World Leaders Approve Global Climate Change Tax In Fulfillment Of Luke 2

South Africa’s environment minister, Bomo Edna Molewa, called the accord the “first step in a long journey that the global community needs to undertake together.”

Nations Approve Landmark Climate Change Accord in Paris

“And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.” Luke 2:1-3 (KJV)

The first time that the Lord Jesus Christ came to this earth, as a baby in the manger, the thing that preceded that event was a worldwide, global tax. You can read all about that in Luke 2 in your King James Bible. When Jesus returns at the Second Coming at the end of the time of Jacob’s trouble, there will also be a global tax in place. What do you think the United Nations Climate Change Summit in Paris was all about? Do you really think it was about trying to stop the climate from changing? No, obviously not. But beating the war drums on “climate change” is an amazingly-powerful vehicle for gathering all the world together to agree on a global climate tax that every nation in the world will be forced to pay.

Do you know what the globalists passed today? They passed a legally-binding, final draft of the 195-nation agreement to impose a tax on every nation on earth to fight “climate change”. If you are one of those people who take notes whenever some element of Bible prophecy gets fulfilled, please add this to your records. December 12, 2015, in fulfillment of Luke 2:1, a global tax on all the world was issued and approved by the United Nations. Is the United Nations mentioned anywhere in Bible prophecy? It sure is:

“I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” Joel 3:2 (KJV)

If a global tax that precedes the Second Coming is already in place, then how much closer are we then to the Rapture of the Church that  precedes the time of Jacob’s trouble? Why, I would say it’s right around the corner.

LE BOURGET, France — With the sudden bang of a gavel Saturday night, representatives of 195 countries reached a landmark climate accord that will, for the first time, commit nearly every country to lowering planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions to help stave off the most drastic effects of climate change.

Delegates who have been negotiating intensely in this Paris suburb for two weeks gathered for the final plenary session, where Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius of France asked for opposition to the deal and, hearing none, declared it approved.

With that, the delegates achieved what had been unreachable for two decades: a consensus on the need to shift from carbon-based fuels and a road map for the 195 nations to do so.

Though the deal did not achieve all that environmentalists, scientists and some countries had hoped for, it set the table for more efforts to slow the slide toward an unlivable planet. It was an extraordinary effort at global diplomacy. Supporters argued that no less than the future of the planet was at stake, and in the days before the final session, they tried relentlessly to persuade skeptical nations.

As they headed into the cavernous hall late Saturday, representatives of individual countries and blocs expressed support for a deal hammered out in a final overnight session on Friday. After a day of stops and starts, Mr. Fabius, the president of the climate conference, declared a consensus and struck the gavel at 7:26 p.m., abruptly closing formal proceedings that had threatened to go into the night. source

Force-fitting current events into a Biblical timeline of End Time Events should be carefully avoided. Please show me what Bible verse states that a global climate change tax is to take place right before the “Rapture?” Also, please tell me what Bible verse states that there is even going to be a pre-Tribulation “Rapture?” I’ve read the Bible from cover to cover and have not seen either. The only event I’ve ever seen about believers being “caught up” is in 1 Thess 4:17 and it takes place at the END OF THE TRIBULATION PERIOD, after most believers have been beheaded by the Antichrist. Please clarify. Thank you!

What preceded the first coming of Jesus was a one world government, Rome, and a global tax, yes? The Bible tells us that when He comes a Second time, that the one world government – revived ROMAN empire – is in place, right? And if the types hold true, a global tax like the first time will also be in place. Today the global tax was passed. One world government soon to follow….

      • Sam Fox

Geoffrey, “…yes?” Well, not exactly. The Roman govt of Jesus’ time only extended as far as Rome occupied. They had a large kingdom, but not the whole world.

You are correct that a one world govt is on it’s way though, & the tax you speak of is a start. I’m just not sure this new tax is predicted in the book as another a sign or indication of Yeshua’s 2nd advent. His ONE & ONLY 2nd advent. 🙂

Don’t forget, HIS words put the kibosh on the possibility that He is coming & then appearing some 7 years later and at His 1st 2nd advent leaves future members of the Church & body behind. So, how can He not keep us in a trib situation but CAN keep the ‘left behind’?

Shortened version of Mathew 13. Tares sown after wheat. Jesus says let them grow together till the harvest. Explaining the parable He says harvest is end & culmination of the age. Where’s the PTR in there?

John’s gospel. JESUS, THE Divine Son of the Great I AM, said, I will raise up ALL my own at the last day. He said this 4 times & Martha once. In wheat & tares He showed us when the last day comes, at the end of the age. If He comes pre trib, Yahooo! I wanna be with Him then. But IF HE DOES COME, appear, return then, THAT would be the end of the age, so that would be it. His Kingdom on earth would then be established. After all, HE said the above, I didn’t impose my own take onto His words. I repeated them as He said them, nothing added nothing subtracted. You just have to look in the Book to confirm.

Like I said in another thread, I don’t worry about what happens from the beginning of the tares/wheat parable to the harvest, end of the age. I just concern myself with walking with Him every day, reading the Book & prayer. All the ‘middle events’ He has in His hands. In His hands there is room enough for all His own as well.

We can all agree that in this generation there still exist a remnant of born again believers in Jesus Christ right? So how is this current remnant any different than the born again believers in past time that we would be hurled into the 7 year tribulation period? Logically speaking, if the currently living Body of Believers in the Lord Jesus has to go into the time of Jacob’s trouble, then it seems God would have to bring the dead in Christ back to life to put them also into the tribulation. Because once again, where is the difference?
I see there is still no attempted answer to my question, “If the rapture happens at the end of the tribulation, who are the people who will replenish the earth during the Millenium? Sam Fox, Allison, Dianne, anyone else, can you answer this simple question?

          • Skywatcher

Heather, they cannot answer your question because without manipulating the Scriptures, they cannot come up with one. Here we go yet AGAIN…those with the poorest understanding of Eschatology are the ones who try to shoot down the rest of us who see it so clearly, w/out the unanswered questions! It’s an never-ending vicious circle.

We KNOW that the Bride HAS TO BE removed prior to the G.T. because Christ is NOT a wife-beater!

          • Doug Lussier

The bride will be taken out from the Body of Christ as Eve was taken out from the body of Adam. Jesus is the second Adam. When the bridegroom comes for his bride he will simply call her out – Raptured(5 wise virgins). This is not the same event as The Second Coming. Once the bride is removed those who were not ready and remained in the body – which is now dead(5 foolish virgins) will go into The Tribulation to be purged (as individuals) and made ready to be called up to meet Jesus in the air when He returns at The second Coming. He is not coming for a luke-warm church but for a radiant bride who has listened to what the Spirit is saying to the churches (now being judged) and come out from – and made herself ready – without spot or wrinkle – dressed for the wedding. The time is now – to be ready for the bridegroom not the Second Coming !

Revelation 20:1-10 The clear and precise answer is in verse 4. God Bless you

          • Heather

            Dianne, the two questions I put forth as follows;

            1) How is this current remnant of true born again believers different than past time born again believers that we should be hurled into the 7 year tribulation?
            2) If the rapture happens at the end of the tribulation, then who are the people that will replenish the earth during the Millenium?
So how does the verse you quoted answer those questions? It doesn’t.

            Revelation 20:4(KJV)

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

          • So how is this current remnant any different than the born again believers in past time that we would be hurled into the 7 year tribulation period?…”

I just return the questions to you:

How is this current remnant any different than the born again believers in the past time that suffered intense persecutions, fed to lions, tortured, burned alive, etc, that we would NOT be hurled into a 7 years tribulation period? Logically speaking, If the present Body of Believers in the Lord Jesus has to escape from the time of Jacob’s trouble, then it seems God would have to repent abandoning the past dead in Christ in horrible tribulations. Because once again, where is the difference?

You just ignore the past tribulations true believers endured in various place during these last 2000 years! What a lack of respect! Are we really better than them? The Bible just says the opposite:

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” (2 Tim 3:1-5)

These verses correctly describe the current state of the last day church, the Laodicean church period.

But once people have been brainwashed by the pretribulation rapture, OSAS, prosperity and hyper-grace gospel and other heresies preached in their end-time demonic entertainment church, they cannot see anymore but will feel and believe that they can see a pretribulation rapture and OSAS in every verse of the Bible.

“Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.” (John 9:41)

          • Skywatcher

Marc, maybe the following words will help to clarify things a little better for you and others. Jesus said we would have troubles and we would come under persecution, but He NEVER ever equated these things (tribulations) to the Great Tribulation! That is the mother of ALL tribulations, the last one, and it’s GLOBAL! It’s God’s judgment to awaken Israel, and to show His ultimate authority and control over all. He uses this G. T. to prove that He keeps His words, He is who He said He was/is, and that He doesn’t like it when Satan and mankind mess around with His creation, attempting to destroy it and to remake it into their “image and likeness”! It’s so bad, that it’s a wonder to me that ANYBODY survives it!

Here is a little interview from “Lion of Judah Ministry” this week. Are we now living in the Tribulation?

Gary Fisher: If we are now living in the Tribulation, where is the one-world leader whom the Bible calls the Antichrist? The Antichrist is the First Seal Judgment of Revelation 6, and he is the very first event that happens from the very beginning of the Tribulation.

Dr. Reagan: How can we have been living in the Tribulation for the past 50-60 years when Daniel and Revelation tell us the Tribulation is supposed to be seven years long?

Gary Fisher: In the very first few months of the Tribulation half the world’s population will die. Horrible! When has that occurred?

Dr. Reagan: Concluding that we are now living in the Tribulation is what happens when one starts interpreting prophecies symbolically. A literal interpretation of the Bible proves we are not now living in the Tribulation.

Nathan Jones: I looked out of the window today and a third of the trees weren’t burning, the water wasn’t filled with blood, no dead bodies are littering the landscape, and no one is trying to imprint 666 on my right hand or forehead. Those are part of what’s supposed to happen during the Tribulation, and they’re not happening today.

Marc, and others, that’s only a small synopsis to prove that the Great Tribulation VARIES from all other tribulations that peoples around the world have had to endure AT DIFFERING TIMES! The Bible tells us it will be a time like the world has never known, Mt. 24: 21.

Marc, I might just add, when has the sun and moon refused to shine? When did the stars fall from heaven and when were the powers of heaven shaken? Mt. 24: 29 tells us these things will happen “immediately after the tribulation of those days…”

We cannot just cherry pick Scriptures and build a doctrine around them! We must “rightly divide the word of truth”.

Man! How did we get from global warming to this?!

          • Heather

Marc, you turned your answer into a manipulated quilt trip and so it was still no answer at all to my questions.

          • Beaumont

“how is this current remnant any different than the born again believers in past time that we would be hurled into the 7 year tribulation period?…”

Although noone can earn salvation, by works alone (Eph 2:8-9), I was of the understanding that the times, seasons, and Temple would be restored, for about 3 1/2 years — between the ministry of the Two Witnesses and the Abomination of Desolation.

If you consider the Rapture of the Church to be the end of the Gentile Age, Church Age, or Age of Grace, believers at the time of the Tribulation might formally be regarded as Israel, whether by blood or conversion.

(I do have strong opinions, on some doctrines, but the above timeline is just speculation.)

          • Dianne

Hello Heather, please read Revelation 20:1-10 for your answer. Pay close attention to verse 4. God Bless you.

      The Pretribulation Rapture

by David J. Stewart | Listen To Gospel Medley

The Bible clearly teaches that the Rapture occurs BEFORE the Tribulation, and the Tribulation occurs BEFORE the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ from Jerusalem.

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” —1st Thessalonians 4:13-18

Here are 28 differences between the Rapture and Christ’s Second Coming

      The Predictable, Unpredictable, Pre-Tribulation, Rapture
Anything Other Than a Pre-Tribulation Rapture Removes The Prophesied Element Of Surprise

The strongest evidence in the Bible of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture (that is, the Biblical doctrine that Jesus Christ will return FOR the saints BEFORE the 7-year Tribulation period) is the PROPHESIED ELEMENT OF SURPRISE! Plainly, the Lord Jesus taught that NO MAN KNOWS THE TIME of His return. Matthew 24:44, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Luke 12:40, “Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” Anything other than a Pre-tribulation Rapture (in time of event) totally REMOVES this Biblical element of surprise.

The Bible predicts the Rapture, telling us that it will be unpredictable, imminent, without warning, and will be visible only to THE SAINTS. When Jesus raised up from the dead, 1st Corinthians 15:6 teaches that the Lord appeared bodily to over 500 BRETHREN AT ONCE. The Lord did not appear to any unsaved people after His resurrection. The Lord appeared to Mary Magdalene, His 12 apostles, over 500 disciples at once and others. There is no record of any unsaved person seeing the Lord in His resurrected body.

Likewise, the Lord will only appear to the saints at the Rapture when He comes. The unsaved world, although no doubt they will be adversely affected to some degree by the Rapture, will not see Christ at that time. The world will see Christ 7-years later when He returns to the earth riding on a white horse of judgment at the Second Coming. I have listed 28 differences contrasting the Rapture to the Second Coming; such as the fact that the saints will be GOING UP at the Rapture, but they will be COMING DOWN at the Second Coming.

Granted, the Rapture is a more difficult doctrine in the Bible to discern, simply because it requires a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the chronological order of prophetic events. God created time as a mean of letting His children know what will happen next on His prophetic time line. The Lord calls us His friends, as He clarified in John 15:15, “Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” The Lord as our friend is telling us what He is going to do in the future. What an awesome Savior!

I marvel when I think about how our omnipotent God chose to live in my body as a Christian believer, being as close as is possible with me as His child. Jesus wanted to be so close to each of His children, that He planned before we were even conceived to live within our very being, uniting with our very soul. 1st Corinthians 3:16-17 teaches that the believer’s human body is the temple of the Holy Spirit of God. My human heart and mind cannot fathom such awesome love, to think that the God Who spoke the universe into existence, would choose and make it possible to live within my very body continually, never to leave me (1st John 4:4; James 13:5).

There is probably not a more controversial doctrine than the Rapture of the saints in the Bible. Skeptics love to point out that the word “Rapture” is not found in the Bible, but neither is the word “Bible.” So why do we use the term Bible? The word “Rapture” does NO injustice to the Scriptures. The teaching of the Rapture is Biblical. The word “Rapture” means “to be caught away,” which is plainly taught in 1st Thessalonians 4:17. Many critics of the Rapture doctrine have stressed this fact over and over, that is, that the word “rapture” is not found in the Bible. However, the word “Trinity” is not found in the Bible either. Nevertheless, the word “Godhead” most certainly is found in the Bible (if you have a non-corrupted Bible). I prefer the word “Godhead” for this simple reason. This is why modern Bible butcherers completely removed the word “Godhead,” so Satan could attack the deity of Christ.

The reliable King James Bible mentions the “Godhead” in Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9. All modern corrupted Bible versions completely remove the word Godhead. The reason why was to broaden their marketing base (the love of money), catering to the sectarian bias of hundreds of various religious groups. Satan is behind the modern corrupted Bible versions, attacking the deity of Jesus Christ, the Godhead and His preeminence.

Nevertheless, I confidently believe that the word “Trinity” does NO injustice to the plain teachings of the Word of God. The word accurately describes the divine triune nature of God. Howbeit, as I mentioned, I prefer to use the word “GODHEAD.” Tragically, modern versions of the Bible, such as the damnable New International Version [NIV or H.I.V.] have removed this word Godhead completely (as they have the words: trucebreakers, winebibbers, carnal, slothful, unthankful, effeminate, backbiting, vanity, lasciviousness, whoredom, devils, fornication, Lucifer, damnation, brimstone, and the bottomless pit, Calvary, propitiation, bottomless pit, sodomites, et cetera).

The name and doctrine of Lucifer have been completely removed from modern so-called “easy-to-read” corrupt Bibles. Read Isaiah 14:12 for yourself and verify what I say. Lucifer (Satan) is behind the Bible-corrupting movement, which is why he wants people to think that he doesn’t really exist. Wake up!

God Always Deals With Israel and the Church Separately

Don’t forget this one great truth about Bible prophecy, that is, God never deals with Israel and the Church at the same time. In the Old Testament God dealt with Israel; but in the New Testament God is dealing with the Church. Whenever God deals with His earthly chosen nation, then He is not dealing with the Church. God set aside Israel in the Old Testament because of her spiritual harlotry. We are now living in the Church age, in the “Times Of The Gentiles” (Luke 21:24). In the Tribulation God will once again deal with Israel.

Please listen to: Why I Am Glad I Won’t Be In The Tribulation | Great Tribulation (heart-touching, life-changing, MP3 sermons by Evangelist Phil Kidd).

This further evidences that the Church will be taken out of the world before the Tribulation period, which is a time when God will deal once again with Israel. The Church will NOT go through the Tribulation, nor half-way through the Tribulation.

Were Billy Sunday, Moody, Jones, Hutson, Rice and Ironside All Wrong?

May I humbly make the important observation that the greatest men of God of the past 150 years all believed in a PRETRIBULATION RAPTURE! Harry A. Ironside, John R. Rice, Jack Hyles, Bob Jones Sr., Lee Roberson, Oliver B. Greene, R.A. Torrey, Dwight Moody, Lester Roloff, Curtis Hutson, Billy Sunday, W.A. Criswell, Charles C. Ryrie, Raymond Barber and others all concluded and taught a Pretribulation Rapture of the saints!!! Amen! Were they all wrong on the Bible? I think not!

Read what Evangelist Billy Sunday said in his classic sermon, “The Second Coming Of Christ”…

The Lord does not come to the world at the time of the Rapture, but only reveals himself to the members of His Body. At the time of his resurrection He was only seen by those who believed on Him. Pilate and the High Priest, and those who crucified Him, did not know that He was risen. So it will be at the time of the Rapture. The world will not know that He has been here, and will have no knowledge of Him until He comes with the members of His Body, at the close of the Tribulation.

SOURCE: The Second Coming of Christ — by Evangelist Billy Sunday

Clearly, Billy Sunday concluded and taught a Pretribulation Rapture. The Bible very plainly teaches that the TIME of the Rapture is a carefully guarded secret. Those critics who decry a “secret Rapture” are criticizing the Lord’s very Words, for Jesus clearly stated in Mark 13:32-33, “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” The timing of the Rapture my friend is indeed A BIG SECRET!!! And again we read in Matthew 24:36, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”

Only a Pre-tribulation Rapture Focuses On Jesus Himself

Beware of the shallow psuedo-scholarship of this apostate generation. Remember, the purpose of all Bible prophecy is to testify of Jesus. Revelation 19:10, “…worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” The Rapture is all about the great and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, JESUS CHRIST!!! The Rapture is not about the appearance of the Antichrist, nor is it about the Tribulation, nor is it about God’s wrath being poured out upon the wicked world; but rather, the Rapture is all about the return of OUR DEAR SAVIOR JESUS!!!

All of these post-tribulation false prophets, and pre-wrath heretics, are failing to focus on the Lord Jesus Christ. The entire purpose behind a sudden, unpredictable, return of Christ is so that each and every believer will live accordingly, on their toes (so-to-speak), laboring to preach the gospel, walking in the Spirit, praying and abiding in the Scriptures, watching and waiting for the Lord’s imminent return. Mark 13:36-37, “Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

A “Falling Away” Must Happen First

In the following Scriptures, we read the term “a falling away” . . .

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” —2nd Thessalonians 2:1-3

The Greek meaning for this phrase is “a departure.” I believe that this term refers to the departure of the Saints. The reason is because the context of the surrounding Scripture passage tells us, “BE NOT SOON SHAKEN IN MIND, OR BE TROUBLED.” What should we not be troubled about? Verse 1 tells us that this issue concerns the “COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.” Now if this Scripture is telling us that the Lord will not return until the world goes into total apostasy, then this passage is not very helpful or comforting, because it would be highly susceptible to speculation. Many people thought during the days of the Roman Empire, when Julius Caesar mercilessly murdered 430,000 German tribesman (see, KILLING JESUS, by Bill O’Reilly) that the end was near. Many people thought World Wars I and II were the end. If however, this Scripture passage is referring to the departure (FALLING AWAY) of the saints, then that is very clear-cut and unmistakable.

Some people believe that the phrase “a falling away” in 2nd Thessalonians 2:3 refers to a departure from law and order, i.e., anarchy! These are the folks who believe in a Pre-wrath (mid tribulation) or Postribulation (after the tribulation) Rapture. Of course, this is not the PLAIN teaching of the Bible. Although the anarchy theory sounds very plausible, it is not very practical because history is filled with anarchy, rebellion and lawlessness. Dr. Jack Hyles explains this historical fact in his awesome MP3 sermon, WHY THE ANTICHRIST MUST COME SOON!

In addition, I will show you further Scriptures in a moment that overwhelmingly support the departure of the saints prior to the Tribulation period (i.e., the 7-year time between the Rapture and the millennial reign of Christ from Jerusalem). So, I could just as easily use the term “falling away” (or the departure), but the term “Rapture” DOES justice to the overwhelming amount of Biblical evidence in support of a Rapture of the saints (i.e., when all the saints shall all be caught up together in the clouds to be with Jesus). There’s no mention of the word “dispensation” in the Bible, but the Bible plainly teaches Dispensationalism (Dr. Harry Ironside).

Albeit, beware of Ultra-Dispensationalism (by Dr. Jack Hyles). It is ridiculous to complain about words which perfectly fit Biblical teachings which are 100% accurate. Howbeit, if you don’t like the term Rapture, then don’t use it; but it is sinful to deny that the saints will be “CAUGHT UP” when Christ returns for His Church before the Tribulation, which is a very different and distinctive event than Christ’s Second Coming after the 7-year Tribulation to establish His earthly kingdom and reign from the throne of David in Israel. At the Rapture, the saints are ascending UP; but at Christ’s Second Coming, the saints are descending DOWN.

Here is an excellent exegesis of the much debated phrase “falling away” from 2nd Thessalonians 2:2 by Dr. Max D. Younce…

      B. We now examine II Thessalonians 2:3, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (day of LORD) shall not come, except there come a falling away (departure) first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”

We are now introduced to the Greek word “apostasia” which is translated as “falling away” in the King James Translation. The basic meaning of the word is “departure.” One cannot tell from the meaning of the word, itself, whether it is in reference to the departure, i.e., the Rapture of the Church; or, a “departure from the truth,” known as apostasy. “Apostasia” translated as “falling away” is quite misleading, as it does not incorporate the meaning “to fall” or “fell.” For example, check Matthew 10:29 (“fall”); Matthew 17:6 (“fell”); John 18:6 (“fell”), etc. These are translated from the Greek word “pipto,” not “apostasia.” Therefore, only by the context in which “apostasia” occurs can it be determined if it is in reference to a departure from the faith, or the departure of the Church from the world.

It should be noted, that to the best of my knowledge, all English translations prior to the King James Translation translated “apostasia” either as “departing” or “departure.” Also, the Bible known as the Vulgate, about 400 A.D., was Jerome’s Latin translation. Here Jerome uses the Latin word “discessio”, meaning “departure” for “apostasia.”

With this in mind, one can see that this is in perfect harmony with Verse 1, which ascribes to the Rapture. “Now we beseech you brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him.” (The Rapture). This is the same as Paul had previously spoken about in I Thessalonians 4:17 concerning the Rapture. “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

In I Thessalonians 4:13-17, Paul gives the principles of the Rapture; whereas, in II Thessalonians 2, he gives the procedure concerning the Rapture, which is Pre-Tribulation.

May we make a few more observations which lead us to conclude that “apostasia” in II Thessalonians 2:3 is speaking of the Church departing from the earth, raptured to meet her Savior in the clouds, and not a departure from the faith.

(1). Notice in Verse 7, “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work.” Paul states that apostasy from the faith was already present. Hymenaeus and Alexander were two of them. (I Timothy 1:19,20). There were false teachers of the law. (I Timothy 1:4-7). False teachings concerning the resurrection. (II Timothy 2:16-18). Read Jude; I John 2:18; II Peter 2:1-3; I John 4:1-3, and we could go on and on. In other words, from the offspring of Adam and Eve there has always been apostasy from the faith. What do we attribute the Flood to? In Israel there were the false prophets and priests. It was the same at the time of Christ and ever since, to the present. Therefore, it would be ludicrous to think that “apostasia” in II Thessalonians 2:3 was in reference to “apostasy from the faith” when there has never been a time when apostasy has not been with us.

Therefore, how would the Thessalonians recognize any apostasy different from the apostasy that already existed and that has always existed in one way or another. From the context, itself, we know the “apostasia” in Verse 3 is not in reference to departure from the faith, already existent; but, rather, a departure of the Church from the world, or the Rapture. Apostasy already existed as stated in Verse 7, “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work…”

We have the same false teachers today, advocating a Partial or a Post-Tribulation Rapture, as those believers in Thessalonica encountered over 1900 years ago. As we have stated previously, the Christian is admonished to be “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ,” NOT, “the blessed hope and glorious appearing of the Tribulation Period! (I.e., the Day of God’s Wrath.).

SOURCE: Will the Church Be Raptured Before, During, or After the Tribulation Period?

Clearly, the “falling away” (verse 2) refers to “our gathering together unto him” (verse 1).

One of the best statements I ever read was the following statement by Dr. John R. Rice, “The best way to interpret the Bible is not to interpret it at all.” I like that. So often people make the MISTAKE of trying to find things in the Bible that God didn’t put there. We are commanded to “search the Scriptures” (John 5:39); however, we must not search for what is not there. It is critically important that we apply wisdom when studying the Bible. How do we do this? By taking the Bible at face value unless it says otherwise. The Book of Revelation does entail much symbolism, but the Bible CLEARLY indicates the meaning. Many false doctrines have been constructed by ignorant and unlearned men who are unskilled at dividing the truth…

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” —2nd Timothy 2:15

How do you “rightly divide“ the Word of God? By cross-referencing the Bible, i.e., comparing Scripture with Scripture. Correct Bible exegesis means to compare one truth to another and never take any Scripture outside of the contextual agreement of all the other Scriptures in the Bible as a whole.

As an example: Mark 16:16 says, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” Many people (including some preachers) foolishly believe that a person MUST be water baptized to be saved. A quick cross-reference over to 1st Corinthians 1:17 would reveal otherwise. Paul said, “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.” In believing we are justified IN GOD’S EYES by faith; but in water baptism we are justified IN THE EYES OF MEN by our works. Likewise, Paul speaks of the ROOT of the believer’s faith in Romans, being justified IN GOD’S EYES by faith alone (Romans 4:5-6); whereas James speaks of the FRUIT of the believer’s faith, being justified by works IN THE EYES OF MEN (James 2:17-24).

John 4:2 says that Jesus didn’t water baptize anyone; but His disciples did instead. If baptism were required by God for salvation, do you think Jesus and the Apostle Paul would have left it to someone else? There is no Biblical record of the woman at the well getting water baptized in John chapter 4, nor did Jesus ever tell her to go get water baptized.

The Apostle Paul clearly said that Jesus did NOT send him to baptize anyone. No one in the Old Testament was ever water baptized. The repentant thief on the cross wasn’t water baptized. Clearly, water baptism is NOT essential to salvation as some false churches errantly require today. Do you now see the importance of cross-referencing the Bible? I could show you dozens and dozens of such examples of false doctrines which result from failure to compare Scripture with Scripture. So, never base a doctrine upon a a single Scripture passage without taking into consideration the entire scope of the Scriptures. Ask the Holy Spirit of God to guide you…

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” —John 16:13

Let the Holy Spirit be your guide, and He’ll lead you around the minefields of heresy. Of course, you CANNOT have the Holy Spirit to guide you unless you are a born-again believer. If you have never accepted Christ as your personal Saviour, then please do so now. You need HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Having laid the groundwork, I would like to share with you some thoughts concerning the Rapture. There’s so much garbage (i.e., doctrinal heresy) on the internet today. I am saddened that America’s churches have been so lax in this needy area of preaching the truth in cyberspace. Far more people are surfing the internet than attending church these days, and you can’t blame them in view of the apostate condition of Christianity today. Jesus said that the unsaved in His generation were wiser than the saved, “…for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light” (Luke 16:8). And so it is today. Let us be diligent as believers in these Last Days—to contend for the Biblical faith, to stand against the evils of our time, to walk with Jesus and to aggressively go soulwinning to get people saved.

Plain Evidence Of A Pre-Tribulation Rapture

The Rapture and Christ’s Second Coming Cannot Happen Together

Pastor Steve Anderson in Arizona is by far the biggest critic of the Biblical pretribulation Rapture. Also, Dr. Kent Hovind has recently changed his beliefs, now denying the pretribulation Rapture which he previously believed for 38-years. Pastor Anderson teaches a postribulation Rapture in his film titled, “AFTER THE TRIBULATION”; but then flip flops in his sequel titled “THE BOOK OF REVELATION,” now teaching that the Rapture occurs 75-days after the Abomination Of Desolation (half way, or 3 1/2 years through the Tribulation). This latter view is commonly called the “PRE-WRATH” Rapture. This is the same heresy that Dr. Roland Rasmussen believed and taught.

I greatly admire investigative author and Christian, Mark Dice, and I highly recommend his cool videos exposing the Illuminati; BUT, Mark foolishly denies the pretribulation Rapture and you need to be aware of this. It appears that Radio host Alex Jones, Pastor Steve Anderson and others in their circle of friends are all hellbent on destroying the Biblical doctrine of the pretribulation Rapture. Jesus plainly said that His return would be a surprise and without warning. Only a pretribulation Rapture (i.e., the imminent return of Christ at any moment) supports the Biblical element of surprise.

The Pre-Wrath view teaches that the saints will go through the events of the beginning of the Tribulation, but will then be raptured before God pours out His wrath upon the earth in THE GREAT TRIBULATION (the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation). May I say, there is NOTHING in the Bible which supports anything other than a Pretribulation Rapture! Why? Simply because only a Pretribulation Rapture permits the element of surprise, which the Lord plainly taught, which I covered at the beginning of this article.

I heard Alex Jones and Steve Anderson say today on the February 1, 2013 Alex Jones Show that they aren’t denying the Rapture. They sincerely think that the Rapture will occur AFTER the Tribulation period. And as I mentioned, then Steve Anderson changed his view, now claiming a Pre-Wrath view. The Bible disagrees with both views!

Clearly, the Rapture cannot happen at the same time as the Second Coming, because it wouldn’t make any sense. Why would the saints be taken up (Rapture) at the same time that the saints are coming down (Second Coming)?

The Pre-Wrath view presents a different set of theological contradictions, removing the element of surprise completely. So why would Jesus command us all to WATCH (Mark 13:39)?

Mark 13:35-37, “Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

The Separating of the Tares from the Wheat

Please note that the following passage of Scripture is often misinterpreted. The Bible in this passage is NOT talking about the Rapture; but rather, the separation of the tares (unsaved) from the wheat (saved) at Christ’s Second Coming…

Matthew 24:38-42, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”

Again, the preceding Bible passage is NOT speaking about the Rapture of the saints; but rather, the separating of the tares from the wheat at the Second Coming of Christ. This truth is evidenced by verses 38-39, likening these unsaved people (tares) with the unsaved who perished in Noah’s time. Verse 42 does not refer to Christians by use of the words “your Lord.” Jesus is the Lord of all humanity. Philippians 2:9-11 teaches that every human being will ultimately bow their knee and confess with their tongue that Jesus is Lord, then God will cast the unbelieving into the Lake of Fire forever.

Note that in my early years as a believer that I used to believe that the “two men in the field” and the “two women grinding at the mill” referred to the Rapture. I believed this simply because that is what I had always been taught in Sunday School and church. However, it is now clear to me that the tares (unsaved) are removed and not the wheat (saved). Matthew 13:40 confirms that the tares are the unsaved being removed from the earth, and not the righteous (wheat). Matthew 13:40, “As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.”

Clearly this is a completely different and separate event than the Rapture, when the saints are removed instead. It would be silly to conclude that BOTH events happen at the Second Coming of Christ (that is, at the same time). It makes much more sense that the Rapture will happen BEFORE the 7-year Tribulation, and then the separation of the tares from the wheat will happen AFTER the Tribulation.

Now here’s my point and the PROOF of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture: If the Rapture happens AFTER the 7-year Tribulation period, then the tares will be taken at the same time as the Rapture of the saints, which makes absolutely no sense. If God Raptures the saints at the time of His Second Coming (i.e., a Post-Tribulation Rapture), then what would be the purpose of separating the tares from the wheat? The Bible plainly teaches that the separating of the tares from the wheat is NOT the Rapture. The Rapture is when the saints are “CAUGHT UP” (1st Thessalonians 4:17). In sharp contrast, at the onset of Christ’s Millennial reign, God is going to separate the wicked (tares) from the wheat (righteous)…

Matthew 13:36-42, “Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

God is going to remove the wicked! Clearly this passage of Scripture does NOT refer to the Rapture. So why would God Rapture the righteous and then separate the wicked tares from the righteous wheat all at the same time as the Second Coming of Christ? How could this even be possible? So if the Rapture follows the Tribulation, then God would have to remove the righteous and the wicked, so there’d be NO ONE LEFT! Remember the film series called, “LEFT BEHIND?” Well what would be the purpose of Rapturing the saints and leaving the wicked behind if Christ is simultaneously returning to set up His Kingdom? If you think this through, it is so obvious that a Post-Tribulation Rapture is impossible, ridiculous and totally unbiblical. Honestly, the Post-Tribulation crowd are comical and woefully ignorant of the Bible.

Now a Pre-Tribulation Rapture makes perfect sense, because the unsaved wicked are left behind at the Rapture to suffer through the 7-year Tribulation which follows. That makes sense! That’s what the Bible teaches! Alex Jones said on his February 1, 2013 show that “I know deception from the truth… anybody who has discernment would be freaking out over this” (i.e., a Pre-Tribulation Rapture). If you logic through the facts that I just gave you from the Bible, you can only conclude a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. The tares will be separated from the wheat at the END of the 7-year Tribulation when the Lord returns at the Second Coming. After the Battle Of Armageddon the tares will be separated from the wheat. The wheat (righteous) left behind are those people who will be saved during the Tribulation period. They will enter into the millennial Kingdom when Christ shall reign from Jerusalem over the entire earth.

The Early New Testament Church Elders Understood the Rapture

We’ve heard a bunch of lying propaganda on the internet from PreTrib Rapture bashers, alleging that John Darby invented the doctrine of the Rapture, which is not true. Although the word itself may or may not have been invented in 1834, popularized by Mr. Darby, the doctrine of the saints being “CAUGHT UP” is plainly taught in 1st Thessalonians 4:17 and was clearly understood by the early Church elders…

What Did Ancient Church Fathers Believe About The Rapture?
August 2, 2013 | By Beginning and End

“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” –1 Thessalonians 4:17

What did the first century church fathers believe about the Rapture? Were they pre-tribulation or post-tribulation? What did the disciples of the Apostles of Jesus Christ teach about the Rapture?

This article will present the writings of the early church fathers – from those who learned under the disciples of Jesus Christ, to the church leaders of the second and third centuries, on the Rapture – the supernatural removal of all Bible-believing Christians from Earth to enter Heaven. While the writings of the first, second and third century Christian church fathers are not Scripture and not on par with the Bible in any way, it is informative to see how the early church leaders interpreted Scripture in addition to what the learned directly from those closest to The Lord Jesus Christ. And definitively, the few writings still in existence on the end times, put the timing of the Rapture before the Great Tribulation.

This article will also serve to dispel some of the common misconceptions about Rapture theology as being something invented in the 19th century by a man named John Darby…

“John Darby Invented The Pre-Tribulation Rapture”

John Darby has been incorrectly credited with “inventing” the Rapture. All over the internet there are many articles and videos that claim that the Rapture doctrine was “invented” in 1830 by a man named John Darby. The following is an excerpt that summarizes this theory:

“The Rapture doctrine, which was the invention of the Plymouth Brethren led by John Nelson Darby (1800-1882), has today been adopted by most Baptist, Pentecostals, Assemblies of God, and a variety of other fundamentalist sects. The idea that Jesus Christ will return for His true Church just before the beginning of the Great Tribulation in a secret gathering or “catching away” was an important part of Darby’s teaching. The movement in which this teaching began originated in small groups in England and Ireland about 1828 and by 1831 was part of the official teaching of the Plymouth Brethren. By 1860 the “rapture” had made its way to the United States.

Today, prophecy pundits and “end-time” revivalists preach the Rapture as if it were established dogma from the time of Christ until the present. The truth is that the first historical reference to the Rapture doctrine comes from the Plymouth Brethren. Not only is the Rapture not found in the teachings of the Church, but even “end-time” heretics throughout the centuries never dreamed of proposing such a novel idea. For example, the 4th century Montanists, who preached both pre-millennialism and that they knew when Christ would return, never ventured so far as to create another 2nd coming of the Lord in a secret rapture.

In all the writings of the Scriptures, the Early Fathers, and the Ecumenical Councils, there is no mention of two 2nd comings of Christ.” (source) [Emphasis added].

In short, the objection is that rather than being a real part of the Bible, the entire idea of a pre-Great Tribulational Rapture was just an invention by Darby and “not even heretics” ever used it. This is very strong language, but is it true? Were there no ancient Christian writings about the church being Raptured before Great Tribulation? An examination of early church writings shows that this charge is false and there were some church fathers who indeed wrote about the Rapture.

      Irenaeus
Irenaeus (130 A.D. – 202 AD) was a bishop of the church in Lyons, France. He was an eyewitness to the Apostle John (who wrote the Book of Revelation) and a disciple of Polycarp, the first of the Apostle John’s disciples. Irenaeus is most-known for his five-volume treatise, Against Heresies in which he exposed the false religions and cults of his day along with advice for how to share the Gospel with those were a part of them.

In his writings on Bible prophecy, he acknowledged the phrase “a time, times and dividing of times” in Daniel 7 to signify the 3 ½ year reign of the Antichrist as ruler of the world before the Second Coming of Christ. He also believed in a literal Millennial reign of Christ on earth following the Second Coming and the resurrection of the just.

On the subject of the Rapture, in Against Heresies 5.29, he wrote:

“Those nations however, who did not of themselves raise up their eyes unto heaven, nor returned thanks to their Maker, nor wished to behold the light of truth, but who were like blind mice concealed in the depths of ignorance, the word justly reckons “as waste water from a sink, and as the turning-weight of a balance — in fact, as nothing;”(1) so far useful and serviceable to the just, as stubble conduces towards the growth of the wheat, and its straw, by means of combustion, serves for working gold. And therefore, when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this, it is said, “There shall be tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be.”(2) For this is the last contest of the righteous, in which, when they overcome they are crowned with incorruption.”

Irenaeus in this passage describes the church leaving the sinful world just before unprecedented disasters. Note his use of the term “caught up” which is Rapture terminology as that is the meaning of harpazo, the term for “caught up” in the King James Bible describing the Rapture in 1 Thessalonians 4. He then quotes Matthew 24:21 where The Lord Jesus Christ says: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” And it is during this time that those who convert to Christianity during the final years will receive the incorruptible crown mentioned by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 9:25. In Irenaeus’ belief, the Rapture took place prior to the end times Great Tribulation.

      Cyprian
Cyprian (200 AD – 258 AD) – Cyprian was Bishop of the church in Carthage. During his short stint as leader of the church, he guided the flock through intense persecution at the hands of the Roman Empire. In 258 AD after spending seven months of confinement to his home by order of Roman authorities, he was beheaded for his faith. Several of his works still exist today.

In Treatises of Cyprian he wrote in describing the end times Great Tribulation:

“We who see that terrible things have begun, and know that still more terrible things are imminent, may regard it as the greatest advantage to depart from it as quickly as possible. Do you not give God thanks, do you not congratulate yourself, that by an early departure you are taken away, and delivered from the shipwrecks and disasters that are imminent? Let us greet the day which assigns each of us to his own home, which snatches us hence, and sets us free from the snares of the world and restores us to paradise and the kingdom.”

Again we see use of language commonly found in reference to the Rapture as Cyprian describes the judgments of the end times as “imminent.” And he makes his belief on the timing of the Rapture when he wrote that Christians will have an “early departure” and be “delivered” from the devastating global judgments that come during the Day of The Lord.

In line with the Apostle Paul who wrote that “God has not appointed us to wrath, but salvation…” Cyprian expressed joy and encourages the believing reader to rejoice that the Church will be “taken away” before the disastrous Great Tribulation. Just as The Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 24 used the same language of one “taken away” and the other “left.” Additionally Cyprian references the mansions which The Lord Jesus Christ promises to come back and take His believers to in John 14.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” – John 14:1-3.

As Beginning and End detailed in our article “The Red Moon Rapture – The Biblical Timing of The Rapture”, in both the Matthew 24 passages (“one taken, the other left”) and in John 14 (“..receive you unto myself..”) the Greek work paralambanō is used for taken and receive. The meaning of that word is “join to one’s self” indicating that Jesus is coming to fully unify with His church – which takes place at the Rapture. Clearly Cyprian believed and taught that the Rapture takes place before the Great Tribulation.

      Ephraim The Syrian

Ephraim (306 AD – 373 AD) was made a deacon in the church in Syria in 338 and later became the bishop of Nisibis. Although he was made a “saint” in the Roman Catholic Church, he was not involved in Catholicism and did not even live in the Roman Empire until the final years of his life. The book Pseudo Ephraim was one of his still existing works. It was called “Pseudo” because of later dispute over authorship. However the book’s one reference to the rapture is very compelling:

In his work, On The Last Times 2, he wrote:

“We ought to understand thoroughly therefore, my brothers, what is imminent or overhanging. Already there have been hunger and plagues, violent movements of nations and signs, which have been predicted by the Lord, they have already been fulfilled (consummated), and there is not other which remains, except the advent of the wicked one in the completion of the Roman kingdom. Why therefore are we occupied with worldly business, and why is our mind held fixed on the lusts of the world or on the anxieties of the ages? Why therefore do we not reject every care of worldly business, and why is our mind held fixed on the lusts of the world or on the anxieties of the ages? Why therefore do we not reject every care of earthly actions and prepare ourselves for the meeting of the Lord Christ, so that he may draw us from the confusion, which overwhelms all the world? Believe you me, dearest brother, because the coming (advent) of the Lord is nigh, believe you me, because the end of the world is at hand, believe me, because it is the very last time.

Or do you not believe unless you see with your eyes? See to it that this sentence be not fulfilled among you of the prophet who declares: “Woe to those who desire to see the day of the Lord!” For all the saints and elect of God are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins. And so, brothers most dear to me, it is the eleventh hour, and the end of the world comes to the harvest, and angels, armed and prepared, hold sickles in their hands, awaiting the empire of the Lord. And we think that the earth exists with blind infidelity, arriving at its downfall early. Commotions are brought forth, wars of diverse peoples and battles and incursions of the barbarians threaten, and our regions shall be desolated, and we neither become very much afraid of the report nor of the appearance, in order that we may at least do penance; because they hurl fear at us, and we do not wish to be changed, although we at least stand in need of penance for our actions!”

With a sense of urgency and strong warning, Ephraim writes that the end times are upon this world and could start at any moment. This text very clearly states the saints and elect of God, all born again believers in The Lord Jesus Christ, will be “taken to the Lord” before the Great Tribulation. Ephraim also identifies the Old Testament “Day of The Lord” and the end times Great tribulation as the same event (in line with the teachings of the Beginning and End Rapture Series). Ephraim quotes Amos 5:18 which says: “Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.”

The point he makes is that a Christian should know the Day of The Lord is coming. In the first part of the passage Ephraim notes that:

“We ought to understand thoroughly therefore, my brothers, what is imminent or overhanging. Already there have been hunger and plagues, violent movements of nations and signs, which have been predicted by the Lord, they have already been fulfilled (consummated)” And not only that but that true Christians will be taken away before it starts.

Here he is describing the first 3 of the first 4 seals of Revelation 6 – wars, famines and plagues. These are the same end times signs Jesus Christ describes in Matthew 24:

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. – Matthew 24:3-8.

Jesus describes these events as “the beginning of sorrows.” He also says that when these things come to pass “the end is not yet.” Ephraim’s writing agrees with this interpretation as he says those same events have been “fulfilled (consummated)” in his day, but it was still not the actual Great Tribulation. This also falls in line with Beginning and End’s Rapture series as explained in our article Who Are The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse? (The first four seals of Revelation 6 were opened at the time Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven. And the rapture itself does not occur until the opening of the 6th Seal.)

Ephraim in very strong language warns the reader not to be consumed with the cares of the world because the world in its current form, is coming to an end. As the Second Advent or Coming of The Lord Jesus Christ grows near, believers are to look to Heaven and set their hearts on pleasing God. It is clear that Ephraim distinguishes the Second Coming of Christ from the rapture, placing the Rapture before the Great Tribulation to come.

The Early Church Believed In The Rapture

The ancient writings are clear – the belief in the Rapture has existed since the days of the Apostles.

Although there are not a great number of writings on the end times from the early centuries of the church, there is no question that there was a belief in the Rapture among the church fathers and they taught it with strong language and scriptural support. In terms of the timing of the Rapture, the early church fathers placed it before the end times Day of The Lord/Great Tribulation. The writings of early saints in the church are not Scripture and should not be treated on the same level of the Bible. These writings also do not “prove” that the pre-Great Tribulation Rapture or the Beginning and End Rapture series are correct. Only rightly divided Scripture from the Bible can determine if a specific belief is accurate or in error. But the writings of church fathers can serve as useful commentaries (just as we use Bible commentaries today in our studies) and certainly prove that the Rapture doctrine existed well before John Darby and has been a part of Christian belief since the earliest days of the Apostles.

Saints Receive A Body Fashioned Like Unto The Lord’s

All Christians will be changed at the Rapture (1st Corinthians 15:52). Our sinful earthly bodies will be changed into incorruptible, eternal bodies. What a day that will be! No more neck pain from my herniated disks! We will be changed in less than a second…

“Behold, I shew you a mystery [the Rapture doctrine]; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” —1st Corinthians 15:51-53

The next great prophetic event on God’s calendar is the blessed Rapture of the saints from the earth. 1st Corinthians 15:52, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Philippians 3:20-21, “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”

The following Verse is one of my favorites in the whole Bible…

“And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.” —John 16:22

No one will ever ruin our day again. No more insults, no more gossip, no more bullies, no more mean people, no more rude remarks, no more jealous coworkers. Amen! Let’s face it, many people are cold-hearted and insensitive, especially towards tender-hearted people. Tender-hearted people don’t mix well with Cold-hearted people. Jesus foretold in Matthew 24:12 of the days when many people would become cold-hearted because of iniquity (Greek, “injustice”). We see this much today. With all the blatant crimes being committed by the U.S. government—the illegal war in Iraq, the theft of trillions-of-dollars of taxpayer money, our nations borders deliberately being unguarded, a Communist president, et cetera—many Americans have become angry, tired and thin-skinned. It’s a rat-race in America.

Here is an easy way to remember the rapture as taught by the faithful man of God, Dr. Jack Hyles:

Jesus came to earth the first time “TO” His own approximately 2,000 years ago

Jesus is coming at the rapture “FOR” His own

Jesus is coming again at the second coming “WITH” His own

I’ve never heard it said any simpler than that. Jesus will come again at the Rapture FOR His own (i.e., for all the Saints throughout history). The dead in Christ shall be raised first and then Christians who are alive will be changed. Personally, I do not believe that the entire Rapture will occur in less than a second. I believe that the Bible is teaching that we as INDIVIDUALS will be changed in less than a second. The trumpet, voice of the archangel, raising of the dead first, and then the living, may be a significantly longer time. Howbeit, we know that we WILL BE CHANGED in the twinkling of an eye.

Jude 1:14 says, “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.” The Lord will return with tens-of-thousands of His saints at the Second Coming. This event occurs 7-years AFTER the Rapture of the Saints. In order for us to return WITH the Lord, we have to first be WITH the Lord. This is further evidence of a Pretribulation Rapture.

Again, an easy way to remember this is:

Jesus came 2,000 years ago TO His own.
He is coming at the Rapture FOR His own.
Jesus will return at the Second Coming WITH His own.
Clearly, we will be with the Lord when he returns at the Second Coming.

It is clear from the following passage of Scripture that the Lord is returning FOR His saints at the Rapture…

In contrast, the Lord will be returning WITH His own at the end of the Tribulation period, to reign from Jerusalem as King over the earth (Isaiah 24:23; Micah 4:7). 2nd Thessalonians 2:3 clearly states that there must first come… “a falling away” before the Antichrist will be revealed. I believe these words, “a falling away,” refer to the Rapture when the Saints are “caught away” from the earth. If we accept the Word of God at face value, I cannot see how anyone can conclude anything but a Pretribulation Rapture.

Imminent Return Of Christ Intended To Keep Believers On Their Toes

The whole purpose of the Bible not announcing WHEN the Lord will return is to maintain the element of surprise. Luke 12:37 and 39-40 “Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching … And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” In total disregard for the imminent and sudden return of Jesus Christ, Pastor Steve Anderson foolishly states…

“The Rapture simply cannot happen at any moment.”
—Pastor Steven L. Anderson, from his video titled, AFTER THE TRIBULATION (01:27:05 video)

To say that Jesus’ return is not imminent is heresy. To say that Jesus cannot return immediately and suddenly without warning is to totally contradict the Bible. The whole idea behind “secrecy” is to keep believers on our toes. Anderson plainly rebukes the idea of a “secret Rapture,” but this is the plain and bold teaching of the Word of God. Mark 13:32, “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” Could the Bible be any plainer? After the Abomination of Desolation (Daniel 9:27 and 12:11 – the event when the Antichrist claims to be God from the temple in Jerusalem) it will be exact 3 1/2 years until Christ’s Second Coming. Yet, Jesus said that NO MAN KNOWETH when He shall return, which plainly indicates the Rapture…

Mark 13:32-37, “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

This clearly CANNOT refer to Christ’s Second Coming because the TIMING of these events can easily be known. If the Lord cannot return at any time at the Rapture as Brother Anderson teaches, then what would be the purpose to “WATCH?” Obviously, there would be no reason nor motivation to watch. If all the horrific events of the Tribulation must happen first, then it will be quite clear to Christians who are watching WHEN the Lord will return.

Here are some helpful words from the great man of God, author of over 200 books and mighty evangelist, Dr. John R. Rice (1895-1980) concerning the PRETRIBULATION Rapture…

II. No One Knows Even Approximately When Jesus Will Come

In the Olivet discourse the Saviour discusses the second coming. The clearest point in all His teaching on the second coming is that no one knows when it will be. Consider Mark 13:32-37:

“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cock crowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

Now observe the clear teaching of the Saviour that no man can know the time:

The angels do not know when Jesus will come.
The Lord Jesus Himself while on earth did not know when He would return.
Jesus said His second coming was so wholly unpredictable that it was illustrated by the servants waiting for their master’s return. The master might come in the evening, midnight, cock-crowing or in the morning. In this world no one can foretell even approximately when Jesus will return and when this age will end. If the more than nineteen hundred years which have already elapsed since Christ promised to return be divided up into four watches or periods to represent evening, midnight, cock-crowing and morning, we find that Jesus is saying that no one can know even within centuries of the time of His return.
The all-important teaching of Jesus about His return is that He may come at any moment. His coming is imminent.

SOURCE: Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980), chapter 3 from the excellent book, We Can Have Revival Now.

      THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION

Read the Book of Revelation and all the horrible things which are going to happen during the 7-Year Tribulation (Revelation Chapters 6-13). One can only come to the logical conclusion that such events WOULD be a definite giveaway concerning the time when the Lord is going to return. Daniel prophesied concerned an event known as THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION… “And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days” (Daniel 9:27 and 12:11; see also Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14).

The Bible teaches that 3 1/2 years of time will follow this blasphemous act by the Antichrist, which means that everyone who understood the Bible would know EXACTLY when Jesus Christ would return. This goes 100% contrary to the plain statement of Jesus in Mark 13:33, “Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” This is strong evidence in support of a Pretribulation Rapture.

The events prophesied to occur in the 7-year Tribulation period are extremely SPECIFIC. Yet, the Bible plainly states repeatedly that the Lord will return as a “thief in the night” (1st Thessalonians 5:2).

      A Post-Tribulation Or Mid-Tribulation Rapture is Illogical

The Bible clearly teaches that there will be a judgment for all believers at the Judgment Seat of Christ (2nd Corinthians 5:10). The Bible also teaches that there will be the Marriage Supper of the Lamb for all believers (Revelation 19:9). If the Rapture isn’t going to happen until DURING or AFTER the Tribulation, then when do these events occur?

A Post-Tribulation Rapture theory creates a serious dilemma in that there will be no time for the Judgment Seat of Christ nor the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. It is logical that the Rapture must occur BEFORE the Tribulation; and the Tribulation must occur BEFORE the Millennial reign of Christ from Jerusalem.

Here are 28 differences between the Rapture and Christ’s Second Coming

      What about a “Split Rapture”?

Though I greatly admire him, Pastor J. Vernon McGee believed in a “split rapture.” Pastor McGee was a Presbyterian minister for many decades, faithfully serving the Lord. Nevertheless, there is no such teaching of a “split rapture” found in the Bible. Pastor McGee taught that ONLY the New Testament saints would be raptured at the beginning of the Tribulation, and then the Old Testament saints would be raptured after the Tribulation.

Again, I find no such teaching in the Bible. We are taught in 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 that the “dead in Christ” would be raised first. Well, the Old Testament saints are all dead (except Enoch and Elijah who apparently never died a physical death). They will more than likely be the two prophets slain in Revelation. Hebrews 9:27 declares that all men must die… “It is appointed unto men once to die.”

Thus, Old Testament saints will be raised up at the Rapture when Jesus returns FOR His own before the Tribulation. There is no reason to believe that Old Testament saints will be raised up at a different resurrection than New Testament saints. Revelation 20:6 plainly states… “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power…” The FIRST resurrection is for all believers. The SECOND resurrection is only for the unsaved, the wicked (Revelation 20:11-15).

There is nothing Biblical about a split-rapture theory.

      Rapture Versus Second Coming

The following Scripture speaks of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ…

“And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.” —2nd Thessalonians 1:7,8

This will be at the Second Coming when Jesus returns WITH His saints and angels to fight the Battle of Armageddon in the valley of Megiddo (in Palestine). This is in sharp contrast to all the other Scriptures about the trumpet, the voice of the archangel, being changed in the twinkling of an eye and meeting in the clouds. Clearly we are looking at two separate events here; namely, the Rapture versus the Second Coming. A Postribulation position places BOTH events as happening simultaneously. This is illogical.

When Jesus comes FOR us at the Rapture, we will be caught up into the clouds.
When Jesus returns WITH us at the Second Coming, we will return to the earth.
If the Postribulation theory holds true, then the Judgment Seat of Christ, Marriage Supper of the Lamb, Battle of Armageddon, Judgment of the Nations, and other prophecies would all have to occur simultaneously, which makes no sense at all. Why would believers be Raptured into the clouds to meet with the Lord just to turn around and come right back to the earth? It makes much more sense to accept the Bible as literal, and conclude that the Rapture of the Church will occur 7-years prior to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to the earth.

At the Second Coming Jesus will return to put down the Antichrist, judge the nations, and then establish His Millennial Kingdom to reign upon the earth for 1,000 years. What a time that will be!!! It is clear to me, and I think to any honest Bible student, that the events surrounding the Rapture vers

Great article. Thank you for clearing it up for all those who have not taken the time to study this subject.

    • Slayden

Oh please not this argument again, after reading through all the comments from people on this site about pre trib vs post trib i just lost all hope for humanity

    • Dianne

Allison, I’m glad that you see the TRUTH CLEARLY about the end times. Beware the NO MAN DECEIVES YOU. You are already fully aware of what GOD has revealed in HIS word to be absolute TRUTH. John Nelson Darby started the pre-tribulation rapture teaching in 1830. Margaret MacDonald also bought into this lie. God Bless you

      • Sam Fox

Dianne, it was MacDonald’s vision that influenced Darby. Darby came to USA & Schofield put the junk in the Schofield Bible. The deception spread in the USA mostly from there. I have a Schofield Bible around here some where. A book, The Incredible Cover Up, exposes the origins of the false teaching & has reprinted MacDonald’s own handwritten account of her vision, the one that led to what we hear called the pre-tribulation rapture.

Dave McPherson wrote the book. He traveled Scotland, England & other countries in his research. I have the book here, next to me. It was copyrighted in 1975 by Logos International & reprinted in 1980. If I had a scanner I’d put up Margaret’s vision.

Dave McPherson did a lot of research & he exposes where the PTR deception came from. Dave did the church a huge service. At least to those of us who can take Jesus’ own words over what has been formulated by man.

        SamFox

        • Dianne

Thanks Sam Fox,I’ve read about Margaret MacDonald’s vision. People on this website REFUSE to see the TRUTH that is written in GOD’s word without taking scriptures out of context to fit their separate rapture and second coming of Christ erroneous teaching.

      • Heather

If the rapture happens at the end of the tribulation, who will replenish the earth during the time of the Millennium? ? ? ? ?

      • Kiwiwatcher

Dianne, Sam F – without delving any further into the writings of the early Church fathers, please cast your eyes upon the writings of Joseph Mede (1586-1638) which were formally published in 1672 “The Works of Joseph Mede”

And let me know WHY YOU believe that John Nelson Darby started the pre-tribulation rapture teaching in 1830.

“I will add this more, namely, what may be conceived to be the cause of this RAPTURE of the saints on high to meet the Lord in the clouds, rather than to wait his coming to earth….What if it be, that they may be PRESERVED during the Conflagration of the earth and the works thereof, 2 Pet.3:10, that as Noah and his family were preserved from the Deluge by being lift up above the waters in the Ark; so should the saints at the Conflagration be lift up in the clouds unto their Ark, Christ, to be preserved there from the deluge of fire, wherein the wicked shall be consumed?” – book 3 pg 617

And to all the other scoffers and John Darby clowns – put up or SHUT UP. You know so little about your utterances. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God….”

Cease from your vain babblings, your own delusions, cherry picking from evil/satanic and deceptive websites, and turning away from the TRUTH.

        • Kiwiwatcher

Will clarify – John Darby “clowns” is a reference to people who “follow a man” or “follow a website,” or straw-clutching fanatics who propose that a particular thought process resulted from the teachings of one man.

John Darby is unknown to me, while I am aware of references to him. He could be a great Bible pastor – I have no idea, as he does not feature in my Bible nor does he attend any of my fellowship meetings.

      • Skywatcher

Dianne, you said, “Beware the NO MAN DECEIVES YOU.” You folks have been seriously deceived, and let me prove it to you a little ways down. Dianne, Allison, and the rest of you SDA’s or those leaning in that direction, I really do want to disillusion you! Your’e ALL wrong! I just hate it when a button tries to tell a cuff link that it is out of place, just because it’s in a hole the button believes it should be in! If you want to go through the Great Tribulation, then fill your boots. As for the rest of us Christians, we’re not in any need of “cuff links”! Robes don’t require them, and perhaps the same can be said for you “buttons”, who spew great vitriol towards us who fully understand the Scriptures, seeing you give NO Scriptural evidences for your positions. Let me give you some positions to consider. But first, why is it so difficult to believe in the Rapture concept, and yet it is easy for you (I assume), to believe that God could literally speak the world and the universe into place?!

Jesus Christ HIMSELF started the Rapture doctrine! Let’s give credit where it is due! Paul picked up on it in I Thess. 4: 13-18 and you folks tend to pass over those passages as though they don’t exist or that you believe they’re in the correct “hole” where you believe they fit into the grand prophetic scheme. To you, everybody who interprets the Scripture contrary to what you believe are all wrong because somebody lied to YOU and you swallowed it, hook, line, sinker, and BOAT! Let’s get on with the show! I’m getting excited, and at my age (56), too much of that may cause my faith to become sight that much sooner!

Read very carefully, John 14: 3, which states, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and RECEIVE you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

We must remember, Christ is a Jew, and He is speaking from a Jewish kingly perspective! John presents Christ as king in chp. 12.

Obviously, in terms of royalty, you do NOT understand what it means to be “received”. Pause for a moment to reflect upon Queen Esther’s experience as she pondered going before her husband without a royal invite! She could have been put to death!

When one went into the king’s throne room, they DARED NOT approach the king’s throne without the king extending his scepter of authority and power to them! His failure to do so, meant imminent and sudden death. Once his scepter was extended to them, they were “received” and they could approach him more closely, with relief, gladness, and joy. The very same emotions that will be running high when the Church is raptured (BODILY united with King Jesus for the very first time)!

In this text, we have the same kind of setting! Christ is coming back as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We are GOING TO HIM, where He is! He’s NOT coming to earth where we are! He remains suspended in the clouds of the air. During the Rapture, He DOES NOT touch the earth with His feet, as He does during the Second Coming, which sets off a whole series of events!

I believe at this time, it is appropriate to show the differences between the Rapture and the Second Coming, so that they are NOT mistaken to be one and the same event! They ARE NOT the same thing! Please travel with me as I attempt to show the differences, and then you can give Christ the glory for the wonderful idea of a rapture, to spare His bride from further bloodshed, torture, pain, suffering, etc., and to fulfill His promise. What promise?! I’m so glad you asked! He’s coming for a glorious Church…without spot or wrinkle! How can this be possible after she’s been beaten up and badly bruised in the Great Tribulation!

This doctrine is NOT from Darby, etc.! That was a heresy put out there by homosexual and occultist “translators” who produced the modern messes we call “newer translations”, but really are counterfeit bibles that came on the horizon in the mid-to late 50’s and onward!

“There are a number of contrasts to be drawn between the rapture (bodily translation) and the Second Coming which will show that they ARE NOT viewed as synonymous in Scripture. The fact of two separate programs is best seen by a number of contrasts drawn in Scripture between the two events.

(1.) The translation (rapture) entails the removal of all believers, while the Second Coming entails the appearing or manifestation of the Son.

        (2) The translation sees the saints caught up into the air, and in the Second Coming He returns to the earth and THEY COME WITH Him.

        (3) In the translation Christ comes to claim a bride, but in the Second Coming He returns with the bride.

        (4) The translation results in the removal of the Church and the inception of the tribulation, and the Second Coming results in the establishment of the millennial kingdom (after the tribulation).

        (5) The translation is imminent, while the Second Coming is preceded by a multitude of signs.

        (6) The translation brings a message of comfort, while the Second Coming is accompanied by a message of judgment.

        (7) The translation is related to the program for the Church, while the Second Coming is related to the program for Israel and the world.

        (8) The translation is a mystery, while the Second Coming is predicted in both Testaments.

        (9) At the translation believers are judged (rewarded), but at the Second Coming the Gentiles and Israel are judged (whether they be Christians or not and rewarded as such).

        (10) The translation leaves creation unchanged, while the Second Coming entails the change in creation.

        (11) At the translation Gentiles are unaffected, while at the Second Coming Gentiles are judged.

        (12) At the translation Israel’s covenants are unfulfilled, but at the Second Coming all her covenants are fulfilled.

        (13) The translation has no particular relation to the program of God in relation to evil, while at the Second Coming evil is judged.

        (14) The translation is said to take place before the day of wrath, but the Second Coming follows it.

        (15) The translation is for believers only, but the Second Coming has its effect on all men.

        (16) The expectation of the Church in regard to the translation is “the Lord is at hand” (Phil. 4: 5), while the expectation of Israel in regard to the Second Coming is “the kingdom is at hand” (Matt. 24:14).

        (17) The expectation of the Church at the translation is to be taken into the Lord’s presence, while the expectation of Israel at the Second Coming is to be taken into the kingdom. (W. E. Blackstone, Jesus Is Coming, New York: Fleming H. Revell, 1932, pp. 75-80)

These, and other contrasts which might be presented, support the contention that these are two different programs and can not be unified into one event.”

Dr. J. Dwight Pentecost, “Things to Come…A Study in Biblical Eschatology, Zondervan Publishing House, 1977, p. 206, 207. (Emphasis mine)

The rapture happens before (pre) tribulation (day of wrath, as mentioned in point #14) and there’s no denying that after one has examined very diligently ALL the evidence.

I put my trust in the sages who’ve spent all their adult lives researching the Scriptures and other Holy Writs of the Church; they’ve debated the issue to death and reached their own conclusions based upon all the evidence, not upon what they hoped for. They have diligently studied the Scriptures, the Jewish customs, cultures, traditions, politics, social structure, etc. to a much greater depth than most of us have the time or desire to do for ourselves.

We need to thank God for these people who sacrificed their lives to uncover these very precious doctrinal truths; many have died for them, so that we could have them! Burned at the stake, disemboweled, tortured, tarred, feathered and burned; severed limb from limb, beheaded, etc. Quite the price to pay to defend the truths that they had received from the hand of the Lord; all of His disciples were put to death for their faith in Him except for one. They physically walked and talked with Him; He made sure they understood what the message was that He wanted them to assist in promoting and preserving! After all, Christ gave His most valuable gift (His life) for the Church, who commits to live for Him!

I trust this will lend to a clearer understanding!

        Blessings!

Sorry Skywatcher, but I will not drink your pre-tribulation rapture kool aid no matter how you serve it up and I am not a SDA OR SDA leaning individual. I read my bible and understand it from the way it is CLEARLY written with the help and guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT. Mathew 24 and the book of Revelation as well as many other scriptures that I have been studying for more than 3 decades. These scriptures support what I believe so don’t try and be the HOLY SPIRIT because I’m not buying what you are selling. We will just have to agree to disagree and move on. God Bless you.

          • Skywatcher

Dianne, your tongue drips with toxic venom and that’s not from the Lord Jesus Christ, and it’s definitely not of the Holy Spirit. You presented a rebellious spirit that is NOT of God. I don’t mean to insult you or to belittle you, as you have done that on this forum quite well all by yourself. You have slipped up and shown a very rebellious spirit toward those who try to lovingly show you why your position does NOT line up with God’s Word. Instead of considering the vast amount of argument for a Pre-trib rapture I gave you, you foolishly chose to ignore it and to paint me up as some kind of drugged-down “kool aid” drinking dummy. Thanks, “sister”(?)!

If you were wise and somewhat educated in the field, you could’ve taken each point I presented and given ALL OF US on this forum a scholarly rebuttal, but you didn’t because you couldn’t! Way to go, Sherlock! You came out of the starting gate pretty strong, but you came far from winning…

What you have done here reminds me of Prov. 1: 7, “…but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

I gave you very carefully thought out, researched and clearly delivered information out of a very good theology text book that laid everything out for you, in very understandable English, and then YOU accuse ME of trying to “be the HOLY SPIRIT”! That’s funny and sad at the same time. Does that kind of attitude glorify or please God? You be the judge.

One can easily take any Scriptures out of context that they want to use to come up with an errant teaching! All you have to do is miss one or two very important/key verses pertaining to the topic and it throws the end product out of line. Apparently, that’s what you have done. We have to take ALL the Scriptures in their proper context. And you know, this may be a humbling experience for you, but a worthwhile one: Don’t be so quick to shoot others down when you feel slighted, cornered, or challenged. They might just be right, and you could learn a little something more from them! Just sayin’. 🙂

This website is in error. He says that Revelation 12:6 speaks of the JEW. NO MENTION OF THE WORD JEW IN THIS SCRIPTURE ANYWHERE. No one should ever add to or take away from GOD’s word or read into something that is not WRITTEN and put their own interpretation to it. Trying to put together scripture out of context brings one into error.
2 Peter1:2 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation.

        • Mike au

          @ Dianne,

          Matthew 24:15-16(KJV)
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand
in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

          Revelation 12:5-6(KJV)
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all
nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up
unto God, and to his throne.

The women is Israel, she brought forth a man child (Jesus)
who will rule the nations with a rod of iron Rev 19:15.
Caught up to God, Luke 16:19

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath
a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a
thousand two hundred and threescore days.

The Women ( Israel- Jews) who heed the warning of Jesus
in Matthew 24:15-16 flee to the red rock city of Petra, where
they are protected by God for 1260 days. This is the time of
Jacobs trouble, the Jews that do not believe Jesus and remain
in Israel will suffer the consequences of the antichrist.

NTEB is correct, the women is Israel, it is the Jews who flee
          to the into the mountains.

        • Skywatcher

Well, Dianne, why don’t you practice what you preach! The word “Jew” may not have been specifically put into that verse “anywhere” for you, but it is plain as rain! Who do you think v. 5 is referring to? Madonna? It’s referring to the nation of Israel, and I do believe they are Jews.

May I suggest that you be a good Berean and leave the accusations to Satan… Once you’ve had a few minutes looking at the various topics that you really enjoy, then you can correctly determine if your position is correct or not.

Two really great theology books that are easy and fun to read are Dwight Pentecost’s “Things To Come”, and Henry Thiessen’s excellent book, “Lectures in Systematic Theology”, wherein, both of these theology scholars take you step by step, proving with Scripture, how and why the various arguments for and against numerous topics/positions either work or they don’t! They’re not very expensive, but worth their weight in platinum! You’ll be more than glad you did! The best part of these authors is that they DO NOT attempt to put their own particular spin on their findings. They examine all the evidences and then come to an accurate and Biblical conclusion.

        David,

Word of God, refutations. I only listed a few.

Parable of wheat & darnel. Tares in KJ.

        Matthew 13:30
Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will say to the reapers, Gather the darnel first and bind it in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my granary.

        Matthew 13:36
Then He left the throngs and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him saying, Explain to us the parable of the darnel in the field.

        Matthew 13:38
The field is the world, and the good seed means the children of the kingdom; the darnel is the children of the evil one,

        Matthew 13:40
Just as the darnel (weeds resembling wheat) is gathered and burned with fire, so it will be at the close of the age.

Jesus’ ‘last day’ statements. Do HIS OWN WORDS mean anything any more?

        John 6:39
And this is the will of Him Who sent Me, that I should not lose any of all that He has given Me, but that I should give new life and raise [them all] up at the last day.

        John 6:40
For this is My Father’s will and His purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day.

        John 6:44
No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me, and [then] I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day.

        John 11:24
Martha replied, I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

There is NO indication in these verses of a 2 stage 2nd advent of any kind. Either your ’16 proofs’ are false & man conceived, or the Word of God is true. You decide. It’s going to take a LOT of song & dance to jam the PTR into what Jesus HIMSELF said. Case in point: Jesus Himself said “EVERYONE who sees the Son and believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] AT THE LAST DAY.”

Jesus’ last day words totally eliminate the possibility of any Christian being left behind. The above parable eliminates the possibility of a 2 stage 2nd advent. You can choose to believe the man made, totally esigesis based PTR or the plain language of the Son of God. You choose.

Allison, if the rapture happens at the end of the tribulation, who will populate the millennium?

Isaiah 65 describes this time of better conditions. Verse 20 says,

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

From this verse we see that people live longer. But some still die. Death is not yet erased. During the millennium people will be walking around on the face of this planet with natural bodies, subject to decay and death which we all inherited from Adam. Where do these people come from?

Who are these people in natural bodies?

Are they present-day Christians? No, these people cannot be present-day Christians. The split-second that Christ returns we Christians will lose our natural bodies and gain immortal bodies.

Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality (1 Corinthians 15:51–53).

       Thessalonians 4:16–17

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

At the rapture we Christians are caught up into the clouds to meet Christ and at the same moment He transforms our bodies. So if people are still walking around on earth with natural bodies after the return of Christ, where do they come from?

Are they present-day non-Christians? Absolutely not, they cannot be present-day non-Christians! Here is a long list of verses which prove that no unbeliever will enter the millennium.

Corinthians 6:9-11 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Psalm 2:12: Kiss the Son, let he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little.

Zephaniah 3:9: For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.

Malachi 4:1: For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and allthat do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Matthew 13:41: The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity.

Matthew 24:51: [The Lord of the evil servant] shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25:12: [To the foolish virgins] He answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Matthew 25:30: And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Luke 17:29: But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Luke 17:27b: [Noah] entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Luke 17:32–33: Remember Lot’s wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

1 Thessalonians 5:3: For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape [strong dual negative in the Greek].

2 Thessalonians 1:7b–8; 2:12: When the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ … That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Again I ask, who replenishes the earth and has babies? If the raptures happens at the end of the tribulation, then there would be no earthly bodies entering into the 1000 year Millennium.

      • Slayden

        Have babies in the millenium??

        • Skywatcher

Slayden, there will have babies in the Millennium, and they won’t be aborted either! Don’t forget…there are still people who have made it through the horrors of the G. Trib. and they will be conducting life as per usual, although under the control of Christ Almighty and His new world order! He rules with a rod of iron at this time, and EVERY knee bows to Him, whether they want to or not. It will be the world with peace as it has been crying out for for thousands of years! They will rightfully be singing, “Joy to the world, the Lord has come”! Today, that beautiful Christmas carol is not scriptural, because He has Not come, the world is not being ruled by Him at present, etc. But then…oh! What a time that’s going to be! There will be perfect babies being born without illnesses or defects as so many of them are today! Won’t that be wonderful?!

        • Mike au

          @ Slayden

That’s correct “babies in the millennium” the world will be
populated by human believers who go to worship the King.
They also keep the fest of tabernacles. The KING IS JESUS !

          Zechariah 14:16-17(KJV)
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all
the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up
from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and
to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families
of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts,
even upon them shall be no rain.

          • Heather

Slayden, when you get a chance, read the book of Isaiah. In different parts of it there are some wonderful descriptions of the Millineal Kingdom.

Because the earth’s population has been decimated by the events of the Great Tribulation, those in the Millennium will witness a large increase in the birth rate. In the book of Jeremiah 30:19-21 the Lord says,

19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.

****Matthew 25:31-46 describes the Lord Jesus separating those left of the nations who survived the G Tribulation. The righteous in physical form who are counted worthy, will enter into the Millineal Kingdom. They will have children and contribute to repopulating the earth. Those who are counted unworthy will be put to death.****

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

I thank God for the Jewish people. Indeed the whole has been mightily blessed through them.

who inhabits the 1,000 years while still in the tent body and flesh nature, a couple of several clues,
They will be ruled by Christ’s rod of iron, rev 2 and 19, psalms..
They are able to be deceived still, rev 20 and the devil is released one last time and they run off with him..
Able to be deceived and needed ruled over with a rod of iron, which shows they are still in a mortal body and flesh nature…

so will they be blood bought Holy Spirit filled born again in Christ believers? No.
Because rev 20 describes and details the 1st resurrection, the 2nd death has no power over those ones then, couple this with 1st corinthians 15 and mortal having put on immortal and corruptible having put on incorruptible, all that took place at the 1st resurrection which takes place at the beginning of the 1,000 years, those believers are then not in the flesh body and nature of during the 1,000 years, are incorruptible and now immortal unlike those of rev 20 who run off with the devil one last time.

Are there people today who think that somehow their going to survive the tribulation and refuse the mark and worship and yet refuse Christ or they think that based on their own merit their somehow approved by God? yes.
A HORRIBLE course and gamble and path to attempt, if they fail to survive the trib, to die without Christ is to truly perish for eternity, and then even if somehow they survived they still likely fall to the final release and deception of rev 20 and the devils last rebellion against God.

rev 19 and Christ returns and all who took the mark are done in then..but had any not taken the mark nor worshiped the beast yet are still without Christ? they will go into the 1,000 years.
rev 13:8, the whole world=all not in Christ book, but does whole mean to the last person? or vast majority? There are many verses which show Christ judging the ‘nations’ and swords into plow shares people having children and if anyone dies at age 100 their considered an infant in age and all nations come annually to jerusalem to worship Christ and if they don’t the plagues of egypt fall on them etc etc (and never say’s the nations are populated with the numbers they are today and rev 19 shows all who took the mark are now done away with), yet we can see that someone is still around that needs ruled with a rod and can be deceived to follow the devil still, who didn’t have a part in the 1st resurrection.

    • Mimi

I hope these help you. I once was where you were. My church just didn’t train me correctly. Thank goodness I got our of its false doctrine before it was too late. THE RAPTURE IS IN THE BIBLE
[This section is BASIC UNDERSTANDING, but I MUST include it. Some people DENY the Rapture because THE WORD is not found in our English translations of the Bible.]

The argument that the Rapture isn’t found in the Bible is false.
Rapture is from the Latin “rapere” or “rapturo” which is INDEED found in the Latin Vulgate Version of the Bible. It’s from this Latin root that we get our English word “raptor.” A raptor (eagle, osprey, hawk, owl) swoops down from above to suddenly “snatch up” its dinner with force. In the rapture, Jesus will descend into the air and suddenly “snatch up” His Church to Himself with THE FORCE of His words, “Come up here” (which is seen in Revelation 4:1).
The Greek word for the Rapture is “harpazo” which is translated as “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. The literal definition of “harpazo” is to catch up and away, to pluck up, to take by force.
While “the word” Rapture is not found in our English translations of the Bible, it is INDEED there as “caught up” and in THE ACTION displayed IN that event!
The famous Rapture scriptures are these: the promise of it in John 14:1-3, the Old Testament description of it in Isaiah 26:19-20, Paul’s teachings upon it in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 to 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, and in 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8.
The ACTIONS shown in Revelation 4:1 is a TYPE of the Rapture, present in the DISPLAYED ACTION, and IN the SEQUENCE of events–(occurring AFTER the testimony of the SEVEN CHURCHES in Revelation 2:1-29 and Revelation 3:1-22). “After” is DECLARED TWICE in Revelation 4:1 –“After these things” and “hereafter.” AFTER what things? AFTER the ministry of the SEVEN CHURCHES. When the “plain sense” makes “perfect sense” seek “no other sense.”

I can shed some light (not on the tax thing, but) on the pre-tribal rapture. .. there will actually be 2 raptures just as there were/are 2 Comings-of-Christ. One for the 5 virgins who were ready (firstfruits), and the 2nd for the 5 foolish virgins who weren’t ready (if they don’t get beheaded & if they make it to the end of the tribulation).

Does anyone actually believe that by imposing a tax, the “leaders” of this word can fine tune the climate to within a 1.5 degree, or a 2.0 degree or a 2.5 degree rise in average earth temperature in 50 years? I must admit I’ve believed some fairy stories in my time….but I’m not THIS gullible!

The events of luke 2 1:3 wasn’t a prophecy.it was an event that occurred.I believe the writer of this article knows d exact definition of a prophecy.
The event that took place in France that has to do with d signing of d climate change pact shouldn’t be termed as fulfillment of the prophecy in luke 2.

  • Brian

Luke 2:1-3 is a statement of a historical fact, not a prophecy of future events in the slightest. Caesar Augustus said, “Time to be taxed!” – So the people went to their city of family origin and paid the tax. End of story. There is already enough wrong with the world that we CAN verify from the Bible that we don’t need to exercise horrid eisegesis in some attempt to find more back-up for our position.

  • Rob

Global Warming is a hoax as we know. In a few years these liars will be patting each other on the back taking credit for fixing a problem that never existed in the first place. However if Global Warming were true and was caused by fossil fuels then the obvious step would be to immediately ban “All” not “Some” but ALL Fossil Fuels and go to the Green Alternatives. Paying Tax will do nothing to stop the increasing use of fossil fuels. This is a front for the adoption of Global Government by the rich and their corporations.
As for the 7 year Tribulation and pre Trib Rapture, neither of them are Biblical. The 7 year period is solely based on a misinterpretation of Daniels 70 weeks prophecy and the 70th week being erroneously separated from the previous 69 weeks. This 70 week prophecy was fulfilled in Jesus.

  • Rob

While Luke 2 may not be a prophecy about a future tax, the phenomenon occurring again as it did then is a very interesting point to take note of. Events with similarity to Christs first coming should not be overlooked. The legalized murder of babies through abortion and some promoting post abortion brings the similarities of these 2 times together even more as a source of warning prior to Christs second coming.

    • sagat

True that. I don’t believe in “global warming” or “climate change” as what is happening now with rains, earthquakes, tornadoes etc are all signs of Christ coming. The earth is in pain and all these signs must be fulfilled. See Matthew 24:8

  • Dan

All it takes for evil to spread is for good men to do nothing.

  • Martus

There is a Pre Tribulation, a Mid Tribulation Rapture and a Post Tribulation Rapture!!!

Jesus tells us to watch and be ready because He will save us from the destruction to come.

There is a Pre Tribulation rapture which is the first watch and will take faithful Christian believers off the Earth and away from danger.

There is a Mid Tribulation rapture which is the second watch which will take the 144000 witnesses of Israel from the Earth who were sealed at the first watch 1260 days before the end of the 7 year tribulation main rapture.

Lastly there is the third watch which is a general rapture of the remainder of God’s people at the end of the Tribulation and then the fallen angels in Heaven will be thrown out and hell bent on revenge will destroy all life on Earth.

Jesus will then return with those that have been saved so they can finish their life cycles and will be the 1000 year reign of the Messiah. Satan and the fallen angels will be locked up for this period and then Satan will be let loose to test those that people on the earth.

After that is judgement and eternity!

    Notice the sequence of events:

Jesus comes from a wedding feast so the first rapture/watch has occurred and He is coming for the Managers (The 144000 sealed witness of Israel who have been commissioned to feed God’s people with the word of God).

Those that are not faithful will not be taken and will receive the full punishment of the Tribulation.

    Luke 12:36-48Young’s Literal Translation (YLT)

36 and ye like to men waiting for their lord, when he shall return out of the
wedding feasts, that he having come and knocked, immediately they may
    open to him.

37 `Happy those servants, whom the lord, having come, shall find watching; verily
I say to you, that he will gird himself, and will cause them to recline
    (at meat), and having come near, will minister to them;

38 and if he may come in the second watch, and in the third watch he may come, and may find [it] so, happy are those servants.

39 `And this know, that if the master of the house had known what hour the
thief doth come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his
    house to be broken through;

40 and ye, then, become ye ready, because at the hour ye think not, the Son of Man doth come.’

41 And Peter said to him, `Sir, unto us this simile dost thou speak, or also unto all?’

42 And the Lord said, `Who, then, is the faithful and prudent steward whom the
lord shall set over his household, to give in season the wheat measure?

    43 Happy that servant, whom his lord, having come, shall find doing so;

44 truly I say to you, that over all his goods he will set him.

45 `And if that servant may say in his heart, My lord doth delay to come, and
may begin to beat the men-servants and the maid-servants, to eat also,
    and to drink, and to be drunken;

46 the lord of that servant will come in a day in which he doth not look for
[him], and in an hour that he doth not know, and will cut him off, and
his portion with the unfaithful he will appoint.

47 `And that servant, who having known his lord’s will, and not having
prepared, nor having gone according to his will, shall be beaten with
    many stripes,

48 and he who, not having known, and having done things worthy of stripes,
shall be beaten with few; and to every one to whom much was given, much
shall be required from him; and to whom they did commit much, more
abundantly they will ask of him.

Other examples of the upcoming 3 Raptures are:

Jacob married 2 main wives and each wife had a servant who also became his wives. Jacob loved Rachel as God loved Israel and Rachel was married last as Israel will be raptured last. Jesus came as a servant and He came to serve His people – The Christian known as the Bride and He was Raptured with those that were saved out of Hades, the servant Bride of the Christians has occurred. There are 3 raptures to go. The main rapture of His Bride, The 144000 Witnesses servants (son of the Woman (Israel) who was snatched to Heaven) and then Israel Herself- in Revelations the Woman is described with the sun and the moon and 12 stars which we saw in Genesis representing Israel. Joseph had the dream of the sun and the moon and 11 stars bowing to him and the 12 star is of course Joseph. Israel has also being referred to as God’s unfaithful wife.

The other passage where we see the 4 rapture is in the Books of Moses where the priest were told to offer up the firstfruit of the Barley to God and then latter the main Barley Harvest could be taken and then later the firstfruit of the Wheat and then the rest of the Wheat could be taken. Jesus said He was the firstfruit and was raptured to Heaven so the main Barley (Christians -Bride) is yet to be taken, again the firstfruit of Israel (the 144000 of Israel) will be taken before the main body of Israel and the remainder of God’s people will be taken.

Once the last Rapture has occurred the Satan and the fallen angels will be thrown out of Heaven and will destroy the life on it – the grape harvest!

I believe the 7 year Tribulation is based on the near earth orbit of Apophis in April13 2022 to April 13 2029. Daniel not only mentions a rock destroying the statue representing the kingdoms of the world but also 7 year time cycles. At the end of a 42 * 7 year cycle the Messiah was cut off. When Jesus was crucified there was darkness for 3 hours and an earthquake and also April is the time of Passover, the time the angel of death passed over in Mosses time.

United Nations Beast Described in the Bible!

The 4th beast of Daniel consumes the whole world – the United Nations, so the first 3 beast must be a part of the 4th beast. The first beast of Daniels is a Lion who gets it’s eagle wings ripped of represents the U.S. (eagle wings) war of independents from England (the lion). Then the Lion stands up like a man and a mind of a man is given to it, this Lion Man is also shown in Revelation in the number of the Beast is also the number of a man and that number is 666. The 2nd beast that comes up is the bear which represents the Russian Fed and the third beast that comes up is the 4 headed leopard representing the E.U. (The 4 headed Leopard with 2 sets of wings represent 6 countries, the 2 sets of wings represent the Germany wings and the Roman wings -Italy, the 4 leopard heads represent Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. These 6 countries formed the EEC which became the EU).

Revelation gives us a detail look at the United Nations security council. The first beast of Revelations is a mash up of a Lion, a bear, the 4 headed leopard and a dragon which is ridden by a woman. It is also described as a 7 headed beast with ten horns. The dragon waits for this beast to emerge from the sea of people and joins it. The 7 heads represent the Lion (England), the bear (Russian Fed), the 4 headed Leopard (France and the Benelux Union) and also the Dragon which is China. The Woman that rides this 7 headed beast is the U.S and the this woman represents the Statue of Liberty in New York city where the United Nations building is located and funded mostly by the U.S.. The security council is represented by these 7 heads (France representing 4 heads who founded the E.U.) and the U.S. who are the 5 permanent members of the security council who make the decision for the United Nations. 5 other position on the security council are for other members of the United Nations with 5 other member in training to take over those positions in the future – the 10 temporary kings of Revelation who give the beast their power for 1 hour.

I know there’s some painting/picture that’s supposed to represent the beast of daniel 7 and it has one head as a dragon, but does daniel 7 say one head is a dragon head? no.
A head diverse then the others with great iron teeth..maybe the head is iron and so the teeth?
It’s not entirely important really, until the idea that china is the dragon is put forth then it’s worth looking at.

So who is the dragon? rev 20:2-, rev 12-, rev 13-…all these will show that the dragon is not china, but satan.
In rev 13 we see the dragon empowers that beast, in luke 4 we see the dragon empowers whom he will, so the dragon is not waiting for the beast to join it but rather the beast is waiting for the dragon to empower it..

there are more verses which detail many things but yeah china is not the dragon satan himself is the dragon and that old painting might just as well depict the beast with one head of iron and teeth of iron as daniel 7 doesn’t say anything about a dragon head per se and the dragon wouldn’t be just one head among many heads, the dragon is THE head/leader of that whole side/kingdom, the dragon being the devil.

rev 16 (kings of the east) as well as rev 19 (all the kings gathered there to fight Christ) shows what the easterns as well as all of the world get themselves into.
Rev 19 also shows what a great day that is! :)) rejoice in Christ always!

One group left out of all these opinions is Israel. We Gentiles think way too highly of ourselves anyway and, who is the Bible all about? First it’s about God the Father and Son with His Holy Spirit given in the Gospels to Jews after faith. The chosen people of God, the Hebrews, Jews, the nation, Israel – whatever you choose to call them are the people most discussed in the Bible. The tail of the dog is Gentiles. God’s word is devoted to His acts, signs, and wonders presented first by the Jewish prophets of old, then the Son of God who we call Christ but who is more prominently known as the Messiah, given to the people Israel. This differentiation must be noted! The Bible isn’t entirely about Gentiles, it’s about Israel and so is the tribulation, the purpose of which is to bring Israel to repentance – we Gentiles are truly blessed since we’ve not endured the trials and testings God applied to the nation Israel for its wanderings and idolatry, even sacrificing its own children to Moloch.
The epistles of Paul are written to us but it should also be noted all Scripture is applicable; for example Paul wrote to the Romans, at least half or more of that letter was to the Jews in Rome, distinctions must be made in reading the letter to the Romans as some of those statements which Paul made are addressed to Jews who have lived under the Law, that’s a lot of what the letter to Rome is about.
So, let’s don’t forget Israel, quit making application to yourselves as Gentiles and remember to whom the Bible was written FIRST. OK? We are people of faith solely by the grace of God and not our own works. Pre trib rapture? Maybe, I’ve seen no definitive proof from Darby or Scofield or anyone else, including pre, mid, or post. If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. (Col.3:1 ESV) Good advice to we Gentile believers. We are not dropouts, so while we may focus on Christ seated, we have our work to do.

Perhaps soon it will be time to think about buying some good bikes before the prices on them sky rocket.

    Geoffrey Grider!
I want to commend you for seeing things that most of us miss. Thank God for that.
I always considered climate change legislation as a means for control. And in many ways taxation is just that. But I didn’t see the connection between Jesus’ first coming with His second in this legislation. Thank you so much for pointing it out. He is surely coming soon for His bride.
    MARANATHA!!!
    Blessings:-}

Geoffrey, I laughed out loud when I read your opening Scripture text! I never ever connected the dots before, and as some have stated, I’m not so sure I should be at the moment. Luke 2: 1-3 is actually fulfillment of prophecy relating to Christ’s birth and not predicting a global tax, at least that has been my understanding for almost half a century.

However, I’m so annoyed at how people are so easily duped into believing everything but the truth these days! I’m equally annoyed that we don’t have plebiscites on major issues that affect all of us. Whilst reading your article, I had a thought…it’s too bad that God wouldn’t just set off a huge earthquake one of these days when all these ego-maniacal twits are gathered in one place, open the ground and swallow them up…once and for all! What a message that would send off to the world! It would be like, “Don’t mess with Me! I know when it’s time to dump the garbage” and oops, there they go now!

  • Skywatcher

If they were REALLY so concerned about “global warming”, they would ban clear-cutting of our forests! Their canopy provides shade and coolness! Their roots draw up the water table so we can access it! Duh! More trees and shrubs would combat this monstrous issue they’ve created. They take in our carbon dioxide and convert it into oxygen! It’s extremely convenient that they have places like China to use as their trophy to promote their fudged science and propaganda! The gullibility and stupidity of the human bio-mass never ceases to amaze me! I can see why a huge percentage of human population gets wiped out during the G.T…God is sick and tired of their stupidity and poor stewardship of what He has blessed us with, intending it to be for our good.
