There is a famine coming upon our land, not of bread, not of water, but of the hearing of the words of the LORD, lights out

My soul thrills whenever I think about the coming Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, and what a glorious moment that shall be. But when I think about what life will be like for those left behind, it becomes heartbreaking to contemplate. Imagine people’s very souls drying up because there won’t be any nourishment from the Bible to feed them, and worse, there won’t even be the chance that they will somehow “figure it out”. Either get saved or get ready for the coming famine.

“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.” Amos 8:11-13 (KJB)

God in His mercy sends the 144,000 Witnesses to teach and preach the Bible one last time, and to open people’s eyes to the truth one last time. But oh, at what a price does it finally come. You have to successfully resist taking the Mark, resist worshipping the image or name of the Antichrist, and if you are found with a Bible you are put to death immediately. Whew! SUNDAY SERVICE STUDY NOTES: The Coming Famine

The Coming Famine 

The Bible doctrine of the Pretribulation Rapture is so entrenched in Scripture that it’s not only in the New Testament, it’s also in the Old Testament as well. Enoch, living before both the Flood of Noah and before the Law of Moses is a type of a Christian who never sees death and is translated directly to Heaven in his own private rapture. In Song of Solomon 2:8-10 (KJV), we read the glorious story of the Bride, a type of the Church, being called “up and away” by her Beloved, who is “looking down” through the lattice work from up above.

“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.” Amos 8:11-13 (KJB)

But one minute after this amazing event takes place, a worldwide famine will instantly transpire. It won’t be a famine of food, it will be a famine of not being able to have the word of God.

Amos is one of my favorite OT prophets, God gives him an amazing set of revelations and visions. Historically, Amos was a peer with Hosea, and he came after Joel. He prophesied judgment on Israel at the hands of the Assyrian army, which absolutely came to pass. But if all Amos has to say was simply an accounting of God judging Israel, it would have limited application for us today. But the prophecy of Amos, like most prophecy, has a double application. It applied to the Israel then, and it will apply to Israel in the time of Jacob’s trouble, after the Rapture of the Church.

One minute after the Rapture of the Church takes place, the entire Body of Christ is removed from off the Earth and taken to meet Jesus in the clouds, as we see here:

“For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 (KJB)

Comforting words indeed, for us, but what about for those left behind?

After the Church is removed, the Bible becomes a closed Book. I say this because even though the world will still be filled with Bibles, physically, there will not remain even one person anywhere on the globe who can understand it. No one. The unsaved or “natural man” is not capable of understanding God’s word because they don’t have the Holy Spirit in them.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJB)

The God-approved method of unsaved sinners getting saved and learning the Bible has always been through the ministry of already saved Christians who know the Bible. We see this illustrated beautifully in Acts 8 with the salvation of the Ethiopian eunuch.

“And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:…Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.” Acts 8:30-32,35 (KJB)

The eunuch has Phillip sent to him by God for Bible study, but one minute after the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, all the ‘Phillips’ will be gone. Movies like Left Behind and others like to show people who, after realizing thier loved ones were taken in the Rapture, picking up theirs Bibles to read them and get saved. But how can they do that if there are no more saved Christians in the world to teach them the Bible? Not only that, Paul says that people who reject the gospel of the grace of God in the days before the Rapture of the Church get tagged with the “strong delusion” so they believe the lie of Antichrist instead of the truth. Don’t believe me? Read it:

“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 (KJB)

See that? The people left behind are boxed in on all sides. They can’t understand the Bible, there are no Christians to witness to them, and God sends them a strong delusion to guarantee they will fall for a lie.

This is the famine for hearing the word of God that Amos saw, and it is truly terrifying.

What Christians Are Commanded To Do In The Last Days

The Bible tells born again believers very clearly and very plainly how we are to live in the last days leading up to the Rapture of the Church. Paul and John tell us in no uncertain terms how it’s going to be, and how we are to be while living in it.

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:” 1 Timothy 6:12-14 (KJB)

“Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” 1 Peter 1:5-7 (KJB)

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2 (KJB)

“And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 3:5 (KJB)

“And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thessalonians 1:10 (KJB)

“And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” Romans 8:23 (KJB)

“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” Philippians 3:20,21 (KJB)

“So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:7-9 (KJB)

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.” Titus 2:11-15 (KJB)

Jesus Christ Did Not Begin In Bethlehem: New Billboards Deny His Pre-Existence, His Deity And The Unmistakable Testimony Of Scripture

A new billboard campaign has appeared declaring, “JESUS IS NOT GOD,” followed by the equally blasphemous claim that Jesus Christ did not pre-exist in Heaven. That is not merely bad theology, it is a direct attack on the identity of the Lord Jesus Christ. The billboard says “Scripture says,” but Scripture says the exact opposite. The King James Bible declares, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Jesus did not begin in Bethlehem. Bethlehem was the place where the eternal Word was made flesh and stepped into the world He created. Jesus Christ is God the Father in a human body, take it or leave it, like it or lump it.

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” 1 Timothy 3:16 (KJB)

Jesus Christ Himself said, “I came down from heaven.” He prayed concerning the glory He possessed with the Father “before the world was.” He declared, “Before Abraham was, I am.” Paul tells us that all things in Heaven and Earth were created by Him and for Him, and that He is before all things. A man who began his existence in Mary’s womb could not have created the universe, shared glory with the Father before creation, walked with Israel in the wilderness or come down from Heaven. The billboard cannot be reconciled with the words of Christ because its message is built upon denying them.

This is how religious deception operates. It keeps the name Jesus, quotes selected verses, speaks reverently about God and then quietly replaces the biblical Christ with a counterfeit. A Jesus who is not God, did not pre-exist, did not create all things and did not come down from Heaven is the “another Jesus” that Paul warns us about. He may wear the name, but he is not the eternal Word of John chapter one, the great I AM of John chapter eight, the Creator of Colossians chapter one or God manifest in the flesh of First Timothy chapter three. Satan has always desired a Jesus without deity, a cross without saving blood and a gospel without the power to save.

“For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.” John 6:38 (KJB)

“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” John 17:5 (KJB)

The truth remains unshaken: Mary did not create Jesus Christ; she gave birth to the human body prepared for Him. The One lying in the manger was the One who made the stars shining above it. The infant wrapped in swaddling clothes was the eternal Creator entering His own creation. The Man nailed to the cross was the Lord of glory shedding His precious blood for sinners. The One who rose from the dead was not merely a prophet vindicated by God—He was God manifest in the flesh, victorious over death, Hell and the grave.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:1-4 (KJB)

So let the billboards shout their lies from the roadside. The King James Bible answers with thunder: “The Word was God.” Jesus Christ existed before Abraham, before Mary, before Adam, before the angels and before the foundation of the world. He is the eternal Son of God, the Creator of all things, the great I AM, the crucified and risen Saviour, and the coming King. The billboard says Jesus is not God. Thomas looked upon the risen Christ and gave the only answer the Bible allows: “My Lord and my God.” That’s exactly who Jesus Christ is.

Trump Ties Saudi Nuclear Deal To Joining The Abraham Accords As The Middle East Moves Closer To Daniel’s Coming Covenant With Many

President Trump said on Thursday that a new nuclear energy deal with Saudi Arabia will require the Arab kingdom to normalize relations with Israel. That marked a turn, a day after the administration announced the signing of the agreement without mentioning that precondition. Trump said in an online post that the deal “will be approved, but is totally subject to Saudi Arabia joining the very respected and successful Abraham Accords.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed Trump’s condition that Saudi Arabia join the accords that would establish relations with Israel. And tick, tock, goes the end times clock.

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9:27 (KJB)

On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, the stunning part of this announcement is not simply that Washington and Riyadh have negotiated a civilian nuclear partnership. It is that President Trump has now placed Israel at the hinge of the entire arrangement. The Energy Department announced a decades-long nuclear-cooperation agreement on July 22; Trump then declared that its implementation is “totally subject” to Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords and normalizing relations with Israel. Nuclear power, American technology, Saudi wealth, regional security and peace with Israel are being bound together inside one enormous geopolitical package. Saudi Arabia has always been the crown jewel of Trump’s Abraham Accords. Bringing the kingdom into formal relations with Israel would transform the accords from a collection of normalization agreements into the framework for an entirely new Middle Eastern order.

Psalm 83 presents Israel surrounded by enemies conspiring against its continued existence. Jeremiah 30:7 points forward to the unparalleled “time of Jacob’s trouble.” Daniel 9:27 reveals a covenant that appears to provide order and security before producing betrayal, abomination and desolation. Taken together, these passages paint a sobering picture: Israel’s search for peace will ultimately produce an agreement powerful enough to reorganize the region, persuasive enough to gain Israel’s confidence and broad enough to include “many.” Trump may not be the man who ultimately confirms Daniel’s covenant, but he is absolutely helping construct the diplomatic machinery that the coming man of sin will inherit. The names and circumstances are impossible to ignore: the Abraham Accords, Israel at the center, Saudi Arabia as the decisive partner, multiple nations being gathered, promises of peace and security, and now nuclear technology being used as leverage to seal the deal. The Ground Gave Way And The Water Came: Glory Fellowship Orphanage In Kenya Reaches Fresh Water At 60 Feet As Operation Africa! Celebrates A Major Ministry Breakthrough

Praise the Lord—what an incredible answer to prayer! At sixty feet down, the drill finally broke through and water came rising out of the ground at the Glory Fellowship Orphanage. After sicknesses, contaminated water, emergency medicine, the new storage tank, and weeks of fundraising and labor, this photograph captures the moment everything changed. They were not merely digging a hole, they were digging toward life, health, stability, and a better future for those precious children God has opened the door for us to minister to.

“When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.” Isaiah 41:17 (KJB)

This is what the people of God can accomplish when compassion becomes action. A burden was shared, believers responded, workers showed up, the earth was opened, and God is blessing our efforts with water by allowing us to reach the water table! Long after the fundraising appeal is forgotten, that well will continue speaking with every bucket drawn, every meal prepared, every child washed, and every thirsty person refreshed will testify that Christians thousands of miles away cared enough to help.

Operation Africa! struck water today, and to God be all the glory!

In a little under 2 months, Operation Africa! has provided 1,100 Bibles, enough medicine to help heal 81 orphans sick with malaria and typhoid, a 10,000 liter water tank that was filled with clean water twice, and now today, the well we are building hit water 60 feeto down. This is nothing short of the miraculous, and a wonderful testimony of God touching people’s hearts to carry out His will here in the closing moments of the Church Age. Please pray for this outreach, and come help us!
