Todd Palin appears to have filed for divorce from former Alaska governor and one-time vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, his wife of 31 years.

Sarah Palin was once a rising GOP whose light shone very brightly before burning up and flaming out in dramatic fashion. She resigned as Alaska governor under very mystifying circumstances, and after that was never quite able to regain the footing she once had. Now her husband Todd, citing an ‘incompatibility of temperament’ between the two of them, has asked an Alaska judge for a divorce, which at the moment has the mainstream fake news media in a predictable feeding frenzy.

Many Christians will be disheartened after hearing this news today, the Palin family has had their share of trouble and heartache over the years, and we should certainly keep them in prayer.

FROM ANCHORAGE DAILY NEWS:  In a document filed Friday in Anchorage Superior Court, Todd Palin, 55, asked to dissolve the marriage, citing an “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.”

The divorce filing uses initials rather than full names, but identifies the couple’s marriage date and the birth date of their only child who is a minor, Trig Palin. The filing asks for joint legal custody of the child.

Anchorage attorney Kimberlee Colbo is representing Todd Palin in the divorce. In a filing, Colbo said she would ask the court to designate the divorce confidential as it moves forward. Colbo did not immediately respond Monday to a request for comment from Todd Palin. Sarah Palin, 55, was elected governor of Alaska in 2006.

The Palin family rocketed to national prominence in 2008 when Republican presidential nominee John McCain chose Palin as his vice-presidential candidate, making them household names and focusing the country’s attention on their hometown of Wasilla.

The marriage of Sarah and Todd, a commercial fisherman, snowmachine racer and oil field worker, was frequently on display in TV interviews, reality shows, books and other media appearances. Palin resigned as governor in 2009.

Since leaving office, Sarah Palin has kept a low profile in Alaska politics, while maintaining a national profile through her books, speaking engagements and social media presence. The divorce filing was first reported by Anchorage blogger Craig Medred.

SHOWDOWN: Adam Schiff Literally Runs Away As Group Of 30 House Republicans Storm The Democrats Closed-Door Secret Sham Impeachment Proceedings

Adam Schiff runs away as 30 House Republicans stormed a secure hearing room where Democrats are conducting secret closed-door impeachment proceedings.

Adam Schiff runs out back door as 30 House Republicans stormed a secure hearing room where lawmakers are conducting impeachment proceedings and demanded entry but were denied by “Democratic leadership,” they said Wednesday.

The Democrats are in an increasingly-tough position as the sham Trump impeachment proceedings drag on. And despite the best efforts of the fake news media to publish endless “Bombshell!!” headlines of the “coming revelations” that are sure to sink President Trump, it’s becoming more and more obvious they have nothing. Zip. Nada. Zilch. Nothing at all. The best they can do is to present the appearance of an impeachment without actually ever voting to impeach. Which, I am pretty sure, is in violation of established US law and protocols.

“And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.” Leviticus 26:17 (KJV)

Today over 30 House Republican tried to gain access to these closed-door, third world-style sham impeachment proceedings but were denied access. DNC circus ringmaster Adam Schiff actually ran out the back door rather than face the Republicans. He ran away! Why? Because that’s what trickers, liars, con artists and other criminals do when confronted with the truth, they run, and that’s exactly what Adam Schiff did today. You can run, Adam Schiff, but you can’t hide.

GOP lawmakers storm closed impeachment proceeding and demand access

FROM WASHINGTON EXAMINER: The excluded GOP lawmakers sit on panels that are not officially invited to closed-door interviews of Trump administration officials whose testimony Democrats believe will show wrongdoing by the president. The lawmakers in the closed-door proceeding were interviewing Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper.

“A whole bunch of Republican Congress members who were duly elected just tried to get in to find out what is going on in their closed hearings, because we were elected to Congress and we don’t even know what is going on,” Republican Rep. Debbie Lesko of Arizona said.

Lesko sits on the House Judiciary Committee, which is one of the six committees originally tasked with conducting an impeachment inquiry by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

But Pelosi, a California Democrat, has narrowed access to the closed-door questioning to the Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, and Oversight committees, and the proceedings have been closed to the public and the press.

Republicans demanded House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who is running the proceedings, to allow them inside.

Adam Schiff, a California Democrat, refused to speak to the GOP lawmakers seeking admission.

“He left,” Republican Rep. Roger Marshall of Kansas said. “He just go up and left. He doesn’t have the guts to tell us why we can’t be in the room, why he doesn’t want this to be transparent.”

Marshall called the closed-door investigation “the biggest farce of my life,” and other Republican lawmakers lined up to condemn the secrecy.

“To disregard, to repudiate, close to 60 million Americans in the 2016 election, if they are going to do that, do it in public,” said Rep. Mo Brooks, an Alabama Republican. “Show your faces so we can all see the travesty you are trying to foist on America.”

Schiff and Pelosi have defended the process by equating the panels in the closed-door inquiry to a grand jury and Schiff to the role of prosecutor, acting much like former special counsel Robert Mueller. Schiff said public hearings will take place, and transcripts will be released at some point. READ MORE

The John McCain Institute For International Leadership Receives Funding From George Soros

Sen. John McCain in 2012 turned over nearly $9 million in unspent funds from his failed 2008 presidential campaign to a new foundation bearing his name.

Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain in 2012 turned over nearly $9 million in unspent funds from his failed 2008 presidential campaign to a new foundation bearing his name, the McCain Institute for International Leadership.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Donald Trump promised to ‘drain the swamp’ when he was elected. RINO Sen. John McCain is one of the swamp’s key major players. McCain has created an “international institute” for the furtherance of the New World Order, and he is using money provided to him by people like George Soros to do it. Now you know why McCain is so against the president, Trump wants to drain the very swamp that feeds him.

The institute is intended to serve as a “legacy” for McCain and “is dedicated to advancing human rights, dignity, democracy and freedom.” It is a tax-exempt non-profit foundation with assets valued at $8.1 million and associated with Arizona State University.

Conservative and liberal critics, however, believe the institute constitutes a major conflict of interest for McCain, The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group has learned.

McCain, a former Navy pilot who was shot down over North Vietnam in 1967 and was then a prisoner of war in the infamous Hanoi Hilton until 1973, is a major political force in Washington, D.C. He is presently chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services.

Critics worry that the institute’s donors and McCain’s personal leadership in the organization’s exclusive “Sedona Forum” bear an uncanny resemblance to the glitzy Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) that annually co-mingled special interests and powerful political players in alleged pay-to-play schemes.

The McCain Institute receives major funding from George Soros:

You could easily call the McCain Institute “Clinton Foundation Lite”, and its money comes from exactly the same places like George Soros.

The institute has accepted contributions of as much as $100,000 from billionaire liberal activist-funder George Soros and from Teneo, a for-profit company co-founded by Doug Band, former President Bill Clinton’s “bag man.” Teneo has long helped enrich Clinton through lucrative speaking and business deals.

And Bloomberg reported in 2016 on a $1 million Saudi Arabian donation to the institute, a contribution the McCain group has refused to explain publicly.

In addition, the institute has taken at least $100,000 from a Moroccan state-run company tied to repeated charges of worker abuse and exploitation. The McCain group has also accepted at least $100,000 from the Pivotal Foundation, which was created by Francis Najafi who owns the Pivotal Group, a private equity and real estate firm.

The Pivotal Foundation has in the last three years given $205,000 to the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC), which has been a vocal advocate for the Iranian nuclear deal the Obama administration negotiated.

The NIAC web site claims the group “is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the voice of Iranian Americans and promoting greater understanding between the American and Iranian people.”

But NIAC President Trita Parsi has long been an advocate for Iran, including demanding in May 2017 that President Donald Trump and officials in his administration “cease questioning the integrity of a (nuclear) deal.”

The NIAC is “Iran’s lobbyists in Washington,” charged Aresh Salih, the Washington representative of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan. “People inside of Iran know them as their lobbyists in Washington, D.C.,” Salih told TheDCNF.

The NIAC does not file as a foreign agent under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, nor does it register as a lobbyist with Congress.

Yet in May 2013, Parsi spoke to a packed Capitol Hill meeting sponsored by Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison to argue in favor of the nuclear deal. Ellison was the first Muslim elected to Congress and is also deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

John McCain Defends The New World Order:

“This is a very real conflict of interest,” Craig Holman, a government affairs lobbyist at Public Citizen, told TheDCNF. “This is the similar type of pattern we received with the Clinton Foundation in which foreign governments and foreign interests were throwing a lot of money in the hopes of trying to buy influence.”

Liberal consumer advocate Ralph Nader founded Public Citizen. Lawrence Noble, general counsel for the Campaign Legal Center, told the DCNF that accepting contributions in the name of a sitting senator like McCain raises troubling issues.

“In terms of the ethics of it, it does raise a broad question of people trying to get good will with the elected official,” he said. “From a personal standpoint, I’d rather not see these entities exist.”

Charles Ortel, a retired Wall Street investment banker and philanthropy law expert, told TheDCNF that “high government officials such as John McCain, [former Secretary of State] Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama should not get involved with vehicles like these where substantial sums can be funneled over time in ways that at best, reeks of impropriety and at worse are public corruption.”

John McCain was the worst player in the Keating Five scandal:

John McCain’s connection to big money and big power is not new, he been on the take from the very beginning. He only got out of the Keating Five jam when some of his rich and powerful friends pulled strings to get him off.

The institute’s donations not only suggest special pleading before the senator, but also in some instances appear to contradict McCain’s vision of human rights and national security.

It accepted more than $100,000 from OCP, S.A., a Moroccan state-owned phosphate company operating in the Western Sahara, territory which Morocco seized in 1975. The North African country has since occupied the region by force in defiance of U.N. resolutions and legal declarations by other international bodies.

Morocco has come under criticism from human rights groups that the government violates basic human rights and that its state-owned companies subject its workforce to gruesome conditions while exploiting the disputed territory’s natural resources.

The Western Sahara holds half of the world’s phosphate reserves. Used to make fertilizer, phosphate is called Morocco’s “white gold.”

Last week, a South African court ruled in favor of the seizure of an OCP ship charged with illegally carrying 50,000 tons of phosphate from the Western Sahara. The country’s independence movement, which calls the territory the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, succeeded in convincing the court to keep the ship in port until the case is resolved.

The King of Morocco was a major donor to the Clinton Foundation. Hillary Clinton personally accepted $12 million from the King in return for holding a CGI regional meeting in the country. OCP also was a major sponsor of the CGI meeting, and Bill Clinton was the featured speaker.

The Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice has charged OCP with “serious human rights violations,” including exploitation of workers by not “adequately compensating the impoverished people who live there.”

McCain has lavished effusive praise on the King of Morocco, saying in 2011, that the country was a “positive example to governments across the Middle East and North Africa.”

McCain and Soros reportedly became friends after the senator was exposed as a member of the “Keating Five” during the savings and loan (S&L) industry scandal during former President George H.W. Bush’s administration. As the S&L bank chairman, Charles Keating paid $1.3 million to bribe five members of Congress to interfere with government regulators on behalf of the savings bank.

The experience so scarred McCain that he became a vigorous advocate of campaign finance reform and in the process reportedly became friends with Soros.

McCain recently claimed no involvement with the institute, saying “I’m proud that the institute is named after me, but I have nothing to do with it.”

The institute did not respond to requests for the dollar amounts of its high donors, when the donations were made and if there were strings attached to the contributions, claiming it did not have any of the information. Late Monday, the institute’s spokesman referred The DCNF to Arizona State University. source

TRUMP, CLINTON CONTINUE DOMINANCE IN 2016 PRIMARIES

Republican front-runner Donald Trump swept to victory in the Mississippi and Michigan presidential primaries Tuesday, deepening his grip on the GOP nominating contest. Democrat Hillary Clinton easily carried Mississippi but was locked in a close race with rival Bernie Sanders in Michigan.

The primaries offered Trump and Clinton a chance to pad their leads and start turning toward the general election. But Sanders was hoping to prevent a Clinton coronation with a strong showing in Michigan, the night’s biggest prize and the first Midwestern industrial state to vote in the 2016 race .

Trump, reveling in his victories at one of his Florida resorts, spoke like a general election candidate, emphasizing the importance of helping Republican senators and House members get elected in the fall. But he still took on rival Ted Cruz, who is closest to Trump in the delegate count.

“He’s always saying I’m the only one who can beat Donald Trump,” the businessman said. “But he never beats me.”

Trump entered Tuesday’s contests facing a barrage of criticism from rival candidates and outside groups who fear he would deeply damage Republicans’ chances of winning in November. While a handful of recent losses to Cruz have raised questions about Trump’s durability, Tuesday’s contests marked another lost opportunity for rivals to slow his momentum. source
