Despite Global Lockdown From 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic, Attacks By Islamic Jihadi Terrorists Rose Sharply About 30% More Than Those In 2019
Jihadis were more prolific during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan this year despite the Chinese coronavirus pandemic with over 242 attacks, about 30 percent more than the 187 last year.
Jihadis were more prolific during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan this year despite the Chinese coronavirus pandemic and the associated lockdowns, carrying out at least 242 attacks, about 30 percent more than the 187 last year.
Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year for Muslims — the Prophet Mohammed reportedly said, “When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained.” That’s funny, if heaven is opened and hell is closed during Ramadan, then why is there so much violence from Islamic jihadis during that time of the year? You would think for something that bills itself as the ‘religion of peace’ there would be a little more peace. Or any peace at all, but the opposite seems to be true.
“And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” Genesis 16:12 (KJB)
Nothing slows down the ravaging of Islamic terror, not even a global coronavirus pandemic, you only thought things got quieter but that’s only because the biased, crooked mainstream fake news media stopped reporting on it. Religion of Peace? Not by a long shot. But maybe now that Pope Francis has signed a covenant with them to create the One World Religion of Chrislam, things need to appear a little quieter than usual.
Ramadan Rage: 2020 Logs 30% More Jihadist Attacks than 2019 Despite Coronavirus
FROM BREITBART NEWS: Islamic terrorists carried out an average of about eight attacks per day this year, compared to an average of six daily assaults in 2019. Three weeks into Ramadan this year, it appeared the number of deaths and injuries would exceed those from the same period last year, but the attacks became less lethal towards the end.
Jihadis killed at least 867 people and injured 813 others across 20 countries during the holy month this year. On average, jihadis killed 29 people and maimed 27 others each day during Ramadan this year.
Last year, however, the holy month was slightly bloodier, resulting in at least 911 fatalities (30 per day) and 1,006 injuries (34 per day). The 1,680 casualties this year represent a drop of over ten percent from the 1,917 last year.
Jihadis have been responsible for nearly 10,000 casualties during the past five Ramadans combined: 2020 (867 killed; 813 wounded), 2019 (911 killed; 1,006 injured), 2018 (841 killed; 1,014 wounded), 2017 (1,639 killed; 1,704 wounded), and 2016 (421 killed; 729 wounded). The Afghan Taliban remains the deadliest (423 deaths; 379 injuries) group during Ramadan this year, again followed by the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) and its affiliates (228 killed; 258 wounded).
However, ISIS was behind Ramadan’s bloodiest attack, killing 32 people and wounding 133 others during a funeral in Afghanistan on May 12. Primarily fueled by several ISIS attacks, May 12 became the bloodiest day (79 fatalities; 165 injuries) of the holy month. READ MORE

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 15,242+ people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 150,000+ followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 15,900 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.

THE PROPHECY NEWS PODCAST: America Has Grown Weary Of The Endless Flip-Flopping On The Iran War Coming From The Trump White House
Trump Pushes America Closer To The Brink As Iran Tensions Rise, Nuclear Fears Grow, And A Region Already On Fire Braces For The Next Deadly Misstep
Americans are not crying out for some cinematic march to military glory in Iran. They want this thing brought to an end, and they want it ended before it turns into another endless Middle East war with no clear objective, no clean finish, and no honest accounting of the cost. Polling has consistently shown more opposition than support for the war, broad disapproval of Trump’s handling of it, and very little appetite for deeper escalation like sending ground troops. What is making that frustration worse is all the confusion that’s coming from Trump himself.
“The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.” Isaiah 24:10 (KJB)
On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, one day Trump talks like total victory is the only acceptable outcome, the next day he is touting talks, ceasefires, delegations, deadlines, and “deals,” only to pivot back again to threats, seizures, ultimatums, and fresh warnings. Even recent coverage has described his own statements on Iran as conflicting, with diplomacy announced alongside coercive moves that seem to undercut the very negotiations he says he wants. That kind of back-and-forth does not project strength to a weary public; it projects drift, improvisation, and a White House making it up one hour at a time. That is the real political problem. The country as a whole wants the war over, but Trump keeps making contradictory moves that leave everyone guessing what “over” is supposed to mean. Is it regime collapse, a nuclear surrender, a temporary ceasefire, a face-saving treaty, or just another social media post declaring victory before the dust has settled? The broader public may tolerate a negotiated exit if it actually ends the danger, but many of Trump’s own supporters are far less likely to accept an outcome that looks like retreat wrapped in dramatic soundbytes. So Trump is now trapped by his own mixed messaging: he has talked too hard to sell a soft landing easily, but he has moved far too erratically to make decisive victory look believable. Today we give you all the updates on the end times events coming out of the Middle East, and the ecumenical revival coming out of the White House.

NTEB RADIO BIBLE STUDY: The Stones Will Cry Out And The Trees Clap Their Hands When King Jesus Comes To Bring In The Kingdom At The Second Advent
The Trees Of The Field Clap Their Hands And The Stones Prepare To Cry Out As All Creation Rejoices Before The Lord And Testifies That The King Is Coming
All through the Bible, and in both Testaments, we see an amazing thing. We see a God who has created a universe that contains a planet called Earth, and everything in it is able to recognize its Creator. And not just recognize Him, but to worship and serve Him as well. A sun, stars and moon that turn themselves off at His coming, stones able to cry out to proclaim the King cometh, trees clapping their hands for the joy of His salvation, winds and waves that obey the sound of His voice. The only creature that struggles with all this is us, man and woman.
“And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?” Mark 4:41 (KJB)
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, why is a sunrise or sunset so captivating that we paint endless pictures and take millions of photos of them? Why have so many love songs been written about the stars, the moon and even the heavenly angels? Because in their beauty they are speaking to us, and not simply speaking, but they are preaching to us about their Creator. All through the Bible we are given incredible examples of the creation listening to, responding to and obeying the voice and command of God. In our Laodicean Church Age, most if not all of these examples are preached to us as poetry or metaphor, stripping them of their power. In tonight’s Bible Study, we restore the power of scripture as we look at the amazing changes that’ll take place in nature and in Outer Space when The King cometh.
Study Helps For Tonight’s Bible Study: The Stones Cry Out
#1). Creation Exists To Declare The Glory Of God
“Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.” Psalm 148:1-4 (KJB)
“Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word: Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars: Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.” Psalm 148:7-13 (KJB)
#2). God Is Worthy To Receive That Praise And Glory
“The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:10,11 (KJB)
#3). The Creation Worships God
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.” Psalm 19:1-3 (KJB)
Why is a sunrise or sunset so captivating that we paint endless pictures and take millions of photos of them? Why have so many love songs been written about the stars, the moon and even the heavenly angels? Because in their beauty they are speaking to us, and not simply speaking, but they are preaching to us about their Creator.
#4). The Creation Obeys God
All through the Bible we are given incredible examples of the creation listening to, responding to and obeying the voice and command of God. In our Laodicean Church Age, most if not all of these examples are preached to us as poetry or metaphor, stripping them of their power.
Please observe the following:
“For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:12 (KJB)
“And as he was now drawing nigh, even at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” Luke 19:37-40 (KJB)
“And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?” Numbers 22:28 (KJB)
“Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.” Psalm 98:8-9 (KJB)
“Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.” Jonah 1:17 (KJB)
“And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.” Jonah 2:10 (KJB)
“And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.
But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered. And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.” Jonah 4:6-8 (KJB)
#5). The Creation Bows To God
When the King comes, His creation will bow to him in homage. The sun, moon and stars will voluntarily withdraw their own light, so that the LIGHT OF THE WORLD Jesus Christ will shine alone.
“But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.” Habakkuk 2:20 (KJB)
“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.” Joel 3:14-16 (KJB)
“For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.” Isaiah 13:10 (KJB)
#6). Jesus Christ Is The Father In The Flesh
“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” 1 Timothy 3:16 (KJB)
“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” Colossians 1:16-17 (KJB)
“That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:” Ephesians 1:10 (KJB)
“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Revelation 5:13 (KJB)
#7). Saints And Sinners, Hear The Conclusion Of The Matter
Christian, if the heavens declare Him, the seas roar for Him, the floods clap before Him, the trees rejoice in Him, and even the stones stand ready to cry out for Him, then you and I ought not be silent. When you got saved, it wasn’t the end of something, it was the beginning.
“Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” Psalm 150:6 (KJB)
Sinner, what about you?
Will the wind and waves obey Him while you resist Him?
Will a stone cry out at His command while you stay silent?
Will the trees rejoice in His salvation while you harden your heart?
Will creation recognize its Creator while the one made in His image refuses to bow to Him?
You out of harmony with the very universe you live in. Your problem is not without, it is within. Remember that old expression “dumb as a box of rocks”? As it turns out, according to the Bible, those rocks have a lot more sense than you do! They know Who their Creator is, and await His command, while you stand in jeopardy every hour.
But the good news is this: the Creator came into His creation to save sinners. Jesus Christ went to the cross, shed His blood, was buried, and rose again the third day so that rebels could be reconciled to God.
Even Death obeys the voice of God:
“Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.” John 11:40-45 (KJB)
You don’t need more signs, you do not need more evidence. You need to come to Jesus Christ as a sinner, and receive His free gift of salvation.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJB)

These programs would not be possible without your generous support. Listen to just a few of the recent comments we have gotten:
- I thanked God for sending to your website in 2015 , I live in the South of France near Nice and let me tell you here there isn’t any Bible Believing church at all, the sad reality of France is that is full of freemasons and Muslims. You came to me at the time I was going to take my own life because of my job. You’re anointed person and I pray for you, family and ministry because you’re a blessing to all of us. May God bless you always. I know I’ll meet you in heaven one day. Lots of Love from your sister in Christ, Paula.
- “Hi Geoffrey and staff, Today is my one year anniversary that I got saved on your podcast! I am now a KJB only, I threw away my other two versions I had. I was shocked to learn of the differences and how the new versions twist the words of God, and dilute the message at best. Thank you for the fabulous bible education and fire for the Lord. I donate on your website throughout the year. Thanks for all that you do.” Donna
- “I have been reading on NTEB for about 5 years and listening as I can to your services. If I could list the encouragement, the doctrines, the awareness of what is coming (our blessed hope) but also the last days culture in which I live that you have taught me, this email wouldn’t fit in this letter. Because of you, I am a stronger more equipped soldier for Jesus Christ. Thank you sir for you, your ministry in my life. Faithful to the end because He lives in me.” Ruthie Dennis
- “My name is Carl N from Mumbai, India. My wife Andrea and I have been ardent listeners of your Bible Study and news update podcasts from the very start of the lockdown last year. In fact we make it a point to share these links with our family and friends… many times getting into trouble, as the truth upsets people. We cannot even begin to tell you how this has changed our lives and walk with the Lord. Thank you so much for what you’ve been doing for the Kingdom!! We’ve even switched Bible translations to the KJV. For the last month or so, you’ve been speaking about making end times Bible study materials available. This got us really excited, as we’re eager to use these for our weekly house church group.” Carl N – Mumbai, India
- “I listen to your podcasts often. Very enlightening and I’ve learned a lot. I’m Catholic and followed the Holy Bible throughout my life however, since listening to your podcasts, I’ve learned much more. I recently sent NTEB a small donation. I’d like to do so again in the future. I’ve also signed up for NTEB chatroom. Anyways, I have a downloaded version of KJB on my computer and I follow your Bible Study with my pdf version KJB. You have offered to send out printed version of KJB if requested. If not too much trouble, when you or your staff get the opportunity please send me a copy.” Kevin W – Frankfurt, Germany
- Just wanted to let you know that your ministry is producing fruit. After listening to the studies and church on NTEB, I was motivated to write witness letters along with NTEB gospel tracks to friends from my hometown who I know are not saved. I sent two of the letters to former Catholic priests of mine….I attached the response from him urging me to read the book “Prove It!.” My wife and I have been placing your gospel tracks in different places we visit. This coming Sunday, I am hosting my first Bible study in my house with some people in our neighborhood. Tomorrow evening I have been given a chance to teach the lesson to our youth church group (our church is very Laodicean), and I am going to talk to the youth on end times. Thank you so much for your ministry and encouraging us to get something done for Jesus while we still can! Thomas B
- “The sole purpose of this email to you is to let you know how much we have been blessed by your amazing ministry/website. ‘We’ is my wife and I, in our early forties, 3 kids, professing, churchgoing, bible believing Christians in The Netherlands. Since two months, I listen to your bible studies on Sunday evening, and since this week also to your prophecy podcast. I listen to them in the archives, because of the 6 hour time difference. The shofar and the blessing at 0:30 into the study never fails to make tears in my eyes. We are praying for you, we are praying for your voice, that it lasts in these incredible busy times for you. Listening to your podcasts, you seem to do it effortlessly, talking, scanning the chatbox for questions, diving into the texts, from Genesis to Revelation and everything in between, I love it when you realize after 1:30h into the study, actually a lot more subjects need to be addressed! Thank you for all your work and effort, you are doing an amazing job. Although it all seems effortlessly, I know it is not…Our faith is strengthened by your work and we are able to testify in a better way to the people around us!” Wouter D. van der Wiel – Netherlands
- “Wanted to send you encouragement and thank you for all you are doing!! I’ve been reading from this website for about 5 years and I’ve been on this at least 10 times a day. It’s the most honest prophecy website in history. And you have ministered to me greatly. This lockdown has been amazing as God gets us unto himself and smooths out the paths for us. I was reading devotional from Kenneth Copeland and during that time you had really hit That ministries hard. I was not Word Faith but I was feeding off his teaching. During this time I have removed Kenneth Copeland I wanted to thank you for your exposure of his ministry. Holy Spirit is truly the leader of all truths. The bible study on Bill Gates was tremendous. And I had the same check in my spirit as you did. He’s the guy that gonna lead this one world revolution Amazing times we live in. I’m super excited and living in total victory and peace. Once again thank you for the time you put in your reward in heaven will truly be great. Looking forward to this coming week. My prayer tonight is this …Father send Your Son!! DG
- “Thank you oh so much for sound teaching. I am so thankful and blessed for clicking on your channel. I have been on your Facebook page since 2011 and never subscribed to you-tube channel until today. I loved the live recording of singing, what a delight to hear the joy of the Lord in the voices of the congregation. So wonderful to hear the part about Luke 12:36, that has made my eyebrows furrow when I read and therefore I have always steadfast to not leaning on my own understanding. May God continue to bless you, your family friends and loved ones. All Glory be to Jesus, my Saviour Redeemer and King, Amen.” Susan Anderson
- “Loved this teaching! Presented in a clear contextual manner that was easy to follow along. You connected the dots for me that had previously brought so much confusion, namely the 4th seal covenant, the 5th seal tribulation saints, and the 6th seal 2nd Coming of Christ AFTER the wedding of the Body/Bride of Christ IN HEAVEN. Wow, after 41 years since my being born again by the Holy Spirit in to the Body of Christ, I finally have the answers to end the confusion. What joy and peace has flooded my heart! Thank you for this encouraging teaching of the Word.” SB
- “I am from Sri Lanka and listen to the radio Bible study every week.” Nihal Perera
Nothing thrills my soul like teaching the word of God, it is what the Lord called me to do 29 years ago, and Now The End Begins is the vehicle in which I am able to do it. How exciting it is to be able to teach the Bible to tens of thousands of people per year. Like I told you with the first post of 2020, I have dedicated myself now full-time to NTEB, and it is only through your generous support that such a thing is possible.

- “You are truly an end time ministry and I appreciate how our Precious Lord is using you to educate his very own flock. There is a lot of confusion , but your ministry is putting scripture in the right prospective. Thank-you so so much Geoffrey S Grider for standing firm and putting in a lot of hours of your time. God Bless You , also your Ministry and your family. IN JESUS MIGHT NAME.” T. Muto
- “Jesus. I am now 64 years old and never in all the years I’ve been a Christian was I able to grow in the Lord as much as I have in the last past year. All because of our blessed brother’s work Geoffrey Grider who as the bravery of standing fast forward without fear of claiming the truth of God by the power of his love in Jesus Christ. May God bless you abundantly to the end my dear brother… ROMANS: 8: 36,37,38” Mireille Anderson
- “I met you at the car dealership earlier this year. We spoke briefly, then you handed me a card and told me to check out the website. You left. A few minutes later, you returned to tell me not to forget to look up the website. I told you…” I already did. I already subscribed.” In that short time we spoke, I experienced from you…a total stranger…peace, joy, kindness, gentleness, compassion, and love. I am convinced that God sent you to share the Good News that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. For that, and for the work you are doing for the Kingdom of God, I say…Thank you and God Bless You.” Sonia Merced
- “I really enjoy the emails and Bible studies! I haven’t found a church and enjoy your services very much! Be blessed brother!” Marcia Mann
- “You and your organization are on the front lines in the Battle For Truth…. current events, end times, and trying to awaken a sleeping laodicean Church. Thank you brother for fighting for us and all your teaching and insight God bless…” Daniel Cartrette
- “I’m a KJB believer. We’re so close to being “caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. I have many lost family who don’t want the truth, including my husband & son. I’ve been banned from seeing my grandsons since I comforted the 4 1/2 year old with sharing Jesus loving the little children & telling him about the one who created him last he stayed overnight March 3rd. He was so excited to hear about Jesus! His dad (my son) was angry that I told him & wants me to apologize. I never will do so. If my own family won’t hear, I know there’s others searching for the truth. My heart grieves for all the lost who will spend eternity in hell if they reject the Lord Jesus Christ, the expectant hope of the world. He is not willing that any should perish. God bless your ministry, Geoffrey! (I continue to pass out your tracts & you’re on my prayer list!)” LouAnn Benham
- “Love the Sunday night bible study. I want to support someone who has the passion for the lost like Geoffrey does and rightly divides the word of God. God bless you.” Teresa Carey
- “I give because not many news outlets are brave enough or Godly enough to tell these stories from a Christian’s point of view. I see stories here that will not be seen anywhere else.” William Grayshaw

TDS ALERT: Trump Bragged He ‘Solved The Iran Crisis’, But Less Than 24 Hours Later Iranian Gunboats Opened Fire In A Reclosed Strait Of Hormuz To Prove Otherwise
Trump’s Victory Lap Lasted Less Than A Day Before Iranian Gunboats Opened Fire In The Strait Of Hormuz And Reminded The World That Reality Does Not Bend To Boasts
Yesterday, Donald Trump stood before the cameras and talked like the Middle East had been tamed, like the Strait of Hormuz problem was completely handled, like Iran had blinked, backed down, and accepted the new reality. Multiple outlets reported that Trump publicly celebrated the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and claimed Iran had effectively accepted key U.S. demands, including never closing the strait again. Iranian officials, however, were already disputing those claims almost immediately, warning that any opening was conditional and temporary. Now look at what happened today.
“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” Psalm 146:3 (KJB)
Iranian gunboats opened fire on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz after Tehran reimposed restrictions, with AP reporting that at least one tanker came under fire and another Indian-flagged supertanker was also shot at, forcing vessels to turn around. Britain’s maritime monitors described multiple incidents involving gunfire and projectiles near the strait. So much for “problem solved.” Just about anyone who knows anything about the Middle East as it relates to Iran knows that the Iranian regime are psychopathic liars who cannot be trusted with anything at any time. Any statement that includes the words “Iran has agreed to…” is nonsensical and is dismissed out of hand.
Trump Derangement Syndrome, or TDS, works both ways, and if you believe everything he says, guess what? You have it.
This is the same pattern we have seen over and over again with Trump on foreign policy. He talks in grand, sweeping declarations of delusion. He boasts. He frames unstable situations as settled victories before the smoke has even cleared. He wants the headline first and the reality later. But reality has a way of showing up with a knife, and in this case it showed up with Iranian gunboats firing on tankers in one of the most strategically important waterways on earth.
President Donald Trump’s handling of the war he started in Iran is reprehensible, despicable and a slap in the face to the memory of the 13 soldiers who died at his incompetent orders. He has never been more worthy and deserving of impeachment than he is right now. @POTUS pic.twitter.com/ITKWOMnmm9
— Now The End Begins (@NowTheEndBegins) April 17, 2026
And let’s be honest about what this means. If Iran is once again using force to control passage through Hormuz, then Trump did not solve the crisis. He didn’t pacify it. He didn’t neutralize it. He merely talked as though he had. AP reports that Tehran explicitly reversed course on reopening the strait and declared that control had returned to Iran’s armed forces under a “new Maritime Regime,” while Trump simultaneously insisted the U.S. blockade would remain in place unless a broader agreement is reached. That is not peace. That is not stability. That is a powder keg with two hands on the fuse.
This is what happens when political theater tries to pass itself off as statecraft.
The Strait of Hormuz is not some campaign prop. Roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil moves through that choke point, and any serious disruption there threatens shipping, insurance markets, fuel prices, and regional military escalation. When a president starts thundering that the matter is effectively settled, but within hours commercial ships are being fired upon and reversing course, that is not strength. That is exposed weakness dressed up in bravado.
What makes it worse is the timing. Trump’s rhetoric yesterday helped create the impression that Iran had folded, that American pressure had forced compliance, and that the crisis was winding down. Yet the reporting today shows the exact opposite: Iran is still defiant, still armed, still willing to challenge freedom of navigation, and still setting its own conditions in direct contradiction to Trump’s rosy public claims.
Trump may be able to dominate a news cycle with oversized claims, but he cannot command reality into submission by sheer force of his massive ego. Iran didn’t read the script. they didn’t honor the boast. Iran answered the Trump swagger with gunfire. And now the whole world can see, in real time, that the “solution” Trump seemed so eager to advertise yesterday was no solution at all. This is why serious people do not celebrate before the facts are in. This is why statesmen speak carefully when the region is one bad decision away from catastrophe. And this is why boastful declarations from politicians should always be measured against the next day’s headlines. In this case, the next day’s headlines have rendered the verdict with brutal clarity: Trump claimed victory before there was one, where is is none.
BREAKING NEWS: Strait of Hormuz under FULL Iranian control
‘Fox & Friends Weekend’ co-hosts discuss a report that the Strait of Hormuz is closed and under full IRGC control. Listen as the dumbfounded hosts struggle to comprehend how Iran still retains as much military control after Trump repeatedly said they were “decimated” and “obliterated”. It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad.
