For months, the Biden White House refrained from criticizing Republican officials who played down the importance of coronavirus vaccinations or sought to make political hay of the federal government’s all-out effort to drive shots into arms. Not any longer.

If you’re like me, someone who reads and believes his King James Bible, then it’s highly likely you’ve elected to not receive the COVID-19 vaccine that’s caused almost a million adverse reactions and resulted in the death of nearly 10,000 people. That old, black-backed 7-sealed Book gives you some pretty good discernement. But I would like to offer a word of advice and encouragement of what you should do when Biden’s vaccine minions come knocking on your door.

“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” 2 Timothy 4:1,2 (KJB)

First, make sure you have a good King James Bible within easy reach, and second, make sure you are stocked with gospel tracts by your front door. Begin now to pray the Holy Spirit gives you wisdom to have the right words to speak when they come to your door. Be warm, cordial and courteous as is befitting a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. When you open the door, invite them in and make them feel welcome. Listen to what they have to say about pressuring you to take the COVID-19 vaccine. When they finish speaking, thank them for thier time and concern for your well-being. Then tell them how concerned you are for their soul, and tell them according to the scriptures how they can have assurance of eternal life.

“Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:38 (KJB)

When God saved you, He left you here so that you could be a bold and brave witness for the Lord Jesus Christ, and I can think of no better opportunity than to be that witness He saved you to be when they come to your door. This is the front lines of the end times, we have Bibles not bullets, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, right? Right. When they come, and they are coming, be ready to tell them how to get saved. That’s what Paul would do, that’s what I’m going to do, and I encourage you to do the same. White House calling out critics of door-to-door vaccine push

FROM THE ASSOCIATED PRESS: With the COVID-19 vaccination rate plateauing across the country, the White House is returning fire at those they see as spreading harmful misinformation or fear about the shots. When South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster tried this week to block door-to-door efforts to drive up the vaccination rate in his state, White House press secretary Jen Psaki did not mince words in her reaction.

“The failure to provide accurate public health information, including the efficacy of vaccines and the accessibility of them to people across the country, including South Carolina, is literally killing people, so maybe they should consider that,” she said Friday.

While 67% of American adults have gotten at least one dose, officials are increasingly worried about vast geographic disparity in vaccination rates, and the emergence of what some experts warn could be two dramatically different realities for the country in the coming months: High vaccine uptake and lower caseloads in more Democratic-leaning parts of the country, and fresh hot spots and the development of dangerous variants in more GOP-leaning areas.

In the early months of the administration, the White House largely declined to criticize state and local officials’ handling of their vaccination programs, eager to maintain their buy-in and to prevent the politicization of the lifesaving campaign. The recent change in tone comes after some GOP officials criticized President Joe Biden for calling for a door-to-door campaign to spread information about the safety and efficacy of vaccines in hopes it would encourage more people to get vaccinated.

“Now we need to go to community-by-community, neighborhood-by-neighborhood, and oftentimes, door-to-door — literally knocking on doors — to get help to the remaining people” who need to be vaccinated, Biden said Tuesday.

The grassroots component of the vaccination campaign has been in operation since April, when supplies of shots began outpacing demand. It was outlined and funded by Congress in the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill passed in March and overwhelmingly is carried out by local officials and private sector workers and volunteers.

But some in the GOP saw a political opening, catering to the party’s small-government roots and libertarian wing.

“The Biden Administration wants to knock on your door to see if you’re vaccinated,” tweeted Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan. “What’s next? Knocking on your door to see if you own a gun?”

McMaster asked his state’s health department to bar state and local health groups from “the use of the Biden Administration’s ‘targeted’ ‘door to door’ tactics.”

“A South Carolinian’s decision to get vaccinated is a personal one for them to make and not the government’s,” McMaster wrote in a letter to the department. “Enticing, coercing, intimidating, mandating, or pressuring anyone to take the vaccine is a bad policy which will deteriorate the public’s trust and confidence in the State’s vaccination efforts.”

In Missouri, meanwhile, GOP Gov. Mike Parson tweeted: “I have directed our health department to let the federal government know that sending government employees or agents door-to-door to compel vaccination would NOT be an effective OR a welcome strategy in Missouri!” Earlier in the week, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich sent a letter to Biden condemning the new strategy. For the usually reserved Biden White House, which has long harbored private frustrations about some states’ laggard vaccination programs but refused to condemn them publicly for fear of playing up political divides in public health, it was a bridge too far.

“For those individuals, organizations that are feeding misinformation and trying to mischaracterize this type of trusted-messenger work, I believe you are doing a disservice to the country and to the doctors, the faith leaders, community leaders and others who are working to get people vaccinated, save lives and help end this pandemic,” White House COVID-19 coordinator Jeff Zients said Thursday.

Months ago, the Biden White House refrained from responding when officials criticized its vaccine allocation strategy of sending more doses directly to pharmacies instead of through state health departments after the former strategy proved more effective. It largely kept quiet as it watched officials sow fears of vaccine “passports” and assiduously avoided engaging publicly with fringe lawmakers who promoted vaccine skepticism.

The new public expression of frustration comes amid lingering disbelief that tens of millions of Americans continue to refuse to get vaccinated, needlessly extending the pandemic and costing lives, as government health officials emphasize that nearly all serious cases and deaths are now preventable.

Psaki on Thursday rebutted some allegations about the door-knocking program, noting that in most cases: “They are not members of the government. They are not federal government employees. They are volunteers. They are clergy. They are trusted voices in communities who are playing this role and door knocking.”

Acknowledging the rhetoric has been “a bit frustrating to us,” she also noted that there are indications the door-knocking has helped promote shots in areas lagging behind the rest of the country. “Alabama: The adult vaccination rate increased by 3.9%; 149,000 additional adults got their first dose in June,” she said, adding that Florida saw an increase of 4.4% and Georgia of 3.5%.

“This is important work that’s leading to more vaccinations,” said Zients, “and it’s done by people who care about the health of their family, friends and neighbors.” READ MORE

Donald Trump doubles down by promoting ‘Wartime Consigliere’ Stephen Miller to Chief of Staff putting America on a wartime footing to at least 2028

At the end of WWII, Hitler’s answer to Germany’s impending defeat was to issue the ‘Nero Decree’ to burn Berlin down to the ground. Donald Trump’s answer to a Republican election disaster is to hand more power to Stephen Miller as his new Chief of Staff, that’s doubling down with a vengeance. After Americans elected a Democratic Congress, Trump elevated one of the principal architects of the aggressive immigration policies that helped drive the backlash. Roughly six in ten midterm voters said the administration’s immigration enforcement had gone too far. Trump’s response was to promote the man who helped take it there. Roger Stone calls Miller his “wartime consigliere,” and that description ought to make Americans pay very close attention to whom this White House actually intends to fight. Civil war, anyone?

Miller publicly pushed a minimum of 3,000 ICE arrests every single day, with the number supposed to keep climbing. Reuters reported that he urged officials to pursue immigration offenders broadly and suggested Home Depot and 7-Eleven locations where workers gather. Think about the machinery that creates. Washington demands numbers, officials feel pressure to deliver, and the people easiest to grab become the easiest way to satisfy the demand. Every person swept into that machinery has a name, a family and circumstances that deserve examination. An arrest tally tells Americans nothing about whether justice was served. A government can fill detention facilities while at the same time still fail the very people it claims to protect.

ProPublica documented immigration agents smashing vehicle windows with children or pregnant women inside, injuries during arrests, and force used against people without known criminal records. Miller then publicly assured ICE officers that they had federal immunity in conducting their duties—an assurance that overstated their protection against prosecution for unlawful conduct. Demand more arrests, push enforcement into everyday life, and tell the officers they are protected: that combination should alarm anyone who believes government power requires restraint. Stephen Miller’s promotion rewards the direction he helped establish, and that’s not good at all.

Now his ‘wartime consigliere’ as Chief of Staff will help run the White House as an opposition Congress prepares to investigate Trump’s misdeeds. Congress has every right to demand records, question officials and expose misconduct. An election does not become illegitimate simply because the president dislikes the consequences. Oversight does not become persecution because it reaches his friends. The American government belongs to the American people, and Donald Trump’s personal grievances carry no authority to override that ownership. Christians who voted for him owe him the truth, including the truth about failure, broken promises and abuses committed under his administration. We can demand secure borders and demand humane treatment. We can insist on enforcing the law and insist that the people enforcing it obey it. Trump has chosen escalation after defeat. He owns that choice—and every American has the right to hold him accountable for what follows. One thing’s for sure. From now to at least 2028, you can expect America to be on a wartime footing.

We voted for Donald Trump in 2024 because we wanted him to keep his promises. We understood the man’s flaws, but we were hiring a president to deliver the specific agenda he promised us: no new wars, a prosperous economy, $2.00 gasoline, secure borders, and an America respected abroad. Then came the Iran war, a massive betrayal of his promise. Then came the tariffs and the kinetic economic disruption. Americans who voted for stability watched their president making decisions that were ushering in chaos and confusion. The consequences reached the gas pump, the grocery bill, with Republican candidates struggling to explain why voters should give their party more time. Trump owned those decisions. It was his name, his authority, his policies—and now his responsibility. You cannot campaign as the man who will fix everything and then demand immunity from blowback when your own decisions fail spectacularly.

And while Americans begged for relief, Trump only wanted to talk about war, golden statues, Reflecting Pools, bunker ballrooms, and lavish cavier and drag parties at Mar-a-Logo. What an extraordinary picture of misplaced priorities: a president celebrating the grandeur of his surroundings while the people who elected him worried about the cost of living. Republican advisers were hearing that frustration directly from voters, yet the renovation spectacle continued. Americans hired a president to improve their country, we did not hand him the country as a personal renovation project. Then came the reckoning.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Prison In Louisiana needs Bibles and Bible study materials to help their male and female inmates renew their minds in the word of God

You, it’s a funny thing. In our world, we are consumed on an hourly basis with the endless bombardment of “breaking news!” that takes over our screens, our minds, defying us to think about anything else. But behind the bars of any jail, prison or detention center, time comes to an sudden and severe halt, and the only thing that reverberates through the minds of the inmates is…time. Lots and lots of time. Time to think about the wrongs they have done, time to reflect on those they’ve hurt, time to think about the length of their sentence, but also time to consider the promises of the Great God and Saviour Jesus Christ. That’s where Bibles Behind Bars comes in. We have the ‘good news’ they don’t even know they need, and we have a mandate to give it to them.
