Egyptian opposition group the Muslim Brotherhood said on Saturday it would begin talks with officials on Sunday, Reuters reported. The group told Reuters that talks will assess whether the government is “ready to accept the demands of the people.” “We have decided to engaged in a round of dialogue to ascertain the seriousness of officials towards the demands of the people and their wilingness to respond to them,” a Brotherhood spokesman reportedly said.

“To hear that Mubarak should stay and lead the process of change, and that the process of change should essentially be led by his closest military adviser, who’s not the most popular person in Egypt, without the sharing of power with civilians, it would be very, very disappointing,” ElBaradei said. source – JPost
