There is zero chance of peace coming to Israel and the Middle East until the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ comes back

The nations of the world can gather their leaders, sign their agreements, proclaim billions in humanitarian aid, and even form grand bodies like Donald Trump’s so-called Board of Peace — but until Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, returns to rule and reign from Jerusalem, every one of these human schemes will fall short and collapse. All of them, no exceptions.

As Bible believers, we are commanded to serve the Lord Jesus Christ as we wait for His return regardless of global events happening around us in Israel and Iran

We are currently watching the incredible events unfolding in the Middle East, and they all point to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thessalonians 1:7-10 (KJB)

Israel, Iran and Waiting On the Lord In The Last Days

All through the Bible, in both Testaments, believers in every dispensation are instructed to wait upon the Lord’s timing. The Lord does not do things randomly or haphazardly, but has everything orchestrated down to the last second. We are currently watching the incredible events unfolding in the Middle East, and they all point to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. But the larger and often overlooked picture is the instruction to wait upon the timing of the Lord. Here we have the commandment, given to believers in all dispensations, to wait upon the Lord.

DAVID:

“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.” Psalm 27:10-14 (KJB)

HABAKKUK:

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:1-3 (KJB)

“And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.” Romans 8:22-25 (KJB)
