Like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, ultra-wideband (UWB) is a short-range, wireless communication protocol that operates through radio waves. But unlike its counterparts, it operates at very high frequencies — a broad spectrum of GHz frequencies — and can be used to capture highly accurate spatial and directional data.

In order for something like the Mark of the Beast to function well and be effective as it’s allowing you access to global ‘buying and selling’, it’s going to take a superior wireless technology to power it. The internet and social media didn’t really come into its own until broadband internet was available to most people. Remember when downloading a 5MGB file was an occasion to leave, get a cup of coffee and come back? I sure do. Now no one bats an eye sharing 100MGB videos through standard text messaging. Ultra-Wideband Technology is going to be a paradigm shift in how we use not only the internet, but the internet of things.

One of the main agendas of the COVID lockdowns was to drive the bulk of the world’s workforce into virtual meetings and conversations, and to mentally prepare people for avatar-based interactions. The spirit of Antichrist is working to separate and isolate people, driving them into the Metaverse which already exists on many levels. Social media is a mission field, and that’s exactly how we use it here at NTEB, but that will not be true of the Metaverse. The Metaverse and the Mark will go hand in hand, pun intended, and you would be wise to have nothing to do with it. What is ultra-wideband, and how does it work?

FROM SAMSUNG: Think of UWB as a continuously scanning radar that can precisely lock onto an object, discover its location and communicate with it. UWB is set to unlock a whole range of new consumer and enterprise applications. It has already been incorporated in Samsung’s Galaxy S21+ and S21 Ultra 5G and is now in the new Galaxy Z Fold3 5G. It is also likely to feature on a wider array of computing devices and internet of things (IoT) peripherals.

How does UWB work?

Once a UWB-enabled device like a smartphone, smartwatch, smart key or tile is near another UWB device, the devices start “ranging.” Ranging refers to calculating the time of flight (ToF) between devices: the roundtrip time of challenge/response packets. Using larger channel bandwidth (500MHz) with short pulses (two nanoseconds each), UWB achieves greater accuracy. The UWB positioning process instantaneously tracks the device’s movements in real-time. In doing so, UWB-enabled devices can understand both motion and relative position.

According to NXP, which produced the UWB chipset featured in the Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G, UWB delivers greater accuracy in line-of-site (LoS) and strong localization in non-line-of-sight (nLoS) scenarios — and is capable of managing environments in which numerous walls, people and other obstacles would typically block these signals. Using angle-of-arrival (AoA) technology, the real-time accuracy of UWB measurements provides highly precise device location services at the centimeter level. Not only that, UWB devices can also determine whether an object is stationary, moving closer or moving away.

Faced with fighting a global pandemic that shows no signs of letting up, organizations in multiple verticals are beginning to use shirt-distance, low-power Ultra-Wideband (UWB) radio technology to power their social distancing and contact tracing operations today. READ MORE

For example, UWB-enabled systems know if you’re approaching a locked door and can determine if you’re inside or outside the doorway. They can also decide whether the lock should be engaged when you reach a specific position. In a real-world scenario, UWB could open the garage as your car approaches and unlock the door to your house as you near the entryway.

How is UWB different from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth?

When we think about wireless connectivity technology, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi usually come to mind. But these technologies lack the accuracy, positioning capabilities and radio frequency security available with UWB. Most wireless connectivity technologies can technically provide ranging, but UWB’s performance is far superior.

UWB also operates in a separate section of the radio spectrum, away from congested bands clustered around 2.4GHz. What’s more, UWB can coexist with other popular wireless technologies like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and near-field communication (NFC).

One of UWB’s most significant advantages is the added portion of the physical layer (PHY), used to send and receive data packets. With this layer, currently being specified in IEEE 802.15.4z, a critical security extension not available in other technologies can be leveraged, allowing for security techniques such as cryptography and random number generation that deter attackers from accessing UWB communications.

What can we expect from UWB in the future?

UWB is still a new technology, and the companies working on it are just getting started. The FiRa Consortium, of which Samsung is a member, has been focused on promoting adoption of UWB technology and advancing updates to the UWB standards and certification programs to ensure interoperability.

There are already a few exciting applications in the Samsung Galaxy lineup that leverage UWB. For example, the new Nearby Share app for device-to-device file transfers is enhanced by the use of UWB. By simply pointing your phone at another UWB-equipped device, Nearby Share automatically lists that device at the top of your sharing panel.

Samsung has also integrated UWB into its SmartThings Find application. Using augmented reality (AR) and intuitive directions, you can precisely locate other UWB-equipped devices. And as Samsung announced at its January 2021 Unpacked, the new Galaxy SmartTag+ will feature UWB and can attach to almost any item, so you can even track belongings that don’t have their own built-in connection.

“Thanks to UWB and AR finder, the Galaxy SmartTag+ will help you locate your belongings with unprecedented accuracy by guiding you to their location,” explained Elizabeth Lindstrom from Samsung’s Global Direct to Consumer Center.

With these UWB-enabled smartphones, you can also use AR finder to drop virtual messages that let other Galaxy smartphone users know you need help searching for a lost item. READ MORE

Neither decimated nor obliterated, Iran downs American warplanes and exposes the lie that this widening World War Trump is under control

For weeks now, the American people have been told that Iran was “decimated” and “obliterated,” that its ability to resist had been shattered, and that overwhelming force had already reduced the enemy to rubble. But now the battlefield is answering back with a very different testimony. AP reported Friday that two U.S. military aircraft were shot down as the war escalated, including an F-15E over Iran with one crew member rescued and another still missing. The Washington Post likewise reported that a second U.S. aircraft, an A-10, was also brought down, even as American rescue operations intensified. That is not what “obliterated” looks like. Today marks the single worst day for World War Trump since the conflict began. It only gets worse from this point on, so buckle up.

As the skies darken overseas, the Pentagon is being thrown into visible turmoil at home. AP reported yesterday that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth asked Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to step down and also dismissed two other generals, adding to a broader pattern of removals among senior military leadership during this widening war. That is what makes this moment so dangerous. America is now watching a war grow more costly and less predictable at the exact same time that the military chain of command is being shaken at the top. Iran is proving it can still strike, still contest the fight, still bloody American power, while Hegseth is purging senior officers in the middle of a regional firestorm. That is not stability. That is not control. That is not confidence. That is a government trying to project strength while the structure underneath it visibly trembles. This is why a Fox News host is not fit to run the Pentagon.

What we are seeing is the same old lie that has dragged nations into disaster for generations. First comes the boasting. Then comes the inflated language. Then comes the media chorus repeating that victory is assured, the enemy is broken, and the situation is under control. But war has a way of stripping the paint off every official narrative. Jets fall. Men go missing. Rescue missions are launched. The enemy everyone said was finished keeps fighting. And suddenly all the slogans Trump has been feeding his base don’t sound so convincing anymore.

Hegseth’s role in this only sharpens the sense of disorder. You do not fire top generals in the middle of a shooting war and then expect the public to believe everything is proceeding calmly and according to plan. Maybe the administration calls it accountability. Maybe it calls it reform. But from the outside, it looks like upheaval at the summit while the battlefield below grows hotter by the hour. AP says more than a dozen military leaders have been removed in the past year under Hegseth’s tenure. By any fair standard of reckoning, that’s a purge.

The truly maddening part is that none of this should surprise anybody paying attention. Iran was never going to absorb repeated blows and simply disappear. A regime with missiles, air defenses, regional reach, hardened infrastructure, and ideological resolve was never going to be erased by chest-thumping rhetoric and triumphant press lines. The fantasy was always political. The reality is military. And now the military reality is tearing through the political fantasy in front of the whole world. AP has already reported other Iranian strikes during this war, including an attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia that wounded U.S. troops and damaged aircraft.

So yes, it’s safe to say that this war has taken a dark turn, a very dark turn.

Iran has shown itself to be neither “decimated” nor “obliterated.” It is battered, yes. Pressured, yes. Under attack, yes. But it is still capable of inflicting damage, still capable of challenging American power, and still capable of exposing how hollow the original boasts were. And while that reality unfolds abroad, Pete Hegseth is remaking the Department of War through abrupt removals that only deepen the impression of a war machine under strain.

The message from Washington is strength, command, and dominance, but the message from events is something very different: this thing is slipping, the cost is rising, the leadership is unstable, and the promises made at the beginning are already being swallowed by the flames. That is the dark turn. And once the official story can no longer survive contact with reality, the next thing to die is trust.

Yesterday, the White House quickly deleted a video of Trump’s spiritual advisor Paula White comparing his presidency to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ that quickly sparked outrage all across social media. When Donald Trump regained the presidency for a second term, one of the first things he did was to install what we call a cadre of cartoon characters to various high-level positions like the FBI, DHS, AG and others. One by one, they’ve been falling like dominoes. The woman who claimed that the Epstein Files were on her desk and she was ready to start prosecuting, now former Attorney General Pam Bondi, did nothing with those files and now she is gone. The Epstein Files outlasted her, and perhaps, will outlast the entire Trump administration until someone does something with them.

Pam Bondi is out, and if there was a final blow to her already battered standing, the Epstein files controversy may well have been it. President Donald Trump has reportedly removed his attorney general after weeks of mounting outrage over the Justice Department’s handling of the Epstein records, a debacle that drew bipartisan criticism, fueled accusations of deception, and intensified the sense that Bondi had lost control of one of the most politically toxic scandals in Washington. AP reports her tenure was marked by turmoil, with the Epstein files specifically becoming one of the biggest flashpoints attached to her downfall. Trump desperately wanted Bondi to make the Epstein Files disappear, but instead she ignited them into a bonfire. Chaos continues to reign in Trump’s White House.

FROM FOX NEWS: President Donald Trump reportedly has already fired Attorney General Pam Bondi, according to two sources familiar with the matter who spoke with Fox News Digital. Bondi met with Trump in the Oval Office Wednesday night ahead of his speech to the nation on the war in Iran, where she reportedly was informed of her ouster, according to two sources familiar with the meeting.

One of those sources said that by the time Trump took his place behind the podium for the address, Bondi already had lost her job and was on her way back to Florida. Trump is reportedly considering replacing Bondi with Environmental Protection Agency Director Lee Zeldin, according to the sources familiar with the matter.
