Biblical Archaeologists In Israel Make Stunning Discovery Of 5,000 Year-Old City Of Ein Esur, Largest Ancient Settlement Ever Found in Region
Uncovered in northern Israel, Ein Esur, largest settlement ever excavated here, set to ‘change forever what we know about emergence of urbanization here’.

A massive 5,000-year-old metropolis Ein Esur that housed some 6,000 residents has been uncovered alongside Israel’s newest city, Harish, during new roadworks.
The world of biblical archaeology in the Middle East is buzzing right now with the news of the discovery of the largest ancient settlement ever found in the region of Israel and trans-Jordan, a city called Ein Esur that was so massive in its day that archaeologists are calling it ‘Israel’s NYC’, and only partially tongue in cheek. This scope of this find is so large they really aren’t even sure exactly what they’ve found. Ein Esur dates back to the time of the very first pharaoh in Egypt, that’s how old this city is. Amazing.
“Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.” 2 Kings 19:25 (KJV)
The article below goes on to say that they have also discovered settlements that are ‘7,000 years old’, which would be a pretty good trick considering the Bible only records a history of humans dating back around 6,000 years. Needless to say, we will be watching the developments of Ein Esur very closely and will report to you as soon as new information becomes available. But I will make one prediction right now. When they dig a little deeper, they will find artifacts that will establish a direct connection with matching accounts contained in the Holy Bible. That’s a virtual guarantee.
‘Israel’s ancient NYC’: 5,000-year-old Canaanite megalopolis Ein Esur may rewrite history
FROM TIMES OF ISRAEL: The 160-acre (over 650 dunam) city is the largest Early Bronze Age settlement excavated in Israel, the Israel Antiquities Authority announced on Sunday. “It is much larger than any known site in the land of Israel — and outside the land of Israel — in the region of Jordan, Lebanon, southern Syria,” said excavation co-director Dr. Yitzhak Paz in an IAA video.

In addition, just ahead of the construction of a new interchange over the Ein Esur (Ein Asawir) archaeological site, IAA archaeologists also discovered an earlier, 7,000-year-old Chalcolithic settlement under several of the 5,000-year-old structures.
“This is a huge city – a megalopolis in relation to the Early Bronze Age, where thousands of inhabitants, who made their living from agriculture, lived and traded with different regions and even with different cultures and kingdoms in the area… This is the Early Bronze Age New York of our region; a cosmopolitan and planned city,” said excavation directors Itai Elad, Paz and Dr. Dina Shalem in an IAA statement.
“The study of this site will change forever what we know about the emergence and rise of urbanization in the land of Israel and in the whole region,” said Paz. “And it means that what we know now will change what is written today in the traditional books when people read about the archaeology of Israel.”
Salvage excavations have been taking place at the site for the past two and a half years, financed by Netivei Israel – the National Transport Infrastructure Company Ltd. Over 5,000 high school students and volunteers from the area have participated in them.

Due to the importance of the site, Netivei Israel has significantly increased the height of the planned interchange and will preserve the excavations through high-tech documentation and physical conservation.
The digs have revealed an Early Bronze Age (end of the 4th millennium BCE) planned city located near Wadi Ara, near two water springs, in the Haifa district of northern Israel. According to Paz, the land is fertile for agriculture and is close to important, central trade routes.
The Ein Esur ancient settlement contained public and private buildings and areas, streets and alleys and was surrounded by a fortification wall.
“The excavation at this site revealed two main settlements,” explained Shalem in an IAA video. “The earliest one is about 7,000 years old. It’s a very large agricultural settlement. Two thousand years later, another settlement became one of the first cities known in this area of the world.”
The layout of the city, said Elad, the third co-director, indicates it was very thoughtfully planned. During the excavation, the team discovered a very large public building that was unlike any of the others. It was, said Elad, most probably a temple or a shrine, inside which was found an area containing burnt animal bones, presumably for sacrifices. In the temple courtyard is large stone basin for liquids, which the archaeologists assume was also used during religious rituals.
“These findings allow us to look beyond the material into the spiritual life of the large community that lived at the site,” said the archaeologists.
For the 5,000 Israeli pupils and young adults — Jews and Arabs — who participated in the excavations, their firsthand knowledge and experiences may also change their perspective and their connection to the land of Israel. As history books are rewritten, the students were on the frontlines of early research.
“The study of this site will change forever what we know about the emergence [and] rise of urbanization in the land of Israel and in the whole region,” said Paz. “And it means that what we know now will change what is written today in the traditional books when people read about the archaeology of Israel.” READ MORE
5,000-Year Old City Ein Esur, Largest in Ancient Israel
Widespread excavations at the Ein Esur (Ein Asawir) archaeological site, located near Wadi Ara, a major artery that stretches from Hadera to Afula in the northern Sharon valley, reveal a planned city from the Bronze Age (end of the 4th millennium BCE), surrounded by a fortification wall, with residential and public squares, streets and alleys.

Biblical Archaeology Researchers Say Recent Discovery Of Lost Underwater City In Lake Van In Turkey Challenges Timeline For Noah’s Ark Account

Researchers say an ancient underwater city beneath Lake Van in Turkey could potentially reveal secrets that challenge the origins of Noah’s Ark
A number of years ago, we published an article against the day that researchers would discover the ‘bones of Jesus’ and what your response as a Bible believer should be. The article you are reading right now is a confirmation that that day is indeed coming. Biblical archaeologists have found the remains of an underwater city in Lake Van in Turkey, not too far from Mt. Ararat where Noah’s Ark is believed to have landed. Those researchers are very excited to get you to doubt the biblical account of what happened back in Genesis 6, and you need to make sure you don’t fall for it.
“And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.” Genesis 6:13,17 (KJB)
One thing I have learned about the King James Bible over the last 34+ years of reading it, is that it is never wrong, not even once. Beginning all the way back to the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 launched by Roman Catholics to stop the King James Bible, all the way up to the present day, the KJV 1611 has withstood and beaten back all comers, up to and including every one of the 450 ‘modern versions’ created to supplant it. The King James Bible is always right and will always be many steps ahead of you. So when it talks about the timeline of Noah’s Ark, you can rest assured it’s right, no matter what 21st century researchers want you to believe. All that said, there’s some good stuff below about the underwater city of Lake Van that lies of the shadow of Mt. Ararat. Eat the meat, spit out the bones.
Vast underwater city discovered near ‘resting place of Noah’s Ark’ rewrites Bible story known to millions
FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: The sprawling ruins lie 85 feet below the surface near the town of Gevaş, just 150 miles from Mount Ararat, the mountain traditionally believed to be the final resting place of the biblical boat. Geological evidence suggests that the ruins were submerged 12,000 to 14,500 years ago, when a Mount Nemrut eruption blocked the Mirat River, and caused massive flooding during the Younger Dryas, a period of extreme climate upheaval.
While mainstream scholars dismiss the theory, many independent researchers believe this disaster wiped out an advanced civilization, one so ancient that it may have inspired the earliest versions of the Great Flood story.
‘As far as I’m aware, any civilizations in the last 6,000 years did not have the technological means to create the type of stonework we’re seeing here,’ said independent researcher Matt LaCroix, who spoke about the discovery on the Matt Beall Limitless podcast.
LaCroix and an international dive team are preparing to explore the site in September using advanced imaging tools to map the ruins, which he believes could help rewrite humanity’s timeline. The underwater complex spans more than half a mile, featuring a stone fortress flanked by circular temples with precisely carved masonry. There is also a capstone engraved with a six-spoked ‘Flower of Life’ symbol, an ancient motif also found at sacred sites in Peru and Bolivia. Discovered in 1997 by Turkish underwater filmmaker Tossen Salin while studying Lake Van’s unusual micro-invertebrates, the ruins have remained largely unknown to the public.
While archaeologists confirm the structures exist, many attribute them to the Urartian period around 3,000 years ago, or even to the medieval era. But they have admitted that the site has yet to be fully studied or definitively dated. LaCroix, however, said in a July episode of the podcast that geological data told a different story. He explained how soil sampling and analysis of Mount Nemrut show clear evidence of a massive eruption around 12,000 years ago. As a result, Lake Van’s water level rose dramatically, over 100 feet, according to some estimates.
Because stone cannot be carbon-dated, researchers hope to find organic material, such as sediment layers or artifacts, which could confirm the age of the ruins. But collecting such evidence underwater poses major challenges. The site’s sophisticated stonework, with tightly interlocking blocks, angular joints, and no visible binding agents, appears to rival the engineering seen in megalithic sites like Sacsayhuamán in Peru.
Scholars have long acknowledged that the biblical flood story likely evolved from earlier Mesopotamian texts. Ancient cuneiform tablets from Sumerian, Akkadian, and Babylonian cultures, such as the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Atrahasis, and the Eridu Genesis, describe a massive flood sent to destroy early civilization, and a chosen man who builds a vessel to save life on Earth. In these tales, the survivor is called Ziusudra or Utnapishtim, names predating Noah by thousands of years. READ MORE

A Hymn Dedicated To Ancient Babylon And Sung To The God Marduk Has Been Discovered After 2,100 Years Using AI In Stunning Revelation 17 Harbinger

A hymn dedicated to the ancient city of Babylon and sung to the god Marduk has been discovered after 2,100 years with the help of AI
The Bible doesn’t mention a Babylonian god named ‘Marduk’, but it does talk a lot about the gods of Babylon especially in the book of Daniel. But we know from this song ‘Hymn of Babylon’ that the god Marduk is referred to as the ‘architect of the universe’, so that would make him the main god. In Jeremiah 50:2 we read about the fall of the gods of Babylon, Bel and Merodach. In all likelihood, Merodach is Marduk, and the Strong’s reference H4781 says that Merodach is Marduk in ancient Assyrian.
“Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.” Jeremiah 50:2 (KJB)
“And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” Revelation 18:2 (KJB)
Christian, we are living at the very tail end of the Church Age, and we will soon be removed in the Rapture. After we leave, the time of Jacob’s trouble will commence and Babylon as described in Revelation 17 and 18 will take center stage. News reports like this only strengthens my faith in the unfolding end times happening all around us. Babylon will rise, as we see in Revelation 17 and 18, and a hymn dedicated to its most-powerful god, lost for 2,100 years, and now brought back to us through AI is some crazy stuff. Think God is trying to show us something? I do.
Hymn of Babylon is pieced together after 2,100 YEARS: Scientists use AI to reconstruct ancient song
FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: Sung to the god Marduk, patron deity of the great city, the poem describes Babylon’s flowing rivers, jeweled gates, and ‘bathed priests’ in stunning detail. Although the song was lost to time after Alexander the Great captured the city, fragments of clay tablets survived in the ruins of Sippar, a city 40 miles to the North.
In a process that would have taken ‘decades’ to complete by hand, researchers used AI to piece together 30 different tablet pieces and recover the lost hymn. Originally 250 lines long, scientists have been able to translate a third of the original cuneiform text. These lines reveal a uniquely rich and detailed description of aspects of Babylonian life that had never been recorded before.
Lead researcher Professor Enrique Jiménez, of Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU), told MailOnline that the hymn’s literary quality is ‘exceptional’.
‘It’s meticulously structured, with each section flowing seamlessly into the next,’ he said.
The hymn begins with grand praise to the god Marduk, calling him the ‘architect of the universe’. The poem’s author then turns to the city of Babylon, describing it as a rich paradise of abundance.
The hymn writes: ‘Like the sea, Babylon proffers her yield, like a garden of fruit, she flourishes in her charms, like a wave, her swell brings her bounties rolling in.’ There are also descriptions of the river Euphrates, which still runs through modern-day Iraq, and its floodplains upon which ‘herds and flocks lie on verdant pastures’. Biblical Archaeologists Making Stunning Discovery Under The Treasury Building At Selah Petra In Harbinger Of The Coming Time Of Jacob’s Trouble

Archeologists found an untouched tomb containing 12 human skeletons and various treasures under the Treasury room at Selah Petra in Jordan
If you believe your King James Bible, then you know that this planet we live on, and even the universe in which it sits, is very much alive and active. Some great examples of this are stones that can talk, trees that can clap their hands, the sun and the stars turning out their own lights, and the list goes on and on. A stunning new discovery at Selah Petra, the place where God will keep the remnant of Israel safe from Antichrist for three and a half years, has recently started to ‘wake up’ and begin to reveal its secrets. Why now? Great question.
“Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:” Matthew 24:16 (KJB)
“And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.” Revelation 12:6 (KJB)
The Church Age is now nearly at an end, and it will formally conclude in an event we call the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. From there there time of Jacob’s trouble begins, a 7-year time period that includes the 3.5 year great Tribulation. God will supernaturally preserve a remnant of the Jews, Isaiah 1:9, safe inside the red rock walls of Selah Petra, a place that Daniel 11:41 says Antichrist will not be able to enter. The Church is about to fly, and the Jews and the nation of Israel are about to be ‘the next man up’ on the end times roster. So it makes perfect sense that the ground at Selah Petra is starting to reveal its secrets and it gets itself ready for what’s coming next.
Archeologists find 12 hidden tombs with intact skeletons beneath the Treasury building at Selah Petra in Jordan
FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: Known locally in Jordan as Al Khazneh, the discovery of an untouched tomb under Petra’s famous Treasury room – which was featured in Spielberg’s 1989 movie “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” as the location of the Holy Grail – comes after over 20 years of finding numerous hidden tombs throughout the Treasury.
Dr. Richard Bates, a geophysicist from the University of St. Andrews, led the recent excavation after receiving permission to use advanced ground-penetrating radar at the site. “We were quite shocked that they did give us permission to go in and survey,” the NYT cited Bates.
Bates emphasized that “this was stunning data,” as the radar showed clear signs of voids and structures beneath the Treasury, prompting a joint excavation effort between Jordanian and American teams.
The newly found tombs are believed to be older than the Treasury itself and feature walls that haven’t been seen in the region before. “People think they know Petra. They recognize the Treasury,” said Dr. Pearce Paul Creasman, an archaeologist involved in the dig. “But all these people walk by, and there’s so much more under our feet.”
The skeletal remains found under the Treasury room date from 400 B.C. to A.D. 106 and offer some clues about the Nabatean civilization, which made Petra its capital around the fourth century B.C., according to the NYT. The intact dozen skeletons were within a hidden tomb and were discovered within a chamber divided by a set of walls, something that had not been seen before in the ancient city of Al Khazneh.
