I do not remember the day that JFK was assassinated by the mafia at the orders of Lyndon Baines Johnson, while George HW Bush working for the CIA stood by to make sure things went smoothly. But I do have faint memories of the day that Robert Kennedy was shot and killed, and also the day that Martin Luther King Jr. was killed also. For me, the Kennedy brothers and King belong in the same class of history because they were so very similar on many levels.
America made an idol out of Jack Kennedy and his family, and as a president he tried to do some good things, no question about it. But as a human being, as a person, JFK led a sordid, sexual life that until recently would have been too shocking and disgusting to believed had it been revealed. His father helped to get him elected using ties to the Mafia, the same Mafia that just a few years later would be instrumental in his death. The Kennedy family was as crooked as a dog’s hind leg, but all we were allowed to see was the carefully created and completely false image that the news media demanded that we see. The creation of ‘Camelot’ was nothing more than a fabrication designed to keep the Kennedys in power. What was the cost of all these lies and deceptions? The Kennedy family, for all their sown seeds of wealth, power and influence have reaped nothing but death, despair and destruction.
What does this have to do with Martin Luther King Jr.? Plenty.
Martin Luther King Jr. did lots of good when it came to combating racial injustices and prejudices, and it was well-needed to advance ourselves as a decent and compassionate society. King was an excellent orator, and could hold crowds of tens of thousands spellbound as he spoke words of love, compassion and forgiveness. But Martin Luther King Jr. the man, the human being, was like JFK a squalid mess of such mind-numbing contradictions and actions that when looked at in the cold light of day, is repulsive on many levels. Again, just like it is with Kennedy.
MLK was, depending on who you talk to, a Socialist at the least and a Communist at the worst, things he for good reason tried to keep hidden from the general public. But worse than that, and worse than all the sordid, sexual dealings alleged by the FBI memos and secret tapes, MLK had some very unbiblical ideas about Jesus Christ, the blood atonement and the virgin birth.
King held unorthodox views on theology, which he expressed during his time at Crozer Theological Seminary. In a paper he wrote for a systematic theology class he cast skeptical aspersions on the doctrines of divine Sonship, the Virgin Birth (”. . . the evidence for the tenability of this doctrine is too shallow to convince any objective thinker”), and the Resurrection (”. . . the external evidence for the authenticity of this doctrine is found wanting”). In the conclusion of another paper he writes,
“Others doctrines such as a supernatural plan of salvation, the Trinity, the substitutionary theory of the atonement, and the second coming of Christ are all quite prominent in fundamentalist thinking. Such are the views of the fundamentalist and they reveal that he is opposed to theological adaptation to social and cultural change. He sees a progressive scientific age as a retrogressive spiritual age. Amid change all around he is willing to preserve certain ancient ideas even though they are contrary to science.” source
In conclusion, we live in a day and age where radical Leftist groups like ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter seek to ‘correct the record’ about the Confederacy, offensive racist statues and everything else they want to expose and bring to light. OK, so as long as we’re doing all that, let’s also bring to light the truth about JFK and MLK. Both men led scorchingly scandalous and unrepentant double lives that are also part of their legacy. Yes, let’s remove the statues that glorify a racist past, and let’s also remove the statues of the idols that we created in Kennedy and King. If you do one, you have to do all three if you want to be fair about it.
Why is the fake news media silent on this matter? I thought that we should ‘believe all victims‘, stand for the oppressed, and give a voice to the people without a voice? Why isn’t the fake news media right now investigating these allegations, and seeing if there is truth that Martin Luther King Jr. had affairs with 40 women and watched a pastor rape a member of his own congregation? Talk about selective outrage. I think they are silent because the allegations about King, like with Kennedy, are all true.
If you want to tear down statues dedicated to men who did terrible things, let’s take them all down, starting with John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. Anything less is simply a prejudiced, biased and nonsensical waste of our time.
FBI tapes reveal Martin Luther King’s affairs ‘with 40 women’
FROM THE TIMES UK: According to London’s The Times, an article written by the King biographer David Garrow and set to be published in the June edition of the UK magazine Standpoint details newly released FBI memos that discuss the tapes.
The tapes — sealed until 2027 in the US National Archives — hold recordings from bugs placed in hotel rooms King used in the 1960s, when they suspected his aide Stanley Levison was a Communist. Business Insider has contacted The King Center for comment on the report but has not yet received a response.
The tapes were made as part of an FBI surveillance project that began in 1955 and continued until King was assassinated in 1968, according to Stanford’s Martin Luther King Jr. Research and Education Institute. The FBI was trying to gather negative information about King in hopes of using it to discredit him. Former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover was personally motivated to bring down King, according to the institute.
Given that context — and given Garrow’s lack of access to the tapes themselves, in addition to the fact that the Standpoint article has not yet been published — Garrow’s claims raise questions about the accuracy of the evidence and the motives of the FBI agents who created the documents. In a separate article describing the magazine’s rationale for publishing the story, Standpoint’s acting editor, Michael Mosbacher, said Garrow’s work was previously rejected by The Guardian, The Atlantic, and The Washington Post. A number of unnamed conservative magazines in the US also shied away. Mosbacher does not explain why they rejected it, although he implies they felt it was too controversial.
However, Garrow’s 1986 biography of King won the Pulitzer Prize, so his new material will be difficult to ignore. Garrow wrote that the FBI bugged two lamps in King’s room at the Willard Hotel in Washington in January 1964, The Times said.
According to The Times, a memo accompanying the tape alleges King “looked on and laughed” as a pastor of Baltimore’s Cornerstone Baptist Church raped a woman in the hotel room. The pastor died in 1991.
The FBI documents say King had a conversation in which he “discussed which women among the parishioners would be suitable for natural and unnatural sex acts,” The Times wrote, citing Garrow’s article.
“When one of the women protested that she did not approve, the Baptist minister immediately and forcibly raped her,” The Times wrote, quoting the FBI documents. Garrow wrote that the FBI agents did not intervene during the alleged rape.
According to Garrow’s article, which quotes the documents: “At the same hotel the following evening, King and a dozen other individuals ‘participated in a sex orgy.'”
“When one of the women shied away from engaging in an unnatural act, King and several of the men discussed how she was to be taught and initiated in this respect. King told her that to perform such an act would ‘help your soul,'” The Times quoted the memo as saying.
King, whose wife was Coretta Scott King, has been accused of infidelity in previous documents but never on the scale alleged by Garrow. He “always thought there were 10-12 other women,” he told The Times. “Not 40-45.” Garrow said the new information “poses so fundamental a challenge to his historical stature as to require the most complete and extensive historical review possible.”
Garrow’s article will contain several other allegations about King’s conduct, The Times wrote. Garrow wrote that William Sullivan, then the assistant director of the FBI, in 1964 wrote a memo that paraphrased a recording of King.
One other FBI memo is said to describe a prostitute recounting a sexual encounter she said had with King and another woman in the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas in April 1964. READ MORE

Pope Leo Warns US President Donald Trump To Not Attack Or Invade Venezuela As Roman Pontiff Makes Move To Keep Socialist Maduro In Power
Pope Leo urged U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration on Tuesday not to try to oust Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro using military force.
Recent public remarks by Pope Leo XIV reveal his ‘strong concern’ about moves by the United States to use force against Venezuela. On his return flight from Lebanon, he said that the U.S. should not attempt a military ouster of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro — instead urging diplomacy or economic pressure. The Roman Catholic Church has a long history of supporting Socialist and Communist countries where Catholicism is the dominant religion.

Daring Washington to make its next move, desperate dictator Maduro has rejected Donald Trump‘s ultimatum to step down and flee the country. It comes as the US president held crisis talks with his top generals and is preparing for a classified US Navy briefing on Thursday. At a rally in the capital, the tyrant cast himself as a besieged patriot, telling supporters Venezuela was ready “to defend the country and lead it to the path of peace” as the US weighs land strikes. He said: “We have lived through 22 weeks of aggression that can only be described as psychological terrorism.”

FROM REUTERS: Leo, the first U.S. pope, said it would be better to attempt dialogue or impose economic pressure on Venezuela if Washington wants to pursue change there. The Trump administration has been weighing options to combat what it has portrayed as Maduro’s role in supplying illegal drugs that have killed Americans. The socialist Venezuelan president has denied having any links to the illegal drug trade.
Asked during a news conference about Trump’s threats to remove Maduro by force, Leo said: “It is better to search for ways of dialogue, or perhaps pressure, including economic pressure”.
The pope, speaking as he flew home from a visit to Turkey and Lebanon, his first overseas trip, added that Washington should search for other ways to achieve change “if that is what they want to do in the United States”.
Reuters reported last month that options under U.S. consideration include an attempt to overthrow the Venezuelan leader, and that the U.S. military is poised for a new phase of operations after a massive military buildup in the Caribbean and nearly three months of strikes on suspected drug trafficking boats off Venezuela’s coast. Leo, answering a journalist’s question, also said the signals coming from the Trump administration about its policy toward Venezuela were unclear.
“On one hand, it seems there was a call between the two presidents,” said the pope, referring to a phone call that Trump had with Maduro last month. “On the other hand, there is the danger, there is the possibility there will be some activity, some (military) operation.”
“The voices that come from the United States, they change with a certain frequency,” added Leo. The pope, elected in May and originally from Chicago, is familiar with Latin America because he spent long years as a cleric in Peru. READ MORE

Trump Instructs Department Of War To Prepare For Invasion Of Venezuela As 11 US Warships and 15,000 Troops Have Now Been Deployed To Oil Rich Region
More than 11 US warships, including the country’s largest carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, are bearing down on the Caribbean amid escalating tensions between President Trump and Venezuela.
More than Saudi Arabia, more than Iran, and more than every other nation, Venezuela sits upon the largest known oil reserves that exist anywhere on this Earth. Venezuela has 303 billion barrels of proven crude, but under Maduro’s socialist collapse, those reserves are basically locked away. A military intervention would place that oil under a new “friendly” government — or under direct U.S. strategic influence. Washington has wanted this for decades. Every administration knew it. Trump is going to be the one to take it. Oil is energy, and energy is power. That’s the memo.

11 US warships and 15,000 troops now in Caribbean as Venezuela tensions escalate
FROM THE NEW YORK POST: A Marine Expeditionary Unit capable of an amphibious land invasion has also been deployed as part of efforts to stem the flow of drugs into the US from the socialist country.
“The military’s job is to defend the homeland,” Secretary of the Navy John Phelan told Fox News on Saturday night. “That’s exactly what we’re doing, and we’re using our best assets to defend the homeland. Drugs kill more Americans than we’ve ever lost in wars,” he said. “So I think at the end of the day, the president has correctly identified this as an attack on the country, which it is.” Venezuela’s socialist president, Nicolas Maduro, is being blamed for allowing narco vessels to set off from his country for US.

Among the 11 warships currently in the Caribbean is the USS Ford, which houses the Carrier Strike Group featuring nine carrier air wings, or more than 70 aircraft, including squadrons out of Virginia, Florida and Washington state. Other ships deployed to the region include the USS Iwo Jamia, a Wasp-class amphibious assault vehicle capable of carrying up to six Harrier II attack aircraft.
The USS Gravely and the USS Stockdale, two naval guided-missile destroyers, are currently operating in the Caribbean along with the larger guided-missile cruisers, the USS Lake Erie and the USS Gettysburg.
Up to 2,200 Marines, based out of Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Base New River in North Carolina, are also stationed in the Caribbean. In total, around 15,000 troops, including the Marines on ships and about 5,000 personnel at bases in Puerto Rico, are now in the region, the Conversation reported. Roosevelt Roads naval base in Puerto Rico has been reopened as part of the buildup.
The growing firepower is part of Trump’s Operation Southern Spear, which aims, with support of the Coast Guard and Department of Homeland Security, to control the flow of deadly narcotics heading north to the US. It coincides with efforts to modernize US armed forces using AI, unmanned systems and hypersonic missiles, as well as a push from Trump to bring shipbuilding jobs back to America. READ MORE
