His name is Alexis Tsipras, and it seems that he meets much of the criteria of the prophesied Antichrist. He has appeared out of nowhere in the last couple of years, almost magically.

A man has come on the international scene, and many who know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, are taking a hard look at him.

“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” Revelation 13:2 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: We are looking for Jesus Christ, and not the Antichrist. But when we discovered this new “mystery man” who from nowhere has taken rock-star control of Greece, is backed by George Soros, has formed alliance with Russia and is talking with Pope Francis about a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians. We thought you just might want to know about it.

His name is Alexis Tsipras, and it seems that he meets much of the criteria of the prophesied Antichrist. He was just elected as the Prime Minister of Greece. He is an atheist and a far left winger. His party in Greece is called SYRIZA. He has appeared out of nowhere in the last couple of years, almost magically. He has landed himself in a most precarious situation. Greece is broken. Is he the one to fix it, and also the EU which is struggling and groping at almost anything to revive Europe? All eyes are on this man.

On Sept 17, 2014 Mr. Tsipras met with Pope Francis at the Vatican. He was the first leader of a left-wing party that met the head of the Roman-Catholic church–ever. This is not surprising with this Pope, because he is rabidly ecumenical, and very “Green”, always talking about global warming and people harming the earth. It has been said that Tsipras and the Pope get along famously, and are in one accord. No problem that one claims to be the head of the “faithful” on this earth, and the other, a staunch atheist. Could it be that there are unseen circumstances, not being divulged to the public? I would say, assuredly so.

Terry James of Rapture Ready wrote a piece on the possibility of this man being the Antichrist, but he made strong point at the beginning of the piece, telling Christians that we should be looking for the glorious appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ to Rapture His church from this earth.

Antichrist Archetype Emerges

He is a total atheist whose political roots are in socialism and communism. He remains un-married, but has cohabitated with his high school girlfriend for twenty years and they have one child.

Not only is he a wildly popular figure in Greece, but was elected unanimously to the SYRIZA a conglomerate of 13 far left radical groups. Alexis Tsipras sworn into office takes Civil Oath

“Alexis Tsipras, who was sworn in earlier this week as the new Prime Minister of Greece, has become his country’s first openly atheist leader. A survey noted that atheist leaders in Europe are becoming more prominent, with France and Croatia also being led by non-religious figures.

Tsipras was sworn in on Monday after his Syriza party won the elections in Greece, but he chose not to take a religious oath at the ceremony. Reuters noted that Tsipras, whose left-wing party has opposed austerity measures, broke from tradition when he decided to take a civil, rather than a biblical oath.” [3] – source

He is the first leader of Greece to refuse to take a religious oath on the Bible in the history of the country.

Tsipras has met with Pope Francis to discuss a peace treaty with Israel:

Tsipras said: “Even though we started from different points, ideological points, we believe we have common positions in the principles of solidarity, in the principles of justice, peace and cohesion.”

“We agreed on the need to continue the dialogue between the European left and the Christian church,” he said. “There is a need to create an ecumenical alliance against poverty, inequalities, against the logic that markets and profits are above people.”” – Alexis Tsipras in meeting with Pope Francis

The Pope and the new Greek leader also discussed climate change. Pope Francis is open to everyone, well almost everyone. He embraces the Atheist, the Wiccan, really any beliefs are fine with him, as long as social justice is addressed and a common hatred of Capitalism is quite important.

Think of how the bible describes the character and nature of the Antichrist, while you read the following quote from Alexis Tsipras official website:

Alexis Tsipras as the Antichrist? Pope Francis as the False Prophet? It certainly is pretty interesting, wouldn’t you say?

George Soros backs Alexis Tsipras

“The Guardian featured an article today about George Soros and the opening of his “Solidarity Center” in Thessaloniki, Greece, the first of many he plans to open in order to help Greeks who were hit the worst by the economic crisis.”

Prophecy pastor JD Farag in Hawaii talking about this ground-breaking NTEB original story:

You see, it is a hobby of Mr. Soros to take his billions of dollars and play politics. He groomed Barack Obama for his entrance onto the world stage. He is part of the New World Order (Illuminati). He is probably one of the most evil people who ever walked the earth. Strong statement – I know. But how about Hitler? Of course, Hitler was incredibly evil. But did you know what George Soros did in Germany during the Holocaust? He was a teen and from a billionaire father. He was a Jew, but to save his own life, he turned in his fellow Jews to be loaded on the trains, heading for their deaths. He is unrepentant of these deeds – he says there is nothing to be sorry about.

Isn’t it interesting that the pre-elections took place in Thessaloniki (Thessalonica from the Bible) and now Mr. Soros has established his Solidarity Center in that same city? One thing I find fascinating is that in the Bible, the Antichrist was spoken of in much detail by the Apostle Paul in the book of 2 Thessalonians 2:

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

There are no coincidences with our God.

“According to the article Aliki Mouriki, a sociologist of the Greek National Center for Social Research said: “Greece, to a great degree, has become a failed state. It is unable to provide basic facilities for its citizens because of budget cuts. In the absence of public welfare, and with around one and a half million officially unemployed, growing numbers are looking for substitutes elsewhere.”

Last year, George Soros had offered Greek institutions 1 million dollars to buy heating oil, after mayors in different Greek municipalities requested help. “It had got to the point where some of the schools had not a drop of oil left. This month we got 20,000 tons from Soros and it has really helped. The government has now promised an extra four million euros but we have yet to see it,” said the mayor of Naoussa in Northern Greece.

George Soros has donated money for heating oil to approximately 190 Greek institutions such as orphanages, schools, nurseries and homes of the elderly and is planning to open “Solidarity Centers” around Greece. The first one opened in Thessaloniki just a few days ago and is already filled with applications.

George Soros’ philanthropy has been the subject of a great controversy. Parents’ associations all over Greece are refusing donations because they are suspicious of his motives. Yiannis Boutaris, mayor of Thessaloniki responded saying “Why Soros gives money to Thessaloniki or other Greek regions, or even to NGOs to help vulnerable groups, should not be the centre of attention. It is the fact that Greek tycoons, shipowners and those from the diaspora don’t follow his example.”[4]

Russia is looking to make an ally within its biggest enemy – Greece

The plot is beginning to thicken.

Greece’s defense minister was invited to Moscow to meet Sergei Shoygu, his Russian counterpart, in the near future. Greece is part of the 28 members of NATO. Russia has always regarded NATO is its biggest threat. Now, Russia appears to have a newfound interest in establishing a relationship with Greece’s defense minister. On Tuesday Kammenos met with both the US and Russian ambassadors to Greece.

“The discussion with the ambassador of Russia, Mr. Maslov, was also about the pending agreements between the Ministries of National Defence of Greece and Russia, the capabilities of a strategic cooperation, the organisation of the year of Greek-Russian friendship in 2016 which will take place in Greece and in Russia. I received an invitation by Russia’s Minister of Defence to visit Moscow within the next period of time,” Kammenos wrote on Greece’s Ministry of National Defense website.” [5] – source

The new Greek government at times has been critical of both the EU and NATO. Tsipras has spoken of withdrawing from NATO.

“On Nato, Syriza describes its approach as a ‘multi-dimensional, pro-peace foreign policy for Greece, with no involvement in wars or military plans.’ It seeks ‘the re-foundation of Europe away from artificial divisions and Cold War alliances such as Nato.’ … Last year on Syriza MP called for Greece to leave Nato altogether, though the comments were rapidly played down by senior officials,” writes BBC.

“The new Greek government is cause for concern, especially because Tsipras has voiced his opposition to NATO membership in the past,” Ian Bremmer told Business Insider last week. “And his early actions — these comments regarding sanctions, as well as his meeting with the Russian ambassador to Greece without hours of taking office — demonstrates that he is willing to engage differently with Moscow.”

It Was Just Like Obama’s First Election Night!”

Already there are comparisons between Tsipras and Obama. The adoring crowds. The rock star status. The people really don’t know much about their new PM. Sound familiar?

They know that Tsipras met his partner, and mother of his kids, in high school, when they both joined Student’s for Communism.

I have been digging into the Internet, attempting to find everything I can about Alexis Tsipras. What I am about to tell you will probably shock you as it did me. I want to stress that I have found this information on different Greek sites (translated of course) and it by no means proves that this is true. But if it is, then I do think that we “may” be looking at the Wicked (as the Bible calls him).

President Trump Seeks Endgame in Iran War as NATO Offers No Real Help and Strait of Hormuz Remains Unsettled

After reducing much of Iran to rubble, and having come to the realization that this war is not winnable, President Trump is now reportedly preparing to walk away and leave the smoking ruins to whoever wants it, with the regime still firmly in place, and their ability to launch missiles on their neighbors still very much intact. History will not be kind to this conflict when it’s discussed , and will remain a black mark on the United States for a long time. Time to rename the Department of War, Pete.

What we are watching right now is not strength, it is the ugly public unraveling of a war plan that did not go according to script. Donald Trump entered this conflict speaking like a man who intended to break Iran, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and make the world bow to the image of American power. But here we are at the end of March 2026, and the picture looks very different. Trump has now told the New York Post that this war will not last “much longer” and that the Strait of Hormuz will reopen “automatically” after the United States exits. At the same time, White House messaging has shifted to say that fully reopening Hormuz is no longer one of the core U.S. objectives. That is not victory language, that’s a pivot.

Gas has gone over $4 per gallon, airlines say they are out of fuel in a few weeks, NATO has abandoned us, and our nation teeters on the edge of recession. Who thought this war was a good idea, anyway?

When a leader begins by drawing a hard line, then quietly starts redefining the goalposts in the middle of the fight, that usually means the original objective has become too expensive, too difficult, or too politically dangerous to keep defending. Trump had projected the image of decisive military control. Instead, the war has dragged on, the Strait remains disrupted, and the administration is now talking as though the problem will somehow solve itself once America leaves. And then there is the coalition problem. Trump did not get the united Western front that his yes-men in Washington assumed would appear on command. Key European allies have resisted direct support, with countries such as Italy, Spain, and France denying or restricting requests tied to the war effort. Even where some logistical help remains, this is nowhere near a broad NATO-style show of force. Europe is not marching in lockstep behind this campaign, and that matters. So what are we really looking at?

We are looking at the limits of the MAGA doctrine, and quite possibly the functional end of the MAGA Movement itself. We are looking at what happens when a government, drunk on it’s own power, believes it can ignite another Middle East war, manage global oil choke points, control allied governments, pressure Iran into submission, and still walk away looking triumphant. That fantasy is now colliding with reality. Oil markets have been jolted, global shipping has been thrown into uncertainty, and the world has been reminded yet again that once war begins, it rarely obeys the neat political storyline written for it.

This is why the current Trump line about Hormuz reopening “automatically” deserves to be called out for what it is: narrative management. If the Strait were going to be reopened by force, they would say so plainly. If the mission had succeeded on its own stated terms, there would be no need to soften the objective after the fact. Instead, the message now is that America can leave and the desired result will somehow materialize later. That sounds less like a commander finishing the job and more like a politician looking for the least damaging exit ramp. From our perspective, this is another reminder that the nations rage, the kings of the earth strut across the stage, and yet the whole thing is marked by pride, confusion, and instability. Men boast of order, but they keep producing disorder. They promise decisive outcomes, but they deliver wider chaos. They talk peace while dropping bombs, then talk inevitability when they cannot secure the very result they said was necessary at the start. That is not wisdom. That is the blindness of power drunk on its own mythology.

The real lesson here is not merely that Trump may be cutting his losses. The deeper lesson is that modern political power remains what it has always been when separated from truth: loud, forceful, theatrical, and ultimately fragile. This war was sold in the language of control. It is now being reframed in the language of retreat. And that is the headline beneath the headline. Trump can call it strategy, his boot-licking defenders can call it leverage, and Fox News can call it a recalibration. But to those of us with eyes that see, it sure looks like this war did not go as planned, the allies never truly came on board, the Strait of Hormuz remains the visible symbol of unfinished business, and the White House is already preparing the public for an ending that falls far short of the original implied promise.

One more thing. To say that Donald Trump has a ‘mercurial’ nature would be a vast understatement, so I will close with the possibility that he could change his mind by five o’clock tonight and send the ground troops in anyway. To quote Forrest Gump, our president is very much like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’ll get. Bring our soldiers home, it’s time to say goodbye to World War Trump.

The Day of Christ is the Rapture of the Church and the Day of the Lord as an event is the start of the time of Jacob’s trouble, they are not the same

There is some confusion today about the Day of Christ and the Day of the Lord, just as there is a similiar confusion between the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God. When we search the scriptures, comparing scripture with scripture, we see clearly both the difference and similarities between these things subjects that are so passionately debated in our day. So today we present you the first article in a series devoted to the topic of the Day of Christ and the Day of the Lord.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. “ 2 Timothy 2:15,16 (KJB)

The Kingdom of Heaven is the kingdom that the Lord Jesus Christ establishes as KING OF KINGS on this Earth at the Second Advent. It is a literal, visible and physical kingdom set up in Jerusalem on the throne of David, and it is for the Jews. The Kingdom of God, on the other hand, though it might sound similiar, is quite different. The Kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom that you must be born again to enter into, it is for the Body of Christ, and it is the gospel that Paul preached. I am talking about this because, in much the same way, people have also conflated the Day of Christ – for the Church, and the Day of the Lord – for Israel, and they cannot possibly be the same thing, either. 5 Main Attributes Of The Day Of The Lord

Is the Day of the Lord an actual day on the calendar? Yes. Is the Day of the Lord also the 7-year time of Jacob’s trouble? Yes. Is the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, the Day of Christ, the first event that takes place at the start of the Day of the Lord time period? Yes. Is the Millennial Reign also the Day of the Lord? Yes. So we see that the Day of the Lord as a period of time, different from the Day of the Lord as either a 7-year event or a singular calendar day, encompasses all the end times events for Christians and the Church, as well as for the Jews and Israel. It’s a prophetic package deal. Now, I’ll grant you it’s a lot to swallow at one time, which is one of the reasons why Isaiah calls this – all of this – God’s ‘strange work’ and His ‘strange act’. “For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.” Isaiah 28:21 (KJB)

1). THE DAY OF THE LORD IS A PERIOD OF TIME: All the Old Testament prophets talk about the Day of the Lord, leaving out the ‘mystery’ of the Church Age Rapture of course, but this is dealt with in the New Testament by Paul. The Day of the Lord at its highest level is a period of time where God is visibly inserting Himself into the affairs of men, beginning with the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, and lasting all the way to the Great White Throne Judgment at the end of the Millennium. All these events that take place during this 1,007+ year period all fall under the heading of the Day of the Lord time period. If you miss that, every conclusion you come to hereafter will be off. “Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.” 1 Corinthians 15:24,25 (KJB)
2). THE PRETRIBULATION RAPTURE KICKS IT OFF: The very first event of the Day of the Lord is actually the Day of Christ, also called the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. For the first time in 2,000 years, God shows Himself visibly to his born again children, and pulls them up into the clouds to be with Him. The Day of Christ is the first in a long series of end times events called the Day of the Lord. The prophets do not mention this event, but Paul with the revelation given him of this mystery, tells us everything we need to know about it. “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51,52 (KJB)
3). THE TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE IS NEXT: After the Body of Christ, the Church is removed, God then turns His attention to the Jewish people and Israel in a 7-year long event called the time of Jacob’s trouble that includes the great Tribulation in it’s last 3.5 years. “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7 (KJB)
4). THE CALENDAR DAY OF THE LORD HAPPENS NOW: We must also remember that the Day of the Lord, in addition to being a period of time, also has an exact calendar day attached to it. On this Day, King Jesus mounts up with His Body on white horses, and we return with Him to Earth at the Second Advent. The purpose of this trip is to fight the Battle of Armageddon, rescue the believing Jewish remnant, and to establish the Kingdom of Heaven on the Earth for a 1,000 period of perfect rule and reign. “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.” Revelation 19:11,14 (KJB)

GOG AND MAGOG & THE GREAT WHITE THRONE: When the 1,000 years are over, the battle of Gog and Magog takes place, the Great White Throne Judgment happens, and everything on every level is finally set right. This concludes the entire Day of the Lord time period, Jesus having now said and done everything the apostles and prophets said He would do, and He ushers in Eternity. “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Revelation 20:12 (KJB)

The Day Of The Lord Is To Be Feared

The Day of the Lord is the polar opposite of the Day of Christ, as you can see in these verses:

“Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?” Amos 5:18-20 (KJB)
“Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.” Isaiah 13:6 (KJB)
“Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.” Joel 1:15 (KJB)
“And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?” Joel 2:11 (KJB)
“The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.” Zephaniah 1:14 (KJB)

The Day of Christ is similiar to the Day of the Lord (Jacob’s trouble) in the sense that the first is the culmination of everything the born again believer has been waiting for since they got saved, while the second is the culmination of all the promises made to the Jewish people by the prophets. The are both monumental and irrevocable events that forever change the participants. The main theme in your King James Bible is the coming King and the coming Kingdom. All the events connected to it, whether for the Church or for the Jews, are all part of the overall Day of the Lord in the preparation of His coming kingdom. Also please remember that at the Second Advent, King Jesus comes with His Body – the Kingdom of God – to establish His kingdom on Earth – the Kingdom of Heaven. The Day of Christ perfects and redeems the Body of Christ, and the Day of the Lord, as a 7-year event, perfects and redeems the Jews. With this, we have perfect scriptural harmony and excellent understanding of the time period known as the Day of the Lord.

In a follow-up article to this one, Lord willing, we will address the argument that the Day of Christ does not apply or refer to the Rapture of the Church, but instead refers to the Jews in the Tribulation.

Trump’s ‘Unleash Hell’ Threat Against Iran Comes As America Once Again Nears A Prophetic Flashpoint Where War, Chaos, And Global Upheaval Could Erupt Without Warning

What a telling moment this is. President Trump is talking about “unleashing hell,” threatening to smash Iran’s infrastructure, and reports continue to swirl about possible U.S. ground operations, even as lawmakers in Washington are warning that no clear endgame exists and no ground invasion order has actually been given. AP reported today that Trump threatened Iran’s power plants, oil wells, desalination facilities, and Kharg Island, while the Wall Street Journal reported bipartisan skepticism over any move that would put American boots on Iranian soil. Bottom line? Confusion and chaos is the Standard Operating Procedure in Washington this morning.

Are we fighting this war on the side of the Iranian people who want regime change? Are we fighting this war to protect Israel? Are we fighting this war to prevent a nuclear Iran? At the moment, no one within the Trump circle seems to have the answer, and that should bother you. Really, really bother you. So here is the blunt truth: if America is preparing to “unleash hell” on Iran while the cost in blood, occupation, and long-term ruin falls mainly on the United States, then this is not some noble crusade. It is another chapter in the same corrupt pattern where American power is spent like cheap currency and American lives are treated as expendable collateral for goals the average citizen never voted on and will never control. That is not courage, that is not statesmanship, and that is not America First. That is America being led to the altar of sacrifice by wicked leaders one more time.
