As far as the mayor of Abu Dis is concerned, Israel has already begun implementing its plan to apply its sovereignty to parts of the West Bank – including his town, southeast of Jerusalem.

When Israel was regathered on May 14th, 1948, in accordance with millenia-old bible prophecies, it sent shock waves around the world. A similar milestone event happened again with the 6-Day War in 1967, a war so incredible that soldiers who fought in it said they witnessed the miracle power of Almighty God in giving Israel the very improbable victory.

“Be it known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is builded with great stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goeth fast on, and prospereth in their hands. Then asked we those elders, and said unto them thus, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls? nd thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.” Ezra 5:8,9,11 (KJB)

Now here in the middle of June 2020, we stand on the precipice of a third such paradigm-shifting event with the annexation of Judea and Samaria, what unsaved people call the West Bank and Gaza Strip, that residents there say has already begun ahead of the July 1st mandated deadline.

“Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” Ezekiel 11:17,19,20 (KJB)

Now is the time for Israel to move, while Trump is still president of America and Netanyahu has yet again dodged all the slings and arrows constantly shot at him by his political enemies. I told you all through 2019 that this year would be the ‘year of prophecy’, and halfway through it, it has not only been that but has far exceeded my previous expectations. Mayor of Abu Dis says “I can tell you 100% that the implementation of the annexation plan has begun.”

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: On Wednesday morning, the mayor, Ahmad Abu Hilal, woke up to the sound of Israeli bulldozers entering the Abu Mugheira area in the Suwwaneh neighborhood of Abu Dis.In recent weeks, every move by the Israeli authorities in the Jordan Valley and some Palestinian villages in the West Bank has been interpreted as a sign that Israel has begun implementing the annexation plan on the ground. Some Palestinians claimed that the IDF has removed signs warning Israeli citizens from entering PA-ruled areas, to pave the way for implementation of the plan.

Others claimed that the Israeli authorities have begun distributing water and electricity bills to Palestinians living in areas that could be annexed by Israel, adding that this was an indication that the Jewish state was serious about its intention to implement the plan.

The bulldozers arrived in Abu Dis to demolish a one-story structure that was under construction, and whose owners had ignored repeated warnings by Israeli authorities to halt the building. The structure belonged to the Surkhi family in Abu Dis. The bulldozers also tore down a wall surrounding a playground.

“I can tell you 100% that the implementation of the annexation plan has begun,” Abu Hilal said. “I see what happened today in Abu Dis as the beginning of the annexation plan.”

How is the demolition of the illegally built structure related to the Israeli annexation plan?

The mayor said that the structure was targeted because it’s “located on the western side of Abu Dis, very close to the Israeli separation wall.” The Old City of Jerusalem is located only a few kilometers to the west of Abu Dis, but the two areas are separated by large concrete slabs that make up the security fence.

Abu Hilal said that in addition to the structure, the bulldozers also demolished a wall surrounding a soccer playground being built by the Abu Dis municipality in coordination with the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Sports and Youths.

“The demolition began around 1:00 am,” Abu Hilal recalled. “We believe the demolition is directly linked to the annexation plan. The structure and wall are located very close to the separation wall and are part of Area C, which is under exclusive Israeli control, he noted.

The annexation plan, if implemented, would “particularly pose a threat to the western parts of Abu Dis,” the mayor claimed. “They [Israel] want to redraw the fence so as to include more land from Abu Dis in the areas slated for annexation.”

In addition, the mayor said, the annexation plan would also see the Palestinian village losing much of its land on its eastern side, where Ma’aleh Adumim is located.
ABU DIS first appeared in the headlines after the signing of the Oslo Accord in 1993.

An unofficial draft agreement between PA President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli politician Yossi Beilin, who in 1995 served as Economic Minister, stated that Jerusalem’s municipal boundaries would be expanded to include nearby Arab neighborhoods (called “Palestinian boroughs”) such as Abu Dis, as well as Ma’aleh Adumim, Giv’at Ze’ev, Givon and adjacent areas. Together, these areas would be called the City of Jerusalem, which would be managed by one municipality with two Israeli and Palestinian sub-municipalities. The Palestinian boroughs would be placed under Palestinian sovereignty, while the Israelis boroughs would be under Israeli sovereignty.

Abu Dis was again in the headlines in 2000, when the PA started building a parliament building there. The construction of the new parliament building sparked rumors that Israel and the PA had reached a secret agreement to turn Abu Dis into the capital of a Palestinian state.

The number of people currently living in Abu Dis is estimated to be 30,000, including thousands of students and faculty members studying and working at Al-Quds (Jerusalem) University, which is also located west of the town, near the security fence.

Abu Dis is located in both Area B and Area C of the West Bank. Some 3000-4000 Abu Dis residents live in Area C, which may end up being under Israeli sovereignty if and when the annexation plan is carried out. The Oslo Accord divided the West Bank into three administrative divisions: Area A, B, and C. Area A is exclusively administered by the PA. Area B is administered by both the PA and Israel. Area C, which contains Israeli settlements, is administered by Israel.

“The Oslo Accord placed our town under Area B and C,” Abu Hilal said.

Voicing concern over the planned annexation, the mayor said that he and the residents of the town have been in touch with the PA prime minister and government to coordinate their efforts to confront the plan.

“The annexation plan will take lots of our land,” he added. “Abu Dis will become much smaller. We will be turned into an enclave with a large number of residents. We will become one of the most densely populated areas in the region. The annexation plan will have demographic, economic and political implications for Abu Dis and its residents.”

Asked if Palestinians living in his town would accept Israeli citizenship as part of the planned annexation, Abu Hilal said: “I don’t believe Israel is interested in giving its citizenship to Palestinians. The Israelis don’t want Palestinians with Israeli citizenship. They are already going after Palestinians living in east Jerusalem who carry Israeli ID cards. Israel is not interested in the [Palestinian] residents; it only wants the land.”

Abu Hilal denied reports in the Israeli media that claimed that the PA had withdrawn its security forces from Abu Dis after Abbas’s May 18 decision to renounce all agreements and understandings with Israel, including security cooperation.

“The Palestinian police is still here; they did not leave,” Abu Hilal explained. “The police station is still here; the security forces only reduced their activities; they’re not doing the same work they used to do before.” READ MORE

Attacks On Christians And Catholics Are Rising In Israel As Catholic Nun Is Kicked To The Ground On The Streets Of Jerusalem

To this lost world, there is little to no distinction made between biblically born again Christians and members of cult and fringe groups like the Roman Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah’s Witness and Seventh Day Adventists. To them, it’s all the same, it’s all Christianity. So for the sake of our discussion today, we will label all of it as “professing Christianity”. That said, there is a verifiable rise on Christians in Israel at the hands of radical Orthodox Jews, and it grows worse by the day. In our story today, we see a Roman Catholic nun kicked to the ground by Orthodox Jews, and this is just the tip of the end times iceberg.

On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, the attacker was not some nameless shadow from a vague “troubled region.” Israeli police arrested a 36-year-old Jewish suspect, and AP reported that the assailant seen in the video was wearing tzitzit, the fringes worn by observant Jewish men. AP also noted that Christian leaders and organizations have been warning of a growing trend of violence and harassment against Christian clergy and pilgrims, often by ultra-Orthodox Jewish youth. There it is. Not rumor, not propaganda, not replacement theology hysteria. A documented pattern. The Rossing Center’s reporting on attacks against Christians in Israel and East Jerusalem says that in known 2024 cases, the perpetrators were Jewish individuals, “primarily young men from ultra-Orthodox and national-religious circles,” driven by a mix of nationalist fervor and religious extremism, especially among ultra-Orthodox nationalist groups. The 2024 report documented 111 incidents, including physical attacks, attacks on church properties, harassment, and defacement, while coverage of the report noted that most victims were clergy or people wearing visible Christian symbols. The Rossing Center’s 2025 report says the harassment and violence are continuing to escalate across Israel and East Jerusalem. Israel’s Pride Land Festival At The Dead Sea Is A Prophetic Slap In The Face To The God Who Burned Sodom And Gomorrha

There are moments when the Bible believer looks at the headlines and feels like they are watching the pages of Scripture rise up, walk off the page, and rebuke the modern world in real time. Israel’s planned Pride Land LGBTQ+ festival at the Dead Sea in June 2026 is one of those moments. Think about the arrogance of it! The very people, the Jews, to whom “were committed the oracles of God”, the word of God, are now the same people who spit in God’s face promoting what He hates. At NTEB, we have always stood with the Jews, supported the nation of Israel and prayed for the peace of Jerusalem. But that support is not a ‘blank check’, and we absolutely call all Christians everywhere to stand against this ‘Pride Land at the Dead Sea’ abomination. Pray for the salvation of the Jews and Israel.

“But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.” Genesis 13:13 (KJB)

The Dead Sea region is not just a pretty desert backdrop for rainbow flags, DJs, hotel packages and global Pride tourism. It is the biblical landscape associated with Sodom and Gomorrha, a place forever linked in the word of God with rebellion, sexual perversion, divine wrath, and the fire of Almighty God falling from Heaven. The same God who rained brimstone and fire on Sodom is now being openly mocked by a generation that thinks judgment is impossible because they have festivals, branding, sponsors, hashtags and hotel reservations. But God is not mocked.

“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Jude 7 (KJB)

That verse says Sodom and Gomorrha were set forth for an example. An example of what? An example of what happens when a people gives itself over to fornication and strange flesh. An example of what happens when sin is no longer hidden in shame, but paraded in the streets with pride. An example of what happens when man shakes his fist in the face of God and declares evil to be good. And now, in the very region where that example still screams from the pages of your King James Bible, Israel is preparing to host what is being promoted as the Middle East’s largest LGBT festival. That is not progress, that’s a provocation. What the world calls inclusion, God calls abomination.

“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” Leviticus 18:22 (KJB)

Now, you can put a rainbow over it, you can attach tourism dollars to it. You can call it diversity, equality, freedom, love, expression, identity or celebration. But the King James Bible still calls it what it is. Sin. It’s an abomination. And no committee, court, government, sponsor, activist group or religious compromiser has the authority to edit what God has already written.

This is the great deception of our day: sinners no longer want forgiveness, they want affirmation. They no longer want mercy from God, they want applause from man. They do not want the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse them from sin; they want the world to reclassify sin as virtue. That is why Pride is such a perfect word for the movement. Pride was the original sin of Lucifer, and it remains the chief operating system of a world in rebellion against God. Israel, of all nations, should know better.

This is the land where the prophets preached. This is the land where the Law was given. This is the land where the Son of God walked, preached, healed, was rejected, crucified, buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. This is the land where Jesus Christ will return at the Second Advent to rule and reign from Jerusalem. And yet, in that same land, the spirit of Sodom is being invited in, celebrated, platformed and packaged as a vacation experience. End times insanity.

That is why this story is so spiritually explosive, it shows you the condition of modern Israel: back in the land physically, but still in unbelief spiritually. God has preserved Israel. God has regathered Israel. God has plans for Israel. But modern Israel is not righteous simply because it is Israel. The ‘rightly dividing’ and dispensational Bible believer understands the difference between God’s covenant purposes for Israel and the present spiritual blindness of Israel.

“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” Romans 11:25 (KJB)

That blindness is on full display when the land of the prophets becomes a stage for the sins of Sodom. Don’t miss the prophetic irony. The Dead Sea is called dead for a reason. It is a lifeless, salt-choked body of water in a region that stands as a grim reminder of judgment. And now Pride Land wants to transform that barren desert into a “colorful pride city.” Man says, “Look what we can build.” God says, “Remember what I burned.”

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;” Romans 1:18 (KJB)

Romans 1 is not ancient history. It is this morning’s headline. It is the moral map of the last days. When a people rejects the God of the Bible, God gives them up. Then He gives them up again. Then He gives them over. That is not revival. That is judgment already in motion.

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:” Romans 1:26 (KJB)

Hey man, that’s not hate speech, so don’t get mad at us for saying it. That is Holy Scripture. The Bible believer doesn’t rejoice in anyone’s destruction. We preach against sin because souls are at stake. The same Bible that condemns sodomy also offers salvation to the sodomite, the fornicator, the drunkard, the idolater, the liar, the thief, the religious hypocrite, and every lost sinner who will come to Jesus Christ by faith.

“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:11 (KJB)

That is the message Pride Land will never preach. Pride says, “Celebrate yourself.” The gospel says, “Deny yourself.” Pride says, “Be who you are.” The gospel says, “Ye must be born again.” Pride says, “No repentance required.” The Bible says without repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ, there is no salvation. Modern Israel needs the same gospel the Gentile nations need. America needs it. Europe needs it. The Middle East needs it. The LGBTQ+ activist needs it. The religious Jew needs it. The Catholic priest needs it. The Baptist preacher needs it. The atheist needs it. Every sinner needs the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

But make no mistake: when Israel hosts a Pride festival by the Dead Sea, it is not a harmless cultural event. It is a prophetic alarm bell. It is Sodom remembered not with trembling, but with celebration. It is the last-days world wrapping itself in a rainbow and daring the God of Heaven to respond. And He will. The first time God judged Sodom with fire from Heaven. The next time, the whole world is headed for the fire of the Day of the Lord after the Church is removed in the Pretribulation Rapture and the time of Jacob’s trouble begins.

“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.” Joel 2:31 (KJB)

This is why we preach, this is why we warn, this is why we do not soften the edges, trim the verses, or apologize for the Book. The same Bible that tells us what happened to Sodom also tells us what is coming upon a Christ-rejecting world. Pride Land at the Dead Sea is not just crazy. It is a signpost. It is a warning. It is a flashing red light on the prophetic dashboard. The King is coming, but Israel is not even close to ready. But Israel will be made ready in the time of Jacob’s trouble. The gentile nations are not ready. The professing church is asleep. The world is drunk on pride, lust, money, religion, technology and rebellion. But Jesus Christ is ready, and the Bible believer had better be ready too. He is coming soon.
