California Assemblyman Evan Low and three dozen other lawmakers are pushing resolution ACR-99 in the state Assembly Judiciary Committee that’s aimed at telling religious leaders in California what they should preach from their pulpits.

The attacks on Christianity in America are coming so fast and so often now that it’s nearly impossible to keep up with all of it at the same time. But in a nutshell, the pendulum is swinging all the way from a nation being founded on Christianity and the Bible, to a nation rejecting and persecuting Christianity and the Bible.

“And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.” Acts 5:40-42 (KJV)

It is my personal belief, based on nearly 30 years of studying the scriptures, that America is right now under the active judgment of God which as near as I can figure began under President Obama back in 2012. Over the past 7 years, we have watched the LGBTQ+P for Pedophile Movement rise to a level of power and control once thought unimaginable. In this war for the soul of America, to be neutral is to concede defeat. Which side are you on?

FROM CBN NEWS: The California Family Council reports that Assembly Concurrent Resolution 99 (ACR 99) calls on “counselors, pastors, religious workers, educators” and institutions with “great moral influence” to stop perpetuating the idea that something is wrong with LGBT identities or sexual behavior. ACR 99 also condemns attempts to change unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion as “unethical,” “harmful,” and leading to high rates of suicide.

Two formerly gay individuals, Pastors Ken Williams and Elizabeth Woning, argue against the resolution, calling it “discriminatory” against people like themselves, who overcame suicidal thoughts by following their faith away from their LGBT identities. They now lead a ministry called Equipped to Love that helps others like them to find health and wholeness.

“For us, walking out our faith with biblical conviction means life and hope. Our faith has saved us from suicide and given us freedom to live with clear consciences,” Woning said. “We too would like to be acknowledged and affirmed…Instead, activists attack our efforts to care for like-minded friends by promoting dangerous counseling restrictions and stifling our free speech,” she added.

Williams feels the same way. “For years, I believed that even God hated me because of my behavior,” he said. “But in my early 20s, I encountered a God who loved me despite my sins and temptations. Today, I love my life. I have been married to my beautiful wife for 13 years, and we have created four incredible children together. To someone like me, California Assemblyman Evan Low’s proposed resolution, ACR-99, feels like an unfair and direct attack.”

Despite Low’s claim that this resolution has the support of some California religious leaders, other pastors and religious leaders with a traditional view on gender and sexuality are publicly opposing ACR 99.

Besides Woning who wrote, “The Not So Subtle Discrimination of ACR-99,” and Williams who wrote, “Controlled by the State,” ordained pastoral counselor Pastor Joe Dallas published, “Pride of Ownership,” in which he argues, “While warning against the dangers of so-called Conversion Therapy, ACR 99 restricts much more than counseling, which attempts to change internal sexual responses.”

“It, in fact, dictates to pastors that they cannot teach that homosexuality is a sin, nor can they encourage homosexually-attracted people who hold a traditional Biblical view to live in accordance with their own faith,” Dallas added.

A coalition of professional counselors, doctors, attorneys, and faith-based non-profits, have also signed onto a letter pointing out the resolution’s inaccuracies and its threats to basic liberty. “People should have the freedom to pursue what brings them true happiness and joy. ACR 99 is trying to cut people off from their own pathway to happiness,” writes the coalition.

The letter goes on to provide proof that traditional faiths are not the cause for high suicide rates among those identifying as LGBT. It points out, “Professional organizations agree that same-sex attraction and gender dysphoria are not simply biologically caused, they often change.” And “contrary to misrepresentations, therapists who are open to a client’s goal of change use non-aversive, well-established mainstream practices and evidence-based treatments for trauma and addictions used by professional therapists worldwide.”

A comment in the letter emphasizes seeking assistance from traditional therapists, pastors, and faith-based ministries who can help with unwanted homosexuality and gender dysphoria.

The letter concludes by expressing “grave concern that Assemblyman Low’s resolution, like the discriminatory guilds he references, privileges sexual and gender minorities of so-called ‘progressive’ values and goals at the expense of those of traditional values and goals. It is unconstitutional to strip any person of any First Amendment freedoms, and it is inhumane to prohibit individuals from addressing their own personal pain and desire for healing and change.”

One News Now reports that Brad Dacus, president of Pacific Justice Institute, outlines ACR-99 as “an outrageous violation of the state deciding to pressure what pastors teach and preach as they minister to individuals who are struggling with same-sex attraction or gender identity issues.”

CBN News previously reported on Christian therapy saving lives: “I walked out of a Christian bookstore suicidal when I was 17 because they didn’t have any books to help me. Thank God I found a counselor who was able to partner with me in my choice to not live according to my same-sex desires,” shared Ken Williams, a pastor at Bethel Church and a former homosexual.

Another man, Edward Byrd, said, “I didn’t know I could have freedom. How will people know they can get out of this lifestyle?” he asks. “I know people in the lifestyle now who don’t know a way out.” READ MORE

Bible students love to go to the book of the prophet Daniel to read about the end times and Antichrist, and I do agree, that’s one of the most exciting books of the Bible. For sure. But what many Christians often overlook is Daniel’s great prayer we see there in chapter 9, and contained in that prayer is a God-approved framework for Christians here in the 21st century. If you want to hear from God, this is where you begin, with the prayer of Daniel. Not what he prayed for, but how he prayed is the key.

“And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;” Daniel 9:3,4 (KJB)

SUNDAY SERVICE STUDY NOTES: The Prayer of Daniel

The Prayer of Daniel

Bible students love to go to the book of the prophet Daniel to read about the end times and Antichrist, and I do agree, that’s one of the most exciting books of the Bible. For sure. But what many often overlook is Daniel’s great prayer we see there in chapter 9, and contained in that prayer is a God-approved framework for Christians here in the 21st century.

1). Daniel The Prophet Still Needed To Do Bible Study

Nothing takes the place of good, old-fashioned Bible study, and even the prophets were not above having to do it. The first step to supercharging your prayer life is studying in your King James Bible.

“In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.” Daniel 9:1 (KJB)

  • “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJB)

2). Daniel’s Main Weapon Was Prayer

Daniel wasn’t speaking in tongues or same crazy things, he knew his main weapon was prayer with the Lord. Our main weapon is the same thing, prayer.

“And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;” Daniel 9:3,4 (KJB)

  • “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6 (KJB)

3). Daniel Gets Real With God

Daniel shows us the importance of getting on your face before God, getting real with God, and making your accounts are up to date. You take a shower every day, brush your teeth every day, you should confess your sin before the Lord everyday as well.

“And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;” Daniel 9:4 (KJB)

  • “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:11 (KJB)

4). Daniel Appeals To Scripture, Not Feelings and Emotions

Too many people want to have a feeling, an experience, or some other emotional outburst, and I am not against those things, but we are not ruled by those things and neither to we appeal to those things. The word of God is your platform, not your feelings.

“As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.” Daniel 9:13 (KJB)

  • “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16,17 (KJB)

5). Daniel Hears From God

You will notice where on the timeline that Daniel begins to hear back from God, after he had studied the word, confessed his sin, gotten right with the Lord and appealed to His preserved word. Your path is exactly the same. If you want to ‘hear from God’, then you need to pray how Daniel prayer, and I promise you will hear from God.

“And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God; Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.” Daniel 9:20-23 (KJB)

  • “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJB)

Humbleness and Humility

Daniel was a very humble person, and the Bible places a high premium on humility and humbleness. God honors the man or woman who will humble themselves before Him.

“For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” Isaiah 57:15 (KJB)

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” 1 Peter 5:6 (KJB)

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4:10 (KJB)

“When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.” Job 22:29 (KJB)

“LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:” Psalm 10:17 (KJB)

“Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.” Philippians 2:4 (KJB)

President Trump told the nation earlier today that the US would now take over running Venezuela, and control its oil calling the the ‘Donroe Doctrine’

President Trump stepped to the microphones on January 3, 2026 and said the quiet part out loud: the United States would run Venezuela during a “transition,” and would “get the oil flowing.” That’s not “foreign policy.” That’s the language of occupation, the kind of talk you hear right before lawyers start arguing about “authority,” “stability,” and “temporary measures” that have a way of becoming permanent.

And here’s the part you can’t miss: the oil isn’t a side-note in this story, it’s a theme. Reuters reported Trump saying U.S. oil companies are ready to invest billions to revive Venezuela’s oil sector after Maduro’s capture, while the U.S. military would stay “until demands are fulfilled.” Another report describes Venezuela’s oil infrastructure as decayed and difficult to revive quickly, meaning this isn’t a “weekend project” — it’s a long entanglement. For all of you MAGA followers an QAnon supporters, if Barack Obama and Joe Biden were doing what Trump is doing right now, would you still be cheering as loudly as you are now? Would you even be cheering at all? No, you would be denouncing it and demanding they stop. Trump is just getting started with the upcoming series of wars and military campaigns he has planned, so get ready for war, and lots of it.

Trump says US will ‘temporarily’ run Venezuela, ‘not afraid of boots on ground’ if necessary

FROM THE NY POST: “We’re going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition,” Trump said at a press conference from his Mar-a-Lago resort as he provided new details on the stunning military operation.

“We’re going to run it, essentially” through the transition, he said.

The logistics of a US-run Venezuela were still being worked out, but Trump said it might involve military “boots on the ground.”

“We’re not afraid of boots on the ground if we have to,” the president said.  “We had boots on the ground last night, at a very high level, actually.”

Later, Trump added, “We’re going to have a presence in Venezuela as it pertains to oil.”

In a strong assertion of US national prerogative in the hemisphere, Trump said he had one-upped the Monroe Doctrine of the nation’s early history. “They now call it the Donroe Doctrine,” Trump quipped, while flanked by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and CIA Director John Ratcliffe.

He brushed off questions about the US’s record of running countries in Latin America over the last century and even whether it was consistent with his “America First” mantra. “We’re going to run the country right, it’s going to be run very judiciously, very fairly,” Trump said. READ MORE
