Fake News CNN says that ‘Rapture anxiety,’ as it is often called, is recognized by some faith experts and mental health professionals as a type of religious trauma. Oh, really?

The latest attack on the Bible doctrine of the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church comes from, of all places CNN if you can believe that. In an article with a headline declaring “RAPTURE ANXIETY!!!”, fake news and non-news CNN mocks and belittles anyone and everyone who holds to this precious Church Age Bible truth. The doctrine of the Pretribulation Rapture did not ‘originate in the 1800’s’ as its detractors assert, but in the pages of inspired scripture authored by the Holy Ghost. Why would CNN write an article like this? Simple, they are trying to steal your joy, your peace, but most of all, they’re trying to get you to let go of the crown the Lord will give you for looking for His appearing in the rapture.

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:8 (KJB)

At this stage in ministry, I have heard every argument that can be made against the Bible doctrine of the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. No saved person could miss it unless you had the wrong book, the wrong motivation, or you listened to the wrong people who wrongly divide the scriptures. I feel quite confident the Lord would give me the victory in any debate with rapture naysayers regardless of their “superior education” and “knowledge of the Greek and Hebrew”. But there is something more to all this than simple anti-Christian screed vomited out by fake news CNN, I think it goes a whole lot deeper than that. You will notice their article contains zero perspective from the Bible believer side, not one shed of counter-balance to their invective. You know what that makes me think? It makes me think that the Rapture of the Church is right around the corner, and the Devil wants you to live in defeat, to get you to stop looking for the Lord’s appearing at the Day of Christ, so you drop that crown of righteousness Paul says God will give you for looking for it. Don’t you do it. TO THE FIGHT!!!

For some Christians, ‘rapture anxiety’ can take a lifetime to heal

FROM CNN: Darren Slade, the president and CEO of the Global Center for Religious Research, has been studying religious trauma across several faiths and denominations for years.

“This is a real thing. It’s a chronic problem,” he says of rapture anxiety. “This is a new area of study, but in general, our research has revealed that religious trauma leads to an increase of anxiety, depression, paranoia and even some OCD-like behaviors: ‘I need to say this prayer of salvation so many times,’ ‘I need to confess my sins so often.’”

“Now imagine,” he continues, “You are taught that at any minute, you could be left here on Earth. What does that do to the teenager who just had premarital sex, or even simply took the Lord’s name in vain?”

Experiences like Ajoy’s – a latent fear of an impending, inevitable end – are very common among communities of religious trauma survivors. On social media, former church members recall being tricked by church leaders into watching violent rapture-themed films or crying themselves to sleep thinking about people and pets that would be left behind when the end finally came.

Chelsea Wilson of Marietta, Georgia tells CNN that while growing up in an evangelical community, talk of the rapture was so intrinsic that children would play pranks to scare each other into believing everyone around them had been raptured.

“As if,” Wilson says, “it were a scary campfire story.”

The concept of the rapture, known theologically as dispensational premillennialism, is not prevalent in Catholic or mainline Protestant denominations like Episcopalianism or Presbyterianism, and is most commonly adhered to in evangelical and fundamental churches. This line of theology draws heavily upon a letter from the Apostle Paul to the Thessalonians, included in the Bible, that says believers in Jesus would be snatched or seized into the air.

Interpretations of this verse vary widely among Christian leaders, many of whom see it as a common example of poetic metaphor among Paul’s writings. However, this striking imagery forms the basis of a lot of modern ideas about the rapture – so much so, Slade says it’s not uncommon for people with religious trauma to report having a fear of heights as they imagine their final ascent.

Survivors also cite the influence of fiction works, like the “Left Behind” book series and the 2000 movie adaptation, which they say were presented in their church circles as accurate glimpses into a post-rapture future. These works have reached such a level of infamy in these faith communities that some survivors say the descriptions of suffering and terror in the series greatly influenced their rapture-related fears. (There is a reason Ajoy’s initial thought of the guillotine seems oddly specific – it features in a graphic execution scene in the 1972 rapture film, “A Thief in the Night.”)

Slade knows just how deep modern rapture theology can go.

As a Baptist preacher and religious scholar, he was surrounded by peers who would attend “end of days” or “end of times” conferences. These meetings, many of which are still held today, focus heavily on events in the Christian Book of Revelation, and attempt to connect scriptural elements with current events in the world. It’s why fringe groups are left in the lurch when predictions about the end of days don’t manifest.

However, Slade’s biblical studies eventually led him to an uncomfortable truth: The rapture, as it is taught in some Baptist, evangelical and fundamentalist communities, is scantly mentioned in the Bible. In fact, modern rapture theology only dates back to the 1800s. This and other realizations led Slade to leave the Christian faith and focus his energy on the academic side of religion. US President Donald Trump is expected to announce Gaza’s ‘Board of Peace’ and the transition to the second phase of the US-backed Gaza deal by Christmas with a 10 nation confederacy

On the Podcast today, we brought you the breaking news that Trump has announce Phase II of his ‘Board of Peace’ plan to take control of Gaza with the unanimous approval of the UN Security Council. The really exciting part of all that was the Jerusalem Post announcing that Trump has created a 10 nation confederacy to help him bring peace to Gaza. Could things really get any more crazy? Is Donald Trump the Antichrist? Well, is he? That’s the memo.

As I said repeatedly on the Podcast today, no, I do not think that Donald Trump is the biblical Antichrist – BUT – he is absolutely walking the same prophetic pattern that the Bible says the Antichrist will display in the time of Jacob’s trouble. Trump is obsessed with bringing peace to the world in general, and peace to the Middle East in particular. He is advocating for peace while at the same time planning and preparing for multiple wars. Wednesday he took control of the United States Institute of Peace and renamed it after himself! Now we learn that he will rule over Gaza with a 10-nation confederacy much like the one outlined in the book of Revelation. I’m sure this is all a crazy coincidence and soon we will all wake up and realize it was just a dream. Right? Buckle up, Christian, Flight #777 is warming up.

Trump to announce transition to Phase II of Gaza deal, ‘Board of Peace’ by Christmas

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: President Trump plans to announce before Christmas that the Gaza peace process is moving into its second phase and to unveil the new governance structure for the enclave, according to two U.S. officials and a Western source directly involved in the process.

“All of the different elements are pretty well advanced. It’s all moving ahead, and the aim is to announce it before people break for the holidays,” Axios reported, citing the Western source. The ‘Board of Peace’ will reportedly include approximately 10 Arab and Western leaders and will work alongside an international executive board composed of former British prime minister Tony Blair, Jared Kushner, US envoy Steve Witkoff, and other senior officials from contributing countries.

“The equation will be IDF out of Gaza but Hamas out of power,” Axios cited the Western source as saying. “The moment of truth will come in the next few weeks.”

Mediators are attempting to reach an agreement with Hamas regarding ending its governance of the Gaza Strip and its disarmament, according to Axios. The current discussion will reportedly have the terror group lay down its heavy arms first, and only afterward call for the group’s handover of its lighter weapons. READ MORE

After Trying To Dismantle The United States Institute Of Peace Through DOGE, President Trump Has Now Taken It Over And Renamed It After Himself

President Donald Trump’s name has been added to the sign on the United States Institute of Peace headquarters in downtown D.C., above the existing building name.

When a sitting president takes a taxpayer-funded, congressionally-chartered institution and renames it after himself, you are not witnessing humility — you are witnessing prophecy-level delusion. Yesterday, America watched as the United States Institute of Peace was rebranded the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace, a move that tells you far more about the times we’re living in than it does about Donald Trump.

“I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” John 5:43 (KJB)

The man who once threatened to “obliterate” nations at the press podium now calls himself the peace president, and the world applauds as if this were a normal development. But your King James Bible has something to say about men who come in their own name, and it’s not a compliment. Trump plastering his name on the Institute of Peace is not just branding — it’s conditioning. It is preparing a lost world to accept political messiahs who promise peace while consolidating power. The Bible tells us plainly that in the last days, before the coming time of Jacob’s trouble, peace will be the marketing tool of deceivers. America is not witnessing peace; we are witnessing the illusion of peace, manufactured for public consumption while geopolitical tensions simmer and prophetic currents pull the world toward its appointed end. Is Trump the Antichrist? I really don’t know the answer to that question anymore. Do you?

U.S. Institute of Peace renamed for Trump after his administration dismantled the agency

FROM NBC NEWS: The State Department’s X account shared a photo of the new facade on Wednesday in a post that called Trump “the greatest dealmaker in our nation’s history,“ an apparent reference to his work to end multiple conflicts around the world.

“President Trump will be remembered by history as the President of Peace. It’s time our State Department display that,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on X about the name change.

Trump participated in a signing ceremony at the newly renamed building Thursday to mark a peace agreement between the presidents of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo after meeting with them at the White House. Trump had also hosted them for a peace deal signing in June.

“Thank you for putting a certain name on that building,” Trump said at the Thursday event, noting the name-change. “I said, ‘Boy, that is beautiful.’ That blew up last night … that’s a great honor, it really is, on this building. It’s a great honor.”

The agency, which has been known as the U.S. Institute of Peace since Congress established it in 1984, has been embroiled in a legal battle over whether the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency had the power to dismantle it earlier this year. Most of the independent nonpartisan institution’s staff was let go in March. The institute’s mission has been to promote peace internationally and resolve violent conflicts. The research arm of Congress notes the agency has served “as an intermediary among foreign governments, civil society, and U.S. government officials” and “worked in conflict zones with national, regional, and community level stakeholders to connect top-down and bottom-up initiatives.”

An attorney for former leaders and staff of the institute denounced the Trump administration’s move to name the agency after the president in a statement Wednesday.

“Renaming the USIP building adds insult to injury,” said the lawyer, George Foote. “A federal judge has already ruled that the government’s armed takeover was illegal. That judgment is stayed while the government appeals, which is the only reason the government continues to control the building. The rightful owners will ultimately prevail and will restore the U.S. Institute of Peace and the building to their statutory purposes.” READ MORE
