Obama Press Sec’y Jay Carney REFUSES To Name Jerusalem As Capital Of Israel
Obama’s position has not changed
And God’s position hasn’t changed either. Speaking of Jerusalem He said this – “Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls…For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.” Zechariah 2
The one true thing that Jay Carney did manage to say was that Obama’s position of refusing to name Jerusalem as the capital of Israel indeed has not changed. Nor will it. Why, you ask? Because Obama views Jerusalem as the capital of the new Palestinian state he has his heart set on creating. That’s why.

From Yahoo News: White House spokesman Jay Carney refused to directly say which city is the capital of Israel during a press briefing Thursday, saying only “our position has not changed.”
Oy vey, that’s a tough question!
“I haven’t had that question in a while,” Carney said with a slight laugh when a reporter asked whether the Obama administrationconsiders Jerusalem or Tel Aviv to be Israel’s capital. “Our position has not changed.”
“What’s the capital?” the reporter repeated.
“You know our position,” Carney said.
The exchange grew somewhat heated when World Net Daily’sLester Kinsolving interjected, “She doesn’t know, that’s why she asked…she does not know, she just said she doesn’t know — I don’t know!”
Carney still held firm, saying only, “Our position hasn’t changed.” source – Yahoo News

Yes, right you are. Muslims have strong feelings for the city, and even some Jews digging under the Temple Mount touched off a hornet’s nest. I think they were looking for the hidden Ark of the Covenant. Yasser Arafat also wished to be buried in Jerusalem. But they had to settle for some Jerusalem soil atop his casket. Too hot to handle.

Amen! Throughout the pages of the Old and New Testament, Jerusalem is mentioned in the past, present and future (prophetic) context.
When Obama first came on the scene, calling himself a Christian, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Then he insisted that the Sermon on the Mount was a Gay Rights declaration. Now this!
If my sources are correct, JERUSALEM is NOT mentioned in the Qu’ran. But I have a theory as to why the Muslins want it. …. (I could be wrong, just guessing) see, those who have the capital city, get the nation. Obama and co. have the world breathing down Israel’s neck for that city. Well, SOMEONE is going to have Obama’s neck if he keeps on his current course.

This Carney guy remind me when I read in 1kings when Solomon took over the kingdom and Jeroboam the speaker of the people at that time came to “Rehoboam”, and asked him to lighten the burden that his father has had put on them, as we know Solomon was taxing the people heavily so that he can live the life he was living. “I can only imagine”, but after further communicating with his advisers, ” The many Corney’s”, he refuse to do it and that is how Israel begins its downfall… God bless US, always…

israeli governments are as much to blame as US ones – the reality – that from 1948-1967 the Islamic world ethnically cleansed then practiced racial/religous exclusion in the areas it governed is not publicised – the UN has embassies in Jerusalem that are no better than outposts for spying on Israel – I have never understood why Left and Right have been such cowards – but this is why we are all losing the propaganda war.

I looked it up. Jerusalem is the capital, “but not internationally recognized”. It’s a touchy thing right now. No matter. When Jesus touches down in glory on Mt. Moriah, Jerusalem will become the capital of the world!
