We are sending a thousand King James Bibles to The Massive Monroe Correctional Complex In Washington State through Bibles Behind Bars

The Monroe Correctional Complex is actually made up of 5 incarceration facilities and they are the Washington State Reformatory Unit, Twin Rivers Unit, Sky River Treatment Center, Minimum Security Unit and the Intensive Management Unit. It houses 2,400 inmates across the spectrum all the way from minimum/medium up to maximum security. What they don’t have are King James Bibles, and Chaplain Donghyeok Kim has reached out to us to help him to change that.

“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.” Acts 16:9 (KJB)

When I told Chaplain Kim that we would immediately send him 500 Bibles now, and the other 500 when he needed them, he was overjoyed. Imagine, no red tape, no votes from a ‘selection committee’ or any of that other nonsense. He told us of his need, and we had his request processed within minutes. That’s it. This is the miracle of Bibles Behind Bars, and why we’ve grown to be one of the largest jail and prison ministries in America exclusively supplying the King James Bible in English, and the Reina-Valera Gomez King James Bible in Spanish. Please pray for the work that Chaplain Kim is doing there in Monroe, along with his fellow chaplain, that souls will continue to be saved and that everyone who needs a King James Bible at Monroe Correctional Complex will receive one. The Delta Regional Unit in Arkansas is in need of hundreds of King James Bibles and edifying Christian doctrinal literature for their inmate library

The Delta Regional Unit (DRU) is a medium-security correctional facility for men in Dermott, Arkansas, operated by the Arkansas Department of Correction. Established in 1990 with a population of 400, it has since grown to now house roughly 625 inmates at any given time.  They hold weekly worship services, religious education, revivals, and pastoral counseling, facilitated by staff, volunteers, and people like Chaplain Hensley who wrote to us over the Christmas break with an urgent request for Bibles.

“To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.” Isaiah 42:7 (KJB)

We are almost at the end of 2025, a year which saw a huge spike up in the number of requests for Bibles and books that come in for Bibles Behind Bars from one hundred different institutions. The Lord is using all of us to literally blanket the country, from southeast Florida all the way up to northwest Alaska and everywhere in between, with Bibles for inmates and detainees. Thank you to everyone who is praying for this vital outreach, we need prayer as never before. And thank you to everyone who donates on whatever level, large or small. Help us to send Bibles and books to the Delta Regional Unit, and please pray for the salvation of souls who are incarcerated there.

Thank you all so much for continuing to support the ongoing and vital end times evangelization work we are doing here at Now The End Begins

2025 was a very transformative year for the ministries that we have here at Now The End Begins, as we watched the Lord open new doors for us to walk through and be both a witness and a blessing to a lost and dying world. Not only did we hand out Bibles to more jails and prisons than ever before, but we went forward in some amazing new directions.

“Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.” Philippians 4:17 (KJB)

Because of your prayers and financial support, we have sent Bibles to some of the darkest prison houses that exist anywhere, to jails where men and women bound in the rags of hopelessness received new life in Jesus Christ along with a beautiful new King James Bible. And along with the Bibles, we sent scripture portions and New Testaments in English and Spanish, enough books to rebuild entire libraries in multiple prisons, and tens of thousands of gospel tracts. The fruit of those labours? Hundreds of people have professed salvation in Jesus Christ! Not only that, but in 2025 we donated to help finish construction on a post-prison men’s shelter, and donated to help complete a new kitchen that will give free quality meals and King James Bibles to over 3,000 people per month. Our Gospel Witness Billboard Program received millions of views in 2025, and we have increased our support of overseas missionaries like CPR Missions in New Guinea, Good Child Missions in Uganda, and the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Kentucky’s mission to Kenya and the Dominican Republic. Don’t forget the Free Bible Program where we send out thousands of Bibles to people who need them but cannot afford them. All of this made possible by your faithful prayers and generous financial support.
