The Rapture of the Church could absolutely happen today, but if it did it would not be connected to the solar eclipse according to any Bible prophecy in the writings of our apostle, Paul.
“And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” Joel 2:30,31 (KJV)
Today certainly could be the Rapture of the Church, I look for that event to take place every day. An event that will take place for certain is a complete eclipse of the sun. Here in Florida, the solar eclipse will be at its height at 2:25 PM. A complete solar eclipse of the sun has not happened since 1979. And as usual, the non-rightly dividers are trying to place this event smack dab in the middle of the time of Jacob’s trouble.
The Express UK had this to say: Many “fundamentalist Christians” see this as a significant warning of the impending apocalypse, the second coming of Christ and the rapture. The “Great American Total Solar Eclipse” as it is called is said to be a warning sign from God, as it allegedly fulfills a Bible prophecy. Pastor Paul Begley, host of the Coming Apocalypse radio show, said the eclipse could possibly fulfil a prophecy recorded in the book of Joel.
This states: “The sun shall be turned to darkness before the Day of the Lord come.” Mr Begley said “somebody sound the trumpet” because the eclipse may mean “we are living in the last days.”
Writing for Unsealed.org, Gary Ray says the eclipse may mean that 2017 will mark the beginning of the Tribulation, a time the Bible describes as a period of conflict and suffering on a scale never experienced in mankind’s history.
No, we are not living in the time of Jacob’s trouble
As I stated at the top of this article, the Rapture of the Church could absolutely happen today, but if it did it would not be connected to the solar eclipse according to any Bible prophecy in the writings of our apostle, Paul.
But since the Rapture of the Church comes before the time of Jacob’s trouble, before the Battle of Armageddon and before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, you can be guaranteed that none of those last 3 events will be taking place today.
