PREPARING FOR 2020: Microsoft Partners With Liberal Disinformation Company NewsGuard To Blacklist Stories That Support A Conservative Viewpoint

NewsGuard, which is the establishment media’s latest effort to blacklist alternative media sites, is giving its sign of approval to proven hoaxes, even to stories that have been retracted.

This story is personal for me, let me tell you why. Back on January 6th of this year, I was contacted by a woman named Jennie Kamin who said she was from a company called NewsGuard. She wrote to me and said  “I am doing a site review of NowTheEndBegins.com for NewsGuard a news rating agency, and just had a few requests for comment. I appreciate your help in meeting my Tuesday deadline.”

“The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Jeremiah 5:31 (KJV)

As it turns out, her “few requests” for comments were no fewer than 9 different questions and statements, all of which accused me of writing false news, fake news, misleading news and stated that I used “sensational headlines” in my articles. On that last count, guilty as charged. But on the others, well…not a chance. One of the things she seemed to get stuck on was that NTEB “does not appear to disclose its conservative-leaning to readers“. Really, Jennie?

You have to go to college to get “so smart” that you can come to a site like Now The End Begins, a site loaded to overflowing with thousands of articles and stories that stand for God, the Bible, Jesus Christ, promotes Conservative values, stands against the Progressive Liberals, and then come away asking why we don’t “disclose our conservative leanings” to our readers. Kind of like saying that signs should be posted at all beaches stating that “caution, ocean water may be wet today, and salty, too“.

Ms Kamin’s bio on NewsGuard lists her as a producer for CBS News, a graduate from Tulane with a Masters Degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Lastly, it says that in 2008, Jennie was a Hillary Clinton delegate at the Texas State Democratic Convention. As Paul Harvey would say, now we know the ‘rest of the story’. Looks to me like someone is trying to set the table for another run in 2020, and wants to start by silencing the alternative media like NTEB.

Gee, I wonder how NewsGuard will rate this story, lol. And do you think that Jennie Kamin, with her Masters degree in journalism, knows that Now The End Begins is already listed as an official ‘hate group’ by the race baiters over at the Southern Poverty Law Center? Lions and tigers and bears…oh, my! Excuse my while I run to my ‘safe space‘ to cool down a little.

Disinformation Campaign From NewsGuard And Microsoft Labels Proven Hoaxes And Flat Out Lies As ‘Credible’ In Order To Control What You Think

Microsoft is so desperate to spread fake news and blacklist ideas it doesn’t like, NewsGuard is automatically included in one of its browsers. You will find more examples below, but here is NewsGuard’s seal of approval (on the Google search page) for Rolling Stone’s 2014 hoax about a gang rape at the University of Virginia (UVA).

Rolling Stone which NewsGuard gave a passing grade, was eventually forced to retract the story and settle some lawsuits, but the far-left HuffPost’s aggregation of Rolling Stone’s proven lie is still live, and that green checkmark is NewsGuard’s way of telling readers they are reading something credible:

You see, when you do a Google search of stories, NewsGuard and Microsoft use the green checkmark to tell you what is and is not credible, what is and is not blacklisted, and this is NewsGuard giving the green light to a story that was so fake, it had to be retracted.

Compare that to NewsGuard’s labeling as fake news a basic news story like this one:

Why is NewsGuard labeling that fake news? Simply because Breitbart News published it. We didn’t even write that story. The AP did. We are simply aggregating the AP…

Look at the roundup below, which took less than 20 minutes to track down. Every single one of these stories is fake news, starting with BuzzFeed’s debunked lie about President Trump telling his then-personal attorney, Michael Cohen, to lie to Congress.

Look at how NewsGuard and Microsoft openly and audaciously deceive their readers:

  • The Washington Post’s debunked hoax about Russia hacking Vermont’s utility grid — credible!
  • The lie about first lady Melania Trump being an illegal alien — credible!
  • The lie about Trump changing the name of Black History Month — credible!
  • The lie about Trump threatening to invade Mexico — credible!
  • The lie about Congress investigating a Russian fund with ties to Trump — credible!

So why are NewsGuard and Microsoft deliberately marking fake news as credible? Why are they looking to fool people into believing proven hoaxes are legitimate stories — even outrageous ones about the first lady coming to the country illegally?

This is all about 2020, my friends.

As I pointed out last week, NewsGuard marks as fake every single story Breitbart News publishes — not because the story is inaccurate, but because we report stories NewsGuard does not believe should be reported.

Nowhere in NewsGuard’s lengthy attack on us will you find a single example of a story Breitbart News got wrong. Nowhere can NewsGuard point to an example where our readers were misled.

You can see for yourself.

So we are not placed on NewsGuard’s blacklist for being inaccurate, for being deceptive, for not being careful. No, we are being blacklisted for uncovering and reporting things NewsGuard does not want uncovered and reported.

Meanwhile, NewsGuard is literally marking fake news stories as credible.

So what we have here is a fascist group of blacklisters looking to dupe as many people as possible into believing UVA has a rape problem, Melania Trump was an illegal alien, the Russians hacked into our electric grid, Trump told his attorney to lie, and so on…

In a 50/50 country, NewsGuard and Microsoft are obviously hoping to tip the election by fooling enough people into believing up is down and black is white.

There is no other explanation for Microsoft and NewsGuard deliberately marking proven fake news as “credible” and legitimate news as fake.

Showing Themselves To Be Neither ‘Decimated’ Nor ‘Obliterated’, Iran Shoots Down American Aircraft At Will As World War Trump Takes A Dark New Turn

Neither decimated nor obliterated, Iran downs American warplanes and exposes the lie that this widening World War Trump is under control

For weeks now, the American people have been told that Iran was “decimated” and “obliterated,” that its ability to resist had been shattered, and that overwhelming force had already reduced the enemy to rubble. But now the battlefield is answering back with a very different testimony. AP reported Friday that two U.S. military aircraft were shot down as the war escalated, including an F-15E over Iran with one crew member rescued and another still missing. The Washington Post likewise reported that a second U.S. aircraft, an A-10, was also brought down, even as American rescue operations intensified. That is not what “obliterated” looks like. Today marks the single worst day for World War Trump since the conflict began. It only gets worse from this point on, so buckle up.

As the skies darken overseas, the Pentagon is being thrown into visible turmoil at home. AP reported yesterday that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth asked Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to step down and also dismissed two other generals, adding to a broader pattern of removals among senior military leadership during this widening war. That is what makes this moment so dangerous. America is now watching a war grow more costly and less predictable at the exact same time that the military chain of command is being shaken at the top. Iran is proving it can still strike, still contest the fight, still bloody American power, while Hegseth is purging senior officers in the middle of a regional firestorm. That is not stability. That is not control. That is not confidence. That is a government trying to project strength while the structure underneath it visibly trembles. This is why a Fox News host is not fit to run the Pentagon.

What we are seeing is the same old lie that has dragged nations into disaster for generations. First comes the boasting. Then comes the inflated language. Then comes the media chorus repeating that victory is assured, the enemy is broken, and the situation is under control. But war has a way of stripping the paint off every official narrative. Jets fall. Men go missing. Rescue missions are launched. The enemy everyone said was finished keeps fighting. And suddenly all the slogans Trump has been feeding his base don’t sound so convincing anymore.

Hegseth’s role in this only sharpens the sense of disorder. You do not fire top generals in the middle of a shooting war and then expect the public to believe everything is proceeding calmly and according to plan. Maybe the administration calls it accountability. Maybe it calls it reform. But from the outside, it looks like upheaval at the summit while the battlefield below grows hotter by the hour. AP says more than a dozen military leaders have been removed in the past year under Hegseth’s tenure. By any fair standard of reckoning, that’s a purge.

The truly maddening part is that none of this should surprise anybody paying attention. Iran was never going to absorb repeated blows and simply disappear. A regime with missiles, air defenses, regional reach, hardened infrastructure, and ideological resolve was never going to be erased by chest-thumping rhetoric and triumphant press lines. The fantasy was always political. The reality is military. And now the military reality is tearing through the political fantasy in front of the whole world. AP has already reported other Iranian strikes during this war, including an attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia that wounded U.S. troops and damaged aircraft.

So yes, it’s safe to say that this war has taken a dark turn, a very dark turn.

Iran has shown itself to be neither “decimated” nor “obliterated.” It is battered, yes. Pressured, yes. Under attack, yes. But it is still capable of inflicting damage, still capable of challenging American power, and still capable of exposing how hollow the original boasts were. And while that reality unfolds abroad, Pete Hegseth is remaking the Department of War through abrupt removals that only deepen the impression of a war machine under strain.

The message from Washington is strength, command, and dominance, but the message from events is something very different: this thing is slipping, the cost is rising, the leadership is unstable, and the promises made at the beginning are already being swallowed by the flames. That is the dark turn. And once the official story can no longer survive contact with reality, the next thing to die is trust.

Franklin Graham was named as one of the commission members, and the White House also announced advisory-board appointments tied to that same commission. The Evangelical Industrial Complex surrounding Trump  is a blended coalition of evangelical celebrity, political access, Roman Catholic symbolism, nationalist messaging, and media-stage religion. Erika Kirk now leads Turning Point USA, and Trump appointed her to the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors. Jack Posobiec was photographed holding up a rosary while speaking at Charlie Kirk’s memorial in September 2025. Pete Hegseth publicly described his Jerusalem cross tattoo as a “historic Christian symbol,” while coverage of the controversy also notes his “Deus vult” tattoo, a phrase tied historically to the Roman Catholic Crusades. Yesterday, the White House quickly deleted a video of Trump’s spiritual advisor Paula White comparing his presidency to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ that quickly sparked outrage all across social media.
