This Is What Happens When You Preach The Gospel Of The Grace Of God On The Streets To A Lost And Dying World

Today while Jay, John and myself were ministering on the streets, the Holy Spirit tapped me with a great idea. Since people are asking me all the time what it's like to be a street preacher, why not take a short 2-minute video showing exactly what happens when we preach? You get to hear what we preach, how it is preached, and most tellingly, you get to see what I see as the people pass by and are asked to consider the Saviour Jesus Christ, and to ponder their own eternal destiny.

This 2-minute video shows you exactly what it is like to be a street preacher, and how the average person on the street will react. This video was shot on the corner of St. George and Hypolita streets in downtown St. Augustine, Florida.

Street preaching is the time-honored way instituted by God for reaching a lost world with the gospel, and reminding the saints that there is work yet to do. God called me to the streets on March 24, 2012, and by His grace I am still doing it (and loving every minute of it, too). Today was an exceptionally beautiful day with beautiful blue skies, mild temps and a soft breeze blowing across the streets from the ocean nearby.

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24 (KJV)

I am able to hand out about 300 tracts per hour on the streets, and rarely see them on the ground when I am finished. I designed these tracts to be tough enough to take a little rain without crumbling, and to look inviting and colorful enough to pique the interest of the people I am handing them to to take one. One the back it asks a life-changing question, and in true open-book test style, provides the answer below.

I hope that this video will inspire you to be a bold witness for Jesus Christ in these last days before the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church takes place. Two little lines I heard one day, Traveling along life’s busy way;
Bringing conviction to my heart, And from my mind would not depart;
Only one life, ‘twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one, Soon will its fleeting hours be done;
Then, in ‘that day’ my Lord to meet, And stand before His Judgment seat;
Only one life, ‘twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the building of the recording studio, but it also goes to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 12,832 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 14,000 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
