Trump Administration Orders Military-Grade Weaponry To Be Given To Local Police Forces Across America

Jeff Sessions formally announced that the Trump administration will restart giving surplus military weapons and equipment to state and local police forces.

Speaking to the Fraternal Order of Police in Tennessee on Monday morning, Attorney General Jeff Sessions formally announced that the Trump administration will restart giving surplus military weapons and equipment to state and local law enforcement.

“A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty. The means of defence against foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home.” James Madison Speech, Constitutional Convention (1787-06-29)

EDITOR’S NOTE: I 100% support our local police, and I 100% support our president, but I do not support giving military-grade battle weaponry to our local police forces. There should be a very clear line of division between military soldiers and police officers, and giving them battlefield weapons and equipment blurs that line to the point of invisibility. Our founding fathers warned against a military presence in the homeland, for any reason other than an attack by a foreign enemy. If America’s police become soldiers, then a state of war will be deemed to exist. The only question will be who is the actual enemy.

That’s a mistake. What kind of equipment are we talking about? Well, Haverhill, Mass., a town of fewer than 65,000, got a nearly 20-ton Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle. Keene, NH, a town of fewer than 30,000, got an 8-ton armored BearCat. Over 10,000 bayonets have been handed out. Yes, bayonets.

Police work is unquestionably difficult — and often thankless. I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for those who put it all on the line to protect our communities, and I saw their bravery firsthand this summer when Capitol Police officers made all the difference during the attack on our congressional baseball game practice.

To support our local police, we must first realize they aren’t soldiers. But today the line between the two is being eroded.

It’s no surprise you can find big government right at the heart of this problem. Washington has incentivized the militarization of local police precincts by using federal dollars to help municipal governments build what are essentially small armies — where police departments compete to acquire military gear.

Plus, over a third of the “surplus” equipment is new, so it’s disingenuous to portray it as banged-up old stuff lying around the garage.

When we couple militarizing law enforcement with the erosion of civil liberties and due process that allows the police to become judge and jury — national security letters, no-knock searches, broad general warrants, pre-conviction asset forfeiture — we see the magnitude of the problem.

National Review’s John Fund has observed: “The proliferation of paramilitary federal SWAT teams inevitably brings abuses that have nothing to do with either drugs or terrorism. Many of the raids they conduct are against harmless, often innocent, Americans who typically are accused of nonviolent civil or administrative violations.”

Fund also notes: “By 2005, at least 80 percent of towns with a population between 25,000 and 50,000 people had their own SWAT team,” and that “the number of raids conducted by local police SWAT teams has gone from 3,000 a year in the 1980s to over 50,000 a year [in 2014].”

Given these developments, it’s natural for many Americans — especially minorities, given the racial disparities in policing — to feel like their government is targeting them. Anyone who thinks that race does not still, even if inadvertently, skew the application of criminal justice isn’t paying close enough attention. Our prisons are full of black and brown men and women who are serving inappropriately long and harsh sentences for nonviolent mistakes in their youth.

Our Justice Department should be leading the conversation on reforming the system, not setting it back further.

Americans must never sacrifice their liberty for an elusive and dangerous — or false — security. The militarization of our law enforcement is just another symptom of an overall problem that stems from an unprecedented expansion of government power — where we are repeatedly asked to make such “liberty for what we tell you is security” tradeoffs.

Ultimately, if we sacrifice the very nature of the institutions we have set up to enforce the law, what kind of law will we end up enforcing?

When Congress returns, I will reintroduce my Stop Militarizing Our Law Enforcement Act, which will address this issue by prohibiting the federal transfer of militarized equipment to state and local law enforcement, including MRAP vehicles, drones and armored vehicles transferred through the Department of Defense’s 1033, Department of Justice’s Byrne Justice Assistance Grant and Department of Homeland Security’s grant programs.

This prohibition only applies to offensive equipment and not defensive equipment, such as body armor. It’ll increase these programs’ transparency and accountability and also help us find out how federal agencies are using military-style training and equipment.

I have been encouraged by how much progress we have made under President Trump to roll back overzealous government and get unnecessary regulation off the American people’s backs. In cutting onerous regulations, the president has made clear he is listening to the American people.

I urge President Trump and Attorney General Sessions to listen to the concerns Americans have raised regarding police militarization and reconsider their decision. source

Fallout Continues To Spread As Large Segment Of MAGA Movement Feels Deeply Betrayed By Trump Administration Burying Epstein Client List Info

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

Donald Trump has ordered his lieutenants Pam Bondi, Kash Patel and Dan Bongino to make the Jeffrey Epstein client list disappear, they did, and MAGA is furious

Donald Trump yesterday did exactly what we told you last summer he was going to do should he win reelection to the White House, and we told in a dozen different Podcasts from last July to yesterday. Trump ordered his handpicked appointees to 86 all existing information on the Jeffrey Epstein Client List, and Pam Bondi, Dan Bongino and Kash Patel did as they were ordered to do. Trump couldn’t care less if you don’t like it, it’s done, and he’s all done talking about it. Deep State 1, MAGA 0. That’s the memo.

“LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?” Psalm 94:3 (KJB)

From the moment Trump took office in January, he’s made some very sketchy moves, the economy has not gotten better, gas prices have not come down, but hey, at least he solved that transgender swimmer problem. One of the reasons people voted for him, as I did, was his promise to reveal the Deep State actors and dismantle their operations. He promised to publish the Epstein Client List, Pam Bondi said she had it on her desk and soon everything would be known. Yesterday, in a move that has shaken MAGA to their core, Trump got rid of any and all evidence of the client list, of the flight log list, and of all the people who visited Epstein’s “orgy island”. Any and all information that could convict people like Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, and all the other politicians and tech titans who are rumoured to be on the list has disappeared forever. The man who promised to reveal it is now the man who has covered it all up. Is that what you voted for? We told you last November, voting for Kamala or Trump would give you two different rides, but the destination is the same. Now you see what I was talking about.

Trump has caused massive division within his own MAGA Movement after Epstein Client list debacle

FROM MSN: Over the weekend, the Justice Department announced that its investigation had come up with nothing new to say about Epstein’s case, undermining years of conspiracy theories that some administration officials had previously pushed. Some right-wing figures have accused the federal government of a massive cover-up to protect powerful associates of Epstein who may have abused teenage girls. They have also questioned the official account of Epstein’s death in custody, which was ruled a suicide.

During the Cabinet meeting, Trump criticized a reporter’s question about Epstein, saying the case was no longer important.

“Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years,” Trump said. “I can’t believe you were asking a question on Epstein at a time like this. We’re having some of the greatest success, and also tragedy with what happened in Texas. It just seems like a desecration.”

Despite Trump’s dismissal, conspiracy theories about Epstein have been a major concern among a subset of his vocal supporters. White House staff on Monday strategized to try to keep the fallout to a minimum. The president’s own attempt to show support for FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino faced pushback from some of his supporters on Truth Social. Some MAGA voices, including pro-Trump commentator Laura Loomer, called for firing Attorney General Pam Bondi. Loomer also called for Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins’ ouster over the migrant worker proposal.

“As someone who voted for the president, campaigned for the president a lot — I’m not attacking the president, but I think even people who are fully on board with the bulk of the MAGA agenda are like, ‘This is too much, actually,’” Tucker Carlson said about the administration’s Epstein memo in a taped conversation he posted Tuesday.

“I’m saying that with love, and I hope that they’re listening. Because I think this threatens to blow up the whole thing.”

Multiple White House officials dismissed such warnings, noting that polling does not show the Epstein case to be anywhere near the top issue animating voters. They also pointed to the Trump administration’s work to drive down prices and bring an end to various foreign conflicts, among other recent policy victories.

“If people want to leave Donald Trump — he was the founder of the MAGA movement, he’s sacrificed more than any person who’s ever run for office in our nation’s history, he almost lost his life twice, gave up his successful business, fought off more than 130 indictments, was threatened with imprisonment to lead our country — over a conclusion provided by the Department of Justice over Jeffrey Epstein, that does not seem like a rational choice,” the senior White House official said.

A second White House official, also speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations, told The Washington Post that although there will always be topics that Trump’s supporters disagree about, the president’s loyal base will not stop supporting him as a result of the Epstein investigation.

“They’re not going to hang up their MAGA hat and call it a day,” the official said, referring to the critics as a “vocal minority.” “By no means are the loud people on X an accurate representation of the nearly 80 million people who voted for the president,” the official said. READ MORE

If You Study History, The Fact That New Federal Prison Alligator Alcatraz Was Built From The Ground Up In Only 8 Days Should Terrify You, Seriously

Published

on

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

The first photos of ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ give a bleak inside look at the new migrant center deep in the Florida Everglades — as authorities prepare to stash up to 5,000 detainees in wire cages.

The Dachau Concentration Camp was established in March 1933, shortly after Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of Germany, and it was not created initially to slaughter Jews by the millions. Far from it, Dachau was a repurposed former military base that held opponents of the Nazi regime, political dissidents and illegal aliens. The establishment of the camp also aimed to scare the German people into obeying and supporting the Nazi regime. In short, it was a terrifying place you would never want to be sent to. Alligator Alcatraz is such a place, with the terror level hitting a 10 on the end times meter. The fact that the whole camp was built, from start to finish in 8 days, should terrify you. You better pray this isn’t the first of many, and that’s the memo.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9 (KJB)

If you think comparing Alligator Alcatraz to the Dachau concentration camp is “a bridge too far”, you might want to go back and read about everything you missed in history class when you were back in high school. Dachau was simply a holding center for foreigners and political enemies, right up to the day that it wasn’t. Dachau became the template for what would spread to multiple countries and eventually killing 12 million people. With the construction of Alligator Alcatraz, funded by the people at FEMA, we now have a template for camps that can be built in all 50 states in under 2 weeks apiece. Trump said this yesterday: “Well, I think would like to see them in many states. Really, many states,” the president said. “And, you know, at some point, they might morph into a system.” Dachau was a holding center, then it became a system and finally an industry. Already, plans are in the works for another massive immigrant center on the site of Camp Blanding here in Clay County, Florida.

“The request for proposals is out,” said Kevin Guthrie, executive director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management, referencing a government process for seeking bids from contractors. “… It closes Wednesday at 5 o’clock. Then we will do notice to proceed. So, I would say right after our wonderful Independence Day, we will be starting construction there at that facility.

And tick, tock, goes the end times clock. Happy Independence Day.

Stark first photos from inside ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ reveal bleak digs for up to 5,000 migrants

FROM THE NY POST: Video taken during a tour by President Trump on Tuesday revealed rows upon rows of empty industrial metal bunk beds enclosed in hastily constructed cages made up of chain fences.

“Biden wanted me in here, that son of a b—h,” President Trump said jokingly Tuesday as he was shown around the vast secure facility hidden within the subtropical wetlands of South Florida teeming with alligators, crocodiles and pythons.

“I looked outside, and that’s not a place I want to go hiking anytime soon,” Trump told reporters after his tour. “We’re surrounded by miles of treacherous swampland, and the only way out is really deportation.”

The complex, located at the Dade Collier Training and Transition Airport, will cost an estimated $450 million a year to operate, and the first migrants are set to arrive as soon as Wednesday. Some of the cost of the facility — which Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said was built in just eight days — will be reimbursed from FEMA’s Shelter and Services Program, officials said.

The site features at least 200 security cameras, 28,000 feet of barbed wire and more than 400 security personnel, officials said.

Dubbed ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ or “Gator Gitmo,” the state-built facility in Florida’s infamous Alligator Alley aims to help ICE reach its migrant deportation targets. It lies in the middle of Route 41 — the road that crosses the south of the Sunshine State from Miami to Naples.

“There’s only one road leading in, and the only way out is a one-way flight,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Monday ahead of President Trump’s visit. “It is isolated and surrounded by dangerous wildlife and unforgiving terrain.”

Former President Obama said jokingly in 2011 that Republicans were so hardline, they would demand to use alligators to deter illegal immigrants — and Trump and DeSantis have now made that a reality. The Trump administration has played up the dangerous gator-infested surroundings of the center, sharing memes of alligators wearing ICE hats on Department of Homeland Security social-media accounts and even selling “Alligator Alcatraz”-related merchandise.

Around 100 National Guard troops will be sent to the site about 37 miles from Miami to help provide security, DeSantis said Tuesday. Trump said jokingly that new detainees were going to be taught how to evade alligators by Homeland Security.

“We’re going to teach them how to run away from an alligator, OK, if they escape from prison,” he said. “How to run away. Don’t run in a straight line. Run like this,” he added, making zigzag motions with his hands.

Opponents have slammed the scheme as inhumane, with one X user comparing footage of the site to “a concentration camp” and adding that they couldn’t see any air conditioning or vents inside the facility. READ MORE

Donald Trump Explodes And Loses Control As Ceasefire Falters After Iran Fires Rocket That Kill Four Jews In Beersheba And Israel Vows To Repay

Published

on

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

President Donald Trump issued a blunt warning to Israel on Tuesday to “not bomb Iran” as he departed for the NATO summit in The Hague, taking a critical position just 24 hours after brokering a fragile ceasefire already threatened after a missile strike from Iran.

President Donald Trump went full-tilt explosive after hearing that Iran had broken the ceasefire with an attack on Israel that wound up killing 4 in Beersheba, ordering Israel not to respond. He dropped an expletive deleted as he exclaimed that both sides, Israel and Iran, had no idea what they were doing. Those are words spoken by a man who has very little understanding of why Israel and Iran are at war with each other, and have been since 1979. That’s the memo.

“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.” Zechariah 14:16 (KJB)

Donald Trump is not so much about peace in the Middle East as he is about scoring notches on the legacy belt of his presidency. But making peace is a tricky thing if you don’t understand the nature of the conflict. “Israel has to calm down, I have to get Israel to calm down,” he said. “I’m gonna see if I can stop it.” Why didn’t he say that about Iran, why is it always Israel that has to ‘calm down’? As we have long told you, Iran will break any and every treaty or deal they make, that’s who they are. Israel needs to fight this war until the regime in place in Tehran falls to the ground. Anything less is a pathetic waste of time, treasure and human lives. The prophet Daniel says “and unto the end of the war desolations are determined”, I agree with that.

Trump Goes Absolutely Berserk on Iran and Israel as Ceasefire Deal Crumbles

FROM MEDIAITE: Speaking to reporters before takeoff, the president said that both Israel and Iran had breached the terms of the truce and made clear he was “not pleased” with Israel’s promise to launch retaliatory airstrikes after agreeing to the deal.

Asked by a reporter about whether Iran had violated the ceasefire Trump replied: “They violated but Israel violated it, too.”

The president continued: “Israel as soon as we made the deal they came out and they dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I had never seen before. The biggest load that we have seen. I’m not happy with Israel.”

He added: “You know, when I say ‘okay, now you have 12 hours’ – you don’t go out in the first hour just drop everything you have on them. So I’m not happy with them. I’m not happy with Iran either. But I’m really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning because the one rocket that didn’t land, that was shot, perhaps by mistake, that didn’t land, I’m not happy about that.”

Before departing, he said: “We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard, that they don’t know what the f*** they are doing.”

In a further post on Truth Social just moments later he wrote:

ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

The comments come as the Israeli military vowed to carry out “intense” retaliatory strikes on Tehran following ballistic missile attacks from Iran that struck Beersheba on Tuesday morning, killing at least four civilians. In response, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered a “forceful” counteroffensive, targeting what he described as “the heart of Tehran.”

Trump says Iranian missile didn’t land, but it did and it killed Jews

Israel’s top military officials framed the action as a response to a “grave violation” of the US-brokered ceasefire and vowed Iran would “pay.”

Tehran denied any role in the attacks. Iranian state media claimed that “reports published about missile launches from Iran toward the occupied territories after imposing a ceasefire on the Zionist regime are denied,” accusing Israel of fabricating the provocation. The ceasefire agreement – announced late Monday by Trump from Palm Beach – was meant to phase out hostilities within 24 hours. READ MORE
