NTEB Sends 5 Cases Of King James Bibles To Women’s Shelter In Raleigh, North Carolina, After Being Contacted By Burdened Christians Scott And Danielle

In 2022 we are rapidly approaching 25,000 free King James Bibles already sent out, and the year is only 4 and one-half months old. What a blessing!

Scott and Danielle Pendergraft are NTEB’ers who live in North Carolina, and recently God gave them a burden to get some King James Bibles to the people at the Raleigh Women’s Shelter where they live. They have been involved in evangelism and outreach for some time, Scott heard me talk about the NTEB Free Bible Program on the Podcast and wanted to know if NTEB could help. Short answer? Absolutely yes, we sure can…and we sure did!

“But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:5 (KJB)

The NTEB Free Bible Program has existed since the Lord called me to start it back before the pandemic hit, and in the beginning it was just me buying bibles and gospel tracks, stockpiling them in my home studio, and filling the back of my Jeep to take them to the post office. Then the pandemic hit, and things went into overdrive. People across America and around the world got a burden to get the Bible to people, and they began to donate on levels I had never seen before. The more people gave, the more we were able to do, and the free Bible program began to grow to unprecedented levels. Suddenly, or so it seemed, NTEB was now supplying people who needed King James Bibles in over 30 different countries, sending out 11,411 KIng James Bibles in 2021 alone!

But joke’s on me, in 2022 we are rapidly approaching 25,000 King James Bibles already sent out, and the year is only 4 and one-half months old. What a blessing! At this rate, I believe that 50,000 King James Bibles sent out for 2022 is a very reasonable, in not previously unimaginable, goal to reach. How to earn rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ? Simple, by being a witness of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world, as well as to the lukewarm Laodicean Church. One of the very best ways to witness Jesus is to give someone a Bible that tells them all about Jesus. Scott told me today that, after handing out the Bibles, he went back to his car and wept. Amen. That’s how you do it. That’s the real deal. His wife, Danielle, a serving president with the The Order of the Daughters of the King, told me today that the Lord has given their ministry team a total open door with the women’s shelter, please pray that God would give them a fantastic harvest of souls for their labours.

“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40 (KJB)

I just thought I would take a moment, pull back the curtain, and show you where your donations and prayers are going, and how very much it is having an impact on the Body of Christ. The Garza West Unit In Beeville Texas Which Houses Up To 2,278 Inmates Has Reached Out To Us For King James Bibles And Christian Literature

The Garza West Unit in Beeville Texas is a hotbed of soulwinning and gospel preaching and now they need King James Bibles

The Garza West Unit Transfer Facility is a mixed medium security prison located in Beeville Texas. The unit can house up to 2,278 male offenders of G1, G3, and transient custody levels. Co-located with Garza East, Garza West is situated on 304 acres. Garza West Unit is responsible for the initial intake and processing of offenders from the surrounding region into the Texas Department of Corrections. While incarcerated at Garza West, inmates can receive medical, dental, and mental health services. But what they really need is the gospel and the King James Bible, lots of them, amen?

“To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.” Isaiah 42:7 (KJB)

Chaplain Hall writes to say “We have about 4 different Christian services with volunteers who travel anywhere from 1-2 hrs to either speak in a service or conduct a class in our Faith Based Dorm. My favorite ministry related activity is teaching in our Faith Based Dorm. While I am a Baptist Minister and Chaplain I push for real change in the inmate’s lives and tend not to push a sinners prayer or altar calls as I believe they usually produce shallow converts. I ask for Bibles because we have a constant stream of NEW inmates who come in weekly from county prisons. We do not receive funding from anyone and rely exclusively on donations from outside ministries.” And there it is, chaplains and jail ministers all across America have an urgent need for Bibles, and Bibles Behind Bars stands in the gap to make sure they get them. We need your help to make sure the flow of Bibles doesn’t stop going out, come help us!

The Pruntytown Correctional Center and Jail In West Virginia And The Murray County Jail Up In North Georgia Are The Latest To Request King James Bibles

The Pruntytown Correctional Center and Jail In West Virginia is the latest detention center to request King James Bibles for their inmates

So far in 2026, thousands of King James Bibles, scripture portions and books have been flying out the door, with new requests coming in on a daily basis. The Pruntytown Correctional Center and Jail holds just under 400 inmates, and Chaplain Elder has requested a Bible for each inmate. Up in north Georgia at the Murray County Jail, Chaplain Rick has run out of the thousands of Bibles we’ve sent him last year, and is requesting more. What a blessing to see the gospel being preached, souls being saved and the word of God going out!

“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.” Luke 8:11 (KJB)

From all the testimonies we’ve been getting, right around 1,000 souls have heard the gospel, believed it, and were given a Bible from Bibles Behind Bars. I am sure the actual numbers are much higher than that, but those are the ones we’ve directly heard about. When you donate to this outreach, you are first and foremost keeping the supply lines open for all the pastors, chaplains and volunteers who go to the jails and prisons to preach. Bibles Behind Bars is one of the very last jail and prison supply ministries who send out the King James Bibles and books exclusively. Chaplain Farwell Of The Elmira Correctional Facility In Upstate New York Writes To Tell Us Of The ‘Desperate Need’ Of Their Inmates For Copies Of The Word Of God

The Elmira Correctional Facility in update New York has an urgent need for hundreds of copies of God’s preserved word

Elmira Correctional is a maximum ‘A facility’ in upstate NY, writes Chap Farwell. He says “We house between 1500 – 1600 incarcerated men. Approximately 600 are in our Reception Center either as parole violators, recidivists, or first time offenders awaiting classification that will send them to another correctional facility to serve their sentences and to be enrolled into a program designed to correct their behavior. Most don’t have any faith life at all even though their families may have. However, when the reality of being incarcerated hits them they reach out in desperation, which is where we as chaplains come in.” Chaplain Farwell is serving on the front lines, and Bibles Behind Bars is keeping his supply lines open.

“But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.” Genesis 39:21 (KJB)

Chap went on to say “Most ask for Bibles and for many it is their first one. As chaplains, we direct them to scripture and let them know that God loves them and quite possibly this is God’s plan for them. This is where they can encounter God, but they have to come to know God and the Bible helps them to do their part. We give these Bibles freely in the hope that they will give God a chance to speak to them and they can speak to God. We are constantly seeking Bibles and if you can be a source to provide them we would be most grateful. We especially need large print. Whatever you can do would be most appreciated. God bless you for your work.” Christian, God has called us to stand in the gap for the ‘least of these’ and to give them a copy of God’s preserved word. Come help us to do that, we need you!
