Emmanuel Macron of France and Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia are working on a proposal to disarm Hamas terrorists, paving the way for its demobilization, and create a state of Palestine

The official title of the upcoming event at the United Nations in June is ‘High-level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution’. Wow, that’s a mouthful, but it’s gets chewier. The two people co-chairing this end times event are none other than Emmanuel Macron of France and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia. Together these men will use all their considerable power and influence to will a state of Palestine into existence. In the meantime, these same two people have a revolutionary plan for Hamas, turn it into a political party and give them real power. And the hits just keep coming, that’s the memo.

But in reality, his ascendancy to power was over 12 years in the making, much of it behind the scenes. That’s what we are seeing now, after years of unseen power shifts it would appear the end game is in sight, a state of Palestine. When Donald Trump went to Saudi Arabia last week, he imbued upon Mohammed bin Salman a level of political capital and creditability the crown prince had not know before. Now bin Salman is looking to spend some of that capital with his good buddy Emmanuel Macron, as they together decide the fate of Hamas and Gaza and the state of Palestine. What could possibly go wrong?

France, Saudis seek to disarm Hamas, keep it as political entity

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: Saudi officials have reportedly been in contact with Hamas leadership as part of the efforts, the sources stated, adding that it is unclear if France has also been in direct contact, especially as the European Union recognizes Hamas as a terror organization.

According to the sources, allowing Hamas to “retain a degree of political power would make it more likely to accept disarming,” and the objective of the talks is to transform Hamas into a “purely political entity that can still play some role in future Palestinian governance.”

Reports have also indicated that there have been growing strains between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and French President Emmanuel Macron over France’s attempts to get more countries to recognize a Palestinian state.

The United Nations conference in New York, where this recognition is likely to occur, is being co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia.

On Tuesday, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said that Israel’s easing of humanitarian aid access to Gaza is “totally insufficient… Immediate and massive aid is needed.”

Leaders of Britain, France, and Canada stated on Monday that they oppose Israel’s ongoing military presence in Gaza and the expansion of settlements in the West Bank and that they may take action. Hamas welcomed the statement, “rejecting the policy of siege and starvation pursued by the occupation government against our people in the Gaza Strip, and the Zionist plans aimed at genocide and displacement.”

Earlier in May, Macron had said that Benjamin Netanyahu’s policy in Gaza, where half a million people are allegedly facing starvation, was shameful and that Europeans should consider increasing sanctions. READ MORE

Two staff members of the Israeli Embassy in Washington were shot and killed Wednesday evening while leaving an event at a Jewish museum, and the suspect yelled, ‘Free, free Palestine’ after he was arrested, police said.

The players are somewhat different than they were in Nazi Germany, but the game is still the same. Jews are not safe just about anywhere they go, including in Israel. Last night in Washington DC, two newly-engaged-staff members of the Israeli Embassy were brutally gunned down in cold blood as their assailant shouted ‘Free Palestine!’

All through the writings of the prophets, we see about an event the Bible calls the time of Jacob’s trouble, and it will be a 7-year period in which God will judge the world in general and His chosen people, the Jews, in particular. Jesus says about this time in Matthew 24 that it will be a time a great tribulation such as the world has never seen, and that includes the Holocaust from WWII. Worse than the Holocaust? 2 staff members of Israeli Embassy killed in shooting near Jewish museum in DC

FROM THE ASSOCIATED PRESS: Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar identified the victims as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim. Lischinsky was a research assistant, and Milgrim organized visits and missions to Israel. They were leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum when the suspect approached a group of four people and opened fire, Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith said at a news conference.

The suspect, identified as Elias Rodriguez, 31, of Chicago, was observed pacing outside the museum before the shooting, walked into the museum after the shooting and was detained by event security, Smith said.

When he was taken into custody, the suspect began chanting, “Free, free Palestine,” Smith said. She said law enforcement did not believe there was an ongoing threat to the community.

The stunning attack prompted Israeli missions to beef up their security. The shooting comes as Israel has launched another major offensive in the Gaza Strip in a war with Hamas that has heightened tensions across the Middle East and internationally and as antisemitic acts are on the rise.

“These horrible D.C. killings, based obviously on antisemitism, must end, NOW!” President Donald Trump posted on social media early Thursday. “Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ’s office said Thursday that he was “shocked” by the “horrific, antisemitic” shooting. “We are witnessing the terrible price of antisemitism and wild incitement against Israel,” he said in a statement. Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Yechiel Leiter said the two people killed were a young couple about to be engaged, saying the man had purchased a ring this week with the intent to propose next week in Jerusalem. The US has obtained new intelligence suggesting that Israel is making preparations to strike Iran and their nuclear facilities, even as the Trump administration has been pursuing a diplomatic deal with Tehran

The backchannels throughout the Middle East are lit up like a pinball machine today, with all signs pointing to an imminent strike on Iran by the nation of Israel. Yes, we’ve been to this brink many times before, granted, so what’s different this time about this potential ‘imminent strike’ false alarm. The difference is that Donald Trump just came back from a 3-day jaunt to the Middle East where he seemingly single-handedly reset relations across the board. New intelligence suggests Israel is preparing possible strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, US officials say

FROM CNN: Such a strike would be a brazen break with President Donald Trump, US officials said. It could also risk tipping off a broader regional conflict in the Middle East — something the US has sought to avoid since the war in Gaza inflamed tensions beginning in 2023.

Officials caution it’s not clear that Israeli leaders have made a final decision, and that in fact, there is deep disagreement within the US government about the likelihood that Israel will ultimately act. Whether and how Israel strikes will likely depend on what it thinks of the US negotiations with Tehran over its nuclear program.

But “the chance of an Israeli strike on an Iranian nuclear facility has gone up significantly in recent months,” said another person familiar with US intelligence on the issue. “And the prospect of a Trump-negotiated US-Iran deal that doesn’t remove all of Iran’s uranium makes the chance of a strike more likely.”

The heightened worries stem not only from public and private messaging from senior Israeli officials that it is considering such a move, but also from intercepted Israeli communications and observations of Israeli military movements that could suggest an imminent strike, multiple sources familiar with the intelligence said.

Among the military preparations the US has observed are the movement of air munitions and the completion of an air exercise, two of the sources said.

But those same indicators could also simply be Israel trying to pressure Iran to abandon key tenets of its nuclear program by signaling the consequences if it doesn’t — underscoring the ever-shifting complexities the White House is navigating. READ MORE
