Walgreens has removed a roll of gift wrap from its stock after a Jewish customer spotted swastikas in the design
Cheryl Shapiro picked out the silver and blue paper in the Hanukkah section of her local store while shopping for presents with her grandson.
Without commenting on the design, executives agreed to pull the product.
‘We are in the process of removing the product from our stores,’ Walgreens spokesman Phil Caruso told NBC4.
He added that other stores will follow suit.
It is not known how many rolls were removed from sale.
