The long-promised Blue Wave did not materialize tonight as Democrats take House but not much else, huge victory for the Trump agenda
Van Jones, by his own admission on fake news CNN tonight, said he was ‘heartbroken’ that the Blue Wave fizzled out to the degree it failed to materialize. The Democrats, in order to turn the tide, needed big wins across the board and that they did not get this evening. Not by a long shot.
Yes, Democrats took the House, but Republicans kept the Senate. That’s huge. Sen. Ted Cruz defeated Democratic Rep. Beto O’Rourke in the race for Senate in Texas, holding off the progressive online fundraising sensation and leaving Democrats who hoped to snap a 24-year statewide losing streak disappointed again.
Democrats suffered massives losses tonight, as some of their biggest stars either lost to Republicans, or are projected to lose to Republicans. As I write this Ron DeSantis in Florida has just beaten the George Soros-backed Andrew Gillum. Another huge win for Team Trump.
Van Jones ‘heartbroken’ as Blue Wave never showed up
Republicans defied expectations of a blue wave largely on the strength of several major wins in the Senate. The Fox News Decision Desk projects that Republican Rep. Kevin Cramer will unseat one-term Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp in North Dakota, scoring a crucial Senate pickup for the GOP. Heitkamp, who had long struggled against Cramer in the reliably red state, may have sealed her political fate last month when she voted against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

President is prepared to work across the aisle with Dems
In Indiana, Republican businessman Mike Braun will defeat first-term Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly, another Democrat whose vote against Kavanaugh proved costly. The race was one of the most closely fought races in the country, and Braun’s victory marks another big win for the GOP. Trump had aggressively campaigned for Braun in recent days.

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the building of the recording studio, but it also goes to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 12,621 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 13,600 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
