Police have arrested more than 2,000 people during pro-Palestinian protests at college campuses across the United States in recent weeks, according to an Associated Press tally Thursday.

The big question now is will these college riots that seek to destroy Israel and the Jews break out from being only on college campuses and begin to appear in the downtown streets like the riots of 2020 did before them? It all depends on how much more funding that George Soros is willing to give them, I suppose, because he is the main one behind it all. Joe Biden today finally took a position on the riots, condemning them, but only after Trump had called him out for staying mostly silent.

The situation is politically complicated for Biden, who is already facing blowback from portions of his base over his handling of the Israel-Hamas war. Thousands of voters have cast protest ballots against Biden in Democratic primaries, and a CNN poll released over the weekend showed Biden trailing Trump among young voters. The longer the riots go on, the more it benefits Trump and his efforts to win re-election. Israel is also showing signs that a ceasefire may not be in the offing, and that will certainly extend the rapidly-worsening situation.

At least 2,000 people arrested at pro-Palestinian protests on US campuses

FROM THE ASSOCIATED PRESS: Demonstrations — and arrests — have occurred in almost every corner of the nation. But in the last 24 hours, they’ve drawn the most attention at the University of California, Los Angeles, where chaotic scenes played out early Thursday when officers in riot gear surged against a crowd of demonstrators.

Hundreds of protesters at UCLA defied orders to leave, some forming human chains as police fired flash-bangs to break up the crowds.

At least 200 people were arrested, said Sgt. Alejandro Rubio of the California Highway Patrol, citing data from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Rubio said they were being booked at the county jails complex near downtown Los Angeles. UCLA police will determine what charges to bring.

Later Thursday morning, workers removed the barricades and dismantled the protesters’ fortified encampment. Bulldozers scooped up bags of trash and tents. Some buildings were covered in graffiti.

Tent encampments of protesters calling on universities to stop doing business with Israel or companies they say support the war in Gaza have spread across campuses nationwide in a student movement unlike any other this century.

The demonstrations began at Columbia University on April 17, with students calling for an end to the Israel-Hamas war, which has killed more than 34,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, according to the Health Ministry there. Israel launched its offensive in Gaza after Hamas militants killed about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and took roughly 250 hostages in an attack on southern Israel on Oct. 7. READ MORE

Emmanuel Macron has said he would be prepared to send troops to Ukraine if Vladimir Putin’s forces break through the front lines, raising the risk of NATO forces clashing with Russia’s armies.

Emmanuel Macron has been talking tough lately, and if he is not careful he just may get the chance to see how tough France really is. The French military is pretty good as far as Europe goes, constantly ranked in the ‘Big Three’ along with the UK and Germany, but Russia is an anomaly as many leaders like Napoleon and Hitler found out the hard way. Fighting Russia through Ukraine as a proxy is one thing, fighting them head on will be quite another.

Russia right now is getting missiles from North Korea, drones from Iran, and a massive amount of technical assistance from China, forming an Axis-type alliance with these shadowy end times nations. It was not the United States who suffered more than 58,000 dead and then was forced to flee as Saigon fell. Proxy wars can have very substantial consequences as Emmanuel Macron may soon be finding out.

Macron vows to send TROOPS to Ukraine if Putin’s forces break through front lines and Zelensky asks for reinforcements

FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: In an interview published today, the French president said the issue of sending troops would ‘legitimately’ arise if Kyiv and president Volodymyr Zelensky made such a request. The Economist said Macron gave the interview after delivering a keynote speech last week where he declared that Europe is ‘mortal’ and could ‘die’ partly due to the threat posed by Russian aggression after its February 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

It also came as Russia claimed its forces had taken another town in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, with Moscow’s armies continuing to push against Kyiv’s defences. Russia is rushing to advance against struggling Ukrainian forces ahead of the long-awaited arrival of the bulk of US weapons to the front for Kyiv’s outgunned troops.

‘I’m not ruling anything out, because we are facing someone who is not ruling anything out,’ Macron said when asked if he stood by comments earlier this year not excluding the sending of Western troops that sent shockwaves around Europe.

Such a move would see NATO troops go head-to-head with those in the Russian army, dramatically increasing the risk of an escalation. What’s more, some analysts believe that Russia could be on the verge of launching a major new offensive in Ukraine.

Macron said ‘if Russia decided to go further, we will in any case all have to ask ourselves this question’ of sending troops, describing his refusal to rule out such a move as a ‘strategic wake-up call for my counterparts’.

He described Russia as ‘a power of regional destabilisation’ and ‘a threat to Europeans’ security’.

‘I have a clear strategic objective: Russia cannot win in Ukraine,’ Macron said. ‘If Russia wins in Ukraine, there will be no security in Europe,’ he warned.

‘Who can pretend that Russia will stop there? What security will there be for the other neighbouring countries, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Lithuania and the others?’

Under NATO’s Article 5, all members are obliged to defend others in the case of an armed attack. Should Russia directly attack a NATO member, then the US, the UK, France and Germany are among those who would be expected to respond. Zionism is the belief that all the land of Israel, Zion, belongs to God who gave it to the Jews, and that God Himself will return at the Second Advent to rule the world from Israel.

In your King James Bible, Zion is a city and it is connected to both Bethlehem and Jerusalem for some really good reasons. In Bethlehem David was anointed by Samuel the prophet, in Bethlehem Jesus the Saviour was born. David became king over a unified Israel which included Israel to the north and Judah to the south. Jesus at the Second Advent will sit on David’s throne over a unified Israel in a kingdom that rules the entire world. You can also see what God thinks about Zion, and what He thinks about the political doctrine we call Zionism. What is Zionism then from a biblical perspective? It is the belief that all the land of Israel belongs to God who gave it to the Jews, and that God Himself will return at the Second Advent to rule the world from Israel, also called Zion dozens of times. If you are a Christian who names Jesus, the coming Zionist King, as your Saviour, how on Earth are you not a Zionist?
