Bill Gates Praises UK Socialism Says Obama ‘Should Have More Power’
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, the wealthiest American, said on “some days” he wishes the U.S. political system were like England’s, so that President Barack Obama could have “slightly more power.”
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Gates was asked for his assessment of President Obama’s job performance during an interview at Politico’s “Playbook Cocktails” event.
“Some days I wish we had a system like the U.K. where, you know, the party in power could do a lot and you know, you’d see how it went and then fine you could un-elect them,” said Gates on Wednesday.
“Now, over time, our system has worked slightly better than theirs, theirs has worked okay but so it’s ironic that right now it feels like I wish there was slightly more power in the presidency to avoid some of these deadlocks. So I think what he Obama wants to do and what he’s actually able to do, the gap is so big there that it’s hard to know in some ways.” source – Daily Caller

I’ve always questioned Gates’ overall intelligence. I give him credit for the technical knowledge he has, but over the years I’ve noticed weird things he’s said and done and they were not the things of a truly wise person .
I wouldn’t trust his judgment outside the computer world. I think he could much better things with his wealth than he’s done.

Has he not been watching what’s happening in America, we are losing what it means to be America. Hello – I couldn’t agree more with everyone’s comments. And when I read these comments it reassures me that there are other people out there that are thinking along the same lines as me. But…I am also ashamed that my thoughts are so consumed like this. America as we all knew it will never be the same. Why? Because God has taken his loving, caring, protective hand off of our country. Because of our sin and rebellion. towards Him. And, that is why I get so frustrated with myself. Because what I know O is doing…I can’t stop any of it. But what makes me disappointed in myself is …If I know this is going on…and I know why this going on…Then…Focus on God. Focus on Jesus coming for His bride. Focus on making sure myself and family and friends and strangers are ready for His coming. Something like a asteriod hitting the USA would cause the USA to go bankrupt or if the Rapture occurred and thousands of our government personnel, justice dept, financial people, just vanished into this air, that would cause a financial meltdown!
As I do believe that their are many christians that are politicians, wall street advisers, justice dept., local police, FBI, CIA personnel that would cause many problems. Then airlines pilots just vanished, then these aircraft just crash causing billions in property damages, car wreaks, 1000′s of people recieving emergency services, this would cause a melt down!
