NTEB Sends 5 Cases Of King James Bibles To Women’s Shelter In Raleigh, North Carolina, After Being Contacted By Burdened Christians Scott And Danielle

In 2022 we are rapidly approaching 25,000 free King James Bibles already sent out, and the year is only 4 and one-half months old. What a blessing!

Scott and Danielle Pendergraft are NTEB’ers who live in North Carolina, and recently God gave them a burden to get some King James Bibles to the people at the Raleigh Women’s Shelter where they live. They have been involved in evangelism and outreach for some time, Scott heard me talk about the NTEB Free Bible Program on the Podcast and wanted to know if NTEB could help. Short answer? Absolutely yes, we sure can…and we sure did!

“But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:5 (KJB)

The NTEB Free Bible Program has existed since the Lord called me to start it back before the pandemic hit, and in the beginning it was just me buying bibles and gospel tracks, stockpiling them in my home studio, and filling the back of my Jeep to take them to the post office. Then the pandemic hit, and things went into overdrive. People across America and around the world got a burden to get the Bible to people, and they began to donate on levels I had never seen before. The more people gave, the more we were able to do, and the free Bible program began to grow to unprecedented levels. Suddenly, or so it seemed, NTEB was now supplying people who needed King James Bibles in over 30 different countries, sending out 11,411 KIng James Bibles in 2021 alone!

But joke’s on me, in 2022 we are rapidly approaching 25,000 King James Bibles already sent out, and the year is only 4 and one-half months old. What a blessing! At this rate, I believe that 50,000 King James Bibles sent out for 2022 is a very reasonable, in not previously unimaginable, goal to reach. How to earn rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ? Simple, by being a witness of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world, as well as to the lukewarm Laodicean Church. One of the very best ways to witness Jesus is to give someone a Bible that tells them all about Jesus. Scott told me today that, after handing out the Bibles, he went back to his car and wept. Amen. That’s how you do it. That’s the real deal. His wife, Danielle, a serving president with the The Order of the Daughters of the King, told me today that the Lord has given their ministry team a total open door with the women’s shelter, please pray that God would give them a fantastic harvest of souls for their labours.

“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40 (KJB)

Behind Prison Walls At Coyote Ridge And Warren Correctional Institution, Inmates Need The Hope, Comfort, And Salvation Found In A King James Bible

The King James Bible has a power and a majesty to it that speaks with authority. It does not flatter the sinner, but it does point him to the Saviour. For the inmate who feels forgotten, the Bible tells him that God sees. For the prisoner crushed by guilt, the Bible tells him that the blood of Jesus Christ can wash away sin. For the man or woman inmate who thinks their life is over, the Bible tells them that new life can and will begin in Jesus Christ, even in the darkness of a prison cell, if they would only believe. This is what Bibles Behind Bars does every day of the week, this is why we exist.

“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.” Psalm 119:9 (KJB)

A personal Bible matters because it becomes more than a book. It becomes a lifeline, the inmate can underline verses in it. They can write prayers in the margins, mark the date when God spoke peace to their heart. He or she can go back again and again to the passages that carried them through despair. That Bible becomes a quiet companion in a place filled with sorrow. It becomes the one possession that reminds them they are not beyond the reach of the grace of God. This is why sending King James Bibles into places like Coyote Ridge Corrections Center and Warren Correctional Institution matters so much. We’re not merely mailing paper and ink, we are placing eternal truth into the hands of souls who need it desperately. Your gift is giving light to men and women who are walking in dark places. One Mother’s Cry For Her Two Sons At Mid-State Correctional Facility Has Opened The Door For Many More Inmates To Receive King James Bibles

What Started As One Mother’s Plea For Her Two Incarcerated Sons Has Become An Open Door To Put King James Bibles Into The Hands Of Many Other Inmates

A mother contacted us today through our Bibles Behind Bars program with a heartfelt request for King James Bibles to be sent to her two sons incarcerated at Mid-State Correctional Facility, but the Lord had a much bigger plan in mind. What began as one mother refusing to give up on her boys has now opened the door for many more inmates at that facility to receive the word of God as well. What a timely reminder that when someone steps out in faith, the Lord can take that one act of obedience and multiply it into a blessing that reaches far beyond the original request! Loaves and fishes, anyone?

“When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.” Mark 8:19 (KJB)

After we got the request, I got on the phone with Chaplain Ellis at Mid-State Correctional, confirmed the woman’s two sons (name withheld) as being incarcerated there, and he told me that Mid-State holds a little over 1,500 inmates. I told him we could send him a bunch more than just the two Bibles, at no charge, and he was genuinely surprised and quite grateful for the offer, which he immediately took me up on. What started out as one mother with a burden for her sons to have God’s preserved word is now turning into an open floodgate of witness and ministry. This is why Bibles Behind Bars matters so much, because we are not merely sending books into prisons, we are sending the living word of God into places filled with darkness, regret, and brokenness. Inmates are getting saved, over 1,000 we know of so far, and eternal destinies are forever changed. God has kicked open wide the door of end times opportunity, and we invite you to come and be a part of it. The Orangeburg County Detention Center In South Carolina Needs King James Bibles For Its 354 Inmates

The Orangeburg County Detention Center has a sleek new design, but is in desperate need of The Old Book that still saves!

The 354 inmates at the Orangeburg County Detention Center were moved into a new, $29 million jail in September of 2021, and it is a beautifully designed, state-of-the-art facility. But don’t let the sleek design fool you. When those steel bar doors slam shut, you’re in one of the darkest places that exist anywhere on Earth – prison. $29 million was raised to create the new jail, and not a penny of those millions were earmarked to provide soul-saving copies of the preserved word of God for the prisoners. That’s where we come in with Bibles Behind Bars, we are the supply line of the end times.

“Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.” 2 Corinthians 11:23 (KJB)

Here in year #4 of the Bibles Behind Bars program, the word must be really getting around because our inbox is filled with requests from jails and prisons across America for Bibles and books. Over the weekend we sent out Bibles to half a dozen different facilities, and almost immediately another half a dozen requests popped up. Every time we send out Bibles like that it costs thousands of dollars, and somehow the Lord continues to provide the resources that keeps the supply lines open. Chaplain Riley at Orangeburg is counting on us to give them the Bibles and books that they need as they minister the gospel to the inmates in their charge, with the ability to give a Bible to everyone that requests one.
