Ramadan 2017 On Track For Breaking Record For Number Of Killings By Islamic Terrorists Around The World

An estimated 832 deaths and 912 injuries from 60 attacks that have taken place across about 19 countries during the first 12 days of Ramadan 2017.

The estimated 832 deaths and 912 injuries from the estimated 60 attacks that have taken place across about 19 countries during the first 12 days of this year’s holy Muslim month of Ramadan have already marked the bloodiest Ramadan in recent years for adherents of Islam.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The Muslim month-long-holiday of Ramadan means a lot of things to a lot of people. And for nearly 1,000 people during the first 12 days of the “celebration”, it means death. Why? Because they were killed by Muslims celebrating Ramadan. Wouldn’t it be great if we lived in a world where, instead of “fasting and praying” for 30 days, Muslims simply refrained from killing innocent people? Keep dreaming…

Jihadists believe martyrdom is doubly rewarded in paradise during Ramadan. Jihadist groups encourage martyrdom among their sympathizers and followers, promoting the belief that they will be doubly rewarded if they fatally castigate infidels during Ramadan. The holy month this year is on track to surpass the deadliest and bloodiest Ramadan in the modern record: Ramadan 2016.

Ramadan 2016 featured 1,150 casualties — both death and injuries. This year, terrorists – namely the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL), Taliban, and al-Qaeda, among other jihadists – have already killed or wounded more than 1,500 people across about 15 countries and there are still about 20 days left in the month.

During the first 12 days of Ramadan 2017 period, there have been an estimated 60 terror attacks carried out in the name of Allah (by Islamic extremists) resulting in the death of 832 people and injury of 912.

The death toll for the first few days of Ramadan this year has already surpassed the fatalities that occurred during the entire holy month last year —  421 deaths and 729 injuries. Among the 2016 fatalities are women, children, and members of the Christian minority. This year is no exception.

Ramadan-Bombathon-2017There are members of a wide variety of ethnic and religious groups among the victims: Westerners, Christians, Asians, Sunnis, Shias, and Arabs. Muslims of all sects made up the majority. As recent attacks in England, Germany, and France show, the West is not immune to the Islamic extremists’ call to attack during Ramadan.

This year, the first full day of Ramadan fell on May 27. Muslims follow the tradition of abstaining from eating, drinking, smoking, having sex, and other physical needs each day, starting from before the break of dawn until sunset during the holy month.

Breitbart News’ count, gleaned from the Religion of Peace website in coordination with news reports, excludes the number of casualties directly linked to battles between U.S.-led coalition troops and jihadists groups, as well as Iranian- and Russian-backed troops loyal to dictator Bashar al-Assad.

If all of the deaths from the ongoing conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan had been included, the total number would be much higher. The Religion of Peace website acknowledges their estimate is an undercount, so the number of Ramadan deaths and injuries could be higher.

May 27 — Qadis, Afghanistan — Taliban kills 14, injures 17.
May 27 — Khost, Afghanistan — Taliban suicide bomber targets U.S-backed National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF), which includes army and police units, killing 18, woundin six others, including children.
May 27 — Kacha Khuh, Pakistan — “Honor Killing” — Brother hacks 18-year-old sister with axe to death for denying to abide by pre-arrange marriage.
May 27 — Marawi, Philippines — Jihadists kill 19 including women and a child.
May 28 — Marawi, Philippines — Jihadists murder 8 for “having betrayed their faith.”
May 28 — Ramo Adey, Somalia — Jihadists bury man to his neck, stone to death for adultery
May 28 — Mosul, Iraq — ISIS sets hospital ablaze and kills a dozen young people inside.
May 28 — Mosul, Iraq — ISIS kills at least 40 women and children trying to flee besieged city.
May 28 — Shirqat, Iraq — ISIS rocket attack kills three children and their parents.
May 28 — Gumsri, Nigeria — Boko Haram kills at least seven villagers.
May 28 — Shakhil Abad, Afghanistan — Islamic extremists kill district governor and his son inside their home.
May 28 — Baqubah, Iraq — Suicide bomber kills 3, injures up to 16 others outside court.

The Eye Of The Hurricane: The World Goes Eerily Quiet As America Braces For Midterm Elections, The Next Phase Of The Iran War, And Soaring Prices

There is something almost surreal taking place in the world this morning. After months of relentless warfare in the Middle East, economic upheaval, political chaos and increasingly frightening international headlines, we appear to have entered what can best be described as the eye of the hurricane. The end times hurricane. We have reached that strange, deceptive moment when the winds temporarily subside, the skies seem to clear, and everything becomes eerily quiet. But anyone who has ever lived through a major hurricane, and here in Florida we’ve lived through a bunch of them, knows that the eye is not the end of the storm. It is the brief interval between the devastation you have already experienced and the devastation that’s still coming. The most dangerous thing you can do while standing in the eye of a hurricane is convince yourself that the storm is over. I’m here to tell you it’s not, not by a long shot.

Meanwhile, the political storm gathering over Washington is becoming impossible to ignore. This morning, the Drudge Report is leading with an extraordinary headline, “SOS MAGA — FINAL DAYS OF TRUMP PARTY,” accompanied by a photograph of a slumbering President Donald Trump sitting with his eyes closed while Vice President JD Vance stands askance behind him. The headline perfectly captures the political anxiety surrounding the November 3 midterm elections. Recent national polling shows Trump’s approval ratings dropping like a rock, with the cost of living, inflation and the economy remaining major concerns for American voters. At the same time, the war with Iran has become inseparable from the political calendar. American and Israeli military planners have reportedly developed options for renewed strikes after the elections, while the White House insists there will be no American attacks before voters go to the polls. What an extraordinary situation! The timing of a potential new military offensive is being discussed in the same breath as an American election, while the American people struggle with the economic consequences of a war that remains dangerously unresolved.

And while the politicians count votes, the world continues counting the cost. Oil prices are climbing toward their Iran-war highs, shipping through the Strait of Hormuz remains dangerous, and Tehran is openly threatening retaliation against Gulf energy facilities, airports, undersea communications cables and artificial intelligence infrastructure if another American-Israeli attack takes place. Israel is preparing expanded military operations in the West Bank, even as its own election approaches. Wall Street is wrestling with market volatility and growing concerns over the enormous amounts of money pouring into artificial intelligence. Cybersecurity researchers are warning about serious vulnerabilities threatening websites and computer systems around the world. These are not isolated headlines. They are interconnected fault lines running through a global system that has become increasingly dependent on uninterrupted energy supplies, digital infrastructure, international commerce and political stability. One major disruption in the wrong place could send shock waves across several of these systems at once.

But here is what I find most fascinating about this particular moment in time: everything seems to be waiting for something else. Washington is waiting for November 3. Israel is preparing for their October 27th elections and whatever comes next with Iran. Tehran is calculating how much economic pressure it can exert before the American elections. Financial markets are watching energy prices, interest rates and the rapidly expanding artificial intelligence industry. And millions of ordinary people like me and you are simply trying to make ends meet while wondering what fresh crisis tomorrow’s headlines will bring. There is a peculiar unnerving tension in watching so many unresolved problems accumulate without knowing which one will become the next great international emergency.

On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast,  we are watching a world attempting to manage tremendous instability while still assuring itself that tomorrow will look something like yesterday. We don’t know what will happen after November 3, whether the Iran war will explode into another round of fighting, or what new economic or geopolitical crisis may be waiting around the corner. But the first half of the storm has already shown us how quickly the world can change. The question now is what waits us on the other side of it.

Something very strange is happening on the campaign trail as President Donald Trump crisscrosses America desperately trying to rescue Republican control of Congress in the upcoming midterm elections. With his approval ratings collapsing, the Iran war dragging on, and the American people increasingly frustrated by an economy that looks nothing like the promised Golden Age, the president has suddenly become fascinated with describing other men’s bodies, particularly Senator Jon Husted’s muscular backside, shoulders, legs and feet. Then there’s his continuing celebration of the Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.,” which he calls the “gay national anthem,” while telling audiences how much Melania hates watching him dance to it. But what if these increasingly bizarre performances are not simply Trump losing control of the narrative? What if they are helping him deliberately change it? Remember, this is the same president who celebrated the obliteration of Iran’s nuclear facilities and promised the American people an end to endless wars. Yet months later, American military forces remain deeply engaged in the Middle East, the Iranian nuclear question remains unresolved, and American families are paying the price at the gas pump. Meanwhile, inflation remains stubbornly elevated, and a recent Reuters/Ipsos survey puts Trump’s approval rating at an astonishing 31%. Those are the headlines that should be dominating the national conversation, not the president’s running commentary about another man’s anatomy. Whether by deliberate calculation or political instinct, every fresh controversy gives the media another shiny object to chase while the consequences of his administration’s policies continue mounting.
