One week after its birth the heifer underwent an extensive examination by rabbinical experts, who determined that the heifer is currently a viable candidate for the Biblical red heifer
The Temple Institute in Jerusalem is a fascination organization if you have an interest in end times Bible prophecy. They have spent decades painstakingly recreating all the vessels needed for Temple worship, and their attention to detail is truly breathtaking.
Just a few days ago they announced that a candidate for a perfect red heifer has been born in Israel, and it sent waves of excitement across the prophetical world. But as we shall soon see, there is a ‘fly in the ointment’ regarding the Temple they wish to see built.
“This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:” Numbers 19:2 (KJV)
FROM THE TEMPLE INSTITUTE: On the 17th day of Elul, 5778, (August 28, 2018), a red heifer was born in the land of Israel. The red heifer candidate is being raised and specially cared for under the auspices of the Temple Institute’s ‘Raise a Red Heifer‘ program.
One week after its birth the heifer underwent an extensive examination by rabbinical experts, who determined that the heifer is currently a viable candidate for the Biblical red heifer (para aduma) described in Numbers, chapter 19, and will be examined again in three months time to determine whether it continues to possess the necessary qualifications for the red heifer, a necessary prerequisite for the renewal of the Divine service in the Holy Temple.
The rabbinical experts who conducted the examination stress that the heifer, while currently bearing the required qualifications could, at any time in the future, become disqualified through natural causes, and therefore the heifer will be periodically reexamined. READ MORE
What The Bible Says About The Coming Third Jewish Temple Will Shock You To Your Core
The first Temple God had the Jews build was called Solomon’s Temple, and it was glorious. The second Temple is commonly known as Herod’s Temple, and it was the one that was active during the earthly ministry of Jesus. The prophet Ezekiel tells us that there will be a Temple during the Millennial Reign of King Jesus, and describes it in great and graphic detail in chapters 40 through 48 of the book that bears his name.
“In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south. And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel. And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.” Ezekiel 40:2-5 (KJV)
But the Bible also tells us that between Herod’s Temple and the Millennial Temple of King Jesus, there will also be a Jewish Temple that will exist during the time of Jacob’s trouble, otherwise known as the Great Tribulation. This Temple will be unlike any of the other Jewish Temples in that it will be the one that will house Antichrist. Jesus Himself in Matthew 24 tells us when this event will take place.
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:” Matthew 24:15,16 (KJV)
When we go to Daniel 9 as Jesus directs us to, we see the ‘rest of the story’ awaiting us there.
“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9: 24-27 (KJV)
What is the Antichrist doing in the rebuilt Jewish Temple?
This time of great tribulation, the time of Jacob’s trouble, begins when Jesus opens the First Seal in Revelation 6 and unleashes the false messiah the Bible calls the Antichrist. It will be a 7 year period of trial and testing that will come upon the whole world in general, and on Israel and the Jews in particular.
During this time, Satan in the form of Antichrist will attempt to claim Israel and Jerusalem for himself. Indeed, the Battle of Armageddon fought at the Second Coming will be a battle for control of the Holy Land. And when Antichrist presents himself in the rebuilt temple and claims to be God, all Hell on earth literally breaks loose. The Jews at this time will wake up to the fact that they have been following the counterfeit messiah, and will flee to the mountains of the Red Rock city of Selah Petra where God will protect them there for a 3.5 year period.
“Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion. For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest,so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon. Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth. Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land. And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.” Isaiah 16:1-5 (KJV)
The people over at the Temple Institute wish to see the Temple returned to Israel with all their hearts, and I believe that their intentions are good. They have been preparing for it for decades now. But prophetical scripture contained in both the Old and New Testaments warns us about exactly what this next temple will be used for.
“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.” Revelation 11:1,2 (KJV)
As for the Body of Christ, we will leave this earth in the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church before any of this comes to pass. Pray for Israel and the Jewish people that their eyes will be open to the coming ‘strong delusion’ of Antichrist after we go.
