Military troops must immediately begin to get the COVID-19 vaccine, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a memo Wednesday, ordering service leaders to “impose ambitious timelines for implementation.”

The Pentagon is wasting no time ordering all active duty military and reservists to begin receiving the COVID-19 vaccine immediately. Makes you wish they had been this decisive and precise with planning our exit from Afghanistan which seems to have not been planned at all, and just kind of thrown together at the last minute.

It’s only a matter of time before the government begins ordering the mass vaccinations of all US citizens as well, and who will be assigned to carry that out? If you guessed the Pentagon you would be correct, and guess what? That plan was created during the Trump administration.

Pentagon: US troops must get their COVID-19 vaccines ASAP

FROM THE AP: More than 800,000 service members have yet to get their shots, according to Pentagon data. And now that the Pfizer vaccine has received full approval from the Food and Drug Administration, the Defense Department is adding it to the list of required shots troops must get as part of their military service.

The Austin memo does not dictate a specific timeline for completing the vaccinations. But it says the military services will have to report regularly on their progress. A senior defense official said that Austin has made it clear to the services that he expects them to move quickly, and that this will be completed in weeks not months.

“To defend this Nation, we need a healthy and ready force,” Austin said in the memo. “After careful consultation with medical experts and military leadership, and with the support of the President, I have determined that mandatory vaccination against coronavirus disease…is necessary to protect the Force and defend the American people.”

Troops will be able to get their Pfizer shots at their bases and from their commands around the world. The Pentagon has said it has enough vaccine supply to meet demand. Individual service members may also go out and get any of the other COVID vaccines on their own. Fulfilling the vaccine mandate, however, may be a challenge for National Guard forces who are scattered around the country, and gather just once a month for their required drills.

According to the Pentagon, there are more than 1.3 million troops on active duty and close to 800,000 in the Guard and Reserve. And, as of Aug. 18, more than 1 million active duty, Guard and Reserve service members were fully vaccinated and nearly 245,000 more had received at least one shot. Senior military leaders have consistently pressed their forces to get vaccines through a wide range of public pleas, and via social media and other campaigns. But — as is true among the U.S. population — many service members have been reluctant.

Defense officials have said it’s critical for troops to get the vaccine because they live and work closely together and outbreaks could hamper the U.S. military’s ability to defend America. Military officials have said they don’t have specific numbers on how many Guard troops are not yet vaccinated, and the Pentagon only provides a troop total that lumps active duty, Guard and Reserve into one statistic.

Guard officials have said all along that it is very difficult to assess how many of their citizen soldiers have gotten a vaccine. And only now will they be able to begin actually tracking the number with more precision as Guard members report to their drill weekends this fall. Austin’s decision to mandate the vaccine fulfills a vow he made earlier this month to require it no later than mid-September, or immediately upon FDA licensure, whichever came first. His move reflects similar actions by governments and companies around the world, as nations struggle with the highly contagious delta variant that has sent U.S. cases surging to heights not seen since last fall.

Hospitalizations and deaths are increasing among the military. Over the past month, the number of service member deaths jumped from 25 to 34 – by more than a third.

“Our vaccination of the Force will save lives,” said the Austin memo. “Thank you for your focus on this critical mission.”

Members of the U.S. military are already required to get as many as 17 different vaccines, depending on where they are deployed. The requirements — which include shots for smallpox, hepatitis, polio and the flu — also provide for a number of temporary and permanent exemptions for either medical or administrative reasons.

Austin in the memo noted that the new requirement will allow for exemptions that are consistent with the current policies for all the other vaccines. Permanent exemptions include serious medical reactions to the vaccine, immune deficiencies such as HIV infection, and “evidence of existing immunity” by a serologic antibody test or “documentation of previous infection or natural infection presumed.”

There also are administrative exemptions, including one for religious reasons. The religious exemption is granted by the military services based on their policies, and it appears to be relatively rare. The decision is made by commanders based on consultation with medical personnel and chaplains.

Briefing the news media on Wednesday, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said commanders are expected to carry out the vaccine order with “skill and and a measure of compassion.” Service members who object, he said, will have the opportunity to meet with medical personnel and with their own leadership, to ensure the troops understand the risks to themselves and their teammates if they don’t take the vaccine.

Asked about specific punishments for noncompliance, Kirby said commanders have a “wide range of tools” to use. “It’s a lawful order and we fully anticipate that our troops are going to follow lawful orders,” he added.

The Navy and the Marine Corps said they have had zero religious exemption requests for other vaccines in recent years and the Air Force said there were few. The Army was not able to provide any data. A little over half of the U.S. population is fully vaccinated with one of the country’s three options, from Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson. The Pentagon decision only applies to the Pfizer vaccine. Moderna has also applied to the FDA for full approval of its vaccine. J&J said it hopes to do so later this year. READ MORE

Beyond Critical: Trump’s Iran War Drains America’s Patriot Missile Stockpile As Putin Threatens A New Escalation Against Ukraine And NATO

Washington therefore finds itself caught in a nightmare equation: Iran is forcing America to expend its missile defenses, Ukraine is forcing Russia deeper into a corner, Russia is contemplating greater military escalation, and America’s ability to defend Europe against that escalation is simultaneously being depleted. And while Washington debates whether Putin will escalate, Russia is already firing waves of ballistic missiles and drones into Ukraine, Ukraine has just set a monthly record for attacks on Russian refineries, Moscow is threatening Western military targets, and Trump says he isn’t worried about Russia attacking NATO — even as America’s premier defense against Russian ballistic missiles remains “beyond critical.” Today we find ourselves at the 6 month anniversary of Trump’s “6 Week War”, with no end or resolution in sight. The Children At The Glory Fellowship Orphanage Have Not Eaten A Meal In The Past Three Days, So We’re Stepping In To Help Keep Their Supply Lines Open

The food has run out for the children at the Glory Fellowship Orphanage in Kenya, and the Lord has given us the calling to step in and do what we can

I got on a video call this morning with Pastor Dancan in Kenya for our weekly Bible Study and discipleship time, and almost immediately I could see he was highly preoccupied with something else. I asked him what was going on, and he said he was troubled because the local people who normally donate beans, rice, banans and oil to help feed the 84 kids in his charge had not supplied him with that recently, and he wasn’t quite sure how to solve the problem. When I asked how long it was since the children had eaten, and he said 3 days, that hit me hard.

“Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.” Isaiah 1:17 (KJB)

I will be honest, my first reaction upon hearing the kids hadn’t eaten in 3 days was not so much sadness, it was anger. Not anger at any person, but it made me mad that such a situation could take place. Fighting mad. So immediately, I instructed our contact in Kenya to deliver to Pastor Dancan enough rice, beans, maize, bananas, cooking oil and salt to solve the immediate need for all the children, some of which has already arrived at the orphanage. The rest, Lord willing, will arrive tomorrow. I am praying that we will be able to keep them fed for the next month or so, and that many reading this article will want to partner with us to meet this pressing need. But what we really need to do for them is get them self-sufficient by planting some basic crops and getting them some chickens, a goat and a cow. The cost to supply them with foodstuffs for the next month is $3,500, and I am right now researching the most feasible way to help them build a little farm. Christian, come and help us to do all this, we need you!!

Nearly two thousand years before electricity, computers, smartphones, cryptocurrency or biometric identification existed, the apostle John stood on the Isle of Patmos and saw a coming world system in which every person would receive a mark in their right hand or in their forehead, and without that mark no one would be permitted to buy or sell; its number would be Six hundred threescore and six. 666 staring you right in your face. John saw a human implantable, biometric device that would contol all buying and selling on a global basis. People have it backwards, it’s not technology driving to prophectic fulfillment, it’s prophecy driving the technology toward the Mark. Just look at what is rising before our very eyes.

Microsoft then produced patent number WO/2020/060606, a cryptocurrency system using bodily activity—pulse, heat, blood flow and brainwaves—as verified data within a digital-currency network. Emerging tech company CipherX has now brought dissolving microneedle tattoo technology out of the laboratory and into the marketplace, permanently placing pixel-like marks into human skin while simultaneously developing its S.M.A.R.T. vaccine patch that confirms successful vaccination with a tattoo. These are not random inventions wandering in unrelated directions; they are complementary pieces moving relentlessly toward the same destination—the body becoming the identity, the mark becoming the record, the biometric becoming the key, and the key determining access to the marketplace. No single institution has yet unveiled the completed Mark of the Beast because no single institution needs to. The system appears to be assembling itself, one vaccine patch, one digital identifier, one biometric sensor and one cryptocurrency transaction at a time. When the man of sin finally steps onto the world stage, he will not need to invent the machinery of Revelation 13; he will simply inherit it, unite it and demand worship through it. The Bible gave us the finished blueprint two thousand years ago, and now fallen man is manufacturing every component with breathtaking precision and rapidity. We are not waiting for prophecy to catch up with technology, technology is racing with all its might to catch up with King James Bible prophecy.
