We answer your Top Ten KJV Bible questions
SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

Tonight we answer your Top Ten Bible questions related to rightly dividing and dispensationalism sent in by our readers

On a near daily basis, we receive questions from hungry students of the word of God who are looking for much-needed answers that are generated from their Bible study. The vast majority of the questions we receive are really, and the answers to those questions would benefit not just the person writing, but would be a blessing to countless thousands around the world. So tonight I thought it would be good to make a Top 10 List of the best ones we received, and answer them live on over the air.

“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” Proverbs 30: 5,6 (KJV)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we will be answering your Bible questions, the ones that you have emailed to us or sent in through one of our social media channels. We will look at things like the identity of the 10 Virgins from Matthew 25, who is the Bride of Christ, who is part of the Body of Christ, what exactly is New Jerusalem, will there be Temple sacrifices happening during the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ, and so much more! Not only that, for those of you in the chat room, we will take those questions as well if time permits. Tonight’s program will be a much needed refresher course on understanding both rightly dividing, as Paul commands us to, and the doctrine of biblical dispensationalism. Don’t miss it!

Our Bible Study Is Now Live Right Here

Thanks to your generous giving and praying for us, we are now broadcasting from our own servers and on our own site. We even created a chatroom for people to talk with each other as well. Gone is the outdated Flash technology with all its problems and listener issues. Our new station will be using HTML and php ao it will be easily heard on any mobile device , desktop or laptop computer.

  • NOTE: The Chatroom will open at 8:45 PM EST and will have live music playing. We look forward to having you come and join the NTEB Radio Bible family!

NTEB RADIO BIBLE STUDY: Eternal Security Of The Church Age Believer Has Nothing To Do With You, And Everything To Do With What Jesus Bought

Eternal security is the blessing of salvation in the Church Age, but it did not exist before, and it will not exist after the Church Age comes to an end.

Eternal security is the blessing of salvation in the Church Age, but it did not exist before, and it will not exist after the Church Age comes to an end.

Yesterday on my Facebook page, I posted a previously-published teaching on the wonderful and miraculous eternal security of the Church Age born again believer in Jesus Christ. If you thought such a timely reminder of why Church Age believers can never lose their salvation would be uplifting and comforting, you’d be wrong. It unleashed a firestorm of people telling me why no such thing exists, with many Christians seemingly baffled as to how to respond. When I say that, I knew exactly what tonight’s bible study would be on. Eternal security!

“That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:10-14 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are looking at them amazing action that God performed on the day you got saved. In one, fell swoop, you were judged, found guilty, sentenced to an eternity in Hell, had your ransom paid in full, pardoned, and set free in Jesus Christ. As if all that was not enough, God then directed the Holy Spirit to seal you in with an unbreakable seal that lasts until the day you are raptured on Flight #777, or you die and He takes you home that way.

  • NOTE: On this program, a woman named Dawn prayed to get saved, and there was incredible spiritual opposition from the Devil trying to stop it. It is a most unusual but WONDERFUL program, enjoy!

This is the blessing of salvation in the Church Age, but it did not exist before, and it will not exist after the Church Age comes to an end. Tribulation saints will have to have faith in Jesus Christ, but they will also be required to do the ‘works’ of not taking the Mark of the Beast, and not worshipping the name, number or image of the Antichrist. When you realize they have to do all that while at the same time do battle with the ‘strong delusion’ that’s a tall order! Tonight’s study is a good, old fashioned dose of rightly dividing, and you will come away from it with an increased faith and better understanding of the bible doctrine of eternal security.

This live King James Bible study starts tonight at 9:00 PM EST, please join us, and bring a friend!

On our Sunday and Wednesday night radio bible study, we are preaching and teaching the gospel of the grace of God, rightly divided and dispensationally correct, to a truly global audience who is hungry for the word. These programs would not be possible without your generous support. Listen to just a few of the recent comments we have gotten:

  • “Just received the tracts in the mail yesterday.  So I went grocery shopping with my wife, and took along a few tracts.  They are sure nice, and I love how the QR code on the card takes you to the website. So  I walked up to one of the managers and asked, “Has anyone ever given you one of these?” I handed him  the tract, and he thanked me. I explained to him about the QR code thing in the card. Geoffrey, this is so cool!!!! It was kind of scary, but it was cool to give the tracts.  This was the first time I gave out tracts.z’ God bless you” Tom R
  • “The sole purpose of this email to you is to let you know how much we have been blessed by your amazing ministry/website. ‘We’ is my wife and I, in our early forties, 3 kids, professing, churchgoing, bible believing Christians in The Netherlands.  Since two months, I listen to your bible studies on Sunday evening, and since this week also to your prophecy podcast. I listen to them in the archives, because of the 6 hour time difference. The shofar and the blessing at 0:30 into the study never fails to make tears in my eyes. We are praying for you, we are praying for your voice, that it lasts in these incredible busy times for you. Listening to your podcasts, you seem to do it effortlessly, talking, scanning the chatbox for questions, diving into the texts, from Genesis to Revelation and everything in between, I love it when you realize after 1:30h into the study, actually a lot more subjects need to be addressed! Thank you for all your work and effort, you are doing an amazing job. Although it all seems effortlessly, I know it is not…Our faith is strengthened by your work and we are able to testify in a better way to the people around us!” Wouter D. van der Wiel
  • “Wanted to send you encouragement and thank you for all you are doing!! I’ve been reading from this website for about 5 years and I’ve been on this at least 10 times a day. It’s the most honest prophecy website in history. And you have ministered to me greatly. This lockdown has been amazing as God gets us unto himself and smooths out the paths for us. I was reading devotional from Kenneth Copeland and during that time you had really hit That ministries hard. I was not Word Faith but I was feeding off his teaching. During this time I have removed Kenneth Copeland I wanted to thank you for your exposure of his ministry. Holy Spirit is truly the leader of all truths. The bible study on Bill Gates was tremendous. And I had the same check in my spirit as you did. He’s the guy that gonna lead this one world revolution Amazing times we live in. I’m super excited and living in total victory and peace. Once again thank you for the time you put in your reward in heaven will truly be great. Looking forward to this coming week. My prayer tonight is this …Father send Your Son!! DG
  • Thank you oh so much for sound teaching. I am so thankful and blessed for clicking on your channel. I have been on your Facebook page since 2011 and never subscribed to you-tube channel until today. I loved the live recording of singing, what a delight to hear the joy of the Lord in the voices of the congregation. So wonderful to hear the part about Luke 12:36, that has made my eyebrows furrow when I read and therefore I have always steadfast to not leaning on my own understanding. May God continue to bless you, your family friends and loved ones. All Glory be to Jesus, my Saviour Redeemer and King, Amen.” Susan Anderson
  • Loved this teaching! Presented in a clear contextual manner that was easy to follow along. You connected the dots for me that had previously brought so much confusion, namely the 4th seal covenant, the 5th seal tribulation saints, and the 6th seal 2nd Coming of Christ AFTER the wedding of the Body/Bride of Christ IN HEAVEN. Wow, after 41 years since my being born again by the Holy Spirit in to the Body of Christ, I finally have the answers to end the confusion. What joy and peace has flooded my heart! Thank you for this encouraging teaching of the Word.” SB
  • “I am from Sri Lanka and listen to the radio Bible study every week.” Nihal Perera

Nothing thrills my soul like teaching the word of God, it is what the Lord called me to do 29 years ago, and Now The End Begins is the vehicle in which I am able to do it. How exciting it is to be able to teach the Bible to tens of thousands of people per year. Like I told you with the first post of 2020, I have dedicated myself now full-time to NTEB, and it is only through your generous support that such a thing is possible.

God saved me from a horrible pit and the Holy Spirit lead me to Pastor Charles Lawson many years ago, and now at NTEB. • I just want to thank you for the teachings you give every Sunday night on radio.  You are such a blessing to me. I absolutely love your way of teaching the scriptures.  I don’t have a church where I can have fellowship and teaching, so you have been my teacher for many months now. Thanks God you are there for all of us who have no church to go to.  I pray that the Lord will bless you abundantly in your ministry, and your loved ones too.  You are such a blessing to me, and many others, in these last days before the rapture.  Thank you so much Geoffrey, from the bottom of my heart. May the Lord keep you, until He comes back for us. You are in my prayers.” Donald Godin
  • “Thank you for the work  you are doing brother.  Your page and your testimony were a blessing to me this morning as I came across it for the first time.  Thank you for the reality of your testimony and what God has done for you in introducing you to Jesus our Lord.  God has brought me, in salvation, to Himself as well, through His love and mercy and grace in salvation.  How can we praise Him enough?  How can we not share this good news!?  I pray this day for God’s blessing on your ministry that He may save many souls through the work He has called you to.  Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)” Mark and Melissa

A Bible Believer Looks At Faith, Works And The Judgment Seat Of Christ

The Judgment Seat of Christ is a public judgment in Heaven of the works that you did while on earth in the name of Jesus. It is not a judgment on sin because sin was already dealt with at the cross. If you are saved then all your sins have already been wiped away and forgotten about.

Published

The Judgment Seat of Christ is every believers unavoidable destination

Christian, one day either by your death or by Rapture, YOU will stand before the Lord Jesus Christ at the Judgment Seat. YOUR works for Him will be tried in the fire. YOU will receive rewards based on whichever of YOUR works make it through the fire.

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;” 2 Corinthians 5:10,11a (KJV)

If TODAY was your last day on earth, are you ready to meet Jesus and test your works? It is our fervent hope and prayer that this article will help you to do just that.

Faith & Works

The bible teaches us that there is but one requirement for salvation, and it has nothing to do with anything you ever did or ever will do outside of trusting Christ. It has to do with what Jesus did on the cross. Paul and Silas are in the jail at Philippi, and are sprung out of their prison cell by a great earthquake sent from God. Almighty. The jail keep wakes up from his sleep, sees all the doors wide open, and presumes that all the prisoners that he was charged with have escaped. That would mean instant death at the hands of his superiors. he draws out his sword and is just about to kill himself when Paul cries out to “Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.”

“Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” The answer that Paul and Silas gave him is exactly how anyone gets saved in this age of grace thru faith that we live in.

“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:31 (KJV)

Jesus on the cross said “It Is Finished”, and with those words He spoke more layers of meaning and spiritual power than ever eternity itself can reveal. So just what was ‘finished’? Jesus’ death on the cross paid the eternal penalty for the sins of the entire world. His great sacrifice is ALL sufficient. His shed blood provide grace for anyone and everyone who would, by faith, accept His sacrifice as payment for their sins before a holy and righteous God. And that payment covers every sin you ever did in your past, the sins you will commit today, and the ones you have yet to commit in the future. There are no works attached to salvation, it is all of Jesus. Either you believe it or you don’t, you either accept it or reject it. But if you reject it, then His payment is not applied to your account, and then it is you who must pay for your own sins. People who wind up paying for their own sins go here.

Ok, that covers how you get saved, now let us look at how you stay saved.

There are those who teach that while Jesus did a great work on the cross to obtain our salvation, it is we who are required to keep our salvation by a combination of faith and good works. And not sinning. Jesus did His part, and now we must do our part of ‘enduring to the end’ is how the story goes. Not only does this pernicious teaching fly in the face of what the bible teaches, it also steals Glory from God. Jesus says this in John 10:

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.” John 10:27-30 (KJV)

To become unsaved one must first find a way to get out of the very hand of God Himself, and Jesus is promising you here is this passage that that cannot be done by anyone. Including you. Now, the Lord knows that for some of us who are weak in the faith, His promises need reinforcement. So He then gave us this to ponder:

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39 (KJV)

How about YOU, Christian? A3re you persuaded that He that is strong enough to save you is also strong enough to keep you saved? Please read our teaching on The Eternal Security Of The Believer. Now let’s take a trip to the Judgment Seat.

Standing at the Judgment Seat of Christ

“For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” 1 Corinthians 3:9,11-15 (KJV)

Some people hear the term Judgment Seat and automatically associate this with a judgment on sin. That is not what the bible is talking about here. The Judgment Seat of Christ is a public judgment in Heaven of the works that you did while on earth in the name of Jesus. It is not a judgment on sin because sin was already dealt with at the cross. If you are saved then all your sins have already been wiped away and forgotten about. The Judgment Seat is a fire into which your earthly works for the Lord will be cast into. The unsaved of the world will appear at the Great White Throne Judgment, mentioned in Revelation 20:

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Revelation 20:11,12 (KJV)

Wood, hay and stubble

If some of the works you did in His name where really for your benefit, then they are placed into the “wood, hay and stubble” category. If you here on earth throw wood, hay and stubble – all combustible materials – into a fire, what happens? They burn up and are never seen again. There are people who enter into the ministry because it can be financially lucrative. We have all seen televangelists who drive Rolls Royces, live in mansions and ‘fare sumptuously’ on the revenues that their great religious empires provide for them. One would have to imagine that most of the works associated with this type of “christianity’ would fall into the wood, hay and stubble category. This is not to say that these people are not saved, only they and God know that. But works done in Jesus name that really served to enrich you will not make it through the fire of the Judgment Seat.

Gold, silver and precious stones

Evangelist Henry Varley once said, in the hearing of the great man of God D.L. Moody, that “the world has yet to see what God will do with, and for, and through, and in, and by, the man who is fully consecrated to Him.” After meditating on what he had heard, Dwight Moody resolved within himself that “he would be that man’. History records in what a mighty way that Moody was used of God.

And so it shall be for anyone – young, old, man, woman, child – who truly decides to serve the Lord the best they can with the gifts that God has given them. Their works for the Lord will be counted at the Judgment Seat as “gold, silver and precious stones’ that when cast into the fire, will only come out the other side shinier and more precious than when they went in. Everyone from Moody, Sunday, the apostle Paul, all the way down to the little child who hands someone a tract because they want to see them know Jesus and get saved will all have rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

These rewards are given us as crowns, and there are 5 crowns the bible mentions – the Crown of Life, the Crown of Glory, the Crown of Rejoicing, the Crown of Righteousness, and the Crown Incorruptible. The bible says that when we receive these crowns that we will then thrown them at the feet of He who is worthy –

“The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:10,11 (KJV)

The 5 Crowns

  1. The Incorruptible Crown: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (KJB)
  2. The Crown of Rejoicing: 1 Thessalonians 2:19,20 (KJB)
  3. The Crown of Righteousness: 2 Timothy 4:1-8 (KJB)
  4. The Crown of Glory: 1 Peter 5:1-4 (KJB)
  5. The Crown of Life: James 1:12 – Revelation 2:10 (KJB)

What reward will you have at the Judgment Seat of Christ?

No matter how big your problems seem to you right now, and I am sure that there are many reading this who have pressing issues and lots of worry, let us assure you that one day the things and cares of this life will all be gone. In an instant. And you will find yourself standing before the One who redeemed you, Jesus Christ.

CT Studd said it this way: “Only ONE life, twill SOON be past…and ONLY what’s done for CHRIST will last.”

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13,14 (KJV)

There is still time to get something done for Jesus, still time to add gold, silver and precious stones to your account. Get your eyes off of the temporary and on to the eternal weight of glory. Have you been saved, have you been redeemed? Then take the gifts and talents that the Lord has given you for His glory, and use them now while time remains.

The race is almost over, and the time for reckoning will begin soon. Do something for Jesus. Do it now.

The Bible Believers Guide To Reconciling Hebrews 6 With The Church Age Doctrine Of Eternal Security

Nearly every week. it seems, people will write in and ask me how I am able to reconcile Hebrews 6 with Paul’s doctrine of Eternal Security. The answer to this question begins in another Pauline verse of Scripture found in 2 Timothy.

The book of Hebrews is not addressed to Christians saved by grace through faith, it is written to Jews under the Law who are considering the claims of Jesus Christ.

Nearly every week it seems, people will write in and ask me how I am able to reconcile Hebrews 6 with Paul’s doctrine of Eternal Security. The answer to this question begins in another Pauline verse of Scripture found in 2 Timothy:

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” Hebrews 6:4-6 (KJV)

If you have not read our previous Bible studies on the importance of Rightly Dividing, please click here to catch up. Without a remedial understanding of what Paul meant when he told Timothy to “rightly divide” the word, this article won’t make much sense to you so please read it before going further.

Not all of the New Testament was written as doctrine for the Christian living in the age of Grace. In the NT, as in the Old Testament, God can be addressing any one of three different groups of people when He is speaking. Sometimes He is speaking to the Jews and Israel, sometimes it’s to the born again Church, and sometimes it’s to the lost gentiles. So the first thing we must do is to establish to whom God is speaking, let’s start with the book in question, Hebrews.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV).

Our first clue is contained in the title of the book itself, and it is there we find who the book is addressed to, and that is to the Hebrew people otherwise known as the Jews. It does not reference the Body of Christ, the Church in any meaningful way. Rather, the writer of Hebrews speaks as one trying to persuade lost Hebrew people about the “better way” of Jesus Christ our High Priest. Chapter after chapter of Hebrews calls to mind the Old Testament and the Law of Moses, and carefully compares and contrasts that to the New Covenant with Jesus Christ. Going on the assumption that Paul is the writer of Hebrews, let’s call to mind his passion for his lost Hebrew brethren:

“I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.” Romans 9:1-5 (KJV)

Now, if you will carefully read and pray over those verses from Romans 9, and then go back and reread the first 6 chapters of Hebrews, I can promise you it will begin to make sense to you. The book of Hebrews is not addressed to Christians saved by grace through faith, it is written to Jews under the Law who are considering the claims of Jesus Christ. And all through the book the writer is constantly comparing and contrasting life under the Law to life under Jesus Christ. As doctrine, it cannot be addressed to Christians because it advocates a works + faith salvation, and that goes against everything else Paul wrote. The book of Hebrews will have it’s full application during the time of Jacob’s Trouble, the Great Tribulation, where believers will be saved by faith + works, and they will have to refuse the Mark of the Beast at the cost of their own lives. The “better things” mentioned in Hebrews is the element of works, added to their salvation, that keeps them safe in God’s will.

“But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Hebrews 6:9,10 (KJV)

Paul, writing of the doctrine of Eternal Security, is very clear that when the believer is saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8,9), that they are SEALED IN by the Holy Spirit and that sealing will last right up to the very moment they come face to face with their Saviour, Jesus Christ:

“That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:12-14 (KJV)

The Holy Spirit writing through Paul repeats this same point later on in chapter 4:

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30 (KJV)

And just to silence the doubters of this doctrine, the Holy Spirit again through Paul hits this grand slam doctrinal home run out of the park in Romans 8:

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35. 37-39 (KJV)

The eager Bible student shall note the following about these verses written to born again believers: Paul is asking if there is something, anything, that can separate us from Jesus Christ once we are in Him. He gives every type of external and internal thing that could cause you to lose your faith, things like hardships, influence of beings from the spirit realm, death, something now, something later, something we cannot anticipate. His last example is my personal favorite where he says “nor ANY other creature”. Do you know WHO the “any other creature” is referring to? Why, it’s referring to YOU. You couldn’t be unsaved even if you begged God to do it. Why not? Because HE sealed you in, you didn’t seal yourself in. It’s ALL Him, it’s ALL Jesus. He does the saving, He does the keeping, He watches over us for ETERNITY.

Eternal Security is a GREAT GIFT not given to anyone in the Old Testament, and only to the Body of Christ in the New Testament. David in Psalm 51 begged the Lord not to “take His Holy spirit from him” after he sinned greatly because he knew he didn’t have eternal security. David was saved by faith + his works, as all Jews in the Old Testament were, but not so in the Church Age. And after the Church is taken out in the Pretribulation Rapture, things return to how they used to be, that is to say faith + works.

Salvation is a FREE GIFT that you can only do one of two things with. You can either accept it and be saved or reject it and stay lost. But what you do not get to do with it is modify it in any way, shape or form. Jesus on the cross cried “It Is Finished!”, and so it comes to us as a finished, completed package. The revelation that Paul received clarifies that eternal security is for the Body of Christ alone. Did God do that because He thinks so much of us? NO. He did it because He thinks so much of what His Son did on the Cross, and then again on the Third Day.

In conclusion, Hebrews 6 on one hand, and Ephesians 1, 4 and Romans 8 on the other cannot possibly be written to the same group of people as doctrine. They are antithetical to each other and cannot be reconciled. But when we rightly divide what we are reading, and understand that Hebrews is written to unsaved Jews and Ephesian and Romans to born again Christians, we have perfect harmony.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 (KJV)

In 1 Corinthians 5, we see the story of the man who slept with his stepmother which Paul said was so great a sin that he was cast out of the Church fellowship and “delivered unto Satan”. But the man never “lost his salvation”, rather he received chastening from the Lord. In 2 Corinthians 2, Paul tells the people to welcome the repentant man back into their fellowship, but there is no mentioning of his being “resaved”. Sin causes the believer to temporarily lose FELLOWSHIP with the Lord, not their salvation. So let me close with the cure for the born again believers sin problem:
