To date it has taken just under 10,000 NTEB’ers who have made donations large and small for the furtherance of Bibles Behind Bars and the NTEB Free Bible Programs

Today while I was doing the Podcast live, I watched as email confirmations for shipments of Bibles kept popping up on my screen. Up popped the order for the Union Correctional Institution in Central Florida, up popped the order for the Saint Johns County Jail in Saint Augustine, up popped the order for the Summit County Jail in Akron, Ohio, up popped smaller orders to individuals who do personal work in the jails where they live. When it was all done, we had popped our way past 300,000 King James Bibles, New Testaments, Scripture portions and Gospel Tracts.  We are on our way to one million, Lord willing.

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:8 (KJB)

To achieve this incredible milestone of 300,000, to date is has taken just under 10,000 NTEB’ers who have made donations large and small for the furtherance of Bibles Behind Bars and the NTEB Free Bible Program as well. It has taken thousands of saints lifting this outreach up to the Lord in prayer, and certifying it by sending in the financial resources necessary to purchase the thousand-pound rolls of paper, the full Bibles, the New Testaments, the scripture portions and the gospel tracts. It feels to me, at times, like a spiritual version of the Allied landing on the beach at Normandy in WWII, with just about that many people involved to make it happen.

We are truly on the front lines of the end times in the Lord’s harvest field.

We have been sending out thousands and thousands of Bibles over the past 2 months, some of it paid for and some of it not. At the moment, we are looking to pay down about $13,000 in Bibles already sent out by faith, and we need your help to do it. We had bills for Bibles just today come in for over $4,000. The Summit County Jail in Ohio and the Saint Johns County Jail here in Saint Augustine need Bibles, and praise the Lord we’re going to send them

The other day we received an email from a worker at the Summit County Jail that read “Good Morning- We are in search of Bibles for our Inmates- On average we have 500-600 Inmates. I was hoping that your organization could help us. If you can please feel free to contact me at the email address I provided- THANK YOU so much for all of the work you do!” This will be our second facility in Ohio that we supply with Bibles, the Richland Correctional Institution being the other one.

“Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.” Acts 5:25 (KJB)

Last year, we sent 500 Bibles to Corrections Chaplain Deon Johnson at the St. Johns County Jail here in Saint Augustine, and it was a blessing to be able to supply them to a facility here in our hometown. He contacted me earlier today to tell me they are once again out of Bibles, and need more for their inmates. We am hoping to send them closer to 750 Bibles this time around. When I have lunch with Chaplain Deon on Tuesday, I will be inviting him to come to our Camp Meeting that’s focused on jail and prison ministry.

As you can see, our Bibles Behind Bars program is impacting lives all across the United States, providing Bibles, New Testaments, scripture portions and gospel tracts to tens of thousands of inmates. These are the forgotten people who have been locked up and kept away from society, and yet, a group that Jesus tells us we need remember and to minister to them that they might be saved. Most of what Paul writes are prison-based epistles where Paul is either in prison, recently let out of prison, or preparing to go back into prison. God has a great heart for the captive, and calls us to bring them His word. Last Saturday, 10 men at the Richland Correctional Institution prayed to get saved and were given a King James Bible from Bibles Behind Bars

Last November, we sent 1000 King James Bibles to the Wooster Bible Church in Ohio for their prison ministry, and we asked you at that time to pray that there would be fruit for the Lord Jesus as a result. Evangelist David Spurgeon went with a group of men in November of 2023 into the Richmond Correctional Institution, armed with King James Bibles we supplied them with, and men prayed to get saved as a result. Yesterday I received a text from Wooster Bible Church that the last of the Bibles were finally distributed last weekend, Bro. Spurgeon again preaching in the prison, and this time 10 men raised their hand to say they had received Jesus as Saviour. Praise the Lord!

Guess what? I wholeheartedly agree with him, our multi-level and global free Bible outreach program is absolutely the strength of NTEB. God has raised up something very unique and powerful with both our Free Bible Program and Bibles Behind Bars, people need the word, lost and saved, and God has tasked us with getting it to them.

On the Podcast earlier today, I shared with our listeners that we are rapidly approaching 400 souls, that we know about, who have made professions of saving faith in Jesus Christ as a result of our efforts with Bibles Behind Bars since 2021. That is a bucketload of fruit that will follow us through in to glory and to the Judgment Seat of Christ.
