Donald Trump Gets Warm Reception Speaking At 29th Annual Rolling Thunder Bike Rally
Wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat and forgoing a necktie, Donald Trump pledged to rebuild the military and said George S. Patton and other deceased generals were “spinning in their graves.”
Donald Trump and Bikers Share Affection at Rolling Thunder Rally
Donald J. Trump, the Manhattan real estate mogul who boasts about his wealth, maintains a fleet of aircraft and sells his own brand of neckties, paid respects on Sunday to an incongruous constituency.
“Look at all these bikers,” Mr. Trump, standing before a crowd in front of the Lincoln Memorial, said with admiration. “Do we love the bikers? Yes. We love the bikers.”
Mr. Trump was addressing a gathering at the 29th annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle run, a vast event over Memorial Day weekend that is dedicated to accounting for military members taken as prisoners of war or listed as missing in action.
Trump speaks at Rolling Thunder biker rally in D.C.
Bikers assembled at the Pentagon before riding en masse into the nation’s capital, with many dressed in leather vests covered in patches, their bikes rumbling throughout the afternoon.
For the blunt-spoken Mr. Trump, who likes to stress his desire to strengthen the military and improve how veterans are treated, the gathering provided a receptive audience, if one where he might otherwise seem out of place.
“He speaks what’s on his mind and means what he says,” said Tom Christian, 43, a heating and air-conditioning contractor from Tennessee. “And that’s what a biker does. That’s the way we are: We say what we think. If you like it, you like it. If you don’t, go the other way.”
The warm embrace from the crowd gave no hint of the controversy that Mr. Trump incited last year when he denigrated the military service of Senator John McCain of Arizona, a former prisoner of war in North Vietnam. Mr. Trump said Mr. McCain, a fellow Republican, was not a war hero, saying, “I like people that weren’t captured, O.K.?”
Mr. Trump is the latest political figure, but not the only one, to pay attention to bikers. Wearing a black Harley-Davidson helmet, Sarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska, appeared at Rolling Thunder in 2011, months before saying she would not run for president in 2012.
And one of Mr. Trump’s former Republican rivals, Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, a proud Harley-Davidson owner, campaigned at Harley dealerships and wore motorcycle boots on the campaign trail. Asked during a debate what he wanted his Secret Service code name to be, he suggested Harley.
Campaigning in Wisconsin in March, Mr. Trump observed that Mr. Walker was “always on a Harley.” “I’m not a huge biker, I have to be honest with you, O.K.?” Mr. Trump added. “I always liked the limo better.”
Nancy Regg, a spokeswoman for Rolling Thunder, said the group had invited Mr. Trump to appear. The group did not extend an invitation to Hillary Clinton or Senator Bernie Sanders, she said.
Richard McFadden, 58, an annual Rolling Thunder attendee from North Carolina, said Mrs. Clinton would not have been welcome. “Just like asking Jane Fonda to show up, it’d be a very, very bad thing,” said Mr. McFadden, who works in computer support and wore a button that read, “Hillary for Prison 2016.”
Mr. Trump’s supporters include a group called “Bikers for Trump,” which has more than 46,000 “likes” on Facebook. Speaking on Sunday, Mr. Trump told the crowd of seeing large numbers of bikers at his campaign events.
“I said, ‘What are they all doing here?’ and my people would say, ‘They’re here to protect you, Mr. Trump,’” he said. “It’s an amazing thing. And I want to tell you, some of these people are tough.”
But when he shakes their hands, “there is love, and it’s an incredible feeling, and that’s why I wanted to be with you today,” he said.
Wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat and forgoing a necktie, Mr. Trump pledged to rebuild the military and said George S. Patton and other deceased generals were “spinning in their graves.”
He lamented that veterans “have been treated so badly in this country” and asserted that in many cases, immigrants in the country illegally were taken better care of. He said that on Tuesday he will detail the money he had raised for veterans’ groups.
Standing before the reflecting pool with the Washington Monument offering a striking backdrop, Mr. Trump also expressed disappointment about the size of the crowd, which did not fill the space cordoned off in front of the Lincoln Memorial for the event.
“I thought this would be like Dr. Martin Luther King, where the people would be lined up from here all the way to the Washington Monument,” he said.
He seemed to blame event organizers, saying he passed enormous crowds along the roads on the way to the gathering, including “the most beautiful bikes I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Two retirees from New Jersey, Tom Gadosky and his companion, Marney Pratt, who are both 67, traveled to Rolling Thunder on their three-wheeled Harley-Davidson. Both plan to vote for Mr. Trump in November.
“A lot of the people, if you walk around, are baby boomers, like us,” Ms. Pratt said. “We’ve been through it all. We want to have it back again.” Neither of them was bothered by what Mr. Trump had said about Mr. McCain. People, Mr. Gadosky said, “have very short memories.” source

Former President Donald Trump Found Guilty In Rape Trial Verdict, Ordered To Pay $5 Million In Damages To Accuser E. Jean Carroll
The Manhattan jury hearing evidence in E. Jean Carroll federal lawsuit accusing former President Donald Trump of raping her decades ago has reached a verdict.
Did former president Donald Trump rape and sexually assault E. Jean Carroll decades ago in the changing room of a Manhattan clothing store? Today, a totally biased jury of mostly Democrats in New York City said he did, and has determined that Trump must pay a $5,000,000.00 award to Carroll. Is Trump actually guilty, or is this yet another in a long trail of events designed to prevent Trump from becoming president again? Your guess is as good as mine.
“Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.” Acts 24:8 (KJB)
We know that Trump was not guilty of Russian collusion, though the entire weight of the Democrat-dominated Congress and Senate said he was. We know that Trump was not complicit in the events that took place on January 6th, though the Select Committee said that he was. Trump may be guilty of many things, I don’t know, but I do know that everything he’s been accused of has had no basis in provable facts. What were the ‘provable facts’ in the E. Jean Carroll rape case? She said he did it, and offered no evidence of any kind to prove her claim. Is that justice? It is in a Democrat-controlled city that hates Trump more than anything else. By that standard, current president Joe Biden is guilty of digitally penetrating his intern Tara Reade in 1993 because she has said repeatedly that Biden did that to her.
Trump found liable for sexual abuse, defamation in E. Jean Carroll case, ordered to pay $5M in damages
FROM THE NY POST: Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation — and ordered to pay more than $5 million in damages — by a federal jury in writer E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit accusing him of raping her in a Bergdorf Goodman fitting room decades ago.
E. Jean Carroll, 79, held her head down as the verdict was read in Manhattan federal court — and nodded when she heard the jury finding in favor of her defamation claim for Trump, 76, branding her a liar when she came forward with her allegations.
The nine-person jury — three women and six men — decided the case after three hours of deliberations that began just before noon Tuesday.
Neither E. Jean Carroll nor her attorney, Roberta Kaplan, spoke to the mass of reporters outside the lower Manhattan courthouse as they left hand in hand, with the former “Ask E. Jean” columnist breezing through the crowd and into a waiting car.
“I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHO THIS WOMAN IS. THIS VERDICT IS A DISGRACE – A CONTINUATION OF THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social following the verdict.
The jurors rejected Carroll’s claim in her 2019 suit that Trump, 76, had raped her, but found him liable for sexual abuse. Carroll, 79, had accused Trump of attacking her in a fitting room at the Fifth Avenue department store, most likely in 1996.
Watchers in the court gallery cried tears of joy when the verdict finding Trump liable for sexual abuse was read.
Jurors also found in favor of E. Jean Carroll on her claim that the ex-president defamed her in a lengthy Oct. 12, 2022, Truth Social post claiming her accusations were a “hoax.”
The decision comes after eight days of trial spread over three weeks, where the jury heard from 11 witnesses including Carroll, two other Trump accusers and two pals who Carroll confided in about the alleged attack. Trump did not attend the trial but the jury saw clips of his video deposition. He also didn’t call any witnesses or present any evidence. Carroll took the witness stand for three days recounting how she ran into the real estate mogul at Bergdorf Goodman, across from Trump Tower, most likely in the spring of 1996. READ MORE

Donald Trump Posts ‘I Can’t Believe This Is Happening In America’ And Is Then Immediately Placed Under Arrest As He Steps Into New York City Courthouse
Former President Donald Trump expressed disbelief in the moments before he walked into New York Criminal Court Tuesday afternoon to be arrested over his role in the Stormy Daniels hush-money probe.
- UPDATED 6:01 PM EST: Trump faces a maximum of 136 years in jail as unsealed indictment reveals 34 FELONY charges for ‘catch and kill scheme’ that included ‘$30,000 hush money to Trump Tower doorman who claimed Donald had a child out of wedlock’
And so it begins, Donald John Trump has officially surrendered to the authorities in the same city where Hillary Clinton and George Soros have done so much to reorder how justice works in New York. What happens from this point only God knows, but in typical Trump style, he went to his arrest slamming the judge, DA Alvin Bragg and the entire political machine. The Tammany Hall Democrats, as corrupt as they were, could learn a few things from these wicked people.
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” Proverbs 29:2 (KJB)
All this reveals just how truly fractured and broken America as a nation truly is in 2023, with the ‘two Americas’ now firmly entrenched and demarcated. Trumps approval rating, along with fundraising donations, has shot through the roof today, but all that will be to no avail if he is not free to run for president in 2024. The only way the Left can accomplish their goal will be with the use of a trick play of some kind, but just how tricky are they willing to go? Jeffrey Epstein found out how far, as did Seth Rich and countless others. Whether you like Trump or can’t stand him, you need to push back against this pervasive tyranny that has taken over America before it’s too late. They’re coming for you next.
‘I can’t believe this is happening in America’: Trump posts on Truth Social just before being placed under arrest as he surrenders at NYC court in Stormy Daniels hush money indictment
FROM DAILY MAIL UK: ‘Heading to Lower Manhattan, the Courthouse. Seems so SURREAL – WOW, they are going to ARREST ME. Can’t believe this is happening in America. MAGA!’ Trump posted to his Truth Social network as he drove from Trump Tower to the lower Manhattan courthouse.
Trump departed Trump Tower, where he had spent most of the day in his 26th floor office, and gave a fist bump before getting in his motorcade to make the drive to court. Once he entered the building, he was officially under arrest. He’ll go through a booking process before standing in front of a judge. His lawyer, Joe Tacopina, told the local New York Fox affiliate Tuesday morning that he spent ‘all night’ with Trump in the run-up to Tuesday’s unprecedented legal proceeding.
The former president arrived in New York Monday and will return to Mar-a-Lago Tuesday night, to deliver a statement to the press. He’s also expected to talk to reporters coming in and out of the courtroom. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg arrived at court Tuesday morning ahead of the former president.
Speaking with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos ahead of Trump’s historic arraignment on Tuesday, Tacopina said Trump will not be pleading guilty to a misdemeanor to make the Daniels hush-money case disappear and didn’t believe the Daniels’ hush-money case pursued by Bragg, would see a jury trial.
He also said he couldn’t see how Trump could abide by a gag order.
‘Here you have something uniquely different,’ Tacopina said on GMA. ‘The defendant is the leading Republican candidate for the office of the president of the United States and will be campaigning. Hard to put a gag order when he’s going to be fielding questions about his current legal situation.’
Trump has been defiant ahead of the arraignment, declaring himself to be the victim of weaponized legal system and a political target by Democrats who don’t want to see him win another term in the White House.
Trump raged on Truth Social Monday night after longtime D.C. journalist Michael Isikoff, writing for Yahoo News, reported that the former president would be charged with 34 felony counts – but spared handcuffs and a mugshot.
‘Wow! District Attorney Bragg just illegally LEAKED the various points, and complete information, on the pathetic Indictment against me,’ Trump posted to Truth Social. ‘I know the reporter, and so, unfortunately, does he,’ Trump added, pointing to Isikoff. READ MORE

MAGA SAGA: Donald Trump Takes Manhattan As Eyes Of The Nation Riveted On Arrest And Arraignment Spectacle Unfolding In New York City Today
Former President Donald Trump will make his first appearance in a Manhattan courtroom Tuesday afternoon on criminal charges tied to the Stormy Daniels ‘hush money’ payment — marking an unprecedent moment in US history.
Former reality TV star and 45th president of the United States Donald Trump has waited his whole life for this moment, and this morning it arrives in vibrant technicolor that will be engulfing all media for the foreseeable future. Reporters lined up started yesterday, filling up the length of an entire city block in downtown Manhattan. There is no script for what happens from this point on, it will be all improvisation under the big top in the greatest circus on the face of the earth. Yet somehow, I have the strangest sense of déjà vu watching it all unfold.
“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9 (KJB)
In case you were wondering, today is Day 1,114 of 15 Days To Flatten The Curve, and the man who started the curve in the first place is once again the only story that anyone seems to want to talk about. America has been a nation in decline for quite sometime, and with the rise of transgenders and drag queens taking over our society and culture, our ‘race to the bottom’ is now nearly complete. So prepare yourselves for just about anything from Trump getting off scot-free to Trump sitting in the same jail cell where Jeffrey Epstein was murdered. It’s all on the table starting today. Make America great again? I wouldn’t count on it. There’s a whole lot of ‘firsts’ today, and none of them good.
Donald Trump to appear in Manhattan court today on unprecedented indictment
FROM THE NY POST: Donald Trump, 76, will face a historic booking and arraignment after he surrenders to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office downtown in the early afternoon. He’ll be fingerprinted and likely have his mugshot taken before his scheduled 2:15 p.m. hearing in Manhattan Supreme Court, sources have said.
Donald Trump became the first US president to be hit with criminal charges Thursday when a grand jury convened by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg voted to indict him in connection to a six-figure payment made to Daniels in the lead up to the 2016 election.
The circus starts Tuesday, and the clowns are in place. It will be Day 1,114 of 15 Days To Flatten The Curve. Where do YOU think it’s all heading?🤔#NewWorldOrder #TrumpMugShot #TrumpIndictment pic.twitter.com/CCRJRk6UL5

The ex-commander in chief is said to be facing more than 30 counts of falsifying business records, including felony counts.
A Yahoo! News report Monday night said Trump will be charged with 34 felony counts.
The Post could not independently verify the full Yahoo! News report, but sources told The Post Monday night the former president would face at least 30 felony charges, though the indictment won’t be unsealed until the arraignment.
Trump isn’t expected to be wearing handcuffs when he is escorted into the courtroom, according to sources. His attorney, Joe Tacopina, has said he will enter a “not guilty” plea. Bragg is set to hold a press conference following the hearing. The 45th president has slammed the case against him as a politically-motivated “witch hunt” and denied any wrongdoing.
“WITCH HUNT, as our once great Country is going to HELL!” he posted on his Truth Social platform on Monday.
The probe is scrutinizing a $130,000 payment made to Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, in the waning days of his 2016 presidential campaign, as well as another six-figure payment to former Playboy model Karen McDougal. READ MORE
