Vatican Passes New Necrophilia Relics Guidelines Banning The Sale Of Body Parts Of Catholic ‘Saints’

The Vatican’s saint-making office has updated its rules governing the use of relics for would-be saints, issuing detailed new guidelines Saturday that govern how body parts and cremated remains are to be obtained, transferred and protected for eventual veneration.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The dictionary defines necrophilia as, among other things, an “unnatural attraction to dead bodies”. Many people don’t know that nearly every Catholic Church on earth, when it is built, has body parts of some dead Catholic “saint” built into the altar. This grotesque practice is called “veneration”, the body parts are called “relics”, and the prayers to “saints” that are generated from it are a foundational part of Catholic worship. The Bible however defines this as idolatry, and as you might suspect, condemns it. So when you read this article, just remember that it’s about the Catholic Church passing new rules to protect the body parts of the dead people they worship. Any wonder why Revelation refers to this unholy, corrupt system as the Whore of Babylon? 

“So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Revelation 17:3-5 (KJB)

The instructions explicitly rule out selling the hair strands, hands, teeth and other body parts of saints that often fetch high prices in online auctions. They also prohibit the use of relics in sacrilegious rituals and warn that the church may have to obtain consent from surviving family members before unearthing the remains of candidates for sainthood.

Officials said the guidelines were necessary given some obstacles that had emerged since the rules were last revised in 2007, particularly when surviving relatives and church officials disagreed. One current case before a U.S. appeals court concerns a battle over the remains of Fulton Sheen, an American archbishop known for his revolutionary radio and television preaching in the 1950s and 1960s.

Sheen’s niece went to court to force the archdiocese of New York to transfer Sheen’s body from under the altar of St. Patrick’s Cathedral to Peoria, Illinois, where Sheen was born, ordained a priest and where his sainthood cause has been launched by Peoria’s bishop.

The New York archdiocese refused and appealed a 2016 lower court ruling in favor of the niece. A decision from the appeals court is expected soon.

Monsignor Robert Sarno of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Causes of Saints said it’s impossible to know what difficulties could complicate a saint-making case or whether the new guidelines might have helped avoid the legal battle over Sheen.

But Sarno said the Vatican believed the updates were needed anyway to provide bishops around the world with a detailed, go-to guide in multiple languages to replace the Latin instructions that provided only general rules to follow.

New to the protocols is a section that makes clear that bishops must have the “consent of the heirs” in regions where the bodies of the dead legally belong to surviving family members. The revised instructions lay out in detail how a body is to be unearthed, saying it must be covered with a “decorous” cloth while a relic is being taken and then re-buried in clothes of similar style.

The guidance also explicitly allows for cremated remains to be used as relics. For most of its 2,000-year history, the Catholic Church only permitted burial, arguing that it best expressed the Christian hope for resurrection. But in 1963, the Vatican explicitly allowed cremation as long as it didn’t suggest a denial of faith about resurrection.

The new instruction also makes clear that bishops must agree in writing to any transfer of the remains, and calls for absolute secrecy when a body is unearthed and a relic taken for eventual veneration.

The document repeats church teaching that relics from candidates for sainthood can only be venerated publicly once they have been beatified, the first step to possible sainthood. source

The official Catholic position on the placing a relics in the altar of a Catholic church:

  • QUESTION: I would like to know the present teaching of the Church, with documentary evidence, on fixing relics of the saints at the altar of Holy Mass. — K.S., Nagapattinam, India
  • ANSWER: The General Instruction of the Roman Missal, No. 302, contains the following statement: “The practice of placing relics of Saints, even those not Martyrs, under the altar to be dedicated is fittingly retained. Care should be taken, however, to ensure the authenticity of such relics.”

This statement summarizes the more detailed treatment of this question found in other documents such as the Roman Pontifical, Dedication of a Church and an Altar, and in the Ceremonial of Bishops.

No. 866 of this latter book indicates the basic norms for relics:

“The tradition in the Roman liturgy of placing relics of martyrs or other saints beneath the altar should be preserved, if possible. But the following should be noted:

  • “a. such relics should be of a size sufficient for them to be recognized as parts of human bodies; hence excessively small relics of one or more saints must not be placed beneath the altar;
  • “b. the greatest care must be taken to determine whether the relics in question are authentic; it is better for an altar to be dedicated without relics than to have relics of doubtful authenticity placed beneath it;
  • “c. a reliquary must not be placed upon the altar or set into the table of the altar; it must be placed beneath the table of the altar, as the design of the altar permits.” source

Author Ray Dalio Issues A Chilling Warning That The Current Chaos Around The Globe Is Part Of A Larger Struggle That May Soon Erupt Into World War

Bridgewater founder and billionaire Ray Dalio is warning that the conflicts now raging across the globe are not isolated events, but connected parts of a growing superpower struggle. What the world calls ‘geopolitical instability’ is actually the steady setup for the prophesied last days. Dalio warned this week that the globe is already moving through the early stages of world war, and that the conflicts now erupting around the world are not isolated crises, but pieces of a much larger military and economic struggle between major superpowers. On that point, he is exactly right.

“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:7,8 (KJB)

Have you really been paying attention to what’s been going on around the world? Gaza lies in ruins, Iran lies in ruins, Lebanon is being reduced to rubble on a daily basis and the common denominator between those things is the nation of Israel. Add to that the closing of the Strait of Hormuz which enriches Russia by $270 million to $760 million on a daily basis. China is benefitting as well as they sit back and watch the United States spending hundreds of billions in an unwinnable war in Iran.

‘For today, that is most importantly that the US-Israel-Iran war is just part of a world war that we are in and that isn’t going to end anytime soon,’ Dalio said.

Dalio’s world war warning lies in how global alliances are forming, with a clear alignment emerging. He says China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and Cuba are broadly opposed to a bloc led by the United States and its allies including European countries, Israel, Japan and Australia. He pointed to United Nations voting patterns, treaties and economic ties as evidence of this division, suggesting these alignments are already influencing outcomes. According to Dalio, we are now at Step #9 on his 13 Step outline that shows the ramp up to world war. In his 2021 best-selling book, The Changing World Order, you can read his entire premise.

The 13 Steps That Lead To World War:

  1. The decline of dominant powers relative to rising ones
  2. Escalating economic wars such as sanctions and trade blockages
  3. The formation of economic, military and ideological alliances
  4. An increase in proxy wars
  5. Financial stress, deficits and debts increase, especially for the leading powers that are most overextended financially.
  6. Government control increases over critical industries and supply chains
  7. The weaponization of trade chokepoints
  8. Powerful new technologies for war are built rapidly
  9. Multi-theatre conflicts increasingly happen simultaneously
  10. Suppression of internal dissent, as loyal support for the country’s leadership is demanded and opposition to the war and other policies is squashed
  11. Direct military combat between major powers takes place
  12. There are big increases in taxes, debt issuance, money creation, FX controls, capital controls and financial repression to finance the wars. In some cases, markets are shut down
  13. Eventually, one side beats the other and gains indisputable control of the new order, which is designed by the winning side

Ray Dalio is not, to the best of my knowledge, a saved man, and neither does he invoke scripture is his warning to the world he gave this week. But I know this. I know that the entire world is now watching, and has been watching for some time now, the escalating events that absolutely do lead to world war. Think of what’s happening right now. Vice President JD Vance is in Pakistan alongside of Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, trying to finagle a satisfying conclusion to the war with Iran that, thus far, Trump has been unable or unwilling to obtain militarily even though he started the war in the first place. The world order is not merely unstable, it is highly unstable, and at this point it will take very little more to blow the whole thing sky high.

The 2026 NTEB Camp Meeting Weekend Is Coming This September With Powerful Preaching, Sweet Fellowship And A Burden For Reaching The Lost In The Last Days

It’s time to get excited for the 2026 NTEB Camp Meeting Weekend this September, and if there was ever a time for God’s people to gather, get strengthened, and get serious about the work of the ministry, that time is now. The world is racing headlong into darkness, confusion, apostasy, and chaos, but the mission of the Church in this present age has not changed one bit. We are still commanded to preach the gospel, still called to be lights in a dark place, and still entrusted with the greatest message this world will ever hear. That is why the theme for this year’s camp meeting could not be more timely: “Reaching The Lost In The Last Days.”

This year it’s more than just a Camp Meeting, it is the burden of the hour. While much of professing Christianity is distracted by entertainment, programs, and compromise, we want to keep our eyes fixed on the work the Lord gave us to do. Souls are perishing, time is short, but the doors are still open, and the fields are white already to harvest. Now is the time to go, now is the time to witness, and now is the time to do all we can while it is yet day. This year’s missions-focused Camp Meeting will help you get there.
