The U.S. military is bracing for a possible attack on American personnel and interests in Iraq, U.S. defense officials said, days before the first anniversary of an American drone strike that killed an Iranian general in Baghdad, launches B-52H Stratofortress bombers over Persian Gulf.

My, oh my, but aren’t a whole bunch of random events all starting to fire at the same time? Global lockdowns, a new and more contagious strain of COVID-19 suddenly appearing as Joe Biden says he will make masks mandatory in the United States, Spain creating a ‘vaccine refusers’ blacklist and now B-52H Stratofortress bombers flying just this afternoon over the Persian Gulf as the United States evacuates all but mission critical personnel from our embassy in Iraq.

President Trump is not sure if his upcoming January 6th gambit will be successful, so it is more than likely that he is right now readying an attack on Iran and their nuclear ambitions, seeing as Joe Biden has already promised to re-enslave the United States back under the preposterous Iranian Nuclear Treaty of Obama. Whatever is actually being planned, I think it is a safe bet to say that the next three weeks will contain skyrockets, and maybe a Patriot missile or two. Stay tuned.

U.S. officials warn of potential Iran-linked attack

FROM SF GATE: The officials spoke as two B-52H Stratofortress bombers carried out a round-trip, 30-hour mission from Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota to the Middle East ending on Wednesday, in an effort to show American presence and military might in the region to deter Iran. The Air Force carried out similar missions twice before in the last 45 days.

“The United States continues to deploy combat-ready capabilities into the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility to deter any potential adversary, and make clear that we are ready and able to respond to any aggression directed at Americans or our interests,” said Gen. Frank McKenzie, chief of U.S. Central Command. “We do not seek conflict, but no one should underestimate our ability to defend our forces or to act decisively in response to any attack.”

The latest bomber deployment, disclosed after the aircraft left the Middle East, was carried out as supporters of the Iranian regime continue to mourn for Qasem Soleimani, the influential leader of Iran’s Quds Force, the elite special operations wing of the Revolutionary Guard Corps. He was killed Jan. 3 in a drone strike along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the leader of Kataib Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed militia that U.S. officials have said was responsible for numerous attacks on U.S. facilities in Iraq.

President Donald Trump approved the operation amid escalating violence in the region, eliminating a longtime nemesis, Soleimani, who had coordinated attacks against U.S. troops and interests for years, according to U.S. officials and reports. Iran, expressing outrage, responded five days later by launching a ballistic missile attack that injured more than 100 U.S. troops and damaged several facilities.

But tensions have escalated again in recent weeks, as Washington prepares for a presidential transition following President-elect Joe Biden’s victory over Trump.

On Nov. 17, rockets were launched at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. Another armed group in Iraq, Ashab al-Kahf, said it was responsible. On Nov. 27, a senior official in Iran’s nuclear program, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, was assassinated near Tehran. U.S. officials denied knowing of the attack, and Iran blamed it on Israel. But given the close relationship between Israel and the United States, U.S. officials have assumed that Iran also might hold the United States responsible.

One senior U.S. defense official said leaders of Iranian-backed militias in Iraq have met with Quds Force leaders and a “fair amount of advanced conventional weaponry” has flowed over the border from Iran into Iraq. He declined to say how the United States observed those developments, citing the classified means by which he said the intelligence was collected.

“I would tell you that the threat streams are very real,” the senior official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue. He characterized the situation as the “most concerning that I have seen” since Soleimani’s killing, and said there are worries of a complex attack.

The United States has reduced the number of staff at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and warned of consequences if any Americans are killed. Iraqi officials, meanwhile, have expressed concern about a possible confrontation between the United States and Iran on Iraqi soil in the closing days of the Trump administration.

On Dec. 20, more than 20 rockets were launched at the diplomatic compound housing the embassy. At least one Iraqi civilian living nearby was killed, and vehicles and buildings on the American site were damaged, the senior U.S. official said. READ MORE

Operation Africa! Has Delivered The Medicine And Fresh Water—Now We Must Complete The Mission By Raising $5,000 To Drill A Well For These Children

Today, the children of Glory Fellowship Orphanage received all the medicine needed to fight the typhoid and malaria outbreak—and a massive 10,000-liter water tank filled with clean, fresh water. For the first time in their lives, these children saw fresh water, tasted fresh water, and drank without wondering whether it would make them sick. What we regard as an ordinary glass of water became an answer to much prayer in their hands. Praise the LORD for His goodness, and there remains much work left to do.

“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38 (KJB)

But the tank is only the beginning. Once those 10,000 liters are gone, the need returns. Now we must undertake the biggest part of this mission: raising $5,000 to drill a permanent freshwater well at the orphanage. Medicine treats today’s sickness, and the tank answers today’s emergency—but a well can protect these children for years to come. It will provide water for drinking, cooking, washing, sanitation, and the daily needs of the entire orphanage. In this photo, we see all 81 of the orphans standing in front of the water tank we delievered to them today. They are all suffering with malaria and typhoid from drinking river water, please pray the LORD for a full and swift recovery for them.

We have already witnessed what God can accomplish through His people. The medicine has been delivered. The tank has arrived, and fresh water is flowing. Now let us finish what we started and put a well into the ground, one that will continue giving life long after this fundraiser is over. Come help us, we need you!!

An Outbreak Of Malaria And Typhoid At The Glory Fellowship Orphanage Puts The Spotlight On Their Need For A Sustainable Supply Of Clean Drinking Water

Help Us Bring Healing And Clean Water To Glory Fellowship Orphanage With Medicine, A Water Tank And Their Own Well

I knew something was wrong from the moment I got on my weekly video call with Pastor Dancan to do our Bible study. He looked a little under the weather, and I could hear the coughs of many of the orphan children in the background. When I asked him about it, he said they were right now dealing with an outbreak of malaria and typhoid due to not having a steady source and supply of clean drinking water. If you look at the photo at the top of the article, that’s where they currently get their water from, and it’s two miles away from where they live. Imagine your children drinking from that. Now come help us.

“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” Proverbs 19:17 (KJB)

The children of Glory Fellowship Orphanage are facing an urgent crisis. Typhoid and malaria have already begun taking their toll, and the immediate need is $1,200 for medicine and treatment. These children cannot wait for better circumstances or a more convenient time. They need our help now for medicine to fight infection, care to restore their strength, and the assurance that they have not been forgotten. But treating the present illness is only the beginning. A 2,600-gallon water tank will cost $800, providing the orphanage with a dependable way to store a large supply of clean water. That tank would immediately improve daily life by giving the children safer water for drinking, cooking, washing and sanitation. It would be an important first step toward reducing the conditions that allow sickness to spread.

THIS IS THE 4 MILE ROUND TRIP THAT THE CHILDREN AT THE ORPHANGE MAKE EVERY DAY TO GET DIRTY WATER FROM THE RIVER THAT’S MAKING THEM SICK – THAT’S UNACCEPTABLE

The lasting solution is to drill a permanent well. For $5,000, Glory Fellowship Orphanage could have its own reliable source of clean water instead of depending upon muddy streams, unsafe collection points or uncertain supplies. A well would do far more than meet today’s emergency—it would protect children for years to come. It would bring dignity, stability and a measure of independence to an orphanage that faithfully cares for children with very limited resources. Lord willing, that’s what we will do, and here’s what we need to do to accomplish that.

Altogether, we are seeking to raise $7,000: $1,200 for the medicine, $800 for the water tank and $5,000 to drill the well. This is our opportunity to address both the immediate crisis and the underlying need. We can help these children recover from typhoid and malaria, provide a large supply of clean stored water, and then give the orphanage a permanent well of its own. This is what Christian compassion looks like in action. It is medicine for the sick, water for the thirsty and hope for children who cannot provide these things for themselves. Pray about what the Lord would have you do, and help us accomplish all three goals for Glory Fellowship Orphanage. We need your prayers and support, please come help us!!
