We are beyond blessed with testimonies of thousands of people getting saved along with the sending out of over 1,000,000 King James Bibles, scripture portions and gospel tracts

The NTEB Free Bible and Gospel Tract Program started unofficially in 2016 with King James Bibles and tracts being sent out from my home to people who needed them but couldn’t afford them, or were unable to access them freely. It started officially in 2020 when NTEB’ers Bill and Marilyn sent in a sizable donation labeled with a yellow sticky note “for the free Bible program”. I told him we didn’t have a free Bible program, to which he said “now you do!”. And so we did. Today I come to you all with the incredible news that we have now gone past 1,000,000 pieces of King James Bible literature sent out completely for free to the people and institutions who recieve them. To all of you who support this outreach, thank you beyond words. This is a massive undertaking and we need each and every one of you.

“And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.” Acts 13:49 (KJB)

NTEB owns no real estate, owns no property of any kind, and has exactly zero dollars invested in any of the markets or crypto. Instead, we have invested 100% of the money we take in into the purchasing of and sending out of King James Bibles, new testaments, RVG Spanish Bibles, Ekugusi Bibles, Tagalog Bibles, gospel tracts, scripture portions, Bible commentaries and jail ministry supplies. We have rebuilt whole libraries in multiple jails and detention centers. Bibles Behind Bars continues to grow at a rate where, at times, requests for Bibles and literature begins to outpace available money in the bank, but we send them anyway and trust the Lord to make up the difference. He always does. Every time.

Along the way, testimonies of people getting saved, thousands of them, began to pour in. The LORD has piled so much fruit on our collective plates that sometimes it seems like a wonderful dream, and I so very much look forward to the “rest of the story” when we get to the Judgment Seat of Christ. Time would fail me to tell you about the hundreds of emails we have gotten from prison chaplains and jail workers who, finding no one to help them anywhere else, are stunned to find they can come to us and get all the Bibles and books they need. No questions asked, for free. To date, we have never said no to any request no matter how large the facility. All the way from southern Florida up to Alaska off the Russian border, and every other state in-between. That’s how wide the open door the LORD gave us goes.

Christian, we are living in the end times, and those times are about to get a whole lot rougher. But as good soldiers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have been tasked with a mission to send out God’s preserved word as far and wide as we are able to send it. The stock market today may have recorded a one trillion dollar loss, and it did, but I promise you that every penny you invest into our Free Bible Program and Bibles Behind Bars will pay you massive dividends in eternity. Two Weeks After We Shipped King James Bibles To Atascadero State Hospital, A Chaplain’s Beautiful Testimony Shows What Happened When The Boxes Were Opened

There are places in our society intentionally built for maximum separation, spaces where razor wire, heavy steel doors, and strict security protocols define daily life. The California Department of State Hospitals Atascadero is one of those places. As a maximum-security forensic psychiatric facility, it houses men who are navigating both profound psychological crises and complex legal paths. To the world, it is an institutional fortress. But to a ministry like Bibles Behind Bars, it represents a profound mission field. You are really going to enjoy what the chaplain there told us today about the impact the Bibles we send there have on the inmates.

“Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.” Psalm 142:7 (KJB)

We sent a shipment of Bibles to them about two weeks ago, and today I read this from Chaplain Anderson – “Thank you very much for the large print, King James bibles you sent to us. As I walked down the hallway with the warehouse cart full of beautiful bibles, patients stopped me many times and asked for a bible. As I walked, and gave out many bibles, I looked back and saw men stopped in the hallway, leaned up against the wall and each one began to read and devour their brand-new King James bible! The forensics maximum security state hospital for the criminally insane was instantly filled with peace. My heart was filled with a deep sense of awe and gratitude at the kindness and mercy of Jesus Christ. May our God continue to bless you and shine His Mighty Face upon your ministry!” The graphic you see at the top of this article is an artistic representation of what that might have looked like, and man oh man, I sure do wish I could have been there to see the looks on their faces as they recieved their new Bibles. Don’t you?

Christian, take a moment to think about how scary it must be to be committed to a place like Atascadero State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, and praise the LORD that it’s not you in there. Then take a moment to reread Chaplain Anderson’s wonderful testimony about how the Bibles we provide to them bring such a sense of peace to the souls in those dark corridors. Chaplains from both the Florence Service Processing Center and the Webb County Detention Center have reached out to us for Spanish Bibles for their inmates

This is one of those times where it is so very easy to see the Hand of God at work in the midst of chaotic circumstances. The headlines are full these days of stories about ICE being dispatched to arrest illegal immigrants, and take them to various holding facilities where they will await trial and then, mostly likely, deportation. Every single one of these people who find themselves behind bars for border crimes represent a precious soul that Jesus shed His blood for on the cross. And now we are being tapped, by God, to send in copies of His word to give to them. What an honor, what an amazing open door.

“Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.” 2 Timothy 2:9 (KJB)

Chaplain Alex Rey writes to us and says “The Florence Service processing Center houses individuals from different countries, many of whom are Spanish speaking. As chaplain, I hope to make 400 Spanish Bibles available to detainees so they can practice their faith, find confort and hope, and receive spiritual encouragement during their time in custody. Thank you for considering our request.” Christian, we are the main link in the supply chain for chaplains and pastors working in the prisons all across our great nation, and I believe that these requests originate in the Throne Room of God before popping up in our inbox. Funny thing, while I was writing this article you are now reading, I got an email from Chaplain Salazar from the Webb County Detention Center in Laredo, TX, and he says “Our Facility holds ICE detainees waiting for deportation and US Marshals inmates. We give Bibles to all detainees/inmates upon request and also we use them during Religious Services. Per ICE dynamic processes, the admission and release of detainees are executed almost every day. This Facility holds 499 beds. We are in need of Spanish Bibles.” We need to send out 1,000 RVG Bibles – the King James Bible in Spanish – to these two facilities costing right around $4,500.00.
