A Charismatic New World Leader Appears From Nowhere And Takes Control Of Greece

His name is Alexis Tsipras, and it seems that he meets much of the criteria of the prophesied Antichrist. He has appeared out of nowhere in the last couple of years, almost magically.

A man has come on the international scene, and many who know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, are taking a hard look at him.

“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” Revelation 13:2 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: We are looking for Jesus Christ, and not the Antichrist. But when we discovered this new “mystery man” who from nowhere has taken rock-star control of Greece, is backed by George Soros, has formed alliance with Russia and is talking with Pope Francis about a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians. We thought you just might want to know about it.

His name is Alexis Tsipras, and it seems that he meets much of the criteria of the prophesied Antichrist. He was just elected as the Prime Minister of Greece. He is an atheist and a far left winger. His party in Greece is called SYRIZA. He has appeared out of nowhere in the last couple of years, almost magically. He has landed himself in a most precarious situation. Greece is broken. Is he the one to fix it, and also the EU which is struggling and groping at almost anything to revive Europe? All eyes are on this man.

On Sept 17, 2014 Mr. Tsipras met with Pope Francis at the Vatican. He was the first leader of a left-wing party that met the head of the Roman-Catholic church–ever. This is not surprising with this Pope, because he is rabidly ecumenical, and very “Green”, always talking about global warming and people harming the earth. It has been said that Tsipras and the Pope get along famously, and are in one accord. No problem that one claims to be the head of the “faithful” on this earth, and the other, a staunch atheist. Could it be that there are unseen circumstances, not being divulged to the public? I would say, assuredly so.

Terry James of Rapture Ready wrote a piece on the possibility of this man being the Antichrist, but he made strong point at the beginning of the piece, telling Christians that we should be looking for the glorious appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ to Rapture His church from this earth.

Antichrist Archetype Emerges

Any such leader rising suddenly and dramatically out of the very nucleus of what was ancient Rome justifiably raises the eyebrows of Bible prophecy students. The visible, physical reactions of those who have put him on his pedestal are quite interesting…glassy eyes filled with tears of joy, as they looked worshipfully at the man on whom they are hanging their hopes. He is a total atheist whose political roots are in socialism and communism. He remains un-married, but has cohabitated with his high school girlfriend for twenty years and they have one child.

Not only is he a wildly popular figure in Greece, but was elected unanimously to the SYRIZA a conglomerate of 13 far left radical groups. Alexis Tsipras sworn into office takes Civil Oath

“Alexis Tsipras, who was sworn in earlier this week as the new Prime Minister of Greece, has become his country’s first openly atheist leader. A survey noted that atheist leaders in Europe are becoming more prominent, with France and Croatia also being led by non-religious figures.

Tsipras was sworn in on Monday after his Syriza party won the elections in Greece, but he chose not to take a religious oath at the ceremony. Reuters noted that Tsipras, whose left-wing party has opposed austerity measures, broke from tradition when he decided to take a civil, rather than a biblical oath.” [3] – source

He is the first leader of Greece to refuse to take a religious oath on the Bible in the history of the country.

Tsipras has met with Pope Francis to discuss a peace treaty with Israel:

Tsipras said: “Even though we started from different points, ideological points, we believe we have common positions in the principles of solidarity, in the principles of justice, peace and cohesion.”

“We agreed on the need to continue the dialogue between the European left and the Christian church,” he said. “There is a need to create an ecumenical alliance against poverty, inequalities, against the logic that markets and profits are above people.”” – Alexis Tsipras in meeting with Pope Francis

The Pope and the new Greek leader also discussed climate change. Pope Francis is open to everyone, well almost everyone. He embraces the Atheist, the Wiccan, really any beliefs are fine with him, as long as social justice is addressed and a common hatred of Capitalism is quite important.

Think of how the bible describes the character and nature of the Antichrist, while you read the following quote from Alexis Tsipras official website:

Finally, we agreed that the dialogue between the Left and the Christian Church must go on. Alexis Tsipras as the Antichrist? Pope Francis as the False Prophet? It certainly is pretty interesting, wouldn’t you say?

George Soros backs Alexis Tsipras

“The Guardian featured an article today about George Soros and the opening of his “Solidarity Center” in Thessaloniki, Greece, the first of many he plans to open in order to help Greeks who were hit the worst by the economic crisis.”

Prophecy pastor JD Farag in Hawaii talking about this ground-breaking NTEB original story:

You see, it is a hobby of Mr. Soros to take his billions of dollars and play politics. He groomed Barack Obama for his entrance onto the world stage. He is part of the New World Order (Illuminati). He is probably one of the most evil people who ever walked the earth. Strong statement – I know. But how about Hitler? Of course, Hitler was incredibly evil. But did you know what George Soros did in Germany during the Holocaust? He was a teen and from a billionaire father. He was a Jew, but to save his own life, he turned in his fellow Jews to be loaded on the trains, heading for their deaths. He is unrepentant of these deeds – he says there is nothing to be sorry about.

Isn’t it interesting that the pre-elections took place in Thessaloniki (Thessalonica from the Bible) and now Mr. Soros has established his Solidarity Center in that same city? One thing I find fascinating is that in the Bible, the Antichrist was spoken of in much detail by the Apostle Paul in the book of 2 Thessalonians 2:

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

There are no coincidences with our God.

“According to the article Aliki Mouriki, a sociologist of the Greek National Center for Social Research said: “Greece, to a great degree, has become a failed state. It is unable to provide basic facilities for its citizens because of budget cuts. In the absence of public welfare, and with around one and a half million officially unemployed, growing numbers are looking for substitutes elsewhere.”

Last year, George Soros had offered Greek institutions 1 million dollars to buy heating oil, after mayors in different Greek municipalities requested help. “It had got to the point where some of the schools had not a drop of oil left. This month we got 20,000 tons from Soros and it has really helped. The government has now promised an extra four million euros but we have yet to see it,” said the mayor of Naoussa in Northern Greece.

George Soros has donated money for heating oil to approximately 190 Greek institutions such as orphanages, schools, nurseries and homes of the elderly and is planning to open “Solidarity Centers” around Greece. The first one opened in Thessaloniki just a few days ago and is already filled with applications.

George Soros’ philanthropy has been the subject of a great controversy. Parents’ associations all over Greece are refusing donations because they are suspicious of his motives. Yiannis Boutaris, mayor of Thessaloniki responded saying “Why Soros gives money to Thessaloniki or other Greek regions, or even to NGOs to help vulnerable groups, should not be the centre of attention. It is the fact that Greek tycoons, shipowners and those from the diaspora don’t follow his example.”[4]

Russia is looking to make an ally within its biggest enemy – Greece

The plot is beginning to thicken.

Greece’s defense minister was invited to Moscow to meet Sergei Shoygu, his Russian counterpart, in the near future. Greece is part of the 28 members of NATO. Russia has always regarded NATO is its biggest threat. Now, Russia appears to have a newfound interest in establishing a relationship with Greece’s defense minister. On Tuesday Kammenos met with both the US and Russian ambassadors to Greece.

“The discussion with the ambassador of Russia, Mr. Maslov, was also about the pending agreements between the Ministries of National Defence of Greece and Russia, the capabilities of a strategic cooperation, the organisation of the year of Greek-Russian friendship in 2016 which will take place in Greece and in Russia. I received an invitation by Russia’s Minister of Defence to visit Moscow within the next period of time,” Kammenos wrote on Greece’s Ministry of National Defense website.” [5] – source

The new Greek government at times has been critical of both the EU and NATO. Tsipras has spoken of withdrawing from NATO.

“On Nato, Syriza describes its approach as a ‘multi-dimensional, pro-peace foreign policy for Greece, with no involvement in wars or military plans.’ It seeks ‘the re-foundation of Europe away from artificial divisions and Cold War alliances such as Nato.’ … Last year on Syriza MP called for Greece to leave Nato altogether, though the comments were rapidly played down by senior officials,” writes BBC.

“The new Greek government is cause for concern, especially because Tsipras has voiced his opposition to NATO membership in the past,” Ian Bremmer told Business Insider last week. “And his early actions — these comments regarding sanctions, as well as his meeting with the Russian ambassador to Greece without hours of taking office — demonstrates that he is willing to engage differently with Moscow.”

It Was Just Like Obama’s First Election Night!”

Already there are comparisons between Tsipras and Obama. The adoring crowds. The rock star status. The people really don’t know much about their new PM. Sound familiar?

They know that Tsipras met his partner, and mother of his kids, in high school, when they both joined Student’s for Communism.

I have been digging into the Internet, attempting to find everything I can about Alexis Tsipras. What I am about to tell you will probably shock you as it did me. I want to stress that I have found this information on different Greek sites (translated of course) and it by no means proves that this is true. But if it is, then I do think that we “may” be looking at the Wicked (as the Bible calls him).

As Trump’s Poll Numbers Collapse And MAGA Voters Walk Away, The Shuttering Trump Superstore Becomes The Perfect Metaphor For A Presidency Built On Broken Promises

Sometimes a single photograph tells the entire story. Standing beside Interstate 40 in Tennessee is a giant red banner announcing that the Trump Superstore is “GOING OUT OF BUSINESS,” with everything marked down 50 percent. It is more than the closing of another roadside novelty shop, far from it. It’s the Trump presidency in one brutally honest picture. Our 16th president Abraham Lincoln is credited with saying “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time”. Trump’s ‘moment in the sun’ appears to be darkening into night, and that’s bad news for the American people as our national ship becomes rudderless.

For two years, the Trump Superstore operated as a roadside shrine to the MAGA movement, overflowing with Trump hats, Trump flags, Trump shirts, Trump statues and seemingly every imaginable product capable of carrying the Trump name. During the movement’s high-water mark, people were reportedly lined up outside the door. Today, the merchandise is sitting unwanted on the shelves while the owner desperately attempts to liquidate it.

Owner Bill Hays finally admitted that the store is closing because of a “lack of business.” His employee was even more direct: “We’re not busy anymore.” He described Trump’s popularity as “dwindling, dwindling, dwindling.” That isn’t some fake news Democratic propaganda or liberal media speculation. That assessment came from inside the Trump Superstore itself. The Trump brand is now on clearance, and that makes this store the perfect metaphor for the rapidly collapsing Trump presidency.

The latest Reuters/Ipsos polling places Trump’s approval rating at just 33 percent, with 64 percent disapproving. That is the lowest rating of his current presidency and ties the lowest Ipsos rating of his first term. He returned to Washington with nearly half the country approving of him; now only one-third remains. Even Republican support is cracking: recent Economist/YouGov polling placed his approval among Republicans at 79 percent, down 12 points from January 2025, while those who “strongly approve” have fallen from 68 percent to 48 percent. Those numbers are not collapsing because Americans suddenly developed an aversion to red hats. They are collapsing because millions of people who voted for Trump are discovering that slogans do not pay electric bills, campaign rallies do not fill grocery carts, and promises of prosperity do not lower the price displayed on the gasoline pump.

As of August 18, the national average for regular gasoline is approximately $4.07 per gallon—nearly 93 cents higher than one year ago.

Grocery prices remain painfully elevated as well. The latest Bureau of Labor Statistics report shows food-at-home prices rising another 2.7 percent over the previous year, with fruits and vegetables up 5.1 percent and nonalcoholic beverages up 4.1 percent. Overall consumer prices are 3.4 percent higher. AP-NORC found that 41 percent of American adults are extremely or very concerned about affording groceries, while most households report changing how they shop—buying generic products, abandoning certain items and cutting restaurant spending simply to cover basic necessities. That is the political reality behind the empty Trump Superstore.

MAGA voters were promised lower prices, cheap energy, restored prosperity and an end to endless foreign wars. Instead, they received four-dollar gasoline, stubbornly expensive groceries, another widening Middle Eastern conflict and a president who increasingly seems unable—or unwilling—to understand why his own supporters are angry. People did not buy Trump merchandise merely because they needed another polyester shirt. They bought it because it represented something. It was a declaration of faith in the political promise that Trump would restore the country, drain the swamp, break the globalist system and put the forgotten American worker first. But when belief in the promise disappears, the merchandise becomes clutter.

A $30 Trump hat looks considerably less attractive when gasoline costs more than $4 per gallon. A Trump flag becomes difficult to justify when the grocery bill keeps climbing. A gold-painted Trump statue becomes an absurd luxury when working families are deciding whether to purchase food or place the electric bill on a credit card. The Trump Superstore did not run out of Trump merchandise. It ran out of people willing to believe that owning it still meant something.

There is also a spiritual lesson here for Bible believers. Far too many Christians transformed Donald Trump from a political candidate into some sort of messianic personality. MAGA rallies began resembling religious revivals, political slogans displaced biblical discernment, and any criticism of Trump was treated as an act of apostasy. But Donald Trump is not Jesus Christ. MAGA is not the Church. America is not Israel, and no occupant of the White House can save a nation that has rejected the Book, the blood and the blessed hope.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” Proverbs 19:2 (KJB)

The Bible warns us plainly, but millions preferred the red hat to the old Book. Now the political merchandise is gathering dust and the movement built around it is discovering that personality cults cannot indefinitely survive broken promises and economic pain. This is not an endorsement of the Democrats, whose godless agenda remains every bit as wicked and destructive as it has always been. It is a warning against turning any politician into a saviour and then refusing to acknowledge reality when his promises collapse. The giant “GOING OUT OF BUSINESS” banner outside the Trump Superstore could just as easily be hanging over the Trump presidency. The excitement is disappearing, the crowds are shrinking, even Republican loyalty is weakening. The polling is collapsing, and the merchandise that once symbolized a political revolution is being dumped at half price.

Trump successfully sold MAGA America a golden age, but it turned out to be a golden age bill of goods. . What his supporters received were higher bills, expensive gasoline, costly groceries and another war. Now they are walking away from the merchandise because they are walking away from the illusion. The Trump Superstore is closing because the customers have disappeared. Unless something changes dramatically, history may record that its massive liquidation banner became the perfect political obituary for the rapidly failing Trump presidency:

GOING OUT OF BUSINESS—EVERYTHING MUST GO. BYE, BYE, MISS AMERICAN PIE.

On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, long before COVID-19, the United States government was pouring money into Moderna’s experimental mRNA platform. DARPA awarded Moderna as much as $25 million in 2013 to develop mRNA medicines capable of responding rapidly to natural and engineered biological threats. BARDA later committed money to Moderna’s Zika program before providing a maximum award of $1.4 billion to advance its COVID vaccine through clinical development and FDA licensure. Moderna’s own federal filings acknowledge that its COVID vaccine was developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases—the agency directed by Anthony Fauci from 1984 through 2022. The government was not standing outside Moderna’s laboratory waiting to evaluate a privately developed product. Government scientists participated in its development. Government agencies funded the trials. The government financed manufacturing. The government purchased the doses. Government officials promoted the injections, and government policies created demand. Federal liability protections shielded the manufacturers. This was not a normal relationship between a government regulator and a private pharmaceutical company. This was an integrated government/corporate MAFIA-style operation.

This was never simply the story of one vaccine or one pharmaceutical company. It’s the all-too true story of what happens when government, medicine, secret military research, corporate profit, media propaganda and emergency authority merge into a single apparatus. It is literally the greatest scandal in American history, and the most deadly coordinated global attack ever conceived and carried out.

Trump’s Operation Warp Speed supplied the money, military organization and unprecedented acceleration.
Fauci and NIAID supplied the scientific partnership, institutional authority and public-health messaging.
Moderna supplied the commercial product and collected billions in revenue.
Biden supplied the mandates, employment pressure and federal enforcement.
The media portrayed questioning as dangerous misinformation.
The pharmaceutical companies received sky-high profits and liability protection.

What did the American people get? Plenty. We received endlessly-shifting bogus guidance, arbitrary restrictions, economic devastation, coerced medical decisions and endless demands to trust officials who repeatedly resisted scrutiny. People who dared to oppose the Moderna machine were blocked, censored, ridiculed and deplatformed. When it was all over and the dust settled, not a single person in government took responsibility for their actions. Delay, Deny, Defend. The Great White Throne Is Coming, the Books Will Be Opened, and Every Sinner Without Jesus Christ Will Face the Second Death With No Hope of Deliverance or Escape

The Great White Throne Judgment is the last courtroom, the final reckoning and the ultimate point of no return for the unsaved dead. Everyone standing there has already rejected God’s salvation, and no one will leave that throne justified. The books will be opened, every hidden work exposed and every excuse stripped away as sinners are judged according to their works. Death and hell will surrender their prisoners, proving that hell is not the final destination but the temporary holding place of the lost until judgment. After sentencing, they will be cast into the lake of fire, which the Bible calls the second death. There will be no advocate, no appeal, no repentance and no second chance—only the righteous judgment of a HOLY God. This will be the point of no return.

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.” Revelation 20:11 (KJB)

This terrifying reality is why we preach the gospel of the grace of God with urgency. During this present Church Age, salvation is freely offered to every sinner who will place his faith in the shed blood, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are not attempting merely to improve society, reform human behavior or make people more religious; we are warning souls to flee from the wrath to come. Every gospel tract, street sermon, missionary journey and personal witness is an opportunity to reach someone before death closes the door forever. The Great White Throne reminds the saved that evangelism is not optional religious activity—it is an urgent rescue mission. The time to believe is now, because there will be no gospel invitation given when the books are opened.

The Point Of No Return

I. This Is the Final Judgment of the Unsaved Dead

The Great White Throne takes place after the thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ. It must not be confused with the Judgment Seat of Christ, where saved members of the Body of Christ have their service examined for reward.

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” 2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJB)

The people standing before the Great White Throne are called “the dead.” These are the lost dead of every generation, resurrected to receive their final judgment.

“Small and great” means that earthly position will mean nothing.
Kings will stand beside beggars.
Religious leaders will stand beside atheists.
The famous will stand beside the forgotten.
Every Christ-rejecting sinner will stand personally before God.

Death is not the end. Every lost person will eventually stand before the Lord Jesus Christ. This doctrine is declared in both Testaments.

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.” Isaiah 45:22,23 (KJB)

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11 (KJB)

II. There Will Be No Place to Hide

The earth and heaven flee from the face of the One sitting upon the throne. The condemned sinner will have nowhere to run, nowhere to hide and no one behind whom he can conceal himself.

“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” Proverbs 15:3 (KJB)

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” Hebrews 4:11,12 (KJB)

At this judgment there will be:

No defense attorney.
No excuse accepted.
No plea bargain offered.
No opportunity for repentance.
No second chance to believe the gospel.
No appeal from the sentence.

The Great White Throne is the final point of no return.

III. The Books Will Be Opened

“And the books were opened” shows that God maintains a perfect and complete record. Nothing has been forgotten, overlooked or erased. None of it.

Those books contain the record of every:

Sin committed.
Lie spoken.
Evil thought entertained.
Opportunity rejected.
Gospel invitation refused.
Work performed in rebellion against God.

People may hide their sins from family, government, employers and churches, but no one can hide anything from God. All their sin will be paid for, and must be paid for, by themselves for eternity in the Lake of Fire.

IV. The Book of Life Will Be Opened

Alongside the books of works, God opens “the book of life.” This book settles the eternal question. The books demonstrate the sinner’s guilt. The book of life reveals that the sinner never received God’s salvation. The final issue is not whether someone performed religious works, joined a church, received baptism or tried to live a moral life. The determining issue is whether that person belonged to Jesus Christ.

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15 (KJB)

No one standing at the Great White Throne will be justified by works. Their works will determine the measure of their judgment, but works cannot produce salvation. We are all born in the image of Adam, and only the New Birth can, and will, fix that!

“And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:” Genesis 5:3 (KJB)

“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:7 (KJB)

V. Hell Will Deliver Up Its Dead

“And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.” Revelation 20:13 (KJB)

Hell is not the final destination of the lost. It is the present place of conscious punishment where the lost dead await final judgment. At the Great White Throne, hell will surrender its inhabitants. They will be bodily resurrected, brought before God, judged and cast into the lake of fire.

The biblical order is:

The lost person dies.
The soul goes to hell.
The lost dead are resurrected.
They stand before the Great White Throne.
They are judged according to their works.
They are cast into the lake of fire.

VI. The Lake of Fire Is the Second Death

“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” Revelation 20:14 (KJB)

The first death separates the soul from the body. The second death is eternal separation from God in the lake of fire.

The second death is:

Conscious.
Final.
Irreversible.
Eternal.
The righteous judgment of God against sin.

The lake of fire was not invented by medieval religion. It is the unmistakable teaching of the word of God. Jesus Christ warned about it, and Revelation identifies it as the final destination of everyone whose name is not found in the book of life. In our day, Laodiceans like Kirk Cameron, Rob Bell, John Stott, Brandan Robertson, David Bentley Hart and many others all preach either a universalism salvation or annihilationism, instead of what the word of God so clearly proclaims to be true about the place called Hell.

“We think of God as a just God, he is a just God and we believe that the punishment should fit the crime. Exactly, and so, if the punishment was cruel and unusual punishment that went far beyond the severity of the crime, that would no longer be just. After 10,000 years of anguish and pain and torment and darkness, you’re not one day closer to finding relief. You’re not even one second closer after a billion years. You’re not one second closer to the end.” – Kirk Cameron

What Cameron overlooks is that the sinner has sinned against a righteous and holy ETERNAL God who never dies, so the punishment must be eternal. Cameron’s estimation of who God is is far too small, so he rejects eternal conscious torment as the Bible teaches.

VII. This Is Why We Preach the Gospel of Grace

The Great White Throne explains the urgency of evangelism. We do not preach merely to improve people’s temporary lives. We preach because lost souls are heading toward an eternal judgment from which there will be no escape.

The gospel for the Church Age is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ:

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4 (KJB)

Salvation is not found through human works, religious rituals or personal goodness. It is received by believing the gospel and trusting the finished work of Jesus Christ.

This is the ministry committed to the apostle Paul:

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24 (KJB)

Death will no longer threaten us:

“The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” 1 Corinthians 15:26 (KJB)

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-57 (KJB)

Application

To the Saved

Remember what Jesus Christ saved you from. Keep it personal.
Stop treating salvation casually, it’s literally life or death.
Pray for lost family members and friends.
Support missionaries and gospel-preaching ministries.
Hand out tracts, witness publicly and preach the gospel plainly.
Never substitute politics, social reform or religious activity for the gospel.

To the Preacher

Preach the whole counsel of God. Tell people about the love of God, but do not hide the wrath of God. Preach heaven, but also warn about hell and the lake of fire. A preacher who refuses to warn sinners about judgment is not showing compassion. Biblical compassion tells people the truth while there is still time to be saved.

“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” Hebrews 13:17 (KJB)

“My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.” James 3:1 (KJB)

To the Lost

You are not promised another opportunity. You may dismiss the gospel today, but you will not dismiss the Judge at the Great White Throne.

“For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2 (KJB)

Do not trust your works, church membership, baptism, morality or sincerity. Trust the shed blood and finished work of Jesus Christ.

Closing Challenge

The Great White Throne is coming. The books will be opened. Every lost sinner will be found guilty, and everyone whose name is not found in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire.

For the saved, the question is: Whom are you warning?

For the preacher, the question is: Are you still preaching the gospel plainly?

For the lost, the question is: Will you trust Jesus Christ now, or meet Him later as your Judge?

There will be no gospel invitation at the Great White Throne. There will be no altar call, no opportunity to repent and no second chance to believe. The time to be saved is now.

The war is REAL, the battle HOT, and the time is SHORT…to the FIGHT!!!
