UPDATE 11/09/2020: Giving to this effort to send King James Bibles to missionaries planting churches in foreign countries has reached 16 rolls, which will produce 8,000 King James Bibles printed and shipped to the people who need them. UPDATE 07/27/2021: I am happy to report that staring in August 2021, we will be sending out from BL&MF – on a monthly basis – 1,000 King James Bibles in English worldwide along with Tagalog New Testaments specifically to pastors in the Philippines!

Greeting from the beautiful state of Tennessee, y’all! The Lord has led me safely here to Shelbyville, thanks to all of you who prayed for traveling mercies, I sure do covet your prayers. I have to tell you, I am not merely excited to be here for the 52nd Annual B&LMF Scripture Conference, after a tour of their King James Bible printing facilities, I am bouncing off the walls. Let me tell you why.

“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!” Isaiah 52:7 (KJB)

Tomorrow I will be filming a video walk-thru of the magnificent facilities where the Bible & Literature Missionary Foundation prints their King James Bibles, which they then ship by the container load around the world where people don’t have any bible. So you can expect a full-blown report detailing who they are, and what they do, which is an incredible story of faith that will inspire you to get something done for the Lord. But today, I got a ‘sneak peek’ into their operations, and the Lord just dumped a very unexpected blessing on me, and as you will see, He dumped it on all of you, too.

MY VIEW PULLING INTO THE ‘BIBLE BARN’ AT B&LMF THIS AFTERNOON

As I was being shown around the printing plant, I came to the assembly line where I took the photo that’s at the top of the article, the one that tells you that a giant, 1,000 pound roll of paper will print 500 full King James Bibles, or 2,000 New Testaments, or 10,000 bible portions like the gospel of John or the book of Romans. The sign also tells you that one giant, thousand pound roll of paper costs $800 dollars. It was at that precise moment when the Lord touched me.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8,9 (KJB)

I stood there for a long moment, looking at that sign, and I thought how great that would be to be able to purchase one of those giant rolls of paper, and make it possible for B&LMF to send out 500 King James Bibles to somewhere like India, Indonesia, Bali, Sri Lanka or any one of the many countries they send bibles to. As I continued my walk through the printing plant, the desire to be used of the Lord to do that burning within me, and I said “yes, let’s send 500 King James Bible to people who have no bible!”

I love getting in where God is working, don’t you? But the Lord was aiming a tad higher than that, as I would soon find out.

ONE SMALL SECTION OF THE MASSIVE PRINTING FACILITIES FOR KING JAMES BIBLES AT THE BIBLE & LITERATURE MISSIONARY FOUNDATION IN SHELBYVILLE, TENNESSEE

A few moments later, while getting a cup of coffee in their kitchen, the Lord touched me again and said “make it 1,ooo bibles”. A thousand bibles, wow, that really hit me hard. 1,000 full King James Bibles takes 2 thousand-pound rolls of paper, which cost $800 each. Now $1,600 is a fairly big chunk of change, but guess what? Because of all of you who donate to NTEB, who pray for us, who share our links and support this ministry, I had the money in the bank to do just that. And because of your faithful giving and praying, you have a part in every one of those 1,000 King James Bibles that will soon be going across America where needed and overseas also. I am also coming back with a couple of cases of the King James Bible in Spanish, which we will use for the NTEB Free Bible and Tract Program to get the word out to our Spanish NTEB’ers who need the bible in their own language. God is good!

“Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” 2 Corinthians 5:9,10 (KJB)

The Judgment Seat of Christ will be a place where rewards for service done for the Lord will be handed out, and sending out 1,000 bibles to unsaved people who walk in darkness who will now have the opportunity to hear the gospel and get saved is exactly how you earn some of those crowns. If you have money to give, give it. If you have no money but you can pray, pray with all your might. Everyone reading this article can do something, and the Lord who sees in secret will reward you openly when we get up there. God doesn’t need your money, it’s your heart He’s looking for, so give it to Him and the rest will follow as He decides how best to use you.

“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:12 (KJB)

One of the reasons why I wanted to come to this Scripture Conference was so the Lord could recharge me, and give me a fresh vision for the ministry. I came in full anticipation of hearing some great preaching, but the Lord decided to recharge me from the moment I stepped into the building! That’s just like Him, giving me more than I asked and sooner than I expected. The Lord is funny that way, oftentimes the greatest blessings He gives us is the opportunity to be a blessing to someone else. It’s not about you, it’s about Him.

Please continue to pray for me while I am here, I greatly miss not being able to do the radio programs, but I feel quite confident the next time I’m behind the mic, I will have some fresh “meat of the word” to share with all of you. In fact, my cup will likely be running over. Till then, remember that the “war is real, the battle hot and the time is short…to the FIGHT!”

Inmates Inside Baldwin County Jail In Alabama Are Actively Asking For King James Bibles As Chaplain Huseth Reaches Out With Urgent Need

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Corrections Center (BCSCC) is a full-service detention facility located in Bay Minette, Alabama. Operated by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), it houses adult male and female inmates, including pre-trial detainees, those serving misdemeanor sentences, and federal inmates under contract with the U.S. Marshals Service. In 2025, they underwent a $70 million dollar expansion of their faculties, not a penny of which was allocated to purchasing Bibles. Chaplain Huseth can’t find Bibles for his inmates anywhere, so he turned to us.

“Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;” Colossians 1:25 (KJB)

While most of the world rushes headlong into darkness, something very different is happening behind the locked doors of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Correctional Center in Alabama. Chaplain Huseth has reached out to Bibles Behind Bars with an urgent request—not for programs, not for counseling, not for religion—but for King James Bibles. They don’t want entertainment. They don’t want rehabilitation theory. They want the word of God.

Inside those cells are men and women who have run out of road. The noise is gone and the distractions have faded away. And for many of them, perhaps for the first time in their lives, they are being forced to think about sin, judgment, and eternity. And when that happens, something incredible begins to take place, they start asking for a Bible. That’s not coincidence. That’s the Holy Spirit of God moving in a place most people will never go.

We have seen it again and again through Bibles Behind Bars: jailhouses turning into mission fields, hardened criminals sitting quietly reading Scripture, and men who never cared about God suddenly unable to put the Book down. The Bridgeport Correctional Center In Connecticut Processes Thousands Of Inmates Each Year And Their Goal Is A Bible For Every Prisoner Who Wants One

Thousands of inmates are processed and sent out through the Bridgeport Correctional Center each year, and they need a Bible to take with them as they go

The Bridgeport Correctional Center in Connecticut is a high-security facility located at 1106 North Ave Bridgeport, CT 06604, managing a diverse and predominantly pre-trial population. It serves as a central urban jail for the state, offering various rehabilitation, education, and vocational programs designed to assist in inmate reintegration. Today, Chaplain Steve has told us of their need for as many Bibles as we can provide, and I would love for us to be able to help him.

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” Isaiah 61:1 (KJB)

Chaplain Steve writes “We are a large county jail with 1000s of individuals passing through our gates every year. some stay a long time, while others move on more quickly. We want to be able to give bibles to all inmates who request them, but we are currently having trouble keeping up with the demand. I see that the bible we give out are appreciated by the inmates.” Every day we receive multiple requests for free Bibles from individuals both locally and globally. Each week, we receive multiple requests for Bibles from chaplains who minister in the jails and prisons across America. Just this morning we finalized a request for 500 Bibles sent to a Georgia jail, and received a new request from the Bridgeport Correctional Center in Connecticut. Oftentimes new requests will come in while I am writing one of these articles, it’s honestly overwhelming but in a good way. Christian, God has given us an amazing open door in these closing moments of the Church Age to give out as many Bibles and devotional books as we possibly can, and it’s exciting. Prisoners are getting saved in the thousands, and being set free in Jesus Christ. There is much work to be done, come help us to do it!!

The Massive High Security Miami Correctional Facility And ICE Detainee Center In Bunker Hill, Indiana, Needs King James Bibles For Its 3,188 Inmates

The Miami Correctional Facility in Indiana needs King James and Spanish Bibles for their thousands of inmates and ICE detainees

The Miami Correctional Facility, situated near Bunker Hill, Indiana, on the grounds of the Grissom Joint Air Reserve Base, was established in 1998 as a state prison. This facility accommodates adult males and includes inmates with high, medium, and minimum-security classifications. Miami is the largest prison in Indiana, boasting a capacity to house 3,188 prisoners when at full occupancy, including ICE detainees. Man, oh man, if you’re looking for fertile ground to start planting the seeds of the gospel, this is it.

“But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Matthew 13:8,9 (KJB)

Chaplain Blair writes: “Our incarcerated population is currently about 1000 listed as General Christian or Catholic. We offer services each week lead by Chaplains and/or outside volunteers. Offenders are able to attend multiple times per week and often request bibles for personal use. Our ICE detainee population is about 400 General Christian or Catholic. Services are ran to match the incarcerated population (citizens legally incarcerated). We are a level 3 / level 4 prison, meaning we are classified as medium-high to high security. Most of the population are between the ages of 20-40. All religious materials we as Chaplains can distribute must come from outside donations from organizations like yours.” Christian, can you get excited by all this? Here is our opportunity to send the preserved word of God into a facility filled to overflowing with Catholics, ICE detainees and Christian and non-Christian inmates. Talk about going into all the world with the gospel. Bibles Behind Bars was raised up for this exact purpose, for such a time as this.
