They call it ‘invisible computing’, and with each passing tech cycle the results are getting more and more spectacular. In California, a company called Mojo Lens has created the first true ‘smart contact lens’ that is not only invisible when worn in public, but will give the wearer near super powers with the ability to augment the reality they are viewing.
“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:15-17 (KJB)
When asked a few years ago in an interview if there was a danger of humans turning into cyborgs, Elon Musk famously replied that human beings, attached at the wrist and hip to smart devices, ‘have already become cyborgs‘. Musk said it was just a question of how far it will go. From the looks of things, I’d say it’s going to go really, really far. Augmented Reality with humans becoming legit cyborgs is where everything is headed, and this is all happening right now, not in the misty, hazy future. I think of my first iPhone back in 2007, and what a miracle of technology that seemed like today. But today, that first generation iPhone is a dinosaur and barely capable of a fraction of what the new iPhone 11 can do. We have become cyborgs, and by the time the Mark of the Beast shows up, people will have long been used to implantable computer parts in their bodies. Just glad I will not be here for that, Flight #777 on Titus213 Airlines now boarding. Who’s coming with me?
Introducing the world’s only contact lens that elevates your vision.
FROM MOJO LENS: Meet Mojo Lens, a smart contact lens with a built-in display that gives you timely information without interrupting your focus. By understanding your real-world context, Mojo Lens provides relevant, eyes-up notifications and answers. Designed by optometrists, technologists, and medical experts, Mojo Lens gives you the knowledge you need—exactly when it’s needed.
Through the use of augmented reality (AR), useful information can be presented on displays built into glasses or a headset. You can see turn-by-turn directions while walking, important steps for replacing an unfamiliar machine part, or talking points for a presentation—all without holding a device or looking down at a screen. By using a wearable display, AR helps you keep your concentration by providing information heads-up and hands-free.
Along with the display, the Mojo lens will contain a supporting cast of microcomponents. The first versions will include a tiny single-core ARM-based processor and an image sensor. Later versions will add an eye-tracking sensor and a communications chip. At first the lenses will be powered by a tiny thin-film, solid-state battery within the lens. Sinclair says the battery is meant to last all day and will charge in a small case that’s something like an AirPods case. Eventually, the lenses might get their power wirelessly from a thin device that hangs loosely around the neck like a necklace. The lenses will also rely on an internet connection provided by a smartphone or other device for some of their functions, such as sending and receiving data. READ MORE
However, today’s AR headsets are too awkward to be worn in social and professional situations, and many AR solutions try to create immersive experiences that can clutter reality. That’s why Mojo has pioneered the concept of Invisible Computing—a display that never gets in the way. The subtlety of Mojo Lens lets you look like yourself wherever the day takes you and displays information only when needed. Mojo Lens even understands the activities you’re engaged in so it doesn’t disrupt or distract you.

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 13,131 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 14,500 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
