The Adams administration has announced a plan to begin tracking the carbon footprint created by household food consumption as well as a new target for New York City agencies to reduce their food-based emissions by 33% by the year 2023.

We have been warning you for years and years that the phony Climate Change movement was really nothing more than a cudgel with which to beat people into submission to the New World Order. Then 2020 came, and with it the Great Reset from end times villain Klaus Schwab, where they started discussing openly what had previously been alluded to and whispered about in private. 2023 seems to be the year that Phase 2 of the Great Reset kicks into gear, and the new lockdown will come at the hands of something called the carbon footprint tracker. All of this will be tied to your Social Credit Score.

The future is not bright, it is bleak and grim. In this new dystopian world they will force us to live in, you will be told what to eat and how much of it you will be allowed to consume. Lest you think I am using hyperbolic overstatement, right now in New York City they are already rolling out these changes. School lunches are now forcing vegetarian items on school kids, and the consumption of meat is being equaled to the committing of a crime. Why do you think the board is named the ‘Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice’ for, anyway? Wake up, words have meaning. Justice involves a judge, a jury and a courtroom, they are the plaintiff and you are the defendant. No sir, you are not going to like Phase 2 even one, tiny little bit.

FROM THE GOTHAMIST: Mayor Eric Adams announced the plan on Monday along with the Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice as part of the city’s ongoing pledge to reduce the impact of climate change. At the same event, the Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice published a new chart in the city’s annual greenhouse gas inventory that publicly tracks the carbon footprint created by household food consumption — primarily generated by meat and dairy products.

The new analysis is a spin on the emissions data that comes standard with the annual inventory. It was made through a partnership with American Express, C40 Cities and EcoData lab. Adams, an ardent evangelist of plant-based diets, announced the new tracker and policy at a Brooklyn culinary center run by Health + Hospitals, the city’s public health care system.

“It is easy to talk about emissions that are coming from vehicles and how it impacts our carbon footprint,“ Adams said. “But we now have to talk about beef.”

The new household consumption tracker will be published on the same webpage as the city’s annual inventory of greenhouse gas sources. The addition lays out the greenhouse gas pollution involved in the production and consumption of goods, such as alcoholic beverages or apparel, whether or not those items are made in New York City. It also examines the emissions tied to high-polluting services like air travel and lesser known contributors like health care.

All told, 20% of the city’s greenhouse gas emissions come from food consumed by households, according to the mayor. Food ranks as the third biggest contributor of carbon emissions after buildings and transportation. Similar stats are published in the comptroller’s climate dashboard, which was released a year ago this week.

City officials said New Yorkers can help the planet by eating more fruits, vegetables, grains, and beans.

For Adams, who was once diagnosed with diabetes, the recognition that food choices affect climate change dovetails with his push for New Yorkers to eat more plant-based meals. During his tenure, the city’s public hospital system has made plant-centric foods its default offering for patients. Public schools last year added a second day of vegan offerings — although initial reviews were not great.

The announcement, which comes during the lead-up to Earth Day this weekend, said the new plan puts the city on par with London and 13 other cities to incorporate food consumption into its greenhouse gas emission metrics. The effort to examine the environmental effects of eating foods like meat and dairy was first announced about a year ago as part of a collaboration among major cities across the globe. READ MORE

When Clean Energy Charging is enabled on your iPhone and connected to a charger, Apple prevents your phone from charging if the power source is not ‘sustainable’

If you remember our article on the hidden cricket flour in the processed food you are buying, then you know that ‘sustainable’ is a code word for things that are actually bad for you. So today I want to show you something from Apple for the iPhone called Clean Energy Charging, and why it’s a terrifying harbinger of what’s to come.

In the Apple iOS 16.1 update, they released a nasty little feature called Clean Energy Charging. Clean Energy Charging tells your battery to not allow itself to be recharged if the power source you are connected to does not meet strict sustainable standards set by the Climate Change Nazis. When that happens, you iPhone will either charge super-slow, or not at all. I highly recommend you go to Settings | Battery | Battery Health & Charging until you see Clean Energy Charging, and toggle it to Off. They have gotten us addicted to the internet and to technology, now they begin the process of telling us when and how we will be allowed to use it. This is truly what the Great Reset is all about. Their agenda is ‘you will eat bugs, you will own nothing, and you will be happy’. Maybe it’s just another one of those ‘wild coincidences’ but Ford Motor Co. has filed for a patent on technology that could remotely shut down your radio or air conditioning, lock you out of your vehicle, or prompt it to ceaselessly beep if you miss car payments. Ford said it has no plans to use the technology. Now do you see where things are headed?

Apple’s Clean Energy Charging for iPhone that sets a new standard for sustainability

Despite the lack of fanfare, press release, or notable mention in update notes, this feature carries greater implications than meets the eye.

Apple unveiled Clean Energy Charging as part of the iOS 16.1 update. This new feature utilizes a carbon emissions report of the local energy grid to determine the optimal time for an iPhone to charge while connected to a charger. According to Apple, this technology can significantly reduce the carbon footprint of iPhone charging, but this feature is currently exclusive to the United States.

When Clean Energy Charging is enabled on your iPhone and connected to a charger, Apple harnesses location data from your device to identifies the carbon emissions your local power grid generates. This information is then utilized to charge your device during periods of lower carbon emissions, even if that means slower charging.

With time, your iPhone will learn your charging habits, such as your regular charging and usage patterns. Clean Energy Charging can be applied accordingly, ensuring your device is charged when needed while simultaneously reducing your carbon footprint and contributing to environmental sustainability. Geoengineering refers to the fantastically stupid idea that dimming the sun and covering the sky in chemtrails will stop Climate Change, it won’t.

There are plenty of dumb ideas offered by science in every generation that have turned out to be incredibly dangerous, and then there are dumb ideas that are so fantastically stupid it boggles the mind to think highly-educated people conceived them into existence. Welcome to something called geoengineering, here you will see unparalleled idiocy like dimming the sun, chemtrails, and other ways to ‘hack the planet’ that can only be a harbinger of diester.

You would think that people smart enough to get a degree from MIT would be pretty smart people, but actually as it turns out, not so much. A geoengineering startup says it’s begun releasing particles into the atmosphere, in an effort to tweak the climate

That’s in part because it’s highly controversial. Little is known about the real-world effect of such deliberate interventions at large scales, but they could have dangerous side effects. The impacts could also be worse in some regions than others, which could provoke geopolitical conflicts.

Some researchers who have long studied the technology are deeply troubled that the company, Make Sunsets, appears to have moved forward with launches from a site in Mexico without any public engagement or scientific scrutiny. It’s already attempting to sell “cooling credits” for future balloon flights that could carry larger payloads.

Several researchers MIT Technology Review spoke with condemned the effort to commercialize geoengineering at this early stage. Some potential investors and customers who have reviewed the company’s proposals say that it’s not a serious scientific effort or a credible business but more of an attention grab designed to stir up controversy in the field.

Luke Iseman, the cofounder and CEO of Make Sunsets, acknowledges that the effort is part entrepreneurial and part provocation, an act of geoengineering activism.

He hopes that by moving ahead in the controversial space, the startup will help drive the public debate and push forward a scientific field that has faced great difficulty carrying out small-scale field experiments amid criticism.

“We joke slash not joke that this is partly a company and partly a cult,” he says.

Iseman, previously a director of hardware at Y Combinator, says he expects to be pilloried by both geoengineering critics and researchers in the field for taking such a step, and he recognizes that “making me look like the Bond villain is going to be helpful to certain groups.” But he says climate change is such a grave threat, and the world has moved so slowly to address the underlying problem, that more radical interventions are now required.
