Rabbi Pinchas Winston believes that the latest escalation, which some are calling the most intense to date, could spark the Battle of Gog and Magog, an “end of days” conflict which precipitates the Messianic Redemption.
Everytime that Israel has a major conflict that leads to a war, you will see lots of stories popping up like the one below, telling you that Bible prophecy is ‘about to be fulfilled’ with the Battle of Gog and Magog. But as you will see in just a moment, that is quite the impossibility. Revelation is crystal-clear as to where the Battle of Gog and Magog fits in the end times chronology.
“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Revelation 20:7-10 (KJV)
Working in reverse order, the Battle of Gog and Magog takes places immediately after the Thousand Year Reign of King Jesus is finished on this earth. The Thousand Year Reign takes place after the Battle of Armageddon at the Second Coming, Armageddon and the Second Coming take place after the time of Jacob’s trouble, and Jacob’s trouble takes place after the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church.
As of this writing, the Church is expectantly waiting for ‘that blessed hope‘ of the Rapture, which takes place in Revelation 4:1,2. If the Rapture took place tonight, and I pray that it does as I do everynight, the Battle of Gog and Magog would still be 1,007 years away.
The story below is a typical and excellent example of the non-biblical nonsense from news publishers who have little to no understanding of either the bible or prophecy, as found in either Testament.
Rabbi Pinchas Winston warns that the escalating conflict between Israel and Palestine could be the start of a biblical war.
FROM INFOWARS: Following a botched Israeli special forces raid miles inside Gaza on Sunday evening, Hamas launched 400 rockets and mortars from Gaza, possibly the largest bombardment ever in that time period.
Israel responded by carrying out more than 100 bombings, including the targeting of a Hamas-run television building. According to the Times of Israel, large numbers of IDF troops and tanks are now heading to the border with Gaza.
Rabbi Pinchas Winston believes that the latest escalation, which some are calling the most intense to date, could spark the War of Gog and Magog, an “end of days” conflict which precipitates the Messianic Redemption.
“The First World War was set off by the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand. The 2014 War in Gaza was set off by the murder of three young boys. The same is true for the War of Gog and Magog but even more so,” said Winston, adding that the battle “could be more horrifying than anything we could ever imagine” and “unlike anything that came before”.
Winston cited a description of the war by Rabbi Elijah ben Solomon Zalman, who in the 18th century said that it will last 12 minutes and encompass the world.
“That was inconceivable at the time but now we can envision that as being realistic,” Rabbi Winston said. “There are many aspects described in prophecy that skeptics say are impossible. It is all part of the bigger plan.” READ MORE

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the building of the recording studio, but it also goes to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 12,621 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 13,600 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
