen shared this statement on Facebook (translated from Danish):

“President Trump says that the United States will “get Greenland”. Let me be clear: The United States will not get Greenland. We do not belong to others. We decide our own future. We must not react with fear. We must react with calm, dignity and unity. And it is through these values ​​that we must clearly, distinctly and calmly show the American president that Greenland is ours. That was the case yesterday. That is the case today. Trump on Greenland: “Whether they like it or not”

President Trump gave what some consider his strongest remarks on Greenland and Denmark recently, saying “Whether they like it or not, the nice way or the difficult way” and mentioning that the US would need the territory so Russia and China would not take it. Greenland is controlled by Denmark, and is a NATO ally of the United States. Trump has been discussing military options and other ways to gain control of the world’s largest island.

Marco Rubio says the Trump administration on Wednesday will seek to assert its control over Venezuelan oil overseeing the sale of Venezuela’s petroleum worldwide.

Donald Trump is a one-man crusader to end narco-trafficking all by himself, with each boat they blew up saving 25,000 American lives with each strike. I’ll grant you, if true, that’s exciting stuff. But as Paul Harvey would say, “and now for the rest of the story.” Gone is all pretense of “ending narco-terrorism” and in its place an American oil orgy to the tune of 50 million barrels of the golden crude. And that’s just getting the party started.

US seeks to assert its control over Venezuelan oil with tanker seizures and sales worldwide

FROM THE ASSOCIATED PRESS: Trump’s administration intends to control the distribution of Venezuela’s oil products globally following its ouster of President Nicolás Maduro in a surprise nighttime raid. Besides the United States enforcing an existing oil embargo, the Energy Department says the “only oil transported in and out of Venezuela” will be through approved channels consistent with U.S. law and national security interests.

That level of control over the world’s largest proven reserves of crude oil could give the Trump administration a broader hold on oil supplies globally in ways that could enable it to influence prices. Both moves reflect the Republican administration’s determination to make good on its effort to control the next steps in Venezuela through its vast oil resources after Trump has pledged the U.S. will “run” the country.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio suggested that the oil taken from the sanctioned vessels seized in the North Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea would be sold as part of the deal announced by Trump on Tuesday under which Venezuela would provide up to 50 million barrels of oil to the U.S.

The Trump administration, meanwhile, is “selectively” removing sanctions to enable the shipping and sale of Venezuelan oil to markets worldwide, according to an outline of the policies published Wednesday by the Energy Department.

The sales are slated to begin immediately with 30 million to 50 million barrels of oil. The U.S. government said the sales “will continue indefinitely,” with the proceeds settling in U.S.-controlled accounts at “globally recognized banks.” The money would be disbursed to the U.S. and Venezuelan populations at the “discretion” of Trump’s government. The US seized a Venezuela-linked sanctioned oil tanker in the North Atlantic and a tanker in the Caribbean Sea on Wednesday — the latest seizures since beginning the campaign against Venezuela in early September. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said after a Trump administration briefing for senators that the U.S. has “tremendous leverage” over Venezuela and will control the proceeds from the sale of millions of barrels of oil to help stabilize the country.

Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller Says President Trump will make Greenland part of the United States to further its security interests

We warned you for the past two months that Donald Trump, on the pretext of fighting drugs, was going to take control of Venezuela to seize their oil reserves, that happened this past Saturday. Today we learned that Trump is going to make the American taxpayer foot the bill when he turns the whole thing over to Big Oil. But it gets worse. Breaking news tonight shows us Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller telling Jake Tapper on CNN that yes, Donald Trump is going to take Greenland.

Why does Trump want Greenland so badly? First, for its strategic importance given is close proximity to Russia. Second, Greenland and its territorial waters are believed to hold the equivalent of over 31 billion barrels of oil, more than the proven reserves of Qatar, Brazil and other major oil and gas powers. Trump has courted the oil industry with promises to “drill, baby, drill” — something that’s now effectively banned in Greenland, an autonomous region within the kingdom of Denmark that prizes its largely untouched environment. Third, Greenland is a storehouse of rare earth minerals, graphite, copper, nickel, gold, tungsten, uranium, Titanium-vanadium and others needed to satisfy the demand to fuel his 6G Memorandum and Stargate AI mandates. Greenland has these things, and Trump is going to take them and with military force if Greenland resists.

Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen is not treating it like a joke. She said Trump should be taken seriously, adding that if the U.S. attacks a NATO country, “everything stops.” Frederiksen warning that a U.S. takeover would mean the end of NATO as we’ve known it. “If the United States decides to militarily attack another NATO country, then everything would stop — that includes NATO and therefore post-World War II security,” Mette Frederiksen told Danish television network TV2.

Miller said that it is the, and I quote, “the official policy of the Trump administration to take Greenland and make it a part of the United States”. Donald Trump is not only doing regime change and nation building, but he is combining Manifest Destiny and the Monroe Doctrine to begin the conquest of other nations. If you were wondering when the actual ramp up to WWIII was going to start, I think it just did.
