Some Things To Consider As We Watch The Dispensation Known As The Church Age Coming To A Close
I do not know when the Church Age will officially end, but I certainly know how it will end. The dispensation that we call the Church Age will formally in an event called the Pretribulation Rapture.

God in His word places tremendous importance and significance on the number 70, and regathered Israel will be 70 years old on May 14th, 2018
I do not know when the Church Age will officially end, but I certainly know how it will end. The dispensation that we call the Church Age will formally in an event called the Pretribulation Rapture. What that happens, it will usher in the most chaotic time that will ever be known in all of human history, the time of Jacob’s trouble.
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51,52 (KJV)
But the early Acts church knew nothing of a Pretribulation Rapture, because they were not looking for Heaven they were waiting for a kingdom as we see here:
“When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.” Acts 1:6,7 (KJV)
The dispensation the early Jewish believers were in was called the Kingdom Age, and it included both the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of Heaven is summed up as the Jews in an eternal Israel with their Messiah King ruling over them.
“But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.” Isaiah 11:4 (KJV)
The Kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom, one that you enter when you become born again. Originally, both kingdoms were offered to the Jews, but when they rejected the preaching of the Holy Ghost through Stephen, God split the kingdoms, gave the Kingdom of Heaven to the Jews, and the Kingdom of God to the what would become the New Testament church with the commissioning of Paul. Then He put the Kingdom of Heaven on a “pause” that has so far lasted just about 2,000 years.
The Kingdom Age, of which Peter was the designated apostle, was put on hold in Acts 7 when the Jews stoned Stephen after rejecting his preaching. The dispensation that came next is what we call the Church Age, and it will end in the Rapture of Church Age believers. When that happens, the Kingdom Age which was put on hold will be reactivated. Peter’s gospel of faith plus works (Acts 2:38) will come back to the forefront. Hebrews and James will have their doctrinal fulfillment during the time of Jacob’s trouble, and the believers of that time period will not be eternally secure. These are the people that Jesus said must “endure to the end” of the Tribulation in order to be saved.

For those of you who are regular readers of NTEB, you know that we have been calling for the month of May to be a time of tremendous potential fulfillment of Bible prophecy, for reasons already stated here and here. Is it possible that May will come and go without much prophetical fanfare? Yes, it is possible….but not likely. Because God in His word places tremendous importance and significance on the number 70, and regathered Israel will be 70 years old on May 14th, 2018.
“For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.” Jeremiah 29:10 (KJV)
Furthermore, the Song of Solomon tells us that the Rapture of the Church, in whatever year it finally takes place, will be in the springtime.
“The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;” Song Of Solomon 2:8-12 (KJV)
And according to Solomon, what is the very next thing on God’s prophecy radar after the Rapture of the Church? Why it’s Israel, of course.
“The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.” Song of Solomon 2:13 (KJV)
As we approach May 2018, it is quite possible perhaps for than any other time since 1948, that we could witness the end of the Church Age. Stay in the fight, keep witnessing and handing out tracts, and never ever stop telling people about salvation in Jesus Christ.
Because one of these old days, time will be up and we shall finally board Flight #777 on Titus213 Airlines and meet our Lord face to face in the clouds.
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (KJV)
