Come help Bibles Behind Bars to continue to supply jails and prisons across America with Bibles, books and gospel tracts for spiritually hungry inmates

Today we received an email from Chaplain Mark at the North Dakota State Penitentiary, and he had this to say: “As the chaplain I am responsible to protect the rights of every resident to practice their religion and I provide what they need to do that.  But with that being said – the most requested item is still the Bible. So I pass out many of them. I get requests for different versions of the Bible and really need a source for some KJVs. Many of the men specifically request a KJV Bible. We have organic Bible studies that have sprung up in almost every pod. We have baptized almost 200 men since I got here. Instead of going out to recreation they are getting together and having Bible studies. Your help would really be a blessing to the men here.”

In addition to that, over at the Dunklin County Jail in Kennett, MO, we received this report. “Three years ago, our church started a jail ministry for the ladies that were incarcerated in our local Dunklin County Jail and two years ago we added a team for the men as well. We started with the understanding that we could not just go in a few months and quit, but it had to become a ministry of longevity. After three years, we can say that our Jail Ministry team has absolutely made an impact for those that have been incarcerated. This year, our teams have baptized 58 men and women inside the jail and we are seeing a few get released and bring their families to church. The heart of our teams is to provide Bibles to each individual that is incarcerated and we were just looking for a place that we could get Bibles, and we came across your information. If you could provide 50-100 that would be amazing.”

Christian, the LORD has kicked open wide the door for all of us who desire fruit at the Judgment Seat of Christ by allowing us to provide Bibles and books to jails and prisons likes these all across the country. The harvest is great, the labourers are few, come and help us to complete the mission. We need you!

Walker State Prison in Georgia is the latest facility to reach out to Bibles Behind Bars for help with Bibles in English and Spanish

Chaplain Reaves from the Walker State Prison reached out to us the other day asking for study Bibles, we were happy to help by sending him Ruckman Reference Study Bibles. We will also be sending him Spanish Bibles as well. In addition to that, we have also just supplied Orange County Department of Corrections in Florida, Mount Olive Correctional Complex in West Virginia, and the Parnall Correctional Facility in Michigan with their requests as well.

“Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.” Psalm 142:7 (KJB)

Georgia has a prison population of over 47,000 inmates, and Walker State Prison is a ‘Faith and Character Based Facility’. Chaplain Reaves tells us he has a very diverse population and they need all kinds of Bibles and books but especially the study Bibles. Please pray for our ongoing efforts all across the state of Georgia, and in all the other states where God is giving us an open door. Bibles Behind Bars is the lifeboat God has given us here at the end of the Church Age, come join us to get out God’s preserved word to inmates across America

As we’ve been telling you, this summer has been absolutely blockbuster for our Bibles Behind Bars program, with new requests coming in from all over the United States. The Orange County Department of Corrections in Orlando, Florida, the Mount Olive Correctional Complex in West Virginia, and the Parnall Correctional Facility in Michigan are the 3 newest members to the ‘Triple B’ family, and we are excited to supply them with all the books and Bibles they need for the inmates they minister to.

“For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.” Isaiah 69:33 (KJB)

Chaplain Seigel over at the Michigan Department of Corrections, has a high need for Spanish Bibles, Chaplain Coo at the Mount Olive Correctional Complex tells us “We have a very active church community. In addition, our facility acts as an intake and classification facility. Our need for bibles is great. We always need large print bibles.” And Chaplain Hooker at the Orange County Department of Corrections in Orlando asks about a monthly subscription of 200-300 King James Bibles.

As you can see, the need is very great, the time is short and the labourers are few. We need you to come alongside and help us to ‘seek and to save that which is lost’ by sending out God’s preserved word to as many as we can. DL Moody once remarked ‎“I look upon this world as a wrecked vessel. God has given me a lifeboat and said, ‘Moody, save all you can.” Bibles Behind Bars is the lifeboat God has given us here at the end of the Church Age, we need your help, come join us!
