Russia and China are outpacing the United States in the development of super-fast hypersonic missile technology, Pentagon officials and key lawmakers are warning.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Yes, the US has the world’s biggest cache of nuclear weapons, that’s true. But that is not a defense for stopping incoming hypersonic missiles from Russia or China. Nukes are a response to an attack but do nothing to defend against it hitting targets on American soil. As we get closer to May 2018, it seems to me that, from a biblical perspective, all the ingredients for an end times conflict in multiple regions are settling into place. Why is America so far behind Russia and China in hypersonic technology? Because for 8 years Barack Obama stripped the military of dozens of generals and stopped the development of much-needed technology. The second reason is that I can show you Russia in the Bible, and I can show you China, but I cannot locate the United States as a participant in the end times. I think we are starting to see why now…

Russia says it successfully tested a so-called hypersonic missile this month, while China tested a similar system last year expected to enter service soon.

“Right now, we’re helpless,” Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said in advocating for more investment in hypersonics, along with missile defense.

Hypersonics are generally defined as missiles that can fly more than five times the speed of sound.

Gen. John Hyten, commander of U.S. Strategic Command, last week described a hypersonic as a missile that starts out “like a ballistic missile, but then it depresses the trajectory and then flies more like a cruise missile or an airplane. So it goes up into the low reaches of space, and then turns immediately back down and then levels out and flies at a very high level of speed.”

In November, China reportedly conducted two tests of a ballistic missile with a hypersonic glide vehicle that U.S. assessments expect to reach initial operating capability around 2020. The country had already conducted at least seven tests of experimental systems from 2014 to 2016.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a flashy state of the nation address to tout a slate of new weapons, including a hypersonic missile he claimed was “invincible” against U.S. missile defenses. About a week later, Russia claimed it successfully tested a hypersonic.

At the time of Putin’s announcement, the Pentagon said it was “not surprised” by the report and assured the public that it is “fully prepared” to respond to such a threat.

But in congressional testimony last week, Hyten conceded U.S. missile defense cannot stop hypersonics. He said that the U.S. is instead relying on nuclear deterrence, or the threat of a retaliatory U.S. strike, as its defense against such missiles.

“We don’t have any defense that could deny the employment of such a weapon against us, so our response would be our deterrent force, which would be the triad and the nuclear capabilities that we have to respond to such a threat,” Hyten told the Senate Armed Services Committee.

To bolster missile defenses against hypersonics, Hyten advocated space-based sensors.

“I believe we need to pursue improved sensor capabilities to be able to track, characterize and attribute the threats, wherever they come from,” he said. “And, right now, we have a challenge with that, with our current on-orbit space architecture and the limited number of radars that we have around the world. In order to see those threats, I believe we need a new space sensor architecture.”

Asked if the U.S. is really falling behind Russia and China on hypersonics, Thomas Karako, director of the Missile Defense Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said flatly: “Yes.”

“And the reason is the U.S. hasn’t been doing anything near the same pace both in terms of developing our own capabilities but also failing to develop sensors and shooters necessary to shoot down theirs,” he continued.

Terrestrial sensors are limited in their ability because of the curvature of the earth, Karako said, but “you can’t hide from a robust constellation of space-based sensors.”

Yet while the last five administrations have identified space-based sensors as a critical need on paper, nothing has come to fruition, he said.

“One of the reasons that we haven’t prioritized the hypersonic threat is we were slow to kind of appreciate not merely the Russia and China problem, but the Russia and China missile problem,” Karako said.

In that regard, he credited the National Defense Strategy and the Nuclear Posture Review, both of which were unveiled by the Trump administration earlier this year, for their renewed focus on a “great power competition” with Russia and China.

Sen. Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), chairwoman of the Senate Armed Services Strategic Forces Subcommittee, likewise cited them as helping the U.S. get back on track in the area of hypersonics.

“I think we are aware of the capabilities that our adversaries have, and … whether it’s the Nuclear Posture Review, National Defense Strategy, these are all laid out because of the identification of the threats we have,” she said.

Fischer added that there “probably will be” something about hypersonics in her subcommittee’s portion of this year’s annual defense policy bill.

But the Nuclear Posture Review, in particular, has been controversial for its call to develop a sea-launched nuclear cruise missile and a “low yield” warhead for submarine-launched ballistic missiles. Those new capabilities are part of the deterrence that Hyten cited, but critics say the document is poised to fuel an arms race.

“Calling for the addition of new weapons and weapons capabilities to our arsenal and expanding the role of nuclear weapons in U.S. national security strategy imposes significant economic burdens and undermines decades of United States leadership to prevent the use and spread of nuclear weapons,” more than 40 House Democrats, led by Reps. Earl Blumenauer (Ore.), Barbara Lee (Calif.) and Mike Quigley (Ill.), wrote Monday in a letter to President Trump.

“We oppose this approach and will continue to support maintaining an effective nuclear deterrent without wasting taxpayer dollars, inciting a new arms race or risking nuclear conflict,” they said.

In addition to the nuclear review, Pentagon officials have been touting budget proposals that would put more money toward hypersonics and missile defense that they say will help close the gap with Russia and China.

Hyten told the Senate Armed Services Committee that there’s $42 million in the fiscal year 2019 budget for the Air Force and the Missile Defense Agency to work on a prototype for space-based sensors.

Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson, meanwhile, told the House Armed Services Committee last week her fiscal 2019 budget includes $258 million for hypersonics.

And Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Director Steven Walker touted his $256.7 million fiscal 2019 budget for hypersonic missile development the same day as Putin’s press conference. Still, he said, DARPA needs more money for infrastructure to test the missiles, as most of the agency’s testing is done out of one facility.

“The dollars that were allocated in this budget were great, but they were really focused on adding more flight tests and getting some of our offensive capability further down the line into operational prototypes,” he told the Defense Writers Group. “We do need an infusion of dollars in our infrastructure to do hypersonics.”

Inhofe, the senator from Oklahoma, said he’s most worried about the missile defense issue, adding there “appears to be no defense” against hypersonics. To him, the answer is reversing defense budget cuts, which Congress has taken steps to do in a two-year budget deal and a recently passed appropriations bill for fiscal 2018.

“We need to make up the losses that we had during the Obama administration by putting a priority, which we are doing now, on the military,” he said. source

AXIS OF EVIL: Leaders From Russia, North Korea And Iran Attend A Massive Military Parade In China As Xi Flexes Muscle And Sends Warning To America

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

Xi Jinping was joined by leaders from Russia, North Korea and Iran at the event Wednesday in a display of unity against the West by what has come to be called the ‘Axis of Evil’

The very first story we published back on January 1 of 2020 was on the war games being conducted for the first time ever between China, Russia and Iran. Since that time, this ‘Axis of Evil’ has grown to now include North Korea, and predictably so. Yesterday, leaders from all 4 nations gathered in a powerful and anti-American show of strength in China to watch as President Xi flexed his  muscle in an enormous show of military might. One that made last summer’s military parade by Trump look like an elementary school picnic. Is the Axis of Evil preparing for a battle of biblical proportion? All signs are pointing to it, and that’s the memo.

“And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.” Revelation 9:16 (KJB)

The winds of change are in the air, and not just in Asia. Over in Europe, Emmanuel Macron says that dreams of a Palestinian state are calling to him in the night, and that on September 22nd, he’s going to stand up at the United Nations with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman by his side, with the king of Jordan looking on. Over on his Truth Social page , President Donald Trump posted “May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration. Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America” Wow. Tick-tock goes the end times clock…

China parades its military might, and its friends, in a defiant display for the U.S.

FROM NBC NEWS: More than 50,000 people filled Tiananmen Square in the Chinese capital on Wednesday for a huge military parade showcasing the rapid evolution of China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA). It marked the culmination of a week of high-level diplomacy and years of work by Chinese leader Xi Jinping to challenge America’s dominance on the global stage.

Poking out of the sunroof of a moving limousine, Xi conducted a troop review at the start of the parade, which celebrated the 80th anniversary of Imperial Japan’s surrender at the end of World War II. China then unveiled dozens of its latest weapons, including nuclear-capable missiles that can be launched from the air, ground or sea, as well as lasers, undersea drones and a “highly intelligent” tank, before concluding the parade with the release of 80,000 doves and 80,000 balloons.

Xi was joined by leaders from Russia, North Korea and Iran in a display of unity against the West by what has come to be called the “Axis of Upheaval.” They are all central players in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine, which shows no signs of ending despite President Donald Trump’s push for peace.

Kim Jong Un has sent Moscow both troops and weapons, while U.S. officials say Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has supplied drones. Though Xi has strived to assert neutrality in the conflict, he has provided Russia with a diplomatic and economic lifeline.

The U.S. and other Western governments largely stayed away from the parade, in part because of Putin’s presence.

That hardly seemed to matter to Xi, Putin and Kim, who ascended the rostrum overlooking the parade together in their first joint public appearance.

“The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is unstoppable,” Xi said in remarks opening the parade. “The noble cause of peace and development for humanity will surely triumph.”

Foreign media was heavily controlled, with authorities prohibiting journalists from so much as pointing a phone in the direction of the three leaders. The parade was closely watched around the world, including by Trump, who posted not long after it started to ask whether Xi would also honor U.S. troops who died supporting China against Japanese occupation during the war.

“May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration,” he wrote on Truth Social. “Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America.” READ MORE

AXIS ALLIANCE: Iran, Russia And China Begin Joint Military Exercise ‘Operation Maritime Security Belt 2025’ In Preparation For The Coming World War

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

Russia, China and Iran come together for naval drills in ‘Operation Maritime Security Belt 2025’ as Axis alliance continues to grow and gain power

Five years ago, on January 1 2020, our very first article of that incredible year was about the first-ever joint military alliance between Russia, China and Iran, that’s how 2020 started. The operation was called the ‘Marine Security Belt’. Yesterday, Russia, China and Iran kicked off ‘Operation Maritime Security Belt 2025’, whose aim is to increase coordination between Russia and China to defend and protect Iran. Today is Day 1,821 of 15 Days To Flatten The Curve, and the needle remains pinned at the top of the end times meter. That’s the memo.

“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.” Ecclesiastes 1:9,10 (KJB)

As sure as I’m sitting here writing this, and you sitting there reading it, we are headed for WWIII like a bullet, with all the key factors needed for such an event present and accounted for. WWI prepared the land for the Jews, WWII prepared the Jews for the land, and WWIII will prepare them for the time of Jacob’s trouble. Buckle up, Christian, and let’s work to put a few more souls in  the seats on Flight #777 while we still can. TO THE FLIGHT!!!

Russia, China and Iran combine military muscle for ‘Operation Maritime Security Belt 2025’

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: Iran’s navy is taking part in a three-day drill with Russia and China. Iranian media said that the Iranian navy had successfully executed the second day of the joint drill. “The three-day naval drills, codenamed the 2025 Maritime Security Belt, kicked off Monday in the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Oman,” the report said.

“Rear Admiral Mostafa Tajeddini, deputy operations commander of the Iranian Navy, said on Tuesday that aerial photography exercises and tactical formations were successfully conducted during the joint maritime drill,” IRNA added.

Iran says that its navy is “committed to establishing security both regionally and globally, adding that the Navy will not allow any threats or incursions into the nation’s maritime borders.” Iran doesn’t have a very large navy. The importance is largely related to coordination with China and Russia.

Meanwhile, Iranian Rear Admiral Shahram Irani slammed Trump in comments on March 11. He claimed that Trump had said that the US was not concerned about joint drills. “He said that the participation of three countries in the military exercise, titled Security Belt 2025, is focused on fostering security, contrasting it with the presence of countries like the United States, which consistently contributed to global instability,” IRNA noted. He also praised the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS, of which Iran is a member.

Russia ties are important. Iran provides Moscow with drones. Iran and Russia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to produce microelectronic components, Iran’s state media said. “Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade signed the agreement with the Nano and Micro Technology Development Headquarters, a division of the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and the Knowledge-Based Economy, on Tuesday, the Moscow-based Kommersant newspaper reported.” The report adds that the Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center (ZNTC), “one of Russia’s leading firms in nanotechnology,” will to produce advanced nanolithography equipment, telecommunication multiplexers, and automotive sensors.

The naval drills come as Iran seeks to project power in the region. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said, “Iran is determined to fulfill its obligation to the Iraqi administration in thwarting unlawful actions by the United States.” In addition, the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) said it has “dispatched 500 tons of humanitarian aid to Lebanon, according to Babak Mahmoud, the head of the IRCS Aid and Relief Organization.” This shows Iran shoring up support in Iraq and Lebanon.

Iran also said on March 11 that it has not received a letter from US President Donald Trump, “days after he claimed to have sent such a letter to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei,” IRNA noted. READ MORE

Iran, China, and Russia have launched their annual Security Belt-2025 naval drills in the Gulf of Oman, reinforcing military ties amid shifting global alliances under US President Donald Trump. The exercises, involving warships, helicopters, and support vessels, are strategically significant as they take place near the vital Strait of Hormuz, through which a quarter of the world’s oil shipments pass. While Trump dismissed concerns over the joint drills, asserting US military superiority, analysts view them as a sign of growing coordination among authoritarian states seeking to counterbalance Washington’s influence. With tensions escalating between the US and Iran—especially as Trump’s “maximum pressure” campaign intensifies—Iranian military officials have warned they are fully prepared for any confrontation. The presence of international observers from multiple countries highlights the broader geopolitical impact of these exercises, as Iran, China, and Russia showcase their ability to secure key maritime routes.

FIGHT TO THE END: China Tells Trump That They Are ‘Ready For War’ With America Whether It Be Over Tariffs, Trade Or Any Other Type Of Battle

Published

on

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

China says it is ‘ready for war’ with America as it raises defence spending and imposes retaliatory tariffs on US imports.

The only problem with talking tough is that at some point, somebody will take you up on it, and today Communist China has issued a statement saying they are not afraid of any type of war that President Trump and his administration may wish to engage in. China has the second largest military defense spending budget in the world, second only to America. China also has the world’s largest standing army with just under 3 million soldiers, nearly triple the size of America’s military. Fun fact, 2025 is the Chinese Year of the Snake, and that’s the memo.

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.” Revelation 16:12 (KJB)

Donald Trump has burst back into the Oval Office, raring to go and take on the world, and he was settled on a “slash and burn” approach to making it happen. That makes for great headlines, it doesn’t necessarily make for good foreign policy. Putting tariffs on countries like Canada and Mexico is one thing, doing it to China is something else entirely. As we told you yesterday, over in Europe they have begun to prepare for the global conflict that just about everyone concedes as inevitable. Is it? Sure looks that way. Wars and rumours of war are everywhere you look, exactly as your King James Bible tells you it will be in the time of the end. You are here.

China says it is ‘ready for war’ with America

FROM THE TELEGRAPH UK: In a direct threat to Donald Trump, China’s representatives in America said: “If war is what the US wants, be it a tariff war, a trade war or any other type of war, we’re ready to fight till the end.” The US has hit China with 20 per cent tariffs in response to what the White House considers to be Chinese inaction over the flow of fentanyl into America. Beijing has responded by announcing plans to boost defence spending by 7.2 per cent and to hit the US with reciprocal tariffs of 10 to 15 per cent on certain imports from March 10.

The fiery language comes as China’s top legislature met for annual “Two Sessions” meetings in Beijing, where plans to boost defence spending by 7.2 per cent were revealed. The rise in spending is equal to the jump last year and takes the official budget to roughly 1.78 trillion yuan (£190 billion), as China pursues the goal of Xi Jinping, its president, to build a modern military by 2027.

On Wednesday, Li Qiang, China’s premier, vowed there would be “all out efforts” to hit the target in his annual address to the legislature, adding that Beijing “will step up military training and combat readiness so as to firmly safeguard China’s sovereignty, security and development interests”.

The Asian superpower has stoked alarm with increasingly aggressive moves in Asia and the Pacific – including recent live-fire drills off the Australian coast, military exercises close to Taiwan and Vietnam and confrontations with the Philippine coast guard in the South China Sea. Japan, South Korea and India have all criticised the projections of military might.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that China is developing a new nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, which would be larger and more advanced than any vessel in its fleet, in an attempt to rival the US. Although Beijing has the second-largest military budget in the world, however, it remains dwarfed by American spending – even accounting for Mr Trump’s plans to cut the budget by eight per cent over the next five years.

The US military budget for 2025 stands at around $850 billion (£662 billion). Although the Pentagon says China spends more than it publicly declares – up to $450 billion, when items listed in other budgets are included – the official sum still represents less than two per cent of GDP, which is below Sir Keir Starmer’s proposed spend of 2.5 per cent. Analysts have cautioned that despite the strong rhetoric, China is not yet actively gearing up for war. Beijing’s strong language was triggered by the Trump administration’s new tariffs, which also hit Mexico and Canada and came into force on Tuesday. READ MORE

China says it is ‘ready for war’ with America on any level

Donald Trump has admitted his tariffs on major trading partners will cause “a little disturbance” – as China said it was “ready” for “any type of war” with the US. The US president made his comments in an address to Congress, hours after the levies on imports came into effect. The Chinese embassy in the US posted on X: “If war is what the US wants, be it a tariff war, a trade war or any other type of war, we’re ready to fight till the end.”
